This study aims to describe the satisfaction of host companies to internship students toward their competencies and performance and suggest improvements to the internship program. The research subjects were students who were undertaking internships in 64 institutions in Malang areas, both in the business and industrial world. Research data are obtained from questionnaires. The results showed that the qualifications of the internship students were in the range of good to very good. These findings are following the expectations of host companies, which also recognize that the competencies of internship students are in line with their expectations and needs. However, some students worked less efficiently, so host companies are not really satisfied. According to the host companies, three things need to be improved: (1) the duration of the internship, (2) monitoring, and (3) student readiness. Regarding the length of the internship, host companies suggest that the internship program\u27s duration occupies at least three months. Host companies hope that the supervisors monitor all students who are apprenticed. Besides, the internship students should prepare in advance by giving them special provisions about the company\u27s product knowledge and related hard skills and soft skills needed in the future jobs. These findings suggest the universities, faculties, students, host companies to develop both of the experiences and satisfaction as possible

This article aims to analyze the frame of the government official statement in Mosque Christhurch Attack in New Zealand (March 2019) and Easter Sunday Attack in Sri Lanka (April 2019). The two cases were chosen because they place Muslim in contradictory positions: as victim in New Zealand and as perpetrator in Sri Lanka. This study uses framing analysis method to examine the official statement uploaded in the official websites of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka, within seven days after the incident. The data gathered from the text analysis is then followed by data triangulation using expert judgement technique. The result shows that there are differences in information content. The New Zealand government emphasizes their own actions in the country, while the Sri Lankan government focuses on the activities carried out abroad and the supports, they receive from other countries. In doing so, the New Zealand government highlights the presence of Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern while the Sri Lankan government presents information from many state officials, instead of the head of state. These differences show that the content of official statement is highly influenced by the socio-political condition in the country

Qualitative research, which involved 17 pre-clinical and clinical medical students as participants, was conducted to explore medical students\u27 perception about formal learning activities that encourage participation. The results were used to generate the items. A series of review processes, item reduction, revisions, and analysis generated 20 items in four factors, namely: engagement support, imagination support, convergence, and feedback. This shows that the instrument is multidimensional. The instrument also has good discriminant validity and composite reliability
