    Berjalan merupakan salah satu gerak tubuh yang sehari-hari dilakukan oleh manusia, walaupun gerakan ini terlihat begitu sederhana yakni hanya dengan melangkahkan kaki namun untuk melakukan langkah demi langkah seluruh parameter- parameter yang ada saling bekerja sama menghasilkan gerakan yang cukup kompleks. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, analisis gerak kini telah menggunakan berbagai perangkat teknologi guna mendapatkan model-model yang nantinya dapat digunakan dalam berbagai bidang penerapannya. Posisi menopang (stance) dan posisi mengayun (swing) pada saat berjalan akan terus dilakukan berulang kali hingga subjek mencapai posisi yang diinginkan disebut siklus gaya berjalan (gait cycle). Analisis siklus berjalan mulai dari fase intial condition hingga terminal wing berguna untuk mengenali pola gerak berjalan normal dan mengidentifikasi gaya berjalan manusia (Gait Recognition) Pengembangan model gerak berdasarkan proses ekstraksi yang digunakan untuk mengkombinasi dua struktural dan datanya dianalisa untuk kemampuan recognition. Hirarki bentuk dan gerak diperlukan untuk menghasilkan komputasi yang relatif sederhana, yang mana batasan anatomi dalam hirarki tersebut digunakan untuk mengekstraksi parameter bagian tubuh yang tetap. Rata-rata data gaya berjalan digunakan untuk membuat rancangan model gerak gaya berjalan, yang disesuaikan untuk mencocokkan ke masing-masing subjek. Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah dengan mengevaluasi database gaya berjalan yang besar, yang terdiri dari 4824 urutan dari 115 subjek yang ada, dengan menunjukkan ekstraksi gaya berjalan dan kemampuan deskripsi di laboratorium dan pengambilan di kondisi dunia nyata. Hasil dari analisis statistik parameter ekstraksi gaya berjalan, menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar potensi pengenalan terletak pada parameter-parameter bentuk statik (tetap) dan frekuensi gaya berjalan (irama)

    Enumerating Hamiltonian Cycles in A 2-connected Regular Graph Using Planar Cycle Bases

    Planar fundamental cycle basis belong to a 2-connected simple graph is used for enumerating Hamiltonian cycles contained in the graph. This is because a fun- damental cycle basis is easily constructed. Planar basis is chosen since it has a weighted induced graph whose values are limited to 1. Hence making it is possible to be used in the Hamiltonian cycle enumeration procedures efficiently. In this paper a Hamiltonian cycle enumeration scheme is obtained through two stages. Firstly, i cycles out of m bases cycles are determined using an appropriate con- structed constraint. Secondly, to search all Hamiltonian cycles which are formed by the combination of i basis cycles obtained in the first stage efficiently. This ef- ficiency is achieved through the generation of a class of objects consisting of Ill-bit binary strings which is a representation of i cycle combinations between m cycle basis cycle

    Comparative Study of Intelligent Personal Assistant

    When Apple, Inc. launched iPhone 4S on late 2011, one of its point of interest is the new built-in personal assistant application called Siri (Speech Interpretation and Recognition Interface). The application has the ability to answer questions, make recommendations, and perform actions as a response for its user’s voice input using natural language processing. Siri gets favorable reception though it still has some shortcomings such as limited functionality when used outside United States and trouble understanding English with accent. Currently, Siri is only available for iPhone 4s. While there is a chance that Apple’s other mobile device (older iPhone, iPad and iPod) will get Siri in the future, it is very unlikely that it will be opened to another mobile operating system. Since Google’s Android is holding more than half smartphone market in the world as for 2011, we feel the need to find similar application to Siri for Android devices. There are several personal assistant applications using natural language processing available in Google’s Play Store. Top three of the application will be compared in this paper to assess their ability as personal assistant, as same as like Siri for iPhone 4S. They are Iris, Skyvi, and Speaktoit’s Assistant as they have the highest install count, 5 stars rating, and average rating in Play Store. These applications will be tested for its features for input and output correctness, ability to understand questions or command outside their embedded input structure. Some tests will be embedded to provide user scientific reference to determine the best application similar to iPhone’s Siri for Android devices. Based on the test’s results, Speaktoit’s Assistant comes in the first place. It managed to pass all tests with 100% score, beating Skyvi and Iris with 70% and 63.33% score respectively. But still, all the tested applications have much homework to be able to compete with Sir

