PENGEMBANGAN SSP FISIKA BERBASIS PENDEKATAN CTL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR
This research aims to develop a learning device as Subject-Specific Pedagogy (SSP) of physics, and to improve science process skills and learning motivation of the students. This research used the 4D model. The subjects of this research were the XI grade students of Muhammadiyah High School 2 Yogyakarta. The data collecting instruments were expert validation sheets, science process skill observation sheets, questionnaire of students\u27 response to the student books and worksheets, question-naire of students\u27 response to teaching process, students\u27 motivation learning sheets, and science process skill paper test. The research data were collected through observation, questionnaire, and paper test, and analyzed quantitatively. The results show as follows. (1) The development of physics SSP is carried out in accordance with the procedures of 4D model product development. (2) The results of expert\u27s validation show the physics SSP is in the very good criteria. (3) The readability of the student books and worksheets is in the good criteria. (4) The increasing of the score of science process skills and students\u27 learning motivation in the experimental class is higher than that in the control class. This shows that the physics SSP is fit for use in physics teaching
PENGEMBANGAN HIGHER ORDER THINKING MULTIPLE CHOICE TEST UNTUK MENGUKUR KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS IPA KELAS VII SMP/MTs
This study aims to: (1) develop higher order thinking multiple choice test (HOT-MCT) to measure the critical thinking skills of students of class VII IPA SMP/MTs, (2) determine the quality of the test theoretically, and (3) determine the quality of the test empirically. The procedure consists of seven-step, which adapted from 10 models of research and development steps Borg & Gall which includes: (1) the preliminary study, (2) planning , (3) development, (4) a small test group, (5) revision, (6) field trials, and (7) revision. The quality of the test theoretically validated by experts and science teachers. Empirically test the quality of trials conducted small groups and field trials. Analysis of the data using the parameters of the classical theory. This research resulted in about HOT-MCT with the following explanation: (1) a multiple choice question with four answer options consisting of 23 items was, (2) the test is valid theoretically valid, and (3)the test is valid emperically with reliability index? = 0.723
PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN IPA BERBASIS INKUIRI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS DAN SCIENTIFIC ATTITUDE SISWA
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis inkuiri berdasarkan hasil penilaian dosen ahli dan guru IPA, dan (2) mengukur keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis inkuiri dalam meningkatkan critical thinking skills dan scientific attitude siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah research and development (R&D) yang mengadaptasi model penelitian pengembangan Borg & Gall. Subjek uji coba produk terdiri atas 34 siswa kelas VII SMPN 14 Yogyakarta dan 52 siswa SMPN 1 Piyungan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, angket, dan tes. Data dikumpulkan melalui pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, lembar angket, dan soal tes. Data kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran dianalisis dengan menggunakan konversi skor skala 4. Keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan critical thinking skills dan scientific attitude siswa dianalisis dengan multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) dan gain score. Hasil validasi dan uji coba produk menunjukkan bahwa (1) perangkat pembelajaran IPA layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan (2) efektif dalam meningkatkan critical thinking skills dan scientific attitude siswa.

AN INQUIRY-BASED NATURAL SCIENCE TEACHING PACKAGE TO IMPROVE STUDENT\u27S CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS AND SCIENTIFIC ATTITUDE
Abstract
The objectives of this study are (1) to explain the validity of an inquiry-based natural science teaching package and (2) to measure the effectiveness of an inquiry-based natural science teaching package to improve junior high school student\u27s critical thinking skills and scientific attitude. The method of this study was research and development (R & D) adapted from the development model by Borg & Gall. The product testing subjects consisted of 34 students of SMPN 14 Yogyakarta and 52 students of SMPN 1 Piyungan. The data collection techniques were interviews, questionnaires, observation, and tests. The data were collected using an interview guide, validation questionnaire sheet, readability questionnaire worksheet, pretestt-posttest questions, project assessment sheet, questionnaires, and an observation sheet. The validity of the teaching package was analyzed by converting four scales. The effectiveness of the teaching package to improve student\u27s critical thinking skills and scientific attitude was analyzed through the multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) and gain score. The result of the validation and the product testing indicated that the teaching package (1) can be used in the natural science teaching and (2) can improve students\u27 critical thinking skills and scientific attitude effectively. PENGEMBANGAN BUKU PEDOMAN GURU PADA PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA SMA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PROBLEM SOLVING LEVEL INKUIRI
Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) menghasilkan buku pedoman guru untuk pembelajaran fisika SMA menggunakan model problem solving sesuai level inkuiri yang layak digunakan; (2) mendeskripsikan keberhasilan pembelajaran fisika menggunakan model problem solving (MPS) sesuai dengan level inkuiri sesuai dengan buku pedoman terhadap peningkatan aktivitas peserta didik dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan, sesuai langkah yang dikembangkan oleh Borg & Gall. Subjek coba menggunakan delapan kelas. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket respon peserta didik, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran, lembar observasi aktivitas belajar dan tes kemampuan berfikir kritis peserta didik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji multivariat (Manova). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari aspek materi, petunjuk umum buku, RPP & LKPD, dan perangkat penilaiam pembelajaran menurut ahli materi dan ahli media berkategori baik dan terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berfikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar peserta didik yang signifikan antara keenam level inkuiri yang diujicobakan.

