The Impact of Total Quality Management on Organizational Excellence in the Jordanian Mining Sector – A case study on Technical Drilling Company
Get PDFهدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر إدارة الجودة الشاملة بأبعادها (دعم الإدارة العليا، والتحسين المستمر، وتمكين العاملين، والتخطيط الإستراتيجي للجودة) على التميز المنظمي بأبعاده (تميز الإستراتيجية، وتميز القيادة، وتميز الهيكل التنظيمي، وتميز الثقافة) في قطاع التعدين الأردني في الشركة الفنية للحفر كدراسة حالة، واستخدم الباحثان المنهج الكمي (الوصفي التحليلي) مستخدمين الإستبيان كأداة لجمع البيانات من مجتمع الدراسة المتكون من جميع العاملين في الوظائف الإدارية العليا والوظائف الإدارية التكتيكية والوظائف الإدارية الإشرافية في الشركة الفنية للحفر والبالغ عددهم 75 موظفا بإستخدام إستراتيجية المسح الشامل لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة المتمثلة بالتعرف الى مستوى الأهمية النسبية لمتغيرات الدراسة (إدارة الجودة الشاملة، والتميز المنظمي) في الشركة الفنية للحفر، وبيان أثر إدارة الجودة الشاملة في التميز المنظمي في الشركة الفنية للحفر. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أنه يوجد أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية 0.05) لإدارة الجودة الشاملة بأبعادها (دعم الادارة العليا، والتحسين المستمر، وتمكين العاملين، والتخطيط الاستراتيجي للجودة) في التميز المنظمي بأبعاده مجتمعة ومنفردة في الشركة الفنية للحفر
وأوصت الدراسة بعدة توصيات من أهمها:- من الأهمية بمكان تدريب العاملين في الشركة على أسس تطبيق الجودة الشاملة بشكل أفضل مما هو مطبق حاليا. كما أن من الضروري أن تمتلك الشركة رؤية مستقبلية واضحة إزاء ما تسعى لتحقيقه، وأن تتجه القرارات الإستراتيجية للشركة إلى إحداث التغيرات في البيئة.The study aimed to identify the impact of total quality management with its dimensions (Top Management Support, Continuous Improvement, Employee Empowerment, Strategic Planning) on organizational excellence with its dimensions (Strategy Excellence, Leadrship Excellence, Organizational Structure Excellence, Organizational Culture Excellence) in the Jordanian industrial mining sector, and the researchers used the quantitative (descriptive analytical) method using the questionnaire as a tool for data collection from the study population consisting of all employees in senior management positions, tactical administrative positions and supervisory administrative positions in Technical Drilling Company which consisted of 75 employees using the comprehensive survey strategy to achieve the objectives of the study, which is to identify the level of relative importance of the study variables (Total Quality Management, and Organizational Excellence) in the Jordanian industrial mining sector, and to show the impact of total quality management on organizational excellence in the Jordanian industrial mining sector. The results of the study showed that there is a statistically significant effect for total quality management with its dimensions (top management support, continuous improvement, employee empowerment, and strategic quality planning) in organizational excellence with its combined and individual dimensions in the Technical Drilling Company. The study made several recommendations, it is of great importance to train the company's employees on the foundations of the application of total quality better than what is currently applied. It is also necessary for the company to have a clear future vision about what it seeks to achieve, and for the company's strategic decisions to bring about changes in the environment
The Impact of the Electronic Health System on Employees' Performance at Governmental Hospitals in Amman
Get PDFهدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى أثر نِظَام الصِحَة الإلكترُونِي بأبعَادِه (السِجِلّات الطِبية الإلكترُونِية، والوَصفَات الطِبيّة الإلكترُونِية، والمَوَاعِيد الإلكترُونِية، ومُشَارَكَة الصُوَر إلكترُونيّاً) في أدَاء العَامِلين بأبعَادِه (سُرعَة الأدَاء، والمَعرِفَة بمُتَطلبَات العَمَل، وجَودَة الأدَاء) في المُستَشفَيات الحُكُومِية في عمّان. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم إعتماد المنهج الوصفي التحليلي الكمي، حيث قام الباحث بتطوير إستبانة مكونة من (40) فقرة. تم توزيع (359) إستبانه على عينة عشوائية طبقية تناسبية للمستشفيات ضمن المسميات التالية (طبيب، صيدلي، ممرض، فني) الذين يعملون في المُستَشفَيات الحُكُومِية الأردنية الواقعة في العاصمة عمّان والتي تطبق نِظَام الصِحَة الإلكترُونِي (حكيم) فيها، وقد بلغ عدد الاستبانات المستردة والصالحة للتحليل (311) إستبانة، ما نسبته (86.6%) من عينة الدراسة. ومن أجل تحليل وعرض بيانات الدراسة تم استخدام برنامج الحزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الإجتماعية (SPSS)، وتم استخدام معادلة الانحدار الخطي المتعدد لتحليل فرضيات الدراسة. توصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج أهمها: وجود أثر ايجابي بين نِظَام الصِحَة الإلكترُونِي بأبعَادِه مجتمعة (السِجِلّات الطِبية الإلكترُونِية، والوَصفَات الطِبيّة الإلكترُونِية، والمَوَاعِيد الإلكترُونِية، ومُشَارَكَة الصُوَر إلكترُونيّاً) ومنفردة في أدَاء العَامِلين في المُستَشفَيات الحُكُومِية في عمّان.The study aimed to identify the impact of electronic health system with its dimensions (Electronic medical records, electronic medical prescriptions, electronic appointments, and sharing of images electronically) on employees' performance with its dimensions (Speed of performance, knowledge of work requirements, and quality of performance) at governmental hospitals in Amman. To achieve the objectives of the study, a descriptive analytical approach was relied, where the researcher developed a questionnaire consisting of (40) paragraph. (359) questionnaires were distributed on a proportional stratified random sample for hospitals within the following names (Doctor, pharmacist, nurse, technician) who work in the Jordanian government hospitals located in the capital Amman, which apply the electronic health system (Hakeem) therein. While the number of recovered and valid questionnaires was (311) which represents (86.6%) of the sample size. In order to analyze and display the study data, the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) program was used. The multiple linear regression equation was used to analyze the hypotheses of the study.
The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: a positive impact between dimensions of the electronic health system, namely (Electronic medical records, electronic medical prescriptions, electronic appointments, and sharing of images electronically), collectively and separately on employees' performance at governmental hospitals in Amman. The relative importance of the electronic health system has a medium degree by mean of (3.60), and the relative importance of the employees' performance has a medium degree by mean of (3.40) at governmental hospitals in Amman. There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a≤ 0.05) between the average responses of the study sample members towards the perfprmance level of workers in government hospitals in amman due to the variable (gender, age group), the performance of employees' in governmental hospitals in amman is attributed to the variable ( job tittale).
Based on the results of the current study, the researcher recommends a number of recommendations, the most important are: The necessity to develop the infrastructure in government hospitals in Amman, and get rid of routine work procedures and simplify administrative procedures to optimal use of the electronic health system in order to raise the level of performance of workers and provide the best services and health care to the customers
The Impact of Strategic Ambidexterity on Smart Organization in Jordan Telecom Group (Orange)
Get PDFThe study aims at identifying the concept of Strategic Ambidexterity “SAM” and its impact on the Smart Organization “SO” in Jordan Telecom Group (Orange) “JTG”.
The study population comprises all the members of the supervisory and directive management in JTG, which includes (737) members. The questionnaire was used as a tool for all primary data. The sample representing the population of (737) members is (250) members and in order to ensure population representation, (300) questionnaires were distributed by e-mail. Number of (292) questionnaires were retrieved. The Statistical Package of Social Sciences (SPSS) was used. The results of the study showed that the descriptive analysis for the Dependent Variable of the study, i.e., the Smart Organization and its dimensions show high relative importance; and the results showed also that there is a significant impact of Strategic Ambidexterity on Smart Organization at level (P ≤ 0.05) at Jordan Telecom Group (Orange) in Jordan. Finally, and based on the results of the study, the researcher provides the following recommendations: JTG is recommended to provide professionals and specialists who conduct the needed proper assessment and analysis of the uncertainties’ effects on the company’s business; JTG might establish an organizational unit that is specialized in the projects’ outputs revision so as to take the beneficial lessons of the performed projects for future similar plans and to gain the possible opportunities.

