    Development of learning modules of basic electronics-based problem solving in Vocational Secondary School

    This research aims to: (1) developing a basic electronics learning modules based on problem solving, (2) knowing the response of students and teachers towards basic electronics learning module based on problem solving, (3) knowing the increase in student learning outcomes on subjects Basic electronics. This research method using Research and Development approach to model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subject of this research development are the first grade of Installation Technique of Electricity Power at SMK Negeri 2 Pandeglang as much as 118 students and 3 teachers on Basic electronics subject of SMK Negeri 2 Pandeglang. Furthermore, data collected by the questionnaire and test. Test validity and reliability for the question form is done with a technique Pearson Correlation coefficient obtained 0.88 and coefficient value of Cronbach\u27s Alpha is 0.892. The results of this research are showed that: 1) the basic electronics learning modules based on problem solving that developed in its entirety was declared eligible for use, with the result average of validation of material categories include very decent, and the result average of validation of media categories include very decent too. The readability is included in category of very decent and in terms of learning to use the modules is included in the category of very decent. Using modules in the learning process are known there is increasing with the average value of the students learning outcomes of 68.53 rises to 80.24. T-test analysis results known tcalculate = 11.76 and ttable = 1.69 which means that the student learning outcomes has a significant improvemen

    Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran matematika SMP kelas VIII semester genap dengan model problem-based learning

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika SMP kelas VIII semester genap dengan model problem-based learning berorientasi pada prestasi belajar, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan sikap percaya diri siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan model Plomp (penelitian awal, pengembangan, penilaian). Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Katolik Maria Goretti Ende. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengkonversi data kuantitatif berupa skor hasil penilaian menjadi data kualitatif berupa nilai standar skala lima. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika kelas VIII semester genap berupa RPP dan LKS. Dari hasil validasi ahli, skor penilaian guru, penilaian siswa, observasi keterlaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran, tes prestasi belajar, tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan angket sikap percaya diri menunjukkan bahwa RPP dan LKS adalah valid, praktis, dan efektif. Kata Kunci: Perangkat pembelajaran, problem-based learning, prestasi belajar, pemecahan masalah, percaya diri Developing Mathematics Learning Kits Using the Problem-Based Learning Model for Grade VIII of JHS in the Even Semester Abstract This study aimed to produce mathematics learning kits using the problem based learning model oriented to the learning achievement, problem solving skill, and self-confidence for Grade VIII students of the junior high school (JHS) in the even semester. This study was and development study used the development model by Plomp (preliminary study, development, evaluation). The research subjects were teachers and students of Grade VIII of Swasta Katolik Maria Goretti Ende. The analysis of the data was done by converting the quantitative data in the form scores as the results of the evaluation into qualitative data in the form of five-scale standard scores. This study produce mathematics learning kits in the form of lesson plans and student worksheets for Grade VIII students of the junior high school in the even semester. Of the results of expert validation, a teacher evaluation scores, a students evaluation scores, an observation for the implementation of learning activities, a learning achievement test, a problem solving skil test, and a self-confidence questionnaire show that lesson plans (RPP) and student worksheets (LKS) is valid, practical, and effective.     The Beauty Concept is changing from time to time, from the classic beauty that walksin harmony with the nature to the subjectivity of postmodern beauty. Nevertheless,the beauty standard is often constructed by the media by using certain type of models.The problem is this one standard is applied into all over the world. Indonesia is noexception. The Shinzui Body Cleanser\u27s advertisement is one of the advertisementthat construct this standard into consumer\u27s mind. This advertisement claims to bemade by Japanese nature\u27s extracts and identified beauty as Japanese woman\u27s whiteskin. Thus, this research aims to know how the consumer\u27s reseption analysis towardsthe concept of beauty in the Shinzui advertisement are. This research uses receptionanalysis method by interviewing particular respondents. It uses the Encoding DecodingModel by Stuart Hall. Based on the theory, the result shows there are three categoriesin this advertisement. One person in the category of Dominant Hegemonic, one personin the category of Negotiated Reading and two persons in the category of OppositionalReading.AbstrakKonsep kecantikan terus mengalami perubahan, dari kecantikan klasik yang senadadengan alam hingga kecantikan postmodern yang begitu subyektif. Meskipun demikian,standar kecantikan seringkali dikonstruksi oleh media melalui penggunaan model- model perempuan dengan tipe tertentu. Yang menjadi persoalan adalah saat satustandar kemudian digunakan di seluruh dunia. Tak terkecuali Indonesia yang mengalamipergeseran standar kecantikan. Iklan Shinzui Body Cleanser merupakan salah satuiklan yang membangun konstruksi tersebut kepada target konsumen Indonesia. Iklanini menggunakan bahan - bahan alami Jepang dan berupaya mengidentikan kecantikansebagai kulit putih wanita Jepang. Maka penelitian ini berusaha mengetahui bagaimanaanalisis resepsi konsumen terhadap konsep kecantikan iklan Shinzui. Penelitian inimenggunakan metode analisis resepsi dengan melakukan wawancara kepada respondenyang telah memenuhi kriteria tertentu. Teori yang digunakan adalah Teori Interpretasidan Negosiasi Makna oleh Stuart Hall. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 kategoriresepsi dalam iklan Shinzui pada penonton.     Korelasi perubahan nilai VO2max, eritrosit, hemoglobin dan hematokrit setelah latihan high intensity interval training

