The role of social capital in the task force for preventing and handling sexual violence on campus
Higher education institutions are required to establish a Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (PPKS). The presence of the PPKS Task Force within the campus requires thorough preparation so that its existence can be accepted and beneficial. Therefore, this research aims to examine how social capital is utilized by PPKS Task Force to strengthen its presence. The concept of social capital in organizational management is used for analysis. Using a qualitative approach, data collection was conducted through interviews with the chairperson and members of PPKS Task Force in three campuses where the PPKS Task Force has been established for more than 6 months. The research findings indicate the existence of bonding social capital through the reinforcement of vision, mission, and shared perceptions among Task Force members, which serves as an initial step before engaging in other activities. Additionally, there is bridging social capital through trust and support from the campus’s internal stakeholders and related parties directly associated with the campus. Another crucial aspect is linking social capital through collaboration with external parties and various entities capable of providing support for PPKS Task Force activities and tasks
Adapting or resisting: The resonance of Pancasila’s values among Indonesian students in Malaysia
Pancasila, the foundational philosophy of Indonesia, serves as a unifying force in a diverse nation characterized by myriad islands, ethnicities, races, and religions. In a world where globalization and migration are prevalent, understanding how national values are maintained by citizens living abroad becomes increasingly significant. This study focuses on Indonesian students at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), a group representing a microcosm of the Indonesian diaspora. It explores how these students nurture and strengthen their nationalism and internalize Pancasila values despite residing in a foreign country. Utilizing qualitative research methods, with semi-structured interviews as a primary approach to dive deeper into the experiences of these individuals, the study reveals intricate dynamics of cultural adaptation, identity preservation, and the reinforcement of national values. Three thematic insights emerge from the analysis: the role of Pancasila in promoting openness and understanding among diverse groups, the importance of diversity as a reflection of Indonesian society itself, and the complex sense of nationalism experienced by students living abroad. These findings shed light on the dynamic process of internalizing national values within the Indonesian diaspora and contribute to a broader understanding of how cultural identity and cohesion can be maintained across borders. The study highlights the importance of community, cultural practices, and the role of education in fostering a sense of belonging and nationalism among Indonesians abroad, providing valuable insights for policymakers, educators, and diaspora communities striving to preserve national identity in a globalized world

How sport specialization age and training components influence the achievements of elite athletes
Early specialization in sports for young elite athletes was undertaken for a variety of positive reasons, but it also can lead to increased vulnerability to injury, burnout, limited skill development, and negative effects on mental well-being as a result of intense training from a young age. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age of sport specialization and training components to the achievements. This was a correlational survey and a cross-sectional approach to elite athletes in the city of Bandung. The sample for this study consisted of 84 high-level athletes who competed in 27 different sports and were eligible for athlete incentives from the government. Athletes were surveyed using a questionnaire to answer questions about their debut age, training frequency, duration, intensity, and highest championship achievement. The results of bivariate analysis showed that age, gender, age of specialization, duration of exercise, and intensity of exercise were not related to sports achievement. Based on the results of statistical analysis, it was known that the frequency of exercise was significantly correlated with sports achievement. Compared to athletes who train less than five times per week, athletes who train more than five times per week were found to have higher performance. Future possible research will assist in identifying the success factors of young athletes who begin sports specialisation at a young age
The effect of digital citizenship on the quality learning civic education
This paper explores the significant roles and influences in the development of responsible technology use and the impact of digital citizenship on the quality of learning within civic education. Firstly, it hypothesizes that universities are the primary influencers in shaping an individual’s character towards responsible technology usage. The paper calls for empirical evidence or authoritative references to substantiate this assertion. Secondly, the study presents statistical evidence indicating a significant relationship between digital citizenship and learning quality in civic education, highlighted by a t count (14,510) surpassing the t table (1.66) with a significance level of 0.000, lower than the 0.05 threshold. This finding necessitates the backing of its statistical analysis through credible academic sources. Lastly, the paper posits that enhancing digital citizenship will positively influence the quality of learning in civic education, suggesting that this claim should be supported by research or literature in the field. There is a need for well-supported arguments in discussing the role of university education, digital citizenship, and their impacts on learning quality

The role of parenting styles in increasing the achievement of Shorinji Kempo athletes: a literature review
Achievement is one of the universal aspiration among athletes in the world of sports. The aim of this research is to determine the role of parenting styles in enhancing the performance of Shorinji Kempo athletes. The study employs a literature review method with a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques that include editing, organizing, and synthesizing information. The data analysis conducted through content analysis, utilizing internet applications such as Scopus, Sinta, and Google Scholar. The results of this study show parental involvement plays a crucial role in boosting the performance of Shorinji Kempo athletes, particularly during adolescence. Parents are the jewel and main educators for an athlete at home and in the social environment, even though they train with a coach and then study at school. While coaches and teachers contribute to an athlete\u27s development, they act as extensions of parental guidance, providing education and support that may not be available at home. Facilities that cannot be obtained at home but are obtained at school can be complement for children in their development process, while coaches are developers of children\u27s talents and interests that are previously identified by parents. The study concludes that the achievements of young athletes are significantly influenced by the parenting styles they experience. The role of parents in this case is to provide warm, caring, and affectionate family care that has maximum positive impact. As a result, athletes are more likely to grow into well-rounded adults with strong personal qualities, capable of fully realizing their talents and achieving excellence in sports performance
Developing Physics Teaching Materials Based on Differentiated Merdeka Curriculum Using an Ethnoscience-Integrated Contextual Approach
The availability of Merdeka Curriculum teaching materials in schools is still lacking, so it is necessary to develop Merdeka Curriculum teaching materials to support dynamic learning. Evaluation of student internship programs to support the sustainability of vocational education institutions and industrial cooperation programs
The internship program is an annual routine activity in all faculties at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). This program implements a link and match between educational institutions and industry but has not been evaluated comprehensively. Therefore, conducting program evaluation research using the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) model is important. The type of research used is program evaluation research with the CIPP model. Data collection techniques in this research used questionnaires, interviews, and focus group discussions. The research subjects were UNY students who were grouped into four groups. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results showed that the context aspect of the internship program (goals and objectives) was in accordance with the graduate profile set at UNY. However, the general policy for organizing internships during the pandemic still needs to be developed. The systems and procedures of the academic community support the internship program, but there is still a need to improve cooperation documents and internship information systems for all faculties. The implementation of the internship program is in accordance with the activity plan set at UNY, but SIPKL needs to be developed to equalize the perception of field supervisors. The product of the internship program is in accordance with the goals and objectives set at UNY, but some students (34.16%) still have not received a job offer from the internship site. The results of this research can contribute to developing a quality-oriented internship program, which will then positively impact the cooperation relationship between universities and industry. Thus, a good working relationship will benefit both parties and potentially develop cooperation in other programs