وقد قام الباحث بالربط بين الأسس النظرية المجردة لعلم البحث والمناظرة بالتطبيق العملي لها في باب القياس التي كانت غالبا ما ترد مجملة فيه مستعينا بأمثلة تطبيقية عملية، مفندا مسائلها، ورادا فروعها إلى أصولها، ومبينا وظائف المعلل والسائل في النقض والمنع والمعارضة .

Where it linked the theoretical foundations and practical applications in managing the dispute between the fundamentalists who adhered to those foundations in a practical and practical reality and appealed to them.
The researcher has linked the abstract theoretical foundations of the science of research and the debate with the practical application of it in the chapter of analogy, which was often mentioned in summary, With the help of using practical applied examples, expounding its issues, referring its branches to its origins, and clarifying the functions of the reasoner and the questioner in veto, prevention and opposition.

كتاب الخيل للأصمعي في ضوء نظرية الحقول الدلالية
No full textتهدفُ هذه الدراسةُ إلى تسليطِ الضوءِ على التراثِ اللغويِّ وربطِه بالنظريات الدلالية الحديثة، والتأكيدِ على دور العرب في تقديم تصوّرٍ علميّ يُماثلُ نظريةَ الحقولِ الدلالية، أثناءَ قيامهم بجمع اللغة، والكشفِ عن البذور الأولى لهذه النظرية في تراثنا اللغوي، متخذةً كتابَ الخيل للأصمعي نموذجًا لذلك؛ لأنه يندرج ضمن الكتب التراثية التي ماثلت نظرية الحقول الدلالية، ونظرًا لمكانة الأصمعي العلمية، ومروياته التي يصدح صداها في كتب التراث، وأهمية الخيل عند العرب، وتحليل ألفاظ الكتاب، وتوزعها وفق قواعد نظرية الحقول الدلالية، والكشف عن علاقاتها التشابكية التي تعين القارئ على تحديد دلالاتها وعدم الخلط بين معانيها، متخذة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي عمادًا لها.
وخلصت الدراسة إلى نتيجتين رئيستين: الأولى: أن الكتاب يمكن جعله مرجعًا في الدلالة المعجمية، والأخرى: التأكيد على أنَّ ملامح نظرية الحقول الدلالية ظهرت بشكل جليّ في كتاب الخيل للأصمعي.

This study aims to revitalise the linguistic heritage by connecting it to modern developments in the form of new semantic theories. Also, to highlight the role of Arabs in preparing the theory of semantic fields, learning their methods of collecting language, and uncovering the early seeds of this theory in our linguistic heritage, using the Book of Al-Khail by Al-Asma`i as a model. Because it is one of the traditional books that set the path for semantic field theory, the importance of horses in Arab culture, the Asmui's scientific standpoint, and narratives that resonate in the heritage books. The researcher analysed the book's terms, distributed them according to the rules of semantic field theory, and revealed their synaptic relationships that help the reader determine their semantics and not confuse their meanings, taking the analytical-descriptive approach as methodology for this. The study concluded that features of the semantic field theory appeared prominently in the Book of Al-Khail by Al-Asma`i.

No full textتناولت هذه الدراسة المعنونة بالأنا والآخر بعلاقة الدهر مع الصنوبري كما ظهرت في شعره؛ فلقد كان للصنوبري رؤية استمدها من الشعراء السابقين لعصره حيث تتلخص في أنَّ هذا الدهر وهو سلطة غيبية ترافق الإنسان على طول حياته فهي تهادنه وتعطيه كل ما يتمناه في شبابه ثمَّ إذا ما كبر في عمره تخونه وتُلحق به كل المحن والمصائب حتى مماته. وظهرت هذه الرؤية مع الآخر (الدهر) في الكثير من شعرالصنوبري حتى أنَّه عندما تحققت رؤيته بعد وفاة ابنته جزع لموتها ولم يتصبَّر، فقد كان يعلم بما سيحصل له عند الكبر؛ لأنَّه أسرف بالملذات واللهو والمجون في شبابه لكنه لم يتوقع هذه الفاجعة وهذا الغدر من الدهر في نهايته.
