    PENGEMBANGAN VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN SUKSESI EKOSISTEM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN PENGUASAAN KONSEP MAHASISWA BIOLOGI

    Tujuan penelitian penyusunan media pembelajaran berupa video yang layak untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan penguasaan konsep suksesi. Metode pengambilan video berlokasi di lereng Merapi yang sesuai dengan perkiraan perkembangan suksesi ekosistem. Pengujian kelayakan produk melibatkan beberapa ahli sedangkan pengujian kelas terdiri dari uji coba terbatas dan uji coba lapangan. Uji coba terbatas melibatkan 30 mahasiswa sedangkan uji coba lapangan melibatkan 30 mahasiswa kelas eksperimen dan 30 mahasiswa kelas kontrol. Penelitian pertama tentang kondisi perkuliahan, penelitian kedua tentang pengujian produk. Hasil uji produk, mendapatkan penilaian minimal Baik . Uji coba terbatas, hasilnya Sangat Baik . Pada uji coba lapangan, produk diuji penggunaannya pada peningkatan motivasi belajar dan penguasaan konsep, serta uji beda terhadap kelas kontrol. Hasil uji kelayakan mendapatkan penilaian Baik dan analisis gain score kedua variabel, mendapatkan hasil lebih tinggi untuk kelas eksperimen. Hasil uji beda menandakan adanya perbedaan antara kedua kelas, artinya media pembelajaran berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan penguasaan konsep. THE DEVELOPMENT OF VIDEO LEARNING ECOSYSTEM SUCCESSION TO IMPROVE LEARNING MOTIVATION AND MASTERY OF CONCEPT FOR BIOLOGICAL STUDENTS Abstract This research was aimed to establish video learning ecosystem succession that deserves to improve learning motivation and mastery of the concept of succession. Capturing video is located on the slopes of Merapi, which according to estimates of ecosystem succession development. Testing the feasibility of a product involves several experts and testing in a class consisting of limited testing and field trial tests. Limited test involving 30 students while the field trial involving 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. The first step in this research is to analyze condition of the course and the second step is on product testing. Test results of product, get a minimum grade is good . On limited testing, the results is Very Good . In field trial tests, its use product tested on improving learning motivation and mastery of concepts, as well as different test against the control class. The results of the feasibility test get grades of Good and the gain score analysis the both of variable, getting higher results for the experimental class. Results of the different test indicate a difference between the two classes, it means video learning influential to improving learning motivation and mastery of concepts.     PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN DAN MODIFIKASI SARANA PRASARANA DALAM MENINGKATKAN STRATEGI BERMAIN DAN KERJA SAMA

    Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan: (1) pengaruh antara metode pembelajaran TGFU dan Skill Theme terhadap peningkatan strategi bermain dan kerja sama; (2) pengaruh antara sarana dan prasarana terhadap peningkatan strategi bermain dan kerja sama, dan (3) mengetahui interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dengan sarana dan prasarana terhadap peningkatan strategi bermain dan kerja sama. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 2. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Bandongan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 64 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik sampel acak. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan dari metode pembelajaran TGFU dan Skill Theme terhadap peningkatan strategi bermain dan kerja sama, adapun dalam meningkatkan strategi bermain dan kerja sama metode pembelajaran skill theme dan TGFU memberikan pengaruh dalam meningkatkan strategi bermain dan kerja sama, (2) ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara sarana dan prasarana terhadap peningkatan strategi bermain dan kerja sama, dan (3) Ada interaksi antara metode pembelajaran TGFU dan Skill Theme dengan sarana dan prasarana terhadap peningkatan strategi bermain dan kerja sama. THE EFFECTS OF LEARNING METHOD AND INFRASTRUCTURE MODIFICATIONS ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT PLAY STRATEGY AND COOPERATION. Abstract The purpose of this study is to reveal the differences of: (1) the effect of teaching methods and learning methods of TGFU Skill Theme on the increase in playing strategy and cooperation, (2) the effect of the modification of the conventional facilities and infrastructure and the improvement of play and collaboration strategies, and (3) the interaction between learning method (TGFU and Skill Theme) and modification