NGSS-oriented chemistry test instruments: Validity and reliability analysis with the Rasch model
The instrument of measuring test attributes must be valid and reliable. This study was carried out since the validity and reliability testing of the chemistry items used by the testee is necessary. This study aims to estimate the validity and determine the reliability of chemical test instruments oriented Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). The research was conducted through a quantitative descriptive approach in two vocational schools of engineering program which had 130 testees. The instrument used was an NGSS-oriented chemistry test instrument containing 35 items and an expert validation questionnaire. The obtained test participant\u27s response from the test instrument was collected through the documentation method. Item in NGSS test were presented to three subject matters experts. The validities used were the content validity and the construct validity. The reliability was tested through internal consistency and interrater consistency approaches. The results show that content validity (Aiken\u27s V) is at a range of 0.50 to 1.00. The value of the unexplained variance is less than 10%, which means that it is well-categorized. This analysis is strengthened by CFA which has a goodness of fit and a good measurement model fit. The parameters used to test model fit are CFI, NFI, RMSEA and the value of loading factor. Some results values are over 0.90 and RMSEA is 0.00 and more than 0.3 of loading factor value on each item. All scales had alpha reliability more than the criteria of 0.70. Thus, the developed chemical test item were proven as valid and reliable instruments
Description of student science process skills on temperature and heat practicum
This study aimed to describe the science process skills of Senior High School 8 Muaro Jambi students on temperature and heat material (shape changes). The approach used in this study is an approach with a quantitative method that uses a research design using Survey Research design. The sample used in this study was Senior High School 8 Muaro Jambi, totaling 96 students of grade XI MIPA 1 to XI MIPA 3 odd semester 2019/2020. Data collection techniques in this study were observation and interviews. The observations of students\u27 mastery of science process skills showed a percentage of 55.2% classified as poor. This means that students have low process skills. The lack of students\u27 process skills is because the teacher dominates the learning process more. The learning process is still oriented towards mastering the material, and rarely does the experiment. This is in line with interviews conducted by researchers
Pengembangan Modul Praktik Sistem Audio dengan Pendekatan Proyek
Pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa menuntut keaktifan peserta didik. Keaktifan belajar peserta didik dapat didukung melalui pengembangan media pembelajaran. Pendekatan pada model pembelajaran proyek dinilai tepat untuk mengembangkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik. Jobsheet praktikum mata kuliah sistem Audio belum mendukung keaktifan belajar peserta didik. Mata kuliah tersebut memerlukan modul praktik yang memicu keaktifan peserta didik agar memiliki pemahaman materi dan tertib melakukan kegiatan praktik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kelayakan modul praktik Sistem Audio yang mendukung keaktifan belajar. Tahapan pengembangan media pembelajaran meliputi: (1) identifikasi potensi dan masalah; (2) pengumpulan informasi; (3) desain produk; (4) penyusunan modul; (5) validasi desain; (6) perbaikan desain; (7) uji coba pemakaian; (8) revisi produk; dan (9) penyebaran produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul praktik sistem audio yang sudah direalisasikan mendapatkan validasi oleh ahli materi sebesar 88,4 %, oleh ahli media sebesar 80,7%; dan uji pemakaian oleh peserta didik sebesar 81,25%. Ketiga penilaian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media pada kategori sangat layak digunakan. Dari ketiga perolehan tersebut, modul praktik sistem audio sangat layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar peserta didik. Modul Pembelajaran berbasis proyek dinilai mampu mendukung aspek kemandirian dan sejalan dengan penerapan pembelajaran andragogi. Hasil ini dapat ditindaklanjuti untuk mengetahui penerapan modul pembelajaran berbasis proyek di kelas untuk meningkatkan kemandirian dan keterlibatan peserta didik
Kendali Fuzzy Logic - Interleaved Boost Converter pada Aplikasi Motor DC
