Lapindo Embankment Security Monitoring System Based on IoT
Since 2006 Lapindo mudflow caused by natural gas drilling in Sidoarjo. Nowdays the mudflow still can\u27t be stopped, and to prevent it from resident\u27s houses, embankments were built. Eventough the embankments and guardrails has been built but sometimes the mud flowing into resident\u27s houses while its raining or the embankments were subsidence or reep. Severity, the distance between the embankment and the residents\u27 houses is about 500 m. So far, the handling action while embankments ware subsidence is residents report the accidents to related parties, namely PPLS. But the response is too late and take a long time to occur the accident, so the mud has been flow in to resident\u27s houses. because so far it is still completely manual and there is no monitoring system can detect the accident in the embankments. Therefore with monitoring the embankments with vibration and overflow of the lapindo puddle using wirelless sensor network spread over a number of dike-prone points, then its send to smartphone via Blynk. When the accident happend system monitoring aplication will be warning and send message easly via smartphone. So the existence of this monitoring tool can provide a sense of security to the citizens
Design and Development of Alumni Career Information System using PHP MySQL
Alumni data collection at the Electrical Engineering Vocational Education Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa was still performed manually and there were no career information media about soft skills training and development, tracer studies, and job vacancies information. Therefore, media is needed to accommodate career information and alumni data collection quickly and effectively. The web-based information system using PHP MySQL was developed and tested for feasibility as an information medium for soft skills training and development, tracer studies, job vacancies information, as well as career counseling and consulting. This study used a Modify R&D as a development method and the waterfall method as a development model consisted of analysis, design, coding (implementation), and testing. The testing was carried out by 37 people consisted of software experts, admins, alumni, and students of Electrical Engineering Vocational Education. The test was based on the ISO9126 standard with functionality, usability, reliability, and efficiency aspects. Based on the results, the functionality aspect had a score of 77 (very feasible), the usability aspect had a score of 87.8 (very feasible), the reliability aspect had a score of 100% (very feasible) and the average page load time was 3.48 seconds (feasible)
Aplikasi mobile berbasis android sebagai media tes prior knowledge mahasiswa biologi
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi mobile berbasis android yang dapat digunakan sebagai media tes prior knowledge mahasiswa di mata kuliah sistematika tumbuhan. Aplikasi tersebut dinamakan SISTA. Pengembangan SISTA mengikuti model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Development software yang digunakan dalam mengembangkan SISTA adalah MIT App Inventor 2 Ultimate versi 4.6. Subyek uji meliputi ahli pembelajaran, ahli media, ahli IT, dan mahasiswa dari tiga angkatan berbeda. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah persentase dan rerata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SISTA dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan sebagai media tes prior knowledge mahasiswa. Hal ini berdasarkan asil validasi ahli yang menunjukkan persentase 96,19%. Hasil uji keterbacaan oleh mahasiswa terhadap SISTA juga menunjukkan persentase 90,27% sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa SISTA valid tanpa revisi. Uji penerapan SISTA di kegiatan pembuka pada mata kuliah sistematika tumbuhan juga menunjukkan bahwa SISTA dapat digunakan sebagai media tes prior knowledge. SISTA sebagai media tes berbasis android memberikan kenyamanan bagi mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan tes, dan memberikan kemudahan bagi pengajar untuk menerima serta menganalisis hasil tes mahasiswa.
Mobile App android-based as prior knowledge test media for biology undergraduate students
Abstract: This paper discusses developing an android-based mobile application that can be used as a medium for testing students\u27 prior knowledge in the plant systematics course. That application is named SISTA. The development of SISTA follows the 4D development model, which consists of defining, designing, developing and disseminating stages. The development software used is MIT App Inventor 2 Ultimate version 4.6. The subjects included learning experts, media experts, IT experts, and students from three different grades. The research data was collected using questionnaires, interviews, and tests. The data analysis technique uses percentages and mean. This study showed that SISTA was declared valid and could be used as a medium for a student\u27s prior knowledge test. This is based on the result of expert validation which shows 96.19%. The results of the student readability test for SISTA also showed 90.27%, so it could be stated that SISTA is valid without revision needed. The test of the application of SISTA in the opening activity in the plant systematics course also shows that SISTA can be used as a medium for testing prior knowledge. SISTA is an android-based test media that provides comfort for students and benefits teachers to accept and analyze student test results
Meta-Analisis Pembelajaran Kooperatif di Indonesia
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis besar pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif terhadap pembelajaran Biologi. Metode yang digunakan adalah meta-analisis yaitu analisis hasil-hasil penelitian yang telah dipublikasikan secara nasional yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif terhadap pembelajaran Biologi. Dari 70 jurnal mengenai pembelajaran kooperatif dianalisis lebih lanjut sebanyak lima belas jurnal nasional terakreditasi sinta 1 sampai 3 yang diterbitkan pada rentang tahun 2010-2019 pada jenjang SMP dan SMA, yang membahas penenelitian eksperimen penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif terhadap pembelajaran Biologi. Instrumen penulisan berupa lembar pengkodean yang merangkum data dan informasi jurnal. Berdasarkan analisis nilai pengaruh secara keseluruhan didapatkan nilai rata-rata besar pengaruh sebesar 0,30 yang berarti dalam kategori efek besar. Temuan analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif memberikan pengaruh dan efektif pada jenjang SMP dan SMA, juga pada semua wilayah penelitian yaitu Jawa, Kalimantan dan Sumatera, serta pada variabel terikat, dan berbagai jenis metode kooperatif yang digunakan. Hal ini menunjukkan kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif lebih efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran Biologi dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional dalam studi ini.
