No full textEste trabalho discute alguns aspectos da Filarmônica São José, observando sua importância para a vida dos músicos que a compõem e para o município de Pojuca – BA, localizado à 70km da capital baiana, Salvador. Analisamos o processo de criação da Filarmônica,procurando compreender como ela se manteve ativa ao longo do tempo da sua existência (1959 – 2024) participando das apresentações em eventos locais e mesmo em outros municípios. Buscamos conhecer o histórico da sua formação e evolução,refletindo como se deu o processo de aquisição dos instrumentos e a forma de inserção dos alunos/músicos nesta Sociedade Beneficente. A metodologia utilizada para realizar este trabalho está baseada no uso das fontes documentais e orais.This study discusses some aspects of the São José Philharmonic, highlighting its importance to the lives of the musicians who compose it and to the municipality of Pojuca – BA, located 70 km from the Bahian capital, Salvador. We analyze the process of the Philharmonic’s creation, seeking to understand how it has remained active throughout its existence (1959 – 2024), participating in performances at local events and even in other municipalities. We aim to explore its formation and evolution, reflecting on how the acquisition of instruments took place and how students/musicians were integrated into this Beneficent Society. Between genders and identities: an analysis of funerary trousseaus from the perspective of the archeology of gender and sexuality.
No full textO trabalho tem como finalidade examinar como os enxovais funerários são interpretados pela arqueologia tradicional, frequentemente a partir de perspectivas cisheteronormativas. A pesquisa questiona a vinculação automática entre sexo biológico, gênero e normas sociais, propondo uma análise que considere as pluralidades e transgressões de identidades de gênero e sexualidade. Através de uma revisão bibliográfica, o estudo busca compreender como os objetos funerários refletem construções sociais e simbólicas relacionadas ao gênero.The purpose of this study is to examine how funerary goods are interpreted by traditional archaeology, often from cisheteronormative perspectives. The research challenges the automatic connection between biological sex, gender, and social norms, proposing na analysis that considers the pluralities and transgressions of gender and sexuality identities. Letters of freedom from the 19th century: a philological study of manuscripts from Itaberaba
No full textO presente trabalho traz um estudo de abordagem qualitativa e de base documental, pautado na área da Filologia, para a análise e edições de manuscritos. O corpus selecionado para este estudo se encontra no Arquivo Público Municipal de Itaberaba-BA, tratando-se de um documento notarial, datado de 1867 a 1877, mais precisamente, um Livro de Notas e Registros de Tabelionato. Neste livro estão escritos alguns gêneros textuais/discursivos, dentre eles, cartas de alforria e escrituras de compra e venda de terras e de pessoas escravizadas. Com o intuito de conhecer e preservar o manuscrito e, consequentemente, a história e a língua itaberabenses, nos pautamos nos preceitos filológicos para realizar a análise e edições (fac-similar e semidiplomática) do corpus, bem como uma descrição codicológica e um levantamento de abreviaturas de 4 Cartas de Alforria e o Termos de Abertura constantes no livro. O trabalho de cunho filológico se baseia nas reflexões de Cambraia (2005), Queiroz (2005) e Santana (2012), entre outros, e busca descrever, analisar e editar cuidadosamente este material. Para o desdobramento e levantamento de abreviaturas, nos pautamos nos estudos de Flexor (2008) e Costa (2006). No que tange à contextualização histórica da cidade e, consequentemente do documento, nos amparamos em Brandão (2009) e Souza Junior (2015). Para discutirmos o gênero carta de alforria, utilizamos Silva (2021). Este tipo de pesquisa visa contribuir para o conhecimento e preservação das documentações históricas de Itaberaba-BA, bem como para fomentar discussão sobre assuntos referentes a pessoas consideradas historicamente periféricas, como por exemplo, pessoas escravizadas, ou ainda, a serviço de estudos linguísticos, históricos, culturais, entre outros.This paper is a qualitative, document-based study, based on the field of Philology, for the analysis and editing of manuscripts. The corpus selected for this study is in the Municipal Public Archive of Itaberaba-BA, and is a notarial document dating from 1867 to 1877, more precisely, a Book of Notaries and Notary Registers. This book contains a number of textual/discursive genres, including letters of release and deeds of purchase and sale of land and enslaved people. In order to get to know and preserve the manuscript and, consequently, the history and language of Itauberabense, we used philological precepts to