ПРАВОВАЯ ОХРАНА ОБЪЕКТОВ ПРАВА ИНТЕЛЛЕКТУАЛЬНОЙ СОБСТВЕННОСТИ В СФЕРЕ ИНФОРМАЦИОННЫХ ТЕХНОЛОГИЙ
Актуальность темы магистерской диссертации состоит в том, что в настоящее время в Республике Казахстан отсутствуют эффективные способы правовой охраны объектов права интеллектуальной собственности в сфере информационной технологий. Таким образом объекты права интеллектуальной собственности в сфере информационных технологий нуждаются в обширном исследовании и обеспечении со стороны государства правовой охраны в сфере информационных технологий.
Нужно отметить тот факт, что до сегодняшнего времени очень мало или даже отсутствуют труды казахстанских ученых-правоведов на тему охраны прав объектов интеллектуальной собственности в сфере информационных технологий. Возможно, это обусловлено тем, что в Казахстане медленно развивается сфера информационных технологий
Automated Reading Detection in an Online Exam
In this article we study a deep learning-based reading detection problem in an online exam proctoring. Pandemia-related restrictions and lockdowns lead many educational institutions to go online learning environment. It brought the exam integrity challenge to an online test-taking process. While various commercial exam proctoring solutions were developed, the online proctoring challenge is far from being fully addressed. This article is devoted to making a contribution to the exam proctoring system by proposing an automated test-taker reading detection method. To this end, we obtain our own dataset of short video clips that resemble a real online examination environment and different video augmentation methods utilized to increase the training dataset. Two different deep learning techniques are adapted for training. The experiments show quite satisfactory results with model accuracy varying from 98.46% to 100%. The findings of the article can help educational institutions to improve their online exam proctoring solutions, especially in language speaking tests
Recognition of basic hand gestures on a horizontal surface using a single camera
The horizontal hand gesture recognition is an innovative, cheaper way for human-computer interaction. Currently, most researchers work with sensors, devices for hand gesture recognition, which require more resources. Instead, the presented horizontal method for hand gesture signal recognition by frames. A key element of this work is the research of a recognition algorithm using only a single camera. In the presented framework, the hand detection works as a converting BGR image to RGB before processing. Then, the palm and fingers are segmented so as to detect and recognize the fingers. There are handedness and hand landmarks on the image as a result of a hand detection. Each point of the landmark has coordination x, y, z values. There is a comparison algorithm of points to recognize hand gestures by fingers. The model has been implemented by getting landmark values on a data set of hand images, which are collected from video frames. In the presented framework, the hand detection works with computer vision (CV) algorithms, in general MediaPipe as a converting blue, green, red (BGR) image to red, green, blue (RGB) before processing. There are handedness and hand landmarks on the image as a result of a hand detection. Each point of the landmark has coordination x, y, z values. The performance of the method highly depends on the result of hand detection on the horizontal surface and collected dataset
Weather-induced flight delay prediction using Machine Learning
Many businesses depend on different airlines to link them to other parts of the world, and the aviation industry today plays a crucial role in the global transportation sector. Extreme weather, on the other hand, might cause flight delays, which can have a direct influence on airline services. To solve this issue, accurately projecting flight delays enables passengers to be well prepared for their journey’s interruption and allows airlines to react to anticipated causes of flight delays ahead of time, decreasing the variety of consequences. As a consequence, airlines and experts are focusing their efforts on cutting down on flight delays. It is vital to predict flight delays in order to reduce aircraft delays. Establishing a reliable and accurate flight delay prediction system may provide decision-makers with a clear path to make effective scheduling choices. Weather is the most common reason for aircraft delays, and subsequently it is linked to other categories. The NaS type, for example, might include delays caused by fly rerouting due to bad weather. Late-arriving aircraft is also influenced by weather, but airlines do not define the reasons as weather. When these factors are taken into consideration, over 40% of late minutes are accounted for by this factor. as a result, assessing the impact of bad weather on carrier delays is critical for smooth flight operations
ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЕ СТРАТЕГИИ ЧТЕНИЯ КАЗАХСТАНСКИМИ УЧЕНИКАМИ, ИЗУЧАЮЩИМИ АНГЛИЙСКИЙ ЯЗЫК КАК ИНОСТРАННЫЙ ЯЗЫК
Аннотация Понимание прочитанного рассматривается как основа обучения в различных учебных программах для развития словарного запаса, письма, грамматики, общих языковых курсов. Поэтому преподаватели иностранных языков должны обучать студентов стратегиям, которые они могут использовать для улучшения своих навыков. В этой статье дается общий обзор того, как учащиеся регулируют стратегии обучения. В нем исследуется использование стратегий чтения, разъясняются стратегии как высокочастотного, так и низкочастотного использования, а также обсуждаются их последствия для преподавания в классе. Данные были собраны с помощью вопросника, который включал 40 вопросов Лайкерта по пятибалльной шкале, и участников попросили обвести по шкале от "Никогда" (1) до "Всегда" (5), в зависимости от их положения. Результаты показывают, что среднее использование стратегии студентами находится в среднем диапазоне, что указывает на то, что они не являются постоянными пользователями стратегии. Вывод исследования заключается в том, что стратегии обучения чтению должны уделять больше внимания учителям и разработчикам учебных программ. Результаты исследования могут быть полезны для информирования учителей иностранных языков о преимуществах обучения, основанного на стратегии, и о том, насколько это может быть полезно для обучения языковым навыкам, особенно навыкам чтения

TEACHING STUDENTS TO SOLVE PROBLEMS THEORY OF PROBABILITY AND MATHEMATICAL STATISTICS
Abstract Nowadays, probabilistic-statistical methods are now used in a wide range of disciplines, including physics, chemistry, pedagogy, psychology, linguistics, archeology, and geology, as well as probability theory in medicine and biology, military science and cosmonautics, linguistics, psychology, and teaching theory. Citizens have to overcome their deterministic thinking and recognize the existence of fundamental randomness in nature in order to perform effectively in society. Simultaneously, individuals should learn tactics and methods of reasoning that will assist in making appropriate judgments in everyday and professional circumstances involving risk. The importance of probability literacy has been acknowledged by educators in many nations by including teaching probability and mathematical statistics at various levels of education. The main purpose of this research is to build theoretical foundations for teaching probability and statistics in secondary school that are appropriate for their broad educational value, and to discover how to apply them in middle school mathematics classes