Meta-Analysis of Cooperative Learning in Indonesia\u27
Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the effect of cooperative learning models on Biology learning. The method used is a meta-analysis that is analyzing research results that have been published nationally related to the use of cooperative learning models for Biology learning. From the 70 journals on cooperative learning, further analyzed were fifteen national journals accredited by Sinta 1 to 3 published between 2010-2019 at the junior and senior high school levels, which discussed experiments using cooperative learning models in Biology learning. The writing instrument is a coding data that summarizes the journal data and information. Based on the analysis of the overall effect value, the average value of the influence is 0.30 which means that it is in the large effect category. The findings of the analysis also show that the cooperative learning model is influential and effective at the junior and senior high school levels, as well as in all research areas, namely Java, Kalimantan and Sumatra, as well as on the dependent variable and various types of cooperative methods used. Development of a quizmaker ispring approach assessment instrument to measure understanding of student concepts
The purpose of this study is to produce a valid, practical and effective Ispring Quizmaker Application Assisted Instrument. The development model of the assessment instrument used is the Plomp model which includes three stages of development, namely: preliminary research (preliminary research), the development phase or prototype (development of prototypephase), and the assessment phase (Assessment phase). The results of the study have produced a valid, practical and effective Ispring Quizmaker application-assisted assessment instrument. The instrument is valid both in terms of material, construction, media and language with an average value of 78.76% with a very valid category. The practicality of the media has an average value of 92.06% with a very practical category, while for the effectiveness of understanding physics concepts based on questions per item of indicators understanding the concept of 65, 11% with the effective category
Hubungan physical activity dengan fine motor skills pada anak usia 4 tahun
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji hubungan antara physical activity dengan fine motor skills pada anak usia 4 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu anak usia 4 tahun yang sedang menempuh pendidikan anak usia dini di PAUD, TK, dan KB di Kota Bandung. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 53 anak dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa Accelerometer Actigraph dan 9-Hole Peg Test. Accelerometer Actigraph digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat physical activity atau aktivitas fisik dengan hasil yang menunjukan bahwa anak - anak paling banyak menghabiskan waktu di skor light daripada sedentary, moderate-to-vigorous dan vigorous. 9-Hole Peg Test digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kemampuan motorik halus atau fine motor skills anak dengan hasil menunjukan bahwa anak lebih terampil dalam menggunakan tangan yang dominan. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan Spearman Correlation Test. Hasil analisis data menunjukan tidak terdapat korelasi antara physical activity dengan fine motor skills baik pada tangan dominan (p=0,678\u3e0,05) maupun dengan tangan non dominan (p=0,167\u3e0,05) yang berarti tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara physical activity dengan fine motor skills pada anak usia 4 tahun.