carry out the analysis and editions (facsimile and semi-diplomatic) of the corpus, as well as a codicological description and a survey of abbreviations of 4 Letters of Alforria and the Terms of Opening contained in the book. The philological work is based on the reflections of Cambraia (2005), Queiroz (2005) and Santana (2012), among others, and seeks to carefully describe, analyze and edit this material. For the breakdown and survey of abbreviations, we used the studies of Flexor (2008) and Costa (2006). With regard to the historical context of the city and, consequently, the document, we used Brandão (2009) and Souza Junior (2015). We used Silva (2021) to discuss the genre of letters of apprenticeship. This type of research aims to contribute to the knowledge and preservation of historical documents from Itaberaba-BA, as well as to encourage discussion on issues relating to people considered historically peripheral, such as enslaved people, or even to serve linguistic, historical and cultural studies, among others
THE PATH OF FAITH: The formation of sociability networks among the members of the Assembly of God in the town of Santa Rosa (1992-2012)

Deus no povoado de Santa Rosa, situado no município de Conceição do Coité/BA,
durante os anos de 1992 a 2012. Para tanto aborda as representações de mundo
construídas pelo grupo, baseadas nos significados atrelados às suas crenças. As questões
pontuais levantadas foram a organização assembleiana em torno dos usos e costumes
que contribuíram para a formação identitária do grupo, a constante vigilância a que os
membros estão sujeitos e as disputas no interior do campo religioso. Estudar uma
denominação local possibilitou entender, a partir das relações sociais, uma coletividade
de pessoas que estão unidas através de crenças em comum, compartilhando
experiências, práticas e rituais. Por outro lado, constatou-se a existência de
questionamentos sobre as regras comportamentais da igreja por parte dos fieis
impulsionando modificações na Assembléia de Deus.This paper analyzes the social relations woven between the members of the Assembly
of God in the village of Santa Rosa, located in the city of Conceição do Coité / BA,
during the period of 1992 to 2012. To address both representations of the world built by
the group, based on the meanings linked to their beliefs. The specific questions were
raised about the Assembly of God organization customs and practices that contributed
to the formation of group identity, the constant surveillance that members are subject

From AM to algorithm: an experience report on the platformization of radio in the countryside
No full textEste trabalho aborda a plataformização da rádio a partir do relato de experiência do seu autor, destaca elementos práticos e teóricos dos estudos da comunicação, plataformização e regionalização da radiodifusão, partindo da inserção no mercado da comunicação no município de Jacobina-BA entre 2020 e 2023 com o objetivo de descrever o rádio e suas interfaces com a Internet. Nesta perspectiva, leva-se em conta aspectos de vida profissional como influenciador digital e comunicador em seu primeiro contato ativo com o rádio. Foi feita uma revisão bibliográfica e qualitativa que sustentou o relato de experiência, considerando a realidade sociocultural da temática em diálogo com seus interlocutores ao longo dos últimos 04 anos, o que possibilitou a produção de 21 programas, com foco em 03 programas. Por fim, concluiu-se que, o rádio deixa de ser algo efêmero, possibilitando que os programas sejam revisitados, tornando-os mais acessíveis e abrangendo novos públicos, além de mantê-lo competitivo em um cenário dominado por serviços de streaming.This study addresses the platformization of radio through the author's experiential account, highlighting practical and theoretical elements from communication studies, platformization, and regionalization of broadcasting, starting from the insertion in the communication market in the municipality of Jacobina, BA, between 2020 and 2023, aiming to describe radio and its interfaces with the Internet. In this context, the study considers professional experiences as a digital influencer and communicator during the author's initial active contact with radio. A bibliographic and qualitative review was carried out that supported the experience report, considering the sociocultural reality of the theme in dialogue with its interlocutors over the last 4 years, which enabled the production of 21 programs, focusing on 03 programs. Ultimately, the study concludes that radio ceases to be ephemeral, enabling programs to be revisited, making them more accessible and reaching new audiences, as well as keeping it competitive in a scenario dominated by streaming services
Federação Bahiana pelo Progresso Feminino: uma análise política de gênero, raça e classe em terras soteropolitanas.