    Kebugaran kardiorespirasi memungkinkan aktivitas fisik dalam waktu lama dan memerlukan oksigen untuk mendapatkan energi. Transpor oksigen dimediasi oleh hemoglobin yang terdapat dalam eritrosit. Kebugaran kardiorespirasi dapat diukur berdasarkan nilai VO2max. Metode latihan High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) terbukti dapat meningkatkan VO2max. Namun belum jelas apakah peningkatan VO2max diiringi dan berhubungan dengan perubahan nilai hemoglobin, eritrosit dan hematokrit. Penelitian ini mempelajari korelasi perubahan nilai VO2max, hemoglobin, eritrosit dan hematokrit sebelum dan sesudah latihan HIIT selama 8 minggu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, VO2max meningkat sebesar 7,33±4,03 (ml·kg-1·min-1) atau 20,36% (p\u3c0,05), hemoglobin dan eritrosit meningkat sebesar 0,04±0,63 atau 0,24% (p\u3e0,05) dan 0,02±0,22·106/µL atau 0,32% (p\u3e0,05) sedangkan hematokrit mengalami penurunan sebesar 0,12±2% dari volume darah atau 0,27% (p\u3e0,05) dari nilai pre-test. Uji korelasi menunjukkan ada hubungan (p\u3c0,05) antara perubahan nilai hemoglobin, eritrosit dan hematokrit, namun tidak terdapat hubungan (p\u3e0,05) dengan peningkatan VO2max. Correlation of Change in VO2Max, Hemoglobin, Erythrocytes, and Hematocrit After High Intensity Interval Training Abstract Cardiorespiratory fitness allows physical activity for a long time and requires oxygen to gain energy. Oxygen transport mediated by hemoglobin present in erythrocytes. Cardiorespiratory fitness can be measured based on VO2max values. High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) have been shown to improve VO2max. It is not clear whether the increase in VO2max is accompanied and associated with changes in hemoglobin, erythrocyte and hematocrit values. This study aim to find out the correlation of VO2max, hemoglobin, erythrocyte and hematocrit changes before and after HIIT for 8 weeks. The results VO2max increased by 7.33±4.03 (ml·kg-1·min-1) or 20.36% (p\u3c0.05), hemoglobin and erythrocytes increased by 0.04±0.63 or 0.24% (p\u3e0.05) and 0.02±0.22·106/μL or 0.32% (p\u3e0.05) whereas the hematocrit decreased by 0.12±2% of blood volume or 0.27% (p\u3e0.05) of the pre-test value. The correlation test showed a correlation (p\u3c0.05) between changes in hemoglobin, erythrocyte and hematocrit values, but no relationship (p\u3e0.05) with increased VO2max

