    Определение параметров механического щупа садового культиватора с межствольной обработкой почвы

    The article discusses the theoretical basis for determining the parameters of a mechanical device for signaling the presence of a bole (trunk) during the operation of a rotary paw of a garden cultivator with inter-stem tillage. The scheme of the experimental setup is given and the principle of operation is described. The cyclogram of the interaction of the rotary cultivator paw and the mechanical probe is given. It is substantiated that the shape of the probe can have the simplest rectilinear form. The calculation of the geometrical parameters of the probe and the return spring is presented.&nbsp

    Impactul precipitațiilor atmosferice asupra productivității culturii de floarea-soarelui

    The regime of atmospheric precipitation is one of the most important factors in determining sunflower harvest. Besides the sum of precipitation, an important role in sunflower development is also played by the annual distribution of precipitation amounts. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of atmospheric precipitation on the sunflower productivity. Research objectives consist in identifying the correlations between sunflower harvest and precipitation, as well as identifying the period of the year when the recorded precipitation has a greater impact on crop productivity. In order to identify the periods when precipitation influences the production of sunflower seeds, the data on harvest and precipitation in 2015-2020 for 21 hybrids from five stations of the State Commission for Plant Variety Testing, located in different regions of the country were analyzed. Based on the correlation degree between the two variables, it was established that the precipitation recorded in the growing season (April - September) explains over 55% of the yield variability, while the precipitation recorded in the period June-July explains over 57% of the variability. Territorial distribution of precipitation in summer is very fragmentary. Although, as a rule, higher yields were recorded in the north and center of the country, there were also recorded situations when the distribution of precipitation during the year resulted in higher yield values in the south of the country

    Evaluation and measurement of technological functions

    Technological transfer is an important factor of technological development and requires assessment and measurement of effects. Evaluation and measurement can be done with the use of models, the most important being the model of the technology, i.e. of the object being transferred. In the paper, a version of technological function's model is developed, starting from the models of interaction, establishing links, choosing the mechanism and forming the interaction interface, forming the technological function by modifying the internal functions of the objects in interaction and modifying the properties them. The modifications of the properties of the object subjected to the action, of the object carrying technological tasks and of the object-interface serves as the basis for the evaluation and measurement of the technological function in all its complexity. It is shown that technological task bearers can be of two categories: physical-technical (materials, energy, processes, etc.) and immaterial (theories, concepts, data, knowledge, etc.). Both the mechanisms and the measure of manifestation of the technological functions for the two categories are different

    The article deals with the actual problem of reducing air pollution by internal combustion engines of public transport in urban and suburban traffic through the use of battery trolleybuses for passenger transportation. A method is proposed for calculating the capacity of batteries for the autonomous movement of trolleybuses, which can be used to calculate the required capacity of trolleybus batteries for use on city bus routes partially passing under the trolleybus overhead contact wires. The calculation of the required capacity of the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery for the operation of the battery trolleybus on the real bus route of the Chisinau municipality has been carried out

    Effects of defatted walnut meal as a potential ingredient in bread: physicochemical, rheological, functional and sensory properties

    Potential functional ingredients, resulting after partial oil extraction by cold pressing, present a promising direction with perspective for the nutritional improvement of traditional bakery products and may enhance their health-promoting properties. The current study sought to determine the effect of wheat flour substitution with walnut (Juglans regia L.) meal by 0, 2, 4, and 6% of the total amount. The influence of partially defatted walnut meal (BWF) incorporation on dough physicochemical, and rheological properties, as well as the final sensory properties of the bread was investigated. Mixolab test results indicated an increase in dough development time and stability, a reduction of hydration capacity, free water content, enzymatic activity as well as a reduction of the shelf life of the enriched bread. Physical and sensory analyses showed that substitution of wheat flour with partially defatted walnut meal below 6% (on a flour basis) in bread manufacturing recipes yielded products with an enhanced porosity (72.2 to 74.5%), titratable acidity (1.4 to 2.3 degrees), freshness (2.0 to 7.8%) and polyphenol content (0.09 to 2.20 μg GAE/100 g product). All samples show specific positive characteristics, well defined, without defects, with a total acceptability of 4.54 - 4.88. The samples with 2% and 4% BWF show better quality indicators, therefore they can be recommended to consumers as products with high nutritional value