Karakteristik motor DC menjadi hal mutlak yang perlu diketahui dalam proses pengendalian kecepatan penggerak elektrik. Konverter pengemudian elektrik yang sedang berkembang yaitu Interleaved Boost Converter. Pengendali fuzzy logic merupakan kendali yang efektif diterapkan banyak sistem linier maupun nonlinier dengan waktu operasi yang cepat. Hasil penerapan aplikasi motor DC berupa penyiram kecambah dapat berfungsi dengan baik pada variasi nilai setpoint kecepatan yang mana perubahan nilai tegangan keluaran berbanding lurus dengan perubahan kecepatan motor DC (30 Volt sd. 60 Volt ‰ˆ 800 Rpm sd 1500 Rpm). Hal ini dapat membantu para petani kecambah dalam melakukan penyiraman biji kecambah secara otomatis seiring dengan perubahan suhu sekitar tanpa khawatir biji kecambah rusak
Investigation of multiple intelligence of primary school students
The aim of this research is to investigate the ability of multiple intelligence (MI) of male and female students from primary school. The total sample was 71 students consisting of 35 experimental group students and 36 in the control group in a primary school in Cilegon City, 2016-2017 academic year. In this study, the experimental group consisted of male students using learning with the MI and the control group consisted of female students using learning with the MI approach. Analysis of data obtained from this study, using the Independent Sample t-test and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The findings of this study indicate that there is a statistically significant difference between the ability of MI in the experimental group and the control group, where the average score experimental group is higher. These results can be seen in the average score of MI ability in the experimental group is higher in visual-spatial, music, logical-mathematical, interpersonal and bodily-kinesthetic intelligence. The average score of MI ability in the control group is higher in verbal-linguistic, naturalistic, and intrapersonal. These concluded that the results of the Investigation of Multiple Intelligence (MI) of Primary School Students in the experimental group (male students) were better than the control group (female students)
Effectiveness of next generation science standards based 5e learning model by utilizing local potential
This study aims at revealing the effectiveness of the next generation science standards based 5E learning model by utilizing the local potential of environmental education centre Puntondo to enhance students\u27 data literacy and problem-solving abilities. This research can be categorized as an experimental study. The subjects of this study were the seventh grade students of State Junior High School 2 Takalar. Two classes were involved, totaling 64 students. The data collection technique was carried out by using the test instrument. The data analysis technique used the gain score test and t-test analysis. The results showed that the gain score for the two classes for both abilities was in the medium category, with a value indicating that the gain from the experimental class was greater than the control class. Meanwhile, the t-test value is Sig. (2.tailed) data literacy of 0.003 and problem solving of 0.008. The acquisition of the value of the two abilities shows that the Sig. (2.tailed) is less than 0.05. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the NGSS-based 5E learning model by utilizing the local potential of EEC Puntondo is considered effective to enhance the data literacy and problem-solving abilities
Latihan bodyweight dengan total-body resistance exercise (TRX) dapat meningkatkan kekuatan otot
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan bodyweight dengan Total-body Resistance Exercise (TRX) terhadap Peningkatan Kekuatan Otot. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah members The Fitlab Hotel Tara. Instrumen yang digunakan leg and back dynamometer untuk mengukur kekuatan otot tungkai dan punggung, hand grip dynamometer untuk mengukur kekuatan otot tangan, dan pull and push dynamometer untuk mengukur kekuatan menarik dan mendorong otot lengan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis dengan analisis uji t (paired sample t test). Hasil penelitian diperoleh persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan otot tungkai sebesar 6,88 %, persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan otot punggung sebesar 10,17%, persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan otot tangan sebesar 10,4%, persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan menarik otot lengan sebesar 8,67%, persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan mendorong otot lengan sebesar 11,26%. Dengan demikian disimpulkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan bodyweight dengan total-body resistance exercise (TRX) terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot yang meliputi peningkatan kekuata otot tungkai, kekuatan otot punggung, kekuatan otot tangan, kekuatan menarik otot lengan, dan kekuatan mendorong otot lengan.