    The developing teaching practice model as an effort to improve the quality of mechanical engineering vocational school teachers

    This research aims to develop teaching practice program model for mechanical engineering education teacher trainees of State University of Surabaya. This research applied research and development (R & D) design by Borg & Gall in ten steps which are classified into two stages: research and data collection and product development. The research and data collection were conducted by applying qualitative approach through observation, interview, documentation on seven State \u27LPTK\u27, education office, teacher profession association, teaching practice student, teaching practice supervising lecturer, headmaster, and teacher tutor. The data analysis in this stage was conducted based on the technique developed by Miles and Huberman. Data validity was tested with data triangulation using double sources as comparison. The product development stage included model pre-design making, introductory test, model revision, model test, model revision, field test, and final model revision. First stage model test was conducted in mechanical engineering department with three vocational schools. The second stage model test was conducted in mechanical engineering department with six vocational schools. The last is dissemination stage in the form of spreading the model yielded from the product development to professionals, authorities, and policy makers. The result at this research is a teaching practice model called KPrIP2 which consists of four main product components. K means partnership between Mechanical Engineering Department of State University of Surabaya and the education office of province/ regency/city in continuous planning, action, and evaluation. Pr means pre-teaching practice in which the students do introductory activities in vocational schools to observe and coordinate with the school\u27s department to determine who will be the teacher tutor and what material/subject to be used in the teaching practice II. I means that all pre-teaching practice activities, starting from classroom peer-teaching, laboratory peer-teaching, microteaching, and real teaching in vocational school, are conducted individually and independently. P2 means that teaching service activities must be supervised by competent/professional advisors, i.e. who have the same pedagogical and major background with the students who do the teaching practice and play role as the supervising lecturer of teaching practice I which is continued to be the advisor in teaching practice II.     Penerapan skema tanda tangan Schnorr pada pembuatan tanda tangan digital