of conventional facilities and infrastructure on the improvement of play and cooperation strategies. This research method was an experiment with 2 x 2 factorial design. The population was year XI students of Science class of SMAN 1 Bandongan. The research sample were 64 student taken by random sampling technique. The results of this study are as follows: (1) There is a significant difference in the effect of the learning methods of teaching games for understanding and Skill Theme learning methods on the improvement strategies and cooperative play, while the improving strategies and cooperative play theme methods of learning skills and teaching games for understanding affect the improvement of play and co-operation strategies, (2) There is a significant difference between the modification and conventional infrastructure on the improvement of play and cooperation. Modification of facilities and infrastructure is more effective in increasing the plays and collaboration strategies, and (3 ) There is an interaction between learning method (teaching games for understanding and skill theme) and modification of the conventional facilities and infrastructure and the improvement of play and cooperation strategies.     Pengembangan tes minat dan bakat dengan metode jaringan syaraf tiruan (JST) untuk memprediksi potensi siswa bidang robotika

    Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan model tes minat dan bakat dengan metode jaringan syaraf tiruan; (2) memperoleh hasil uji fungsionalitas tes minat dan bakat yang dikembangkan dengan model Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan (JST); dan (3) memperoleh hasil unjuk kerja dari pengujian tes minat dan bakat dengan model jaringan syaraf tiruan untuk memprediksi potensi siswa bidang robotika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek uji coba dibagi menjadi dua, uji coba secara terbatas pada 10 siswa dan uji coba secara luas sebanyak 31 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah: (1) keberhasilan produk yang dikembangkan dengan beberapa spesifikasi model yaitu; (a) JST dibangun dengan struktur single layer, jawaban tes sebagai masukan dan kesimpulan hasil tes sebagai keluaran; (b) Model pembelajaran JST menggunakan metode perceptron dengan model aktifasi pada JST menggunakan model bipolar (symmetric hard limit); (2) Proses pembelajaran secara terbimbing dengan 10 pola mendapatkan bobot yang dapat membedakan 10 pola dengan tepat, berdasar pengujian secara terbalik. (3) Pengujian secara luas menunjukan produk yang dibangun mampu memprediksi potensi siswa dalam bidang robotika, dengan membedakan 31 pola hasil tes siswa yang berbeda dengan menggunakan bobot yang didapat dari 10 pola pembelajaran. DEVELOPING INTEREST AND TALENT TEST USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK (ANN) TO PREDICT STUDENTS\u27 APTITUDE IN ROBOTICS Abstract This investigation was aimed: (1) to develop the model of interest and talent test using ANN; (2) to obtain the results of functionality examination of interest and talent test which is developed using ANN; and (3) to obtain the results of the performance from the examination of interest and talent test which is developed using ANN to predict students\u27 aptitude in robotics. This study was a research and development. Subjects were divided into two trials, limited trial was given to 10 trainee students, and wider trial was tested on the 31 students. From the analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) the success of the products developed had some model specifications as follows; (a) ANN was built with a single-layered structure, the answers to the test was the input and the conclusion of the test was as output. (b) ANN learning model used a neural network perceptron method with activation of the ANN using bipolar model (symmetric hard limit). (2) The learning process was guided by the 10 patterns that could be weighted appropriately to distinguish 10 patterns, based on testing in reverse. (3) Extensive testing showed the developed product was able to predict the aptitude of students in the field of robotics, by distinguishing 31 different student examination result pattern using the weights obtained from the 10 patterns of learning

    Perbandingan Keefektifan Pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dan Problem Solving Ditinjau dari Prestasi Belajar Peluang, Kemampuan Penalaran, dan Sikap Siswa terhadap Matematika