The relationship between physical activity and fine motor skills in 4-year-old children
Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between physical activity and fine motor skills in 4-year-old children. The method used is a quantitative research method with the correlation research approach. The population in this study were 4-year-old children who were taking early education in PAUD, TK, and KB in Bandung City. A total of 53 4-year-old children participated in this study by using a purposive sampling technique. The instrumen used were Accelerometer Actograph and 9-Hole Peg Test. The accelerometer actigraph is used to measure the level of physical activity and the results show that children spend the most time on the light score rather than sedentary, moderate-to-vigorous and vigorous score. 9-Hole Peg Test is used to measure the level of fine motor skills of children and the results showing that children are more skilled in using the dominant hand. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Correlation Test. The results of data analysis showed there is no correlation between physical activity and fine motor skills both in dominant hand (p=0.678\u3e0,05) and with the non-dominant hand (p=0,167\u3e0,05) which meant there are no significant relationship between physical activity and fine motor skills in 4-year-old children
Implementation of the learning process: Efforts to improve the quality of vocational education graduates
The quality of education is determined by a good management process, including the evaluation process of vocational education graduates. Furthermore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of the learning process in vocational education programs, which includes an implementation of the teaching and learning process, the implementation of industrial training, lecturer skills in industrial supervision training, and encouraging entrepreneurship by lecturers to students. This study used a mixed-method design, and data were collected by questionnaires and depth-interview questions. The sample size is 218 graduates successfully collected using the total sampling technique. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive statistics (SPSS 23.0) and qualitative descriptive. Qualitative data support the quantitative results through interviews with five research informants. The results showed that graduates agreed that the teaching and learning process, the implementation of industrial training, lecturer skills in industrial supervision training, encouraging entrepreneurship by lecturers to students had gone well. In conclusion, the implementation of the vocational education program has been following the program\u27s objectives. However, the results of the study showed that there are still weaknesses in the guidance from lecturers to students in the practice of opening a business and updating developments in related industries. Based on the results of this study, recommendations are made to focus on improving the process of implementing vocational education programs
Transferable skills perception analysus of vocational teachers on-in-on-in dual skills program
The Ministry of Education and Culture in 2016 made one of the breakthrough programs in an effort to organize and fulfill productive teachers in Vocational High Schools (VHS), namely through the Dual Skills Program (DSK). The DSK is implemented to support the improvement of vocational education as well as education and job skills training. Meanwhile, DSK participating teachers must have new competencies that can be used to teach productive subjects in certain areas of expertise. Increasing the competence of DSK participants needs to take into account the development of transferable skills obtained after conducting training or in the process of implementing DSK. The aims of this study are to 1.) Determine the types of transferable skills that DSK participant teachers need to possess; and 2.) Analyze and describe the transferable skills of teachers of vocational high school on-in-on-in DSK in Malang Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach. The samples used were all vocational high school teachers who took part in the on-in-on-in DSK in Malang Regency, while the respondent\u27s data collection used a questionnaire. The results showed that the types of transferable skills consist of communication skills, planning skills, interpersonal skills, work attitude skills, organizational skills, financial management skills, and critical thinking skills. The transferable skills of teachers of vocational high school on-in-on-in DSK in Malang Regency were in a good category
YouTube vlog channels in basic mathematics as e-learning during the COVID-19 pandemic
This research aimed to produce YouTube vlog channels that are valid, practical, and effective to be used in facilitating e-learning in a basic mathematics course. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D), which consists of four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects in this study were 62 third-semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at PGRI University of Madiun, Indonesia, where 50 students were field test subjects and 12 students were limited test subjects. The instruments used in this research were a validation sheet, a student response questionnaire, and a student learning outcomes test. This research produced YouTube vlog channels. Based on the validation results on teaching materials, an average score of 77% was obtained which was declared valid. Based on the student response questionnaire at the field test stage, it was obtained an average value of 75.46% which was stated to be practical. While at the limited test stage obtained a score of 81.94% which is also declared practical. Based on the learning outcomes test in the field test, the percentage of completeness was 81.82% which stated that the YouTube vlog channel was effective. Meanwhile, in the limited test stage, the completeness percentage was 82% which was also declared effective. Therefore, the produced YouTube vlog channel is feasible for use in e-learning environment
Kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi bilangan model ujian negara tingkat SMP
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi bilangan model Ujian Negara (UN) untuk tingkat SMP. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Survei dilaksanakan pada siswa SMP kelas IX se-Kabupaten Dharmasraya, Indonesia. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 104 siswa dipilih menggunakan teknik stratified propotional random sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes diagnostik berupa soal uraian yang dimodifikasi dari soal pilihan ganda pada UN tingkat SMP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal operasi bilangan model UN untuk tingkat SMP yaitu kesalahan membaca (reading erorrs) sebanyak 30%; kesalahan pemahaman (comprehension errors) sebanyak 40%; kesalahan transformasi (transformations errors) sebanyak 83%; kesalahan keterampilan proses (processing skill errors) sebanyak 85%; dan kesalahan menarik kesimpulan (encoding errors) sebanyak 85%.
Abstract
This study aimed to describe the types of students\u27 errors in solving the number operation problem of the state examination (Ujian Negara or UN) model for the junior high school level. This study was a survey with a quantitative approach. The survey was conducted on ninth-grade junior high school students in Dharmasraya Regency, Indonesia. The number of study samples was 104 students who were selected using the stratified proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used was a diagnostic test in the form of an essay problem which was modified from the multiple-choice national examination test at the junior high school level. The results showed that the types of students\u27 errors in solving the UN model problem on the topic of number operations were: reading errors (30%); comprehension error (40%); transformations errors (83%); processing skill errors (85%); and encoding errors (85%)
