Pasibo restaurants complex integrating passive ventilation and passive daylighting through ambient conditions and spatial layout : an application of importance and performance analysis to the evaluation of physical environment on restaurants in Davao City, downtown area
In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree Bachelor of Science in ArchitectureThe restaurant's physical environment gives the impression to every customer on how
they may be able to use the space. Also, the physical environment impacts the behavior of the customer and the restaurant's Performance (Çetinsöz, 2019). This study aims to evaluate the Importance and Performance of the physical environment in restaurants with passive ventilation and passive daylighting, which are Penong’s Barbeque Seafood and Grill (Quirino Avenue Branch), Pards Seafood Grill and Restaurant (Illustre Street), Mamadas Barbecue Seafoods at Ihaw Ihaw (Lopez Jeana Street), and Barbeque Boss (Quirino Avenue Branch). This study will be descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The method used in analyzing the data is Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA). The sample size of this study is 196 respondents, who are the people who experience eating in those restaurants. This study found that there is a single variable that was perceived as extremely important by the customers: cleanliness. This variable was excellently performed by the restaurants that then belong in Quadrant two (2). As for Quadrant one (1), the variables that belong to it are Layout, Furnishings, Lighting, and Color. In Quadrant three (3), no variable belongs to this quadrant out of all the variables. In Quadrant four (4), the variables that belong to it are Scent and Temperature. Based on the study result, the researcher suggested keeping the performance these four (4) restaurants gave and developing it

Cash management among selected laundry shops in Davao City
In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree of
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
Major in Financial MangementThe main purpose of the study was to determine the level of cash management among selected laundry shops in Davao City. The researchers used an adapted questionnaire that was validated by experts. The convenience sampling method was used because it allows the researchers to obtain primary data and trends regarding their study without the complications of obtaining 100 laundry shop owners in Davao City. The statistical tools employed in treating the problem were mean, frequency and percentage, and analysis of variance. The researchers came up with a conclusion based on results. The area of cash flow analysis got the highest overall mean, followed by financing and borrowing costs, debtor management, and sell on credit. This provides a strategy for easier determining the level of cash flow management among laundry shops by not overlooking their cash flow analysis for smoother business cash management

an application of a correlational study on transport terminals' conditions vis-a-vis users' convenience
In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree of Bachelor of Science in ArchitectureTransport terminals are at the heart of vehicular activity; they house passengers and operators and bring vehicles and people together. To some extent, these terminals intend to give exceptional and equal services to the public. Their help should be an extension of the stations' efforts to improve the city's economic and tourist conditions. Unfortunately, due to severe financial conditions, the demand for transportation restoration in many parts of the country has yet to be achieved. As a result, the study looked at scenarios that impact people's convenience at Public Transportation Terminals. Specifically, this study sought to (i) ascertain the link between the condition of the city transport terminals and the convenience of travelers, (ii) discover and narrow down the aspects that influence the passengers' travel convenience, and (iii) determine the transport terminals' conditions that best meet the needs of the passengers. Following a quantitative approach, data were primarily taken from the students' Google forms and survey questionnaires and subjected to the Pearson-r statistical treatment. The researcher utilized the correlational design by employing a 33-item questionnaire for the respondents' perception of the condition of the facilities adapted from the Federal Transit Administration, US Department of Transportation (2021) and a 29-item questionnaire which measures the
transport stations' service factors, adapted from Adamos et al. (2019). The two questionnaires utilized a 5-point Likert Scale and were distributed randomly to 381 residents of Bislig City. The results revealed a strong significant correlation between the variables, which entails that the condition in a presented station affects the masses' interpretation of comfort and convenience
Proposed design and analysis of a level III water distribution system with water treatment in Caraga, Davao Oriental
In Partial Fulfilment of the Requirements for the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil EngineeringThe residents of Brgy. Palmagil in Caraga, Davao Oriental, lacks a proper water distribution system that supplies enough potable water for their community. Their spring water source shall have to provide water to 4 sitios or barangays, which have a total of 360 households (HH) and are located at some distance away from each other. The researchers are to aid the community by analyzing and designing a Level III Water Distribution System that must also include a suitable water treatment system. The analyzing and designing process uses software applications (e.g., EPANET and Google Earth), manuals on water distribution, and gathered data.
The EPANET software program, where the project is analyzed, is used with simple mathematical equations and other data from the feasibility study (FS) document. Following the standards set by the manuals or by the industry experts, the project's design incorporates the analysis result. During the analysis process, the placement of reservoir tanks and communal faucets for each sitio or barangay affects the flow and pressure values of the water supply. The size and length of pipe used in the analysis also matter as there is an allocated budget to consider and can affect the analysis result. In conclusion, the reservoir tank, intended for one sitio nearest to the water source, is now designed to supply water to the whole community instead of the planned one reservoir tank per sitio or barangay
