Power of the Picture Book : A Discussion based on a Questionnaire Survey for Students
Get PDFP(論文)幼稚園実習後の4 回生のアンケートから、乳児にとって絵本は必要かどうか、また、最近よく見るスマホ絵本について、どのように考えているのかを考察する。学生が今まで読んだ絵本の中で特に印象に残った絵本は何か、絵本に対する想いなどを考察する。また、自由記入から、絵本の持つ力や、必要性について絵本の歴史にも触れながら考察するものである。また、スマホ絵本の在り方について述べる内容である。Based on the results of a questionnaire survey for 4th year university students who completed practical training in a kindergarten, we discuss whether picture books are necessary for infants, and how they think about the recent popularization of picture books in smartphone applications. Furthermore, we also discus which picture book was the most impressive among those read by students in the past, and what their thoughts are regarding picture books. Based on the ideas they freely provided in the survey, we examine the power and necessity of picture books, while addressing the history of picture books. Significance and Method of Teaching "the Observation Method" in the Kindergarten Teacher Training Course: Experimenting with the Utilization of TV Documentaries
Get PDFP(論文)観察法は、子ども理解の方法として幼稚園等の現場で最も広く実践され、また最も大切なものである。そのため、大学等の幼稚園教員養成課程においても、この手法は重点的に扱われている。
しかしながら、大学の中で観察法を指導するには幾つかの困難がある。まず、園に出向いて直接観察できればよいが、担当クラスの学生数が多い場合は難しいこと。また、子どもによほど近づかないとその声や表情を捉えられず「学びの事実」と向き合うことができないこと。加えて子ども理解においては、同じ子どもを長期的・継続的に観察したり人間関係の中で捉えたりすることが大切だが、単発的な観察ではそれが難しいことなどである。
一方、ＴＶドキュメンタリーとして編集された幼児の学びは分かり易く、かつ興味深い事実を切り取っているところが魅力である。制作上の意図が大学教育の目的と合致していれば、積極的に活用すべきである。
本研究は、ＴＶドキュメンタリーの映像資料を効果的に活用することにより学生が観察法の基本を身につけることができることを実践的に証明したものである。Not only is the "observation method" the most widely used method for understanding children, but it is also the most important. For this reason, in kindergarten teacher training courses at higher education institutions, the focus of instruction is also guided by this method. However, there are 3 major obstacles in teaching observation methodology in universities. First, it is difficult to visit kindergartens and do observation if the number of university students is large. Secondly, if the observer cannot have close contact with the children, it is difficult to capture their voices and expressions, and therefore one cannot come face-to-face with "the facts of learning ". Thirdly, it is important to continue to observe the same child over an extended period of time as well as observe that child’s interpersonal relationships. This is impossible to do by a single observation. On the other hand, using TV documentaries about infant learning that has had pertinent and interesting facts extracted is an attractive alternative. If the intent of production matches the purpose of university education, it should be actively utilized. This research paper reveals that by effectively utilizing video materials of TV documentaries in actual classroom practice, that students can acquire the basics of observation methodology.departmental bulletin pape
Constructing a Database of Semantic Transparency of Japanese Two Kanji Compound Words
