A Six-Step Approach to Designing and Implementing a Successful Extensive Reading Plan for Young Learners
Get PDFP(論文)本論文は、効果的な 6 段階多読計画の実施方法を検討する。最初に、学習者の読解力を評価する 詳細な方法、そして読書計画で使用すべき段階別読本の種類を詳しく説明する。次に、多読計画を 実施する際の戦略、そして学習者を励ます方法に焦点をおく。ここでは、教員が学習者の前で朗読 するメリットを説明し、そして学習者を動機づける目的を検討する。最後に、多読計画の成果をあ げるために必要な支援や励ましについて詳しく述べる。本論文の段階を踏めば、あらゆる機関が学 習者向けの効果的な読書計画を構築することができる。This paper takes a six-step approach to the implementation of a successful extensive reading plan. A detailed approach explaining how to determine the reading level of the student, and the type of readers that should be used in the reading plan is explained in detail. The paper shifts its focus on the strategies that are used in implementing an extensive reading plan to methods that encourage students in the program. This is done by first explaining the advantage of reading out loud to students, and then examining the pur- pose of motivating the students. Finally, this paper details the support and encouragement needed for an exten- sive reading plan to succeed. By following the steps outlined in this paper institutions can build a successful reading plan for their students.departmental bulletin pape
Quantitative Analysis Utilizing the MVN System of the Musical Expression in Early Childhood: Mainly 5 Year Old Children in the Different Childcare Forms of Nursery Schools
Get PDFP(論文)この研究の目的は、幼児の音楽的表現における動きの要素について、3D モーションキャプチャーを用いた動 作解析を通して、音楽的諸要素の認識と動きの要素との関係性を、より明確に捉えることができる方法について考察 することである。そのために、異なる保育形態における保育園 5 歳児に、筆者開発による MEB プログラムの実践過 程において、MVN システムによる動作解析の定量的分析を行った。その結果、音楽的表現における動きの要素の変 化が、移動距離、移動平均速度、移動平均加速度の変化を辿ることを通して、可視的に捉えられた。特に、移動平均 加速度の変化が、幼児の音楽的表現における動きの要素の変化を最も表していた。遊び中心の保育形態にある U 保 育園児については、日常の園生活でふりを多く経験するために、自発的なふりが劇化に繋がる動きの表現へと移行す ることによって、音楽的表現における動きの要素が増加していると考えられた。日常生活の感覚訓練に関してモンテッ ソーリ・メソッドの保育形態にある K 保育園児については、事象の有する規則性を感得する経験が多いために、音 楽的諸要素の認識によって動きの表現が誘発されたと考えられた。The purpose of this study is to consider a method to inspect the relationship between the recognition of musical elements and the movement element through the movement analysis using 3D motion capture more definitely about the musical expression in early childhood. Therefore I practiced MEB program to the 5 year old children in the different childcare forms. I carried out the movement analysis with the MVN system every activity phase in the practical process. As a result, the change of the movement element in the musical expression was caught through the movement distance, the moving average of velocity, and the moving average of acceleration visually. Specifically, a change of the moving average of acceleration expressed the change of the movement element in the musical expression. It was thought that the movement elements in the musical expression increased because a voluntary movement expression was shifted from make believe to dramatization by the U nursery schoolers who were in childcare form mainly on the play. Because there was much experience to realize regularity in the phenomenon, it was thought that the recognition of musical elements caused the movement expression about the K nursery schoolers who were in the childcare form of the Montessori method of sensory training concerning everyday-life.departmental bulletin pape

Pre and Post Guidance Procedures in “Primary School Teaching Practice”: Guidance Effects and Challenges as Seen from Student Attitudes Survey
Get PDFP(論文)本研究の目的は、教育実習の事前・事後指導について、その効果と課題を検証することである。
あらかじめ調査された教育実習に対する学生の不安の中で最大のものは「授業づくり」であり、次いで「児童や教員との人間関係づくり」であった。この結果を基に展開された授業「教育実習指導」においては、まず、模擬授業、現場教員の講話、ビデオ視聴等の事前指導を行った。実習後、質問紙調査により、この事前指導によって不安が解消されたか、また実習校で実際に役立ったかを内容別に明らかにした。その結果は全体として良好であったが、例えば「教材研究」では、不安解消にはつながったものの現場での実用性はやや低いという傾向が出た。このことから、個別の教材作りで止まることなく、指導目標や子どもの発達特性に結びついた汎用性のある「教材研究の視点」として指導することの大切さが浮き彫りになった。また、実習前の予想と現実のギャップについても調査したが、学生は実習先で、授業中の発問の仕方や特別な支援を要する子どもへの対応等に難しさを感じていたことが判明した。本稿では、これらの結果を踏まえ、教員になるための自覚や使命感をさらに高める事後指導（リフレクション）の在り方についても、その整理を試みた。The purpose of this study was to verify the effects and challenges of teaching practice guidance. A pre investigation of teaching practice anxieties revealed that “lesson planning” was the cause of greatest anxiety amongst student teachers followed by “human relation” factors. Based on these results, “Teaching practice guidance”, was expanded to include such things as mock lessons, lectures by active teachers, and video viewing. A post teaching practice survey results, made clear whether pre teaching guidance anxieties were allieved, and pre teaching guidance was actually useful during teaching practice. Overall, the results were favorable. For example, in the case of “Researching teaching materials”, there was a link in anxiety allevia- tion, but in practical terms, in relieving actual teaching practice situation anxiety, there was quite a low tendency. From this it was revealed the importance of having a more broad utility with respect to “Teaching materials research viewpoint” to also combine things like instructional objectives and developmental charac- teristics of children, while not stopping the making of teaching materials per se. Furthermore, the survey revealed a discrepency between pre teaching practice expectations and the actual teaching situation. During teaching practice, students found difficulty in things like how to ask questions and how to respond to chil- dren who require extra support. In this paper, based on the survey results, we attempt to organize the data in order to heighten awareness, and develop a sense of mission with regard to post teaching practice reflection procedures for the purposes of training students to become teachers.departmental bulletin pape