    OPTICAL PROPERTIES OF HgGaInS4 CRYSTALS

    Luminescence, transmission, reflection, and wavelength modulation transmission and wavelength modulation reflection spectra of HgGaInS4 crystals were researched in the temperature range of 300-10 K. This article discusses the various features observed in the spectra of HgGaInS4 crystals. The dependence on temperature of the energy gap is shown. Spectra of wavelength modulation transmission have minima a1, a2, and a3, which vary with temperature and are caused by indirect transitions L-Г with phonon absorption and emission. Spectra of thicker crystals have more features caused by the same indirect transitions. The photoluminescence show a strong maximum at 2.43 eV, attributed to radiative recombination of free excitons. These various features have significant implications for the understanding of the electronic and optical properties of HgGaInS4 crystals

    QUALITY ASSESSMENT OF THE TOFFEE WITH SWEETENERS AND DYE FROM WALNUT SEPTUM OR KERNEL’S PELLICLE

    Reduction of “bad” carbohydrates in sweets is a complex issue, because carbohydrates provide important sensory, physical and textural properties of food. This research illustrated the possible use of the colorant Brown 7 (0.6...1.0%) in combination with sucralose and isomalt for alerting the functional quality of toffee candies. Sensory and physicochemical properties, microbiological indicators and color parameters were analyzed for four samples of toffee. The combination of sweetener with anti-crystallizer and Brown 7 significantly improves the color of toffees. It was established by HPLC that during thermal processing the Casuarictin from Brown 7 transforms into Ellagic acid. These transformations lead to an increase in the intensity of the brown color in the toffee. The addition of Brown 7 contributes to the decrease of titratable acidity from 0.28 ± 0.08 in the control to 0.21 ± 0.06 degrees of acidity in the sample which contain 1.0% dye. The chromatic parameters L*, a*, b* of the toffee sample with 0.6% Brown 7 content are the closest to the classic toffee parameters. Use of colorant in combination with sweetener illustrates a potential synergy of sensorial properties. This help to increase the intake of natural bioactive compounds and to decrease carbohydrates in sweets, promising health benefits

    This paper explores the concept of Decentralized Autonomous Society through the lens of Large Language Models focusing on the transformative potential of integrating these technologies. The paper on the role of Large Language Models based agents in providing a versatile, responsive, and contextually intelligent resource within a Decentralized Autonomous Society, fostering intellectual exploration, assisting in complex tasks, and aiding real-time problem solving. One delves into their integration with Decentralized Autonomous Society infrastructures, including robotic and automated systems. While promising, the integration of Large Language Models and their agents into a Decentralized Autonomous Society poses several challenges, including infrastructure and connectivity limitations, information accuracy, artificial intelligence bias, privacy and data security, and ethical concerns. This paper critically discusses these issues and proposes potential solutions. Through the lens of the Decentralized Autonomous Society construct, the paper considers the future possibilities and implications of artificial intelligence, where self-sustaining, digitally-empowered communities leverage artificial intelligence as a cornerstone of their collective intelligence

    The article analyzes the phenomenon of human and social aging, in an attempt to answer several questions related to social evolution. What principles should govern the relationship between the individual and society, and how far do our obligations to others extend? To what extent should the state intervene in market regulation? How does social change happen and how can the law ensure that everyone has a voice? The distinction between traditional rural communities and modern industrialized society is analyzed through the lens of Ferdinand Tönnies theory (German sociologist and philosopher, 26.07.1855 - 09.04.1936), wich points out what the distinction between traditional rural communities and modern industrialized society. The former are community that is based on the bonds of family and social groups such as the church. Small-scale communities tend to have common goals and beliefs, and interactions within them are based on trust and cooperation. Tönnies’ theory, along with his work on methodology, paved the way for 20th-century sociology

    PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND GOVERNANCE IN AFRICAN PERSPECTIVES: CHALLENGES AND RECOMMENDATIONS

    The democratic transition on the African continent has been accompanied by problems of poor governance, poor administration, third terms and centralized power, electoral administration conundrums, and corruption. This paper examines the overarching problems in Africa, including electoral challenges, the third term and centralization of power, societal, social, and economic governance, and the death of ethics. This is a desktop study, also known as a conceptual study, that is based on Asante's Afrocentricity Theory, which provides pedagogical thinking about power, dominance, racism, and the need to escape victimization. The findings of the article reveal that many African countries, including South Africa, Zimbabwe, Uganda, and Nigeria, face significant challenges due to poor governance and maladministration. The paper concludes by stating that to address the challenge of poor governance and maladministration in African countries, a multifaceted approach is necessary. One potential innovative solution is to increase transparency and accountability in government institutions using technology and data-driven decision-making. This could involve the implementation of digital systems for monitoring and reporting on government activities as well as the creation of independent oversight committees to ensure public officials are held accountable for their actions
