Revised: Unity Logs and Survey Data (collected) for "virtual Rod and Frame Test and gamified spatial orientation task"

    No full text
This is a revised version of the previous version: http://dx.doi.org/10.25532/OPARA-283 The current version increases accessibility to the research data as additional translations are used and delimiters for preprocessed data are unified. "VR_RFT_Input" contains Unity-logs and survey data collected between 2022-2023 by J. Josupeit, L. Greim and S. Sanchez Rivas under the experiment title "Replication of Field-Dependency and Cybersickness". The data are structured in 3 folders for each the Unity logs of the virtual RFT "VR_RFT_RFT" and the gamified spatial orientation task "VR_RFT_City", as well as the demographic data of the LimeSurvey questionnaire "VR_RFT_Limesurvey". Aside the folders the experimental protocol and an overview text (Readme) file are included. Associated research article: Josupeit, J. (2024). TUD Industrial Database (v1.1)

    No full text
This database supports modeling transformation pathways in Germany’s process industry sector by providing techno-economic data for processes associated with at least one conventional or low carbon production system having as main output alumina, ammonia, bricks, chlorine, clinker, container glass, corrugated board, float glass, high value chemicals, methanol, newspaper, other graphic paper, primary aluminum, primary copper, primary steel, quicklime, refractories, secondary aluminum, secondary steel, soda ash, tissue, or urea. The techno-economic data comprise availability factors and lifetimes of industrial process facilities, normalized investments for both new conventional process facilities and for the defossilization of existing process facilities, energy and raw material inputs, by-product outputs, and market entry years of processes. Additionally, the database provides both statistics and scenario assumptions on annual industrial production volumes, purchase prices for inputs, sales prices for by-products, European Emission Allowance prices, and carbon dioxide intensities of the inputs used in the processes. To reflect variability in literature values, especially regarding energy and material flows, investments, and other techno-economic assumptions, the dataset provides intervals consisting of a reference value (REF) representing the median of the available data, as well as an upper bound (UB) reflecting the less optimistic and a lower bound (LB) representing the more optimistic range of specifications regarding costs available for a process

Influence of various types of modification on the material behavior of bitumen

    No full text
The present study investigated the influence of various types of modifications on the material behavior of bitumen. The stiffness behavior was examined using a temperature-frequency sweep, and the deformation behavior was examined using an adapted Single Stress Creep Recovery (SSCR) test. These tests were carried out on Anton Paar's Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) utilizing the plate-plate geometry. The Anton Paar DSR was also employed to assess fatigue and low-temperature behavior, utilizing a solid-sample geometry. The tests are described in more detail in "Chemical and Mechanical Characterisation of Sbs-Modified Bitumen" by Kamratowsky et al. (submitted 2025)

    Data MembraneTension HeLa in mitosis

    No full text
In this project, we were investigating the membrane tension in mitotically arrested HeLa cells using two different methods: the optical membrane tension sensor FliptR and membrane tether forces. FliptR is a fluorescent dye that localizes to the plasma membrane. Perfoming FLIM on the plasma membrane fluorescence signal, we fitted fluorescence lifetimes as a measure of membrane tension. Further, coated tips of an pyramidal AFM cantilever (Bruker MLCT) were used to pull membrane tethers. The full description of the Methods is in the uploaded manuscript draft "PandaEtAl.pdf" contained in PaperArabinda_05Feb2025.zip The microscopy/AFM data used for analysis and generation of the figures in this manuscript draft are uploaded in this archive. Figure numbers in the naming of the folders are corresponding to the figure numbers in this manuscript draft and not to figure numbers in a potentially updated later version of the manuscript

SivaS Project Results: Traffic Observation Data and Exemplary Subset of Master Database

    No full text
This dataset comprises JSON files and .mp4 video recordings that collectively form the foundation of a centralized database for traffic observations, referred to as the SivaS Master Database. Included in the dataset are: (i) a subset of the raw traffic observation data, (ii) JSON schemas defining the standardized data structure for traffic data storage, (iii) the hierarchical folder framework for organizing such data, and (iv) an exemplary implementation of the standardized database. Given the complexity of the raw data and the substantial effort involved in converting it into the standardized structure, only a limited sample dataset was manually curated and prepared. The SivaS Master Database was created by transforming a subset of the raw traffic data collected during the project into the established database, designed to support integration from various acquisition systems. The dataset includes traffic observations obtained through three different modalities: drones, stationary pole-mounted cameras, and sensor-equipped NDS (Naturalistic Driving Study) vehicles. Specifically, it features over 60 minutes of video recordings from a junction in the city of Dresden, captured simultaneously by three stationary cameras. Additionally, it contains more than 30 minutes of drone-based video footage from two separate junctions in the city of Hoyerswerda. It also includes vehicle positioning data collected by a sensor-equipped observation vehicle, formatted according to the standardized structure, from traffic observations conducted in Hoyerswerda

GRK 2802: Phosphorus Partition Between Liquid Crude Steel and High-Basicity Basic Oxygen Furnace Slags Containing V2O5

    No full text
The influence of V2O5 on the phosphorus partition between liquid crude steel and heterogenous basic oxygen furnace (BOF) slag with CaO/SiO2 = 4.2 was investigated at a temperature of 1600 C in a middle frequency induction furnace. Thereby the phosphorus transfer from ‘‘steel to slag’’ as well as from ‘‘slag to steel’’ was studied over a holding time of 60 minutes. The measured results were shown as phosphorus partition and phosphorus capacity and compared with the experimental values from the literature. It was found that V2O5 in highly basic BOF slags decreases phosphorus partition and phosphorus capacity. In addition, the resulting slags were investigated using a scanning electron microscope (SEM)

Parametric Analysis Data on Boil-Off Rate and Holding Time of Metallic Tanks Containing Ammonia

    No full text
This dataset was generated using a Simulink model developed as part of a digital platform to support the conceptual design of ships utilizing ammonia. The model simulates a metallic tank filled with ammonia under an initial predefined pressure and liquid volume fraction, analyzing its boil-off rate and holding time

    No full text
This dataset is part of NH3CRAFT Deliverable D5.4: Parametrized Test-Benchmark with Dataset of Desktop Studies. It contains the dimensioning of the main auxiliary systems for ammonia-fueled vessels. The dataset includes data for the dimensioning of the pipes, low- and high-pressure pumps, recirculation and buffer tanks, heaters and nitrogen supply requirements

Tire Footprint Measurements of Commercial Truck Tires

    No full text
This data publication presents high-resolution measurements of tire contact patch pressure distributions obtained using a capacitive pressure-mapping sensor with 1.6 mm spatial resolution and 65,536 sensing points. The dataset captures contact pressures between 69 kPa and 2070 kPa for two commercial truck tires. Footprints were recorded at various wheel loads under a constant inflation pressures, providing detailed insight into load-dependent pressure behavior. All measurements were taken with the sensor mounted on a flat surface within the experimental setup, while the ika’s tire stiffness test rig (SteiReP) supplied controlled loading conditions to ensure repeatable data acquisition