Get PDFP(論文)視覚呈示された単語認知過程に関する多くの研究が、単語を読む際の、部分の処理と全体の処理との相互作用 に注目している。日本語で最も一般的な単語構造である漢字二字熟語についても、部分処理と全体処理との関係が検 討されてきた。本研究では、漢字二字熟語自体の意味と構成要素の漢字の意味との一致が調査された。合計 208 人の 大学生がこの研究に参加した。415 項目の漢字二字熟語のリストは、4 つのサブリストにランダムに分割された。調査 参加者はそれぞれ 1 つのサブリストに対し、漢字二字熟語の意味とその構成要素の漢字の意味の一致を主観的に評価 するよう求められた。この評定値の平均および標準偏差が計算された。結果はテーブルで示されている。このデータ ベースは、認知心理学領域の単語認知過程の検討に際して、漢字二字熟語の透明性に関するデータベースを提供する。Many studies on visual word recognition have focused on the interaction between analytic process and holistic process in reading single word. For two kanji compound words, which are the most common word structure in the Japanese language, the relation between whole word processing and the partial processing has been examined. In the present study, the consistency between the meaning of two-kanji compound word itself and that of component kanji characters（semantic transparency）was investigated. A total of 208 university students participated in this study. A list of 415 words was arbitrarily divided into 4 sub-lists. Each participant was given one sub list and asked to rate each word with regard to consistency between the meaning of two kanji compound word and that of its component kanji character（semantic transparency). Means and standard deviations were calculated for the semantic transparency. The results of this study are catalogued in the tables presented here. This database may be employed to provide normative semantic transparency data for experimental studies using two-kanji compound words for word recognition in cogni- tive psychology.departmental bulletin pape
Historical Study of “OTOME Games”: Focus on the Character Analysis
Get PDFP(論文)本稿は、「乙女ゲーム」の歴史の変遷とともに、「乙女ゲーム」におけるキャラクターの重要性についてイメー ジカラーを中核として考察したものである。「乙女ゲーム」は、1994 年に発売されて以降、ノベルゲーム化していく とともに、さまざまなゲームタイトルが発売されてきた。このような「乙女ゲーム」を紹介するゲーム雑誌を分析す ると、「乙女ゲーム」が多く発売されるようになる 2010 年以降、キャラクターやストーリーを重視したものとなって いたことが明らかとなった。さらに、「乙女ゲーム」の攻略対象キャラクターとイメージカラーのもつ意味との関係 性を考察した。そのような攻略対象キャラクターに、「声」を当てることによって、読むだけよりも臨場感のあるゲー ムといえ、「乙女ゲーム」の特徴として捉えることができるのである。The target of analysis in this paper is a research report about historical study of “OTOME Games”. We trace to history of “OTOME Games（Girl’s Games）” in game magazine. And, we analyze image colors of “OTOME Games” characters. Closed Elementary Schools and School District Communities : Case Studies in Central Kyoto
Get PDFP(論文)本論は、萩原［2016］以後の京都都心部の廃校跡地活用の進展についてまとめるとともに、近年の社会状況の 変化に対応し、新たな取り組みを行っている 3 つの学区を対象とした実地調査の成果について考察することを目的と している。本論をとおして明らかとなることは、統合された学区の一部で児童生徒数が急増し、学校跡地に新校舎の 建設が求められる反転現象が生まれており、一方では、活用が進まなかった跡地を定期借地として貸し付け、民間か ら活用事業を募る新方式の採用によって跡地活用が進みつつある地域もあることである。さらに事例調査によって、 急激な地域社会の変容や新しい活用方式に対応しながら、住民の地道で創造的な自治活動、芸術文化活動の展開によっ て、地域コミュニティが活性化し、元小学校の文化的価値が再発見されている学区のあることが提示される。The aim of this paper is to summarize the progress of reuse of closed elementary schools in central Kyoto, and consider outcomes of field surveys on three districts with closed schools and that are responding to recent changes in the social climate and undertaking new forms of action. One finding clarified is that the number of students has increased sharply in some of the districts with closed schools; this necessitates con- struction of a new elementary school building on the site of the closed school. In contrast, other school districts are rapidly advancing with reuse of sites of closed schools by adopting a new proposal system, established by the city of Kyoto, in which sites are leased to the private sector for the next 60 years. Addi- tionally, case studies imply some school districts have revitalized their local communities and rediscovered the cultural value of former elementary schools through creative self governing activities or arts and culture. Such efforts are taken to respond to the sudden changes in local society and to the new proposal system.departmental bulletin pape

Relation between the High School Entrance Examination and Elementary School Arithmetic : Considering Numbers Using a Unit and Number Sense and Square Root Calculation