    Tanda tangan digital dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu cara untuk menjamin keaslian pesan atau informasi yang diterima. Salah satu skema yang dapat digunakan dalam membentuk tanda tangan adalah skema tanda tangan Schnorr. Skema tanda tangan ini berdasarkan pada masalah logaritma diskret. Skema ini memerlukan penggunaan fungsi hash yang akan menghasilkan nilai hash pesan untuk pembuatan tanda tangan, yang menjadi salah satu alasan keamanan dari skema ini. Skema tanda tangan Schnorr terdiri dari tiga proses, yaitu: pembentukan kunci, pembuatan tanda tangan serta verifikasi. Kajian ini akan membahas mengenai skema tanda tangan Schnorr dalam membentuk tanda tangan digital sebagai pengaman keaslian informasi, yang dibahas per prosesnya, meliputi: pembentukan kunci, pembuatan tanda tangan yang disertai perhitungan nilai hash serta verifikasi. Hasil dari kajian ini adalah didapatkan algoritma - algoritma dari skema tanda tangan Schnorr, yaitu algoritma pembentukan kunci publik dan kunci privat, algoritma pembuatan tanda tangan, serta algoritma verifikasi tanda tangan. Implementation of Schnorr Signature Scheme in The Form of Digital Signature Abstract Digital signature can be used as a way to ensure the authenticity of a received message or information. There is a scheme that can be used to form a signature called Schnorr signature scheme. This signature scheme is based on discrete logarithm problem. This scheme requires the use of hash function that will result to a message digest to form the signature, which is the reason of this scheme\u27s security. Schnorr signature scheme consists of three processes, namely: the key generation, signature formation, and verification. This study will discuss the Schnorr signature scheme in the form of digital signatures as a safeguard of an information\u27s authenticity, which is discussed process by process, including: the key generation, signature formation as well as the calculation of message digest and verification. The results of this study obtained algorithms - algorithms of Schnorr signature scheme, which is an algorithm of a public key and a private key generation, an algorithm of the signature formation, and an algorithm of signature verification.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar statistika dan peluang berbasis multiple intelligences berorientasi pada prestasi belajar, kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan rasa ingin tahu siswa SMP kelas VII yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Bahan ajar yang dihasilkan memuat konteks, ilustrasi, dan aktivitas yang bervariasi. Terdapat bagian peta konsep, tokoh kita, cari tahu, ingat kembali, pahami masalah, mengamati, gali informasi, menalar, diskusi dan berbagi, pahami contoh, motivasi, melatih diri, pecahkan masalah, proyek mandiri, pecahkan teka-teki, ruang ekspresi, dan uji kompetensi pada struktur bahan ajar. Prosedur pengembangan menggunakan 5 tahapan yaitu: (1) Analisis, (2) Perancangan, (3) Pengembangan (4) Implementasi, dan (5) Evaluasi. Subjek uji coba adalah siswa kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 4 Kalibening, Kabupaten Banjarnegara yang terdiri atas 26 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri atas lembar validasi, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar penilaian kepraktisan oleh siswa, lembar penilaian kepraktisan oleh guru, dan instrumen keefektifan bahan ajar. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengkonversi total skor data kuantitatif yang diperoleh menjadi data kualitatif skala lima. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan rasa ingin tahu siswa. The teaching material that contains contexts, illustrations, and various activities. There is part of a map the concept, our figure, find out, remember back, understand the problem, observation, dig it information, reasoning, discussion and share, understand example, motivation, train themselves, problem-solving, project self-sufficient, riddles solving, the expression, and the test competency on the structure of teaching material. The quality is determined based on Nieveen criteria, including validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study was a research and development using Branch (ADDIE) model which consisted of 5 (five) steps, that is: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The subject of this research were 26 students of grade VIIA SMP Negeri 4 Kalibening-Kabupaten Banjarnegara. The research instrument included validation sheets, observation sheets for learning implementation, questionnaires for teachers and students, and the effectiveness instrument. The data analysis was done by converting the total score of the quantitative data into qualitative data in rating scale of five.     Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model pembelajaran pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja untuk siswa sekolah dasar kelas atas. Model yang dikembangkan adalah teknik forehand dan backhand yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik siswa SD kelas atas. Model pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja bertujuan agar digunakan guru dalam penyelenggaraan kegiatan belajar mengajar tenis meja untuk siswa SD kelas atas. Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua tahapan yaitu tahap penelitian pendahuluan dan tahap pengembangan. Hasil penelitian berupa pengembangan model pembelajaran pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja terdiri atas: (1) teknik dasar peganggan, (2) kontrol bola dan (3) teknik dasar memantulkan bola. Model disusun dalam buku panduan berjudul pengembangan model pembelajaran pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja siswa SD kelas atas . Berdasarkan penilaian para ahli materi dan guru disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan model pembelajaran pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja untuk siswa SD kelas atas layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran tenis meja untuk siswa SD kelas atas. Kata Kunci: model, pengenalan, tenis meja, SD kelas atas Developing a Learning Model of Introduction to Table Tennis Basic Techniques for Elementary School Upper Class Students Abstract This research aims to produce a model of the introduction to the basic techniques of learning table tennis for elementary school upper class students. The model are developed covering forehand and backhand table tennis, that adapted characteristics of elementary school upper class students. Introduction to the basic model of table tennis techniques was used by the teacher in teaching and learning activities of upper grade students. The development of research carried out by adapting the steps of research development consisting of two stages: preliminary research stage and development stage. The results of the research are a development learning model of the introduction to basic techniques of table tennis consisting of: (1) grip basic technique, (2) Ball control basic technique, and (3) Hit ball basic technique. Models arranged in a handbook entitled Introduction to basic engineering models of table tennis . Based on the assessment of matter experts and teachers, it can be concluded that the model of learning the basic techniques of table tennis for upper classes is with the curriculum.