DEVELOPING A HANDBOOK FOR TEACHER IN TEACHERS HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL PHYSICS USE THE MODEL OF PROBLEM SOLVING LEVEL OF INQUIRY
Abstract
This study aims to: (1) to produce a handbook for teachers high school level physics use a model of problem solving with level of inquiry fit for use; (2) to determine the successful learning of physics using a model of problem solving in accordance with the level of inquiry to increase learning activities of learners and critical thinking abilities of learners. This research is the development, which refers to measures developed by Borg & Gall. The subject try consists of eight classes. Data collection using the questionnaire responses of learners, observation sheets learning process, observation sheet activities and critical thinking ability test learners. Data were analyzed using multivariate analysis (Manova). The results showed that the product is developed in terms of material aspects, the general guide book, subject specific paedagogy, students worksheet and the evaluation of learning by material experts and media experts categorized good and differences in the increase in critical thinking skills and learning activities of learners between the significant and simultaneous kenam inquiry levels tested. MODEL PERMAINAN AKTIVITAS LUAR KELAS UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN RANAH KOGNITIF, AFEKTIF, DAN PSIKOMOTORIK SISWA SMA
Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model-model permainan Aktivitas Luar kelas (ALK) yang layak digunakan sebagai materi pembelajaran penjas, serta efektif untuk mengembangkan ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa SMA. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) pengumpulan informasi di lapangan, (2) menganalisis informasi yang telah dikumpulkan, (3) mengembangkan produk awal, (4) validasi ahli dan revisi, (5) uji coba skala kecil dan revisi, (6) uji coba skala besar dan revisi, dan (7) pembuatan produk final. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas X-D dan XI-IPA 4 dari SMA N I Prambanan berjumlah 66 orang. Uji coba skala besar dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas X-G, X-H, XI-IPS 3, dan XI-BHS dari SMA N I Prambanan berjumlah 132 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu; (1) pedoman wawancara, (2) skala nilai, (3) pedoman observasi permainan, (4) pedoman observasi keefektifan permainan, (5) pedoman observasi terhadap guru pelaku uji coba, dan (6) rubrik penilaian siswa. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian berupa tujuh model permainan yang layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran penjas, hal ini dibuktikan dengan perolehan persentase sebesar 100% dari data hasil kuesioner skala nilai, observasi model permainan, observasi keefektifan permainan, dan observasi guru pelaku uji coba. Model permainan juga efektif untuk mengembangkan ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, yang dibuktikan dengan terjadinya peningkatan persentase nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 21%.

THE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY GAME MODEL TO DEVELOP THE ASPECT OF COGNITIVE, AFFECTIVE, AND PSYCHOMOTOR OF THE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Abstract
This study aims at producing outdoor activity game models which are proper to be used for physicall education learning and developing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains for senior high school students. This educational research and development was carried out following the steps of developing research, consisting of: (1) collecting information, (2) information analysis, (3) developing initial product, (4) expert validation and revision, (5) preliminary field test and revision, (6) main field test and revision, and (7) making the final product. The small field try out is done for the students of the class X-H and XI-IPA 3 from SMA N 1 Prambanan, with the total number of students 66. The big field try out is done for the students of class X-G, X-H, XI-IPS, and XI Bahasa from SMA N 1 Prambanan, with the total number students 132. The data instruments collecting which were used were: (1) interview guide, (2) rating scale, (3) observation guide for games observation, (4) observation guide for games effectiveness, and (5) observation guide for perpetrator teachers, (6) scoring rubric for measuring student\u27s work. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study in the form of seven models of the game are proper and effective to be used in physicall education, this is proved by percentage result about 100% from score scale questioner data, game model observation, observation for the offender trial teacher. Besides, the game is also effective for developing the aspect of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor which is proved by the increasing of percentage average of the students about 21%. Pengaruh pembelajaran kewirausahan melalui business center, prakerin, dan latar belakang keluarga terhadap kompetensi berwirausaha
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh: (1) pembelajaran kewirausahaan melalui business center, (2) prakerin, (3) latar belakang keluarga, dan (4) pembelajaran kewirausahaan melalui business center, prakerin, dan latar belakang keluarga secara bersama-sama terhadap kompetensi berwirausaha. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian asosiatif kausal. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri kelompok bismen di Kota Yogyakarta. Sampel sebanyak 221 siswa ditentukan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan angket. Data variabel dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif. Pengaruh setiap variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat dianalisis dengan statistik regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pembelajaran kewirausahaan melalui business center berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi berwirausaha siswa SMK (0,000\u3c0,05); (2) prakerin berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi berwirausaha siswa SMK (0,000\u3c0,05); (3) latar belakang keluarga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi berwirausaha siswa SMK (0,000\u3c0,05); (4) pembelajaran kewirausahaan melalui business center, prakerin, dan latar belakang keluarga secara besama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi berwirausaha siswa SMK (0,000\u3c0,05).