    Penggunaan Smartphone sekarang ini lebih banyak di pakai, Hal ini terjadi dikarenakan para pengguna smartphone lebih mengutamakan gadget yang mampu mengerjakan beberapa dan banyak tugas sekaligus, yang lebih sering di sebut dengan multitasking. Dibalik kemudahan - kemudahan multitasking tersebut, temyata masih terdapat kendala-kendala yang di temukan yang dapat menurunkan performa smartphone itu sendiri dan tidak jarang beberapa smartphone tersebut "lag" dan harus di Hard Reset agar smartphone tersebut kembali bekerja. Masalah pada multitasking sendiri perlu di tinjau lebih dalam dan di lakukan penelitian agar di ketahui penyebab-penyebab yang membuat kinerja smartphone dalam melakukan multitasking menjadi tidak maksimal. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan membandingkan kedua smartphone tersebut dalarna melakukan multitasking secara bersamaan dan kemudian membandingkan penggunaan memory usage, time waiting, dan supply usage

    Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi penolakan pengguna terhadap teknologi yang akan diterapkan adalah dengan membangun dua persepsi positif yaitu terhadap manfaatlkegunaan serta kemudahan menggunakan teknologi. Banyaknya model penelitian mengakibatkan perbedaan sudut pandang mengenai penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam sebuah instansi. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) merupakan model penelitian yang paling banyak digunakan pada analisis proses adopsi teknologi informasi.Penelitian dilakukan di Rumah Sakit X (RS X) yang telah menerapkan sistem informasi (SIM RS), namun penggunaannya belum optimal. Analisis terhadap penggunaan SIM RS dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dengan melibatkan faktor persepsi manfaat dan persepsi kemudahan. Dalam analisis yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa SIM RS belum dimanfaatkan dengan optimal. Hal ini salah satunya disebabkan oleh kurangnya kemauan pengguna (pegawai Rumah Sakit X) dalam memanfaatkan SIM RS dalam membantu operasional pekerjaannya sehari-hari. Dengan analisis yang dilakukan, perlu dirancang sebuah model yang dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dalam meningkatkan penggunaan SIM RS X ini, sehingga adanya teknologi informasi tidak membuat pengguna menjadi lebih sulit dalam melaksanakan pekerjaannya

    DEVELOPING GREEN OPEN SPACE IN URBAN RESIDENTIAL AREAS THROUGH COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION APPROACH

    The increase of urban population is closely interconnected to the demand for living spaces that accommodate various urban activities. When the balance between the need for, and the availability of such spaces is disturbed, unlivable spaces are generated which would eventually downgrade the quality of urban environment. Bearing in mind the increasing clamor over global warming during the last two decades, urban planners should carefully anticipate the issue and put their focus on, and even provoke the creation of sustainable green space development, including the creation of open green urban spaces. Accommodating the aspirations and participation of citizens, through the application of the development principle based on "from, by and for them", becomes a most import ant part of the strategy to achieve sustainable development patterns. The worsening environmental deterioration due to the stakeholders becoming unheedful about the issue should be taken into serious consideration. In the study, observations have been conducted in a descriptive manner by using a non randomized experimental design using control at three neighborhoods in West Jakarta, with one of them being the controller. It showed that after the first 6 months, the application of green environment approach in the neighborhoods was maintained through self-help and communal actions. Community organizations that have been established on the spirit of mutual cooperation becomes determinative for the success of such sustainable pattern; the sustainability would in phases also improve the people's economy and their social interaction. The involvement of local governments, the private sector and the community would also greatly influence the creation of sustainable green development pattern, and should continuously be evaluated and improved for replications in other locations in an ever perfect process
