The benefits of scuba diving for people with physical disabilities: a systematic review of the literature
The purpose of this study was to find out other benefits of scuba diving for persons with physical disabilities through a systematic literature review. The technique used in this research is a literature study. The literature analysis used the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) method. A total of seven articles were selected for review. A review of articles shows that diving can be treated as a multidimensional therapy in water, allowing people with and without disabilities to share activities together. Such rehabilitation involves comprehensive stimulation of the human body through social interaction through participation in class, influencing the mental and physical environment to regain awareness of one\u27s own body and the movements one can perform, to feel one\u27s own body position and the possibility of providing direction of motion and the benefits of increasing self-reliance in water. Utilization the aquatic environment allows muscle relaxation, which, as a result, can have a positive effect on spasticity and often increase the very limited range of motion of joints in a natural environment allowing increased movement and coordination in a much easier manner than in a terrestrial environment. A person who scuba dives could learn and demonstrate independence by keeping himself safe, as well as the safety of his colleagues. Diving encourages a person to spend time with other people and, as such, provides an opportunity to be in a group whose members include people without disabilities, as well as people with locomotor system dysfunction, providing a sense of affiliation with the group and responsibility for it. members and create a positive mental state

Civic values: Thematic studies on citizenship in Islam
Indonesia\u27s diverse religious, tribal, cultural, and linguistic background has resulted in frequent disputes between different groups due to the lack of firmly established civic values. As the majority population, Islamic ummah holds a vital role in establishing and managing a peaceful, fair, and prosperous society. The Qur\u27an, being the primary source of Islamic law, contains principles and meanings of social values that laid the foundation of the first Islamic country in Medina. Therefore, it is essential for followers of Islam to explore civic values in the Qur\u27an that can be integrated into Indonesian civic values. However, previous research on the concept of the ummah in the Qur\u27an that can construct civic values is lacking. This study aimed to address this gap by conducting qualitative research through a library research method and thematic analysis. The study identified civic values in the Qur\u27an that included unity, self-regulation, justice, honesty, responsibility, moderation, tolerance, rule of law, purity, change, plurality, critical thinking, and becoming a participatory, humanist, emancipatory, liberal society inseparable from the transcendental path. Integrating these values into Indonesian civic values can contribute to establishing a peaceful, fair, and prosperous society that values diversity, justice, and the rule of law

Bureaucratic ethics in realizing licensing services with integrity in Yogyakarta
Bureaucratic ethics are crucial for the integrity of licensing services at the Yogyakarta City Investment and Licensing Service. Despite challenges like corruption, collusion, and nepotism, the Yogyakarta City Government is working to institutionalize an employee code of ethics through the SATRIYA Culture and BerAKHLAK core values. This paper aims to explain the development of bureaucratic ethics in the Yogyakarta City Investment and Licensing Office, using qualitative descriptive methods such as interviews, focus group discussions, observation, and documentation. The study found that civil servants have a good understanding of bureaucratic ethics, but internalizing values and norms takes time. Efforts to achieve integrity include public interest orientation, legal certainty, equality of rights, balance of rights and obligations, professionalism, equality of treatment, openness, and accountability. However, sub-optimal results exist due to limited funds, limited public facilities, different attitudes, unintegrated coordination, and operational technical problems
Gaining a deeper understanding of the meaning of the carelessness parameter in the 4PL IRT model and strategies for estimating it
Three popular models are used to describe the characteristics of the test items and estimate the ability of examinees under the dichotomous IRT model, namely the one-, two-, and three-parameter logistic models. The three-item parameters are discriminating power, difficulty, and pseudo-guessing. In the development of the dichotomous IRT model, carelessness or upper asymptote parameter was proposed, which forms a four-parameter logistic (4PL) model to accommodate a condition where a high-ability examinee gives an incorrect response to a test item when he/she should be able to respond to the test item correctly. However, the carelessness parameter and the 4PL model have not been widely accepted and used due to several factors, and people\u27s understanding of that parameter and strategies for estimating it is still inadequate. Therefore, this study aims to shed light on ideas underlying the 4PL model, the meaning of the carelessness parameter, and strategies used to estimate that parameter based on the extant literature. The focus of this study was then extended to demonstrating practical examples of estimating item and person parameters using the 4PL model using empirical data on responses of 1,000 students from the Indonesia Open University (Universitas Terbuka) on 21 of 30 multiple-choice items on the Business English test, a paper-and-pencil test. We mainly analyzed empirical data using the \u27mirt\u27 package in RStudio. We present the analysis results coherently so that IRT users would have a sufficient understanding of the 4PL model and the carelessness parameter, and they can estimate item and person parameters under the 4PL model
