EFFECT OF PROCTORING SYSTEM DURING ONLINE EDUCATION
Abstract The unexpected emergence of Covid-19, as well as the accelerated transition of all students to online education, caused significant disruption for both students and faculty. Overinflated grades as a result of academic dishonesty are one of these issues. Instructors were recommended to use a proctoring system in order to reduce the number of cases of improper behavior. The goal of this study is to compare the results obtained by 4 consecutive tests that were conducted on an online platform, where the first 2 were conducted without a proctoring system, and the next 2 with a proctoring system. The results of 352 students showed that the usage of the proctoring system has led to lower test scores, longer test completion times, and greater test score variances on exams
Factors affecting labor intention to leave: in the case study of Suleyman Demirel University
This is one of the few studies on human resource management in higher education institutions, not only in the Republic of Kazakhstan, but on a global scale as well. One of the most important objectives for many organizations is to attract, hire, and retain highly qualified personnel. Considering the scarcity of employees in the labor market of the country, whose universities rely on their teaching staff as their primary source of human capital, the retention of personnel is a top priority. Using one of the Kazakh universities as a case analysis, the purpose of this research is to identify the most important factors influencing an employee's intention to leave. In order to accomplish this, the six main factors of an employee's intention to leave are analyzed in-depth: employees’ perseption of support, employees’ perseption of commitment, employees’ perseption of complexity, job engagement, job satisfaction, and the availability of alternative job opportunities. The results of the study can be used to reduce the percentage of layoffs and maintain a qualified staff at the university, as well as serve as a model for other universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan
GRADE PREDICTING SYSTEM
Abstract Nowadays, prediction of academic performance became necessary for educational entities and universities. As you know most higher educational institutions have a portal system that monitors academic performance. This is necessary in order to assist at-risk students and ensure their retention, as well as to provide exceptional learning resources and experiences, as well as to improve the university’s rating and reputation. Predictive analytics employed advanced analytics, including machine learning implementation, to improve achievement and to generate high-quality performance. As a result, the primary goal of this project is to demonstrate the feasibility of training and modeling on a small dataset size, as well as the feasibility of developing a prediction model with a credible accuracy rate. Using visualization and clustering algorithms, this study investigates the possibility of identifying the key indicators in the small dataset that will be used to create the prediction model

Gamification as an Educational Technology Tool in Motivating and Engaging Students in Process of E-learning
COVID-19 proved that our training programs were not ready to switch to a full-Hedged online format. At the same time, as is known, students had a reduced sense of motivation and involvement in the process of distance learning. World scientists propose the integration of gamification mechanics as one of the solutions to this urgent problem. However, not all of the proposed solutions are successfully implemented. User-oriented mechanics is considered the most. appropriate way to develop gamification techniques, although it requires a lot of information about the user. The researchers’ recommendations for describing a person’s pro- file are criticized due to extreme instability. Moreover, since gamification as a whole is still an insufficiently studied industry, there is practically no amount of local information. Therefore, in our research work, we considered the issue of developing gamification methods that could be effective for students in Kazakhstan. It was decided to propose developing gamification methods based on game preferences, and to do this, a list of the most popular games played by local players was determined. The information was obtained by studying scientific projects, analyzing the website “pinger.kz” and conducting a questionnaire. The students of the courses held on the Moodle e-learning platform were divided into groups according to their gaming preferences and analyzed using the software “Power BI”. The study identified “CS:GO", “Dota2", “PUBG’ and “FIFA” as the most popular online video games among Kazakh youngsters, and gamification methods based on these results were discussed. Despite the obvious limitations of this work due to the lack of a practical experiment, the necessary information was deleted and recommendations for future researchers were prepared
Implementation of strategic marketing management to improve the performance of company of Kazakhstan market place
