Indonesian athlete risk management planning (Case study athletes with high-risk injury) Abstract High-achieving athletes are at risk of causing financial difficulties when they retire from sports. Athletes with high injuries are more likely to experience financial difficulties due to early retirement due to injury. The purpose of this study was to see how risk management performed by high-achieving athletes from sports with high injuries to minimize risks at retirement by optimizing the income they had while still active as an athlete. The concept used in this research is risk management with two plans, financial planning using private financial planning by Kapoor, Dlabay and Hughes (2009) and educational planning. In-depth interviews were conducted with four athletes and one representative of the federation as well as document studies. The results of risk management owned by the four informants are savings from salaries of civil servants and athletes\u27 honor, investment in the form of land and property, and houses in their own names. Athlete is still vulnerable to be exposed by risk during retirement. The four informants did not continue their higher education. Risk management is also carried out by the federation with scholarship opportunities for athletes to continue their higher education. The recommendation of this research is that the government encourages and provides affirmative scholarships for higher education athletes

The sports activity of badminton and responses to changes in blood uric acid at productive age Abstract This study aims to determine whether there was a response to changes in uric acid levels due to the physical activity of badminton. The design of this study is a quasi-experimental. The sample used in this study was eight respondents with certain criteria. Treat physical activity twice on different days with 4 measurements of uric acid levels. The method of this study is repeated measure analysis. When subjects are measured repeatedly, requiring fewer subjects per experiment, then repeated measures analysis can be used. The results showed that the treatment of badminton had a significant effect on changes in uric acid levels with a probability value of 0,038. These results were obtained by using the Greenhouse-Geisser test where the assumptions of normality and homogeneity were satisfied. From the marginal test results using pairwise comparisons, there was a significant difference in the average uric acid levels at 15 minutes after exercise and 9 hours the following day, where there was a decrease of 1.169 mg/dl. Badminton can reduce uric acid levels, which is indicated by a decrease of 0.15 mg/dl at 09.00 the next day compared to before exercise. Marginally, this decrease is not statistically significant, but regular badminton can be an option for physical activity for those who want to reduce uric acid levels

    No full text
The increasing demand and widespread of renewable energy inherently compel the development of power electronics converter as an interface between consumers and the energy source/s. This paper presents a new two switched-impedance networks qZSI converter called High Ratio Two Switched-impedance quasi-Z-Source Inverter (HR2SZ-qZSI). Compared with the previous topology, this proposed HR2SZ-qZSI topology can achieve higher voltage gain with lower shoot-through duty ratio, and a higher boost factor. This paper also discusses comparative analysis between the previous topology and the proposed HR2SZ-qZSI topology. Furthermore, the simulation and experimental data are presented to prove the theoretical analysis of the proposed HR2SZ-qZSI topology. Despite the additional components needed, it accentuates that this proposed converter retains all features of qZSI: common ground point between the dc source and converter and smooth input current operation. Furthermore, almost all the devices rating including capacitor and diode voltage, and inductor current ripple are lower than the preceding relevant two switched-impedance qZSI family. Accordingly, this proposed HR2SZ-qZSI clearly a good power conditioning alternative for renewable generation system