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran guided inquiry dan problem solving, serta perbedaan kedua pembelajaran tersebut yang ditinjau dari prestasi belajar peluang, kemampuan penalaran siswa, dan sikap siswa terhadap matematika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-postest nonequivalent comparison-group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Baubau yang dikelompokan sebanyak 10 kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak dua kelas yang dipilih secara acak. Untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran digunakan uji one sample t-test; untuk mengetahui perbedaan keefektifan menggunakan uji MANOVA (multivariate tests); untuk mengetahui pembelajaran mana yang lebih efektif menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) pendekatan pembelajaran guided inquiry dan pembelajaran problem solving masing-masing efektif ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, kemampuan penalaran siswa, dan sikap siswa terhadap matematika, (2) pendekatan pembelajaran guided inquiry sama efektifnya dengan pembelajaran problem solving ditinjau dari prestasi belajar dan sikap siswa terhadap matematika, dan (3) pendekatan pembelajaran guided inquiry lebih efektif dari pada pembelajaran problem solving ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran siswa. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran guided inquiry, pembelajaran problem solving, prestasi belajar, penalaran matematika, dan sikap siswa terhadap matematika Comparison of Effectiveness Between Guided Inquiry Learning Approach and Problem Solving on Learning Achievement Probability, Reasoning Ability and Attitude Toward Mathematics Abstract This study aimed to describe the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning and problem solving, as well as those learning a second difference is in terms of achievement of learning opportunities, reasoning ability of students, and students\u27 attitudes toward mathematics. This research is a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest nonequivalent comparison-group design. The population in this study were all students of Class XI SMAN 2 Baubau to be grouped as much as 10 classes. The sample in this study were two randomly selected classes. To determine the effectiveness of study used a test of one sample t-test; to determine differences in the effectiveness of using test MANOVA (multivariate tests); to know which one is more effective learning using independent sample t-test test. The results of this study are: (1) guided inquiry approach to learning and teaching problem solving each effective in terms of achievement of learning, reasoning ability of students, and students\u27 attitudes toward mathematics, (2) guided inquiry learning approach is as effective as the learning problem solving in terms of achievement learning and students \u27attitudes toward mathematics, and 3) guided inquiry learning approach is more effective than learning problem solving in terms of students\u27 mathematical reasoning abilities.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model pengaruh lingkungan sosial terhadap aspek individu (prokrastinasi akademik, self-regulated learning, dan self-efficacy) dan hubungannya dengan prestasi akademik mahasiswa pendidikan matematika. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 1.285 mahasiswa pendidikan matematika di tiga perguruan tinggi di Kota Jambi. Sampel dipilih dengan cara purposif bersamaan dengan stratifikasi dua angkatan mahasiswa pendidikan matematika, selanjutnya diambil secara acak 260 mahasiswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala Likert. Validitas instrumen menggunakan validitas isi dan validitas konstruk. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model persamaan struktural (SEM), analisis faktor konfirmatori (CFA), dan t-test. SEM dan CFA digunakan untuk menguji secara kuantitatif model kausalitas simultan variabel penelitian baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung serta menguji apakah konstruk teoritis yang dimodelkan didukung oleh data yang dikumpulkan, sedangkan t-test digunakan untuk menguji secara statistik perbedaan rata-rata skor setiap variabel dilihat dari gender. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model persaman struktural yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan data yang dikumpulkan. Gender berpengaruh terhadap perbedaan setiap variabel, kecuali alasan penundaan. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh lingkungan sosial terhadap aspek individu (prokrastinasi akademik, self-regulated learning dan self-efficacy) dan terdapat hubungannya dengan prestasi akade-mik mahasiswa pendidikan matematika. THE EFFECTS OF SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT ON INDIVIDUAL ASPECTS AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT OF THE STUDENTS OF MATHEMATICS EDUCATION DEPARTMENTS Abstract This study aims to describe the models of the effect of social environment on individual aspects (academic procrastination, self-regulated learning, and self-efficacy) and their relationship with the academic achievement of the students of mathematics education departments. The population was 1.285 under graduate students of mathematics education departments at three universities in Jambi. The sample was established purposively along with the stratification sampling, from which subsequent subjects were randomly selected 260 students from the population. The data were collected through Likert-scale. The instrument validity was in term of the content validity and construct validity. The data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling (SEM), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and t-test. SEM and CFA were used to test quantitatively the model of simultaneous causality, either directly or indirectly and to test whether the theoretical constructs were supported by the data collected, while the t-test were used to find out statistically the differences of the mean score of each variable in terms of gender. The result of the study shows that the structural equation model developed appropriate (fit) with the data collected. It was found that gender affects the differences in all variables, except the reasons for procrastination. The result also indicate that there are effect of social environment on individual aspects (academic procrastination, self-regulated learning, and self-efficacy) and there is relationship with the academic achievement of the students of mathematics education departments.     Pengembangan perangkat assessment pembelajaran matematika pokok bahasan geometri dan pengukuran SMP/MTs

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan produk perangkat assessment pembelajaran pada pokok bahasan geometri dan pengukuran yang berorientasi pada aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap peserta didik SMP/MTs kelas VII dan VIII sebagai hasil pengembangan berdasarkan kajian teori, pendapat ahli, dan pendapat pengguna dengan kualifikasi baik; dan (2) mendeskripsikan kualitas produk assessment pembelajaran pada pokok bahasan geometri dan pengukuran yang berorientasi pada aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap peserta didik SMP/MTs kelas VII dan VIII berdasarkan aspek kevalidan, kepratisan dan keefektifan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menghitung reliabilitas dengan menggunakan α-reliability, untukα ‰¥ 60 maka reliabel. Percentage of Agrements (PA) untuk mengetahui tingkat kesepakatan antar pengamat, dengan PA ‰¥ 70 maka tepenuhi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) produk pengembangan perangkat assessment pembelajaran pokok bahasan geometri dan pengukuran yang berorientasi pada aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap peserta didik SMP/MTs kelas VII dan VIII sebagai hasil pengembangan berdasarkan kajian teori, pendapat ahli, dan pendapat pengguna mencapai tarap kualifikasi baik. (2) kualitas produk assessment pembelajaran pada pokok bahasan geometri dan pengukuran yang berorientasi pada aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap peserta didik SMP/MTs kelas VII dan VIII berdasarkan aspek kevalidan, kepratisan dan keefektifan telah terpenuhi dengan kualitas baik. Developing Mathematic Assessment Product of Learning Geometric and Measuring for Students Junior High School Abstract The objectives of this research were: (1) to develop mathematic assessment product of learning tools for geometric and measuring subject that was oriented to knowledge, skill, and attitude aspect for students of junior high school grade 7 and 8 according to literature, expert judgement, and user\u27s opinion that has good qualification; (2) to know the quality of assessment product of geometric and measuring learning tools that was oriented to knowledge, skill, and attitude aspect of students in Junior High School grade 7 and 8 according to validity, effiiciency, and effectiveness aspect. The data were analyzed usingα-reliability and precentage of aggrement (PA). It\u27s realiable forα ‰¥ 60, while the precentage of aggrement was to know the agreement between observer, it\u27s fulfilled if PA ‰¥ 70. The results of this research show that: (1) the development product assessment of learning tools for geometric and mesuring subject that is oriented to knowledge, skill, and attitude aspect for students of junior high school grade 7 and 8 according to literature, expert judgement, and user\u27s opinion has good qualification; (2) the quality of assessment product of geometric and measuring learning tools that is oriented to knowledge, skill, and attitude aspect of students in Junior High School grade 7 and 8 according to validity, efficiency, and effectiveness aspect is fulfilled well.