The topic of effective enterprise development becomes particularly relevant in times of crisis, including after the ongoing pandemic that began in 2019 and has been affecting the global economy for three years. The pandemic has led to a significant deterioration in the main indicators of the solvency of enterprises, their reliability and efficiency. Enterprises of some industries, including the aviation, tourism and hospitality industries, assumed excessive risks for their core activities, which affected the efficiency of their functioning. The efficiency of an enterprise as a scientific category is represented in many scientific disciplines that study business problems in one way or another: marketing, management, strategic management, economics, personnel management, financial management. This study examines the impact of strategic marketing management on the company's efficiency, including in the post-crisis period, namely on the aviation industry company - Air Astana. The survey took place in March 2022 and 26 respondents took part in the interview, which consists of employees aged 23 to 55 years. The sample is divided into those respondents who are related to the airline's marketing department and those who work in other departments. This study is a marketing qualitative study that aims to study various factors of the external and internal environment of the enterprise. Content analysis makes it possible to take a broader approach to the study of a new phenomenon, one of which is the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the strategic marketing management of the company

Application of ROC Curve Analysis for Predicting Students’ Passing Grade in a Course Based on Prerequisite Grades
Determining prerequisite requirements is vital for successful curriculum development and student on-schedule completion of the course of study. This study adapts the Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve analysis to determine a threshold grade in a prerequisite course necessary for passing the next course in a sequence. This method was tested on a dataset of Calculus 1 and Calculus 2 grades of 164 undergraduate students majoring in mathematics at a private university in Kazakhstan. The results showed that while the currently used practice of setting prerequisite grade requirements is accurately identifying successful completions of Calculus 2, the ROC method is more accurate in identifying possible failures in Calculus 2. The findings also indicate that prior completion of Calculus 1 is positively associated with success in a Calculus 2 course. Thus, this study contributes to the field of mathematics education by providing a new data-driven methodology for determining the optimal threshold grade for mathematics prerequisite courses
Randomized and approximized algorithms
In modern times, as the number of websites expands, so does the volume of data. Automated apps that can scan and extract the essential information, process it, and save it in a user-friendly format are in high demand among users. These programs are called web scrapers. The immense popularity of these applications compels online service owners to take additional steps to decrease the number of bots in their Internet service traffic. If Web Services Protection identifies the user as a bot, the server will block the user entirely. The primary objective of this master’s thesis is to create a Node.js parser using the Selenium tool. In addition, in order to replicate human activities, our parser will utilize randomized algorithms. In this thesis, we will examine the work of server protection in greater detail; we will examine four common indicators by which the server identifies that the user is a parser, as well as the server’s methods for preventing bots. We will analyze how using the Selenium tool and the introduction of randomized algorithms will help us bypass the blocking from the server. To obtain the results, we will parse five subcategories of the chosen website and evaluate the stability of our software based on four parameters: the number of pages parsed, the amount of data processed, the total number of errors and blocks, and the rate of data parsing per unit of time. In order to do a qualitative analysis, we will compare these indicators using the same parser but without the application of randomized algorithms
Correcting text in morphologically rich languages
Currently, there is a tendency to increase the volume of documents containing complex text structures. Professional text proofreaders provide their services to correct errors in the text for not a small amount of money. A very large number of people every day around the world, who are closely connected with science or education, write a large volume of articles and, accordingly, each and all of them should be written without errors and in the correct version. In order to automate this process, it was necessary to develop an algorithm based on the methods of analysis and correction of the input text. For high-quality text synthesis, it is necessary to use machine learning technologies that require deep knowledge and understanding in this area. Among the many machine learning algorithms Hunspell algorithm seems to be one of the best to solve this issue. The essence of this algorithm is to bring all the words contained in the text to the original format. Thus, this work is based on multilevel segmentation of errors of Kazakh language text from the Internet or by manual user input. It is worth noting that due to technological progress, the main source of linguistic research is social networks, which is critical problem due to the dubious fidelity of texts. The this work was the formation and development of a spell-checking main purpose of ting Hunspell algorithm for algorithm for the Kazakh language based on the exis English.