No full textO Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso se localiza no campo da História Social, tendo como objeto mulheres baianas que atuaram na Federação Bahiana pelo Progresso Feminino. A pesquisa se propõe apresentar reflexões críticas sobre o cenário das reivindicações femininas pelo direito ao voto, na cidade de Salvador (Bahia), por intermédio do coletivo supracitado. No Brasil, esta pauta teve início através das chamadas “sufragistas”, grupo formado por mulheres que ansiavam pelo direito ao voto universal, ou seja, pela aquiescência da inserção da categoria “mulheres” nos documentos oficiais estatais para que lhes fosse garantido na legislação o direito ao voto e a serem votadas. Utiliza-se como fonte as cartas produzidas por lideranças femininas baianas com a Federação Brasileira Pelo Progresso Feminino (FBPF)
The challenges for practical environmental education activities in high school in Barreiras
No full textA Educação Ambiental (EA), devido ao processo socioeconômico, histórico e cultural pelo qual o ser humano se apropriou dos bens da natureza, foi evidenciada como uma estratégia para o entendimento crítico e reflexivo dos problemas ambientais. Sua prática no espaço formal requer uma estruturação dos conteúdos curriculares, de modo que seja trabalhada de forma dialogada entre o professor e o aluno e adequada ao contexto em que a escola está inserida. De modo geral, o objetivo desse estudo foi discutir as práticas da Educação Ambiental no ensino médio da Rede de Educação do Estado em Barreiras e de modo específico: identificar a estrutura fornecida pela instituição escolar, relacionar as práticas de EA com as legislações e programas elaborados por instituições transnacionais como a ONU, o MEC e o Governo do Estado da Bahia, as dificuldades enfrentadas para realização das práticas e como os docentes trabalham EA na escola. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva com abordagem quanti-qualitativa viabilizada por meio do método estatístico e posterior interpretação dos dados, onde o público-alvo foi o professorado de duas escolas da educação básica do Estado da Bahia. Para coleta de dados, foi realizado um questionário online, os dados obtidos compilados no Microsoft Excel e as análises e testes estatísticos foram feitos nos Softwares SPSS, BioEstat, SigmaPlot e o R-Studio em combinação com a intepretação desses dados a fim de obter conclusões mais assertivas. Os resultados demonstram que boa parte dos professores realizam práticas de EA, sendo que as mais recorrentes são os conteúdos em sala de aula, projetos e eventos promovidos pela escola. Dentre as dificuldades apontadas, a mais recorrentes são a de interdisciplinar o conteúdo com outros professores, falta de recursos didáticos e falta de tempo (carga horária excessiva). Dentre as atividades realizadas as mais frequente são os conteúdos em sala de aula, projetos desenvolvidos e eventos, indicando um contato mais efetivo com o ambiente além da sala de aula. Além do mais, faz-se necessário melhorar a formação continuada para esses professores, haja vista que, é um trabalho indispensável para a efetiva atividade de EA emancipatória na escola.Environmental education (EE), due to the socioeconomic, historical, and cultural process by which human beings appropriated the goods of nature, was highlighted as a strategy for the critical and reflective understanding of environmental problems. Its practice in the formal space requires a structuring of the curricular contents so that it is worked on in a dialogic way between the teacher and the student and adapted to the context in which the school is inserted. In general, the objective of this study was to discuss the practices of environmental education in high schools of the State Education Network in Barreiras and, specifically: to identify the structure provided by the school institution, to relate the EE practices with the legislation and programs developed by transnational institutions such as the UN, the MEC, and the Government of the State of Bahia, the difficulties faced in carrying out the practices, and how teachers work EE in the school. This is descriptive research with a quantitative-qualitative approach made possible by the statistical method and subsequent interpretation of the data, where the target audience was the teachers of two basic education schools in the State of Bahia. To collect data, an online questionnaire was conducted, the data obtained were compiled in Microsoft Excel, and statistical analyses and tests were performed in the SPSS, BioEstat, SigmaPlot, and R-Studio software in combination with the interpretation of these data to obtain more assertive conclusions. The results demonstrate that a large number of teachers carry out EE practices, the most frequent of which are classroom content, projects, and events promoted by the school. Among the difficulties pointed out, the most frequent are interdisciplinary content with other teachers, lack of teaching resources, and lack of time (excessive workload). Among the activities carried out, the most frequent are classroom content, developed projects, and events, indicating a more effective contact with the environment beyond the classroom. Furthermore, it is necessary to improve continuing education for these teachers, since it is indispensable work for the effective emancipatory EE activity in the school
Alfabetização e letramento: desafios vivenciados na escola municipal Paulo Freire - Itaberaba, Bahia