واستعانت الدراسة بالمنهج الوصفي التحليلي للكشف عن مذهبه في حياته، وأيضاً استفادت من المنهج النفسي الذي يُلقي ظلالاً على حالته النفسية من خلال شعره
واستنتجت الدراسة أنَّ جزعه جاء بتحميل نفسه مسؤولية ما حدث؛ لأنَّه تمادى في مجونه ولهوه في شبابه، فعاقبه الدهر بقدر ما اقتنص من السعادة ليوذيقه من الألم والعذاب ما يُساوي السعادة والسرور في شبابه. ليظهر جزعه وعدم تصبره نتيجة حتمية وطبيعية لعدم توقعه عِظم المُصيبة.This study, entitled “The Ego and the Other” dealt with the relationship of eternity with Al-Sanawbari as it appeared in his poetry. Al-Sanawbari had a vision that he derived from the poets who preceded his era, as it is summed up in that this age is an unseen authority that accompanies man throughout his life. This vision appeared with the other (Eternity) in much of al-Sanawbari's poetry, so that when his vision came true after the death of his daughter, he was alarmed by her death and did not wait patiently, for he knew what would happen to him when he grew up; Because he was extravagant in pleasures, amusement and promiscuity in his youth, but he did not expect this catastrophe and this treachery from time at its end.
The study used the analytical descriptive approach to reveal his doctrine in his life, and also benefited from the psychological approach that casts shadows on his psychological state through his poetry.
The study concluded that his anxiety came to hold himself responsible for what happened. Because he persisted in his promiscuity and amusement in his youth, so time punished him as much as he snatched happiness in order to make him taste of pain and torment equal to happiness and pleasure in his youth. المصرف الإسلامي الوقفي (مصادر الأموال واستخداماتها)
No full text هدفت الدراسة إلى إيجاد مصرف إسلامي وقفي الهدف منه استغلال الوقف النقدي واستثماره، في محاولة لإيجاد سبل لاستقطاب النقود الموقوفة وتثميرها من خلال الأساليب الاستثمارية الحديثة، محققاً بذلك مبدأ الاستمرارية والنمو من خلال تحقيق زيادة الأرباح والعوائد مما ينعكس على الجهات المستفيدة من الوقف.
واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي والتحليل الاستقرائي من خلال البحث في البيئة التشريعية للمصرف الوقفي ودوره في إدارة الوقف النقدي، إضافة إلى البحث في آليات استقطاب الأموال وأساليب استثمارها وتنميتها، وأهم ما توصلت إلية الدراسة الاستعانة بالأداة القانونية المنشأة للمصارف الإسلامية لإقامة المصرف الإسلامية الوقفي، باعتباره مصرفية يقبل الودائع الوقفية ويمارس الأنشطة المصرفية ويخضع لرقابة البنك المركزي، ودورة في إدارة أموال الوقف يتمثل في الولاية على الوقف، وأهم مصادر الأموال الداخلية تتمثل في المساهمات المقدمة من الجهات المختلفة، أما المصادر الخارجية أهمها الودائع الوقفية، وأهم ما أوصت به الدراسة على البنوك المركزية السعي لإقامة مصرف وقفي متخصص لإدارة الوقف النقدي للحد من الفقر وترسيخ مبدأ التكافل بين أفراد المجتمع.

The Impact of Academic Instructor’s key Project Management Competencies on Course Evaluation via the mediating role of Instructor’s Emotional Intelligence (EI)
Get PDFImproving course experience for undergraduate students is a basic requirement for universities to cope with the needs of the emerging era. This paper studies the impact of Instructor’s project management (PM) competencies on student’s Course Evaluation (CE) with the instructor’s Emotional Intelligence (EI) utilized as a mediator in public Jordanian Universities. A questionnaire-based survey was used to collect data. 414 valid responses were collected for statistical analysis. SmartPLS 3 software was used to analyze data and achieve paper’s objectives. The results of the study indicate that instructor’s PM competencies affect the student’s course evaluation through the mediating effect of instructor’s Emotional Intelligence (EI).This study contributes by introducing new factors (instructor’s PM competencies and EI) that influence the whole educational process.