THE EFFECT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP TEACHING THROUGH A BUSINESS CENTRE, PRATICAL WORK, AND FAMILY BACKGROUND ON THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP COMPETENCE
Abstract
This research is aimed to reveal the effect of: (1) entrepreneurship teaching through business centre; (2) practical work; (3) family background; (4) entrepreneurship teaching through a business centre, practical work, and family background on the entrepreneurship competence. This is an associative causal research. The population was all graduate XI students of state vocational high school of business and management group in Yogyakarta City. A sample of 221 students was established using the proportional random sampling technique. The data were collected through documentation and questionnaire. The variable data were analyzed using the descriptive statistics. The effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable was analyzed using the simple and multiple regression statistics. The result of the research shows that: (1) entrepreneurship teaching through business centre gives a positive and significant effect on vocational high school students\u27 entrepreneurship competence (0.000\u3c0.05); (2) practical work gives a positive and significant effect on vocational high school students\u27 entrepreneurship competence (0.000\u3c0.05); (3) family background gives a positive and significant effect on vocational high school students\u27 entrepreneurship competence (0.000\u3c0.05); (4) entrepreneurship teaching through business centre, practical work, and family background provide a positive and significant effect on vocational high school students\u27 entrepreneurship competence (0.000 \u3c 0.05)
Praktik pengalaman lapangandan dampaknya terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa program studi teknik informatika dan komputer
Penelitian ini di bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kompetensi mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Pontianak dalam kegiatan PPL di SMK, SMA, SMP se Kota Pontianak; (2) pengaruh praktik persekolahan terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Pontianak sebagai calon guru; (3) pengaruh rencana pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Pontianak sebagai calon guru; (4) pengaruh pelaksanaan pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Pontianak sebagai calon guru; (5) pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara praktik persekolahan, rencana pembelajaran, dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, termasuk kategori cukup dan kompetensi profesional termasuk kategori baik;(2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara praktek persekolahan terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa sebagai calon guru dengan nilai R2 = 0,515; p= 0,000; (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara rencana pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa sebagai calon guru dengan nilai R2 =0,272; p=0,000; (4) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pelaksanaan pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa sebagai calon guru dengan nilai R2 = 0,515; p= 0,000; dan (5)terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara praktik persekolahan, rencana pembelajaran, dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara bersama-sama terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa sebagai calon guru dengan nilai R2 = 0,931. Prediksi perubahan Y ditunjukan oleh persamaan garis regresiY = 9,463 + 0,759X1 + 0,819X2 +0,763X3.
FIELD EXPERIENCE PRACTICE AND ITS IMPACT ON STUDENT\u27S COMPETENCIES PROGRAM INFORMATION AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING
Abstract
This research aims to determine: (1) the achievement of student\u27s competence in activities of STKIP PGRI Pontianak Practice Experience (PPL) in vocational, high school, junior high school Pontianak City; (2) the correlation betwen schooling practice and student\u27s competency at STKIP PGRI Pontianak as prospective teachers; (3) correlation betwen the competence of the student and lesson plans STKIP PGRI Pontianak as prospective teachers; (4) correlation betwen student\u27s competence and learning implementation STKIP PGRI Pontianak as prospective teachers; and (5) jointly correlation between schooling practices, lesson plans, and implementation of student\u27s learning and student\u27s competency. These results indicate that (1) pedagogic competence, personality, social, and professional categories each including moderate, moderate, moderate, and good respectively, (2) there is a positive and significant correlation between schooling practices and student\u27s competence with values R2 = 0.515; p = 0.000; (3) there is a positive and significant correlation between competence lesson plan and student\u27s with a value of R2 = 0.272; p = 0.000; (4) there is a positive and significant correlation between the implementation of learning with student\u27s competence with a value of R2 = 0.515; p = 0.000; and (5) there is a positive and significant correlation between schooling practices, lesson plans, and implementation of learning together and the competence of student\u27ss as prospective teachers with a value of R2 = 0.931. The predicted change in Y is indicated by the regression line equation Y = 9.463 + 0,759X1 + 0,819X2 + 0,763X3
Pengembangan modul prakarya dan kewirausahaan materi pengolahan berbasis product oriented bagi peserta didik SMK
Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan model tes minat dan bakat dengan metode jaringan syaraf tiruan; (2) memperoleh hasil uji fungsionalitas tes minat dan bakat yang dikembangkan dengan model Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan (JST); dan (3) memperoleh hasil unjuk kerja dari pengujian tes minat dan bakat dengan model jaringan syaraf tiruan untuk memprediksi potensi siswa bidang robotika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek uji coba dibagi menjadi dua, uji coba secara terbatas pada 10 siswa dan uji coba secara luas sebanyak 31 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah: (1) keberhasilan produk yang dikembangkan dengan beberapa spesifikasi model yaitu; (a) JST dibangun dengan struktur single layer, jawaban tes sebagai masukan dan kesimpulan hasil tes sebagai keluaran; (b) Model pembelajaran JST menggunakan metode perceptron dengan model aktifasi pada JST menggunakan model bipolar (symmetric hard limit); (2) Proses pembelajaran secara terbimbing dengan 10 pola mendapatkan bobot yang dapat membedakan 10 pola dengan tepat, berdasar pengujian secara terbalik. (3) Pengujian secara luas menunjukan produk yang dibangun mampu memprediksi potensi siswa dalam bidang robotika, dengan membedakan 31 pola hasil tes siswa yang berbeda dengan menggunakan bobot yang didapat dari 10 pola pembelajaran.
DEVELOPING INTEREST AND TALENT TEST USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK (ANN) TO PREDICT STUDENTS\u27 APTITUDE IN ROBOTICS
Abstract
This investigation was aimed: (1) to develop the model of interest and talent test using ANN; (2) to obtain the results of functionality examination of interest and talent test which is developed using ANN; and (3) to obtain the results of the performance from the examination of interest and talent test which is developed using ANN to predict students\u27 aptitude in robotics. This study was a research and development. Subjects were divided into two trials, limited trial was given to 10 trainee students, and wider trial was tested on the 31 students. From the analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) the success of the products developed had some model specifications as follows; (a) ANN was built with a single-layered structure, the answers to the test was the input and the conclusion of the test was as output. (b) ANN learning model used a neural network perceptron method with activation of the ANN using bipolar model (symmetric hard limit). (2) The learning process was guided by the 10 patterns that could be weighted appropriately to distinguish 10 patterns, based on testing in reverse. (3) Extensive testing showed the developed product was able to predict the aptitude of students in the field of robotics, by distinguishing 31 different student examination result pattern using the weights obtained from the 10 patterns of learning
Pengaruh persepsi siswa terhadap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar teori kejuruan siswa SMK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap: (1) persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi mengajar guru, pola asuh orang tua, motivasi berprestasi siswa, kelengkapan sarana prasarana praktik, dan prestasi belajar teori kejuruan; (2) pengaruh keempat variabel bebas secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersamasama terhadap variabel terikat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post-facto, dilaksanakan di empat SMK se-Kabupaten Sleman. Populasi 205 siswa kelas XII Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan T.A 2014-2015. Teknik sampling menggunakan proportionate random sampling dan jumlah ditentukan berdasarkan tabel Krejcie & Morgan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa tentang: (1) kompetensi mengajar guru sangat tinggi; pola asuh orang tua rendah; motivasi berprestasi siswa rendah; kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana praktik sangat rendah; dan prestasi belajar teori kejuruan sangat rendah; (2) keempat variabel bebas masing-masing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar teori kejuruan; dan secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan sumbangan 50,3% sedangkan 49,7% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.
THE EFFECTS OF STUDENT\u27S PERCEPTION OF FACTORS AFFECTING LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF VOCATIONAL THEORY ON STUDENT\u27S SMK
Abstract
This study aims to reveal: (1) students\u27 perception of teachers\u27 teaching competency, parenting, students\u27 achievement motivation, adequacy of facilities practium, and learning achievement in vocational theory; (2) the effect of four independent variables individually or together on dependent variables. This study is an ex-post-facto, implemented in four SMK\u27s in Sleman Regency. The population was 205 students\u27 of class XII of Computer Engineering and Networks in the Academic Year of 2014-2015. The sample was established using the proportionate random sampling technique and determined using Krejcie & Morgan tables. The technique of data analysis used in this study included descriptive analysis and regression. The results show that students\u27 perception: (1) the competency of the teachers\u27 teaching is very high, parenting as low, achievement motivation students\u27 as low, and adequacy of facilities practices as very low, students\u27 learning achievement in vocational theory as very low; and (2) four independent variables each positive and significant impact on students\u27 of the learning achievement in vocational theory; and together positive and significant with contribution 50.3% while 49% is explained by other variables outside in this research