No full textO presente artigo tem como objetivo identificar e analisar os principais desafios enfrentados no processo de alfabetização e letramento nos anos iniciais da Escola Municipal Paulo Freire, em Itaberaba – BA. Para isso, realizou-se uma pesquisa de natureza teórica e empírica, fundamentada nos estudos de Magda Soares, Paulo Freire, Miriam Lemle, Corinne Smith e Lisa Strick. O método utilizado caracteriza-se como qualitativo, de natureza descritiva e exploratória. Foram realizadas observações diretas durante cinco dias em duas turmas da escola, além da aplicação de questionários a duas professoras regentes do componente curricular de Língua Portuguesa e uma entrevista com a coordenadora pedagógica. Os dados coletados foram analisados qualitativamente, com foco na compreensão dos desafios enfrentados no ensino de leitura e escrita. Os resultados apontam que a maioria das atividades propostas pelas professoras ainda prioriza pouco a leitura em sala de aula, tratando textos como ferramentas complementares e não como um eixo central para o ensino e aprendizagem. Destaca-se a necessidade de uma abordagem que compreenda a leitura como elemento essencial para a autonomia das crianças, ampliando seus horizontes e possibilitando melhores níveis de letramento para o convívio social. Entre as dificuldades observadas nas turmas, identificaram-se: baixa capacidade de decodificação de palavras, dificuldades de compreensão da linguagem, pouca habilidade para leitura e escrita, problemas na pronúncia correta e escassa participação da família no processo de alfabetização. Os dados reforçam a importância de estratégias pedagógicas que articulem práticas inovadoras em sala de aula com ações que envolvam as famílias, criando um ambiente mais favorável ao desenvolvimento integral dos estudantes.The aim of this article is to identify and analyze the main challenges faced in the literacy and literacy process in the early years of the Paulo Freire Municipal School, in Itaberaba - BA. To this end, theoretical and empirical research was carried out, based on the studies of Magda Soares, Paulo Freire, Miriam Lemle, Corinne Smith and Lisa Strick. The method used was qualitative, descriptive and exploratory. Direct observations were carried out over five days in two classes at the school, as well as questionnaires to two teachers who teach Portuguese and an interview with the pedagogical coordinator. The data collected was analyzed qualitatively, with a focus on understanding the challenges faced in teaching reading and writing. The results show that most of the activities proposed by the teachers still give little priority to reading in the classroom, treating texts as complementary tools and not as a central axis for teaching and learning. This highlights the need for an approach that understands reading as an essential element for children's autonomy, broadening their horizons and enabling better levels of literacy for social interaction. Among the difficulties observed in the classes, the following were identified: low ability to decode words, difficulties understanding language, poor reading and writing skills, problems with correct pronunciation and little family participation in the literacy process. The data reinforces the importance of pedagogical strategies that combine innovative practices in the classroom with actions that involve families, creating a more favorable environment for students' all-round development
Paulo Afonso's wall - a look through the archeology of architecture
No full textO atual trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar o muro de Paulo Afonso sob o olhar da perspectiva da arqueologia da arquitetura. Para compreender a estrutura do muro e suas repercussões com uma segregação espacial e social, foi buscado aprofundar os estudos sobre a arqueologia da arquitetura enquanto disciplina, entendido que a mesma indaga compreender os aspectos básico das estruturas e principalmente os impactos sociais e econômicos, relacionado ao uso da mesma como ferramentas de poder, verifica-se que a investigação sobre o muro da região de Paulo Afonso é um exemplo clássico de como estruturas físicas quando usadas tendenciosamente, moldam uma sociedade por gerações, o trabalho evidencia a chegada da companhia hidrelétrica do rio São Francisco em Paulo Afonso e seus primeiros passos para a criação da cidade. A sua implementação no Nordeste foi considerada um marco gigante para o crescimento da economia e povoamento de várias regiões, apesar que por outro lado o empreendimento imponente causou para algumas cidades desconforto, em Paulo Afonso seus impactos destrutivos no âmbito social foram igualmente significativos quanto suas vantagens econômicas.The current work aims to present the Paulo Afonso wall from the perspective of architectural archaeology. In order to understand the structure of the wall and its repercussions with spatial and social segregation, we sought to deepen the studies on architectural archaeology as a discipline, understanding that it seeks to understand the basic aspects of structures and mainly the social and economic impacts, related to their use as tools of power. It is clear that the investigation on the wall of the Paulo Afonso region is a classic example of how physical structures, when used biasedly, shape a society for generations. The work highlights the arrival of the São Francisco River hydroelectric company in Paulo Afonso and its first steps towards the creation of the city. Its implementation in the northeast was considered a huge milestone for the growth of the economy and settlement of several regions, although on the other hand the imposing enterprise caused discomfort for some cities. In Paulo Afonso its destructive impacts on the social sphere were equally significant asits economic advantages.