Abstract
This research aims to determine the effect of bodyweight training with Total-body Resistance Exercise (TRX) to the Improvement of Muscle Strength. This research used experimental research methods. The research design in this study was using one-group pretest-posttest design. The subject of the study is members of The Fitlab Tara Hotel. The instruments that have been used are leg and back dynamometer for measure the leg and back muscle strength, hand grip dynamometer for measure the hand muscle strength, and pull and push dynamometer for measure the pulling and pushing arm muscle strength. Data analysis techniques used hypothesis testing with t test analysis (paired sample t test). Based on the results of the study obtained, the percentage increase in leg muscle strength is 6.88%, the percentage increase in back muscle strength is 10.17%, the percentage increase in the hand muscle Strength is 10.4%, the percentage increase in the strength of pulling arm muscles is 8,67%, the percentage increase in the strength of pushing arm muscles is 11.26%. Thus, it was concluded that there was a significant effect of bodyweight training with total-body resistance exercise (TRX) on increasing muscle strength including increased strength of leg muscles, strength of back muscles, strength of hand muscles, strength of pulling arm muscles, and strength of pushing arm muscles
Efektivitas stretching, passive activity dan VO2 Max dalam mencegah terjadinya delayed onset muscle soreness
Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan efektivitas active isolated stretching dan passive activity dalam mencegah terjadinya delayed onset muscle soreness setelah olahraga intensitas tinggi; (2) Untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan efektivitas antara VO2Max tinggi dan VO2Max rendah dalam mencegah terjadinya delayed onset muscle soreness setelah olahraga intensitas tinggi; (3) Untuk mengetahui apakah ada interaksi antara active isolated stretching dan passive activity dengan VO2Max dalam mencegah terjadinya delayed onset muscle soreness setelah olahraga intensitas tinggi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Bentuk penelitian menggunakan rancangan faktorial 2x2. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan menggunakan rumus dari Issac & Michael, sehingga didapat sampel sebanyak 40 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang penulis lakukan pada penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) tidak ada perbedaan efektivitas Active Isolated Stretching dan passive activity dalam mencegah terjadinya Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness setelah olahraga intensitas tinggi. (2) Tidak ada perbedaan efektivitas antara VO2Max tinggi dan VO2Max rendah dalam mencegah terjadinya Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness setelah olahraga intensitas tinggi. (3) Tidak ada interaksi antara Active Isolated Stretching, Passive Activity dengan VO2Max dalam mencegah terjadinya Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness setelah olahraga intensitas tinggi.

Abstract
The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine whether there are differences in the effectiveness of active isolated stretching and passive activity in preventing the delayed onset of muscle soreness after high-intensity exercise; (2) To find out whether there is a difference in effectiveness between high VO2Max and low VO2Max in preventing the delayed onset of muscle soreness after high-intensity exercise; (3) To determine whether there is an interaction between active isolated stretching and passive activity with VO2Max in preventing the delayed onset of muscle soreness after high-intensity exercise. The method used in this research is an experiment. The analysis uses a 2x2 factorial design. Based on the results of research and discussion that the authors do in this study, it can be concluded that:(1) there is no difference in the effectiveness of Active Isolated Stretching and passive activity in preventing Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness after high-intensity exercise. (2) There is no difference in efficacy between high VO2Max and low VO2Max in preventing Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness after high-intensity exercise. (3) There is no interaction between Active Isolated Stretching, Passive Activity with VO2Max in preventing Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness after high-intensity exercise
Pengujian validitas, reliabilitas, dan relevansi norma penilaian dyer tennis test terhadap tingkat keterampilan bermain tenis
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menguji tingkat validitas norma penilaian Dyer Tennis Test terhadap tingkat keterampilan bermain tenis mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (FIK UNY); (2) menguji tingkat reliabilitas norma penilaian Dyer Tennis Test terhadap tingkat kete-rampilan bermain tenis; (3) menguji relevansi norma penilaian Dyer Tennis Test terhadap tingkat keterampilan bermain tenis. Penelitian deskriptif ini menggunakan metode survey. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan pengukuran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Koefisien validitas Dyer Tennis Test (X) dan Ranking Hasil Pertandingan ½ kompetisi Putera (Y) = -0,968 dan Hasil Pertandingan ½ kompetisi Putera Puteri (Y) = -0,997. Dengan demikian Dyer Tennis Test dapat digunakan (acceptable) sebagai instrumen penilaian untuk mengukur tingkat keterampilan bermain tenis bagi mahasiswa putera (Y) dan Puteri (Y) FIK UNY. (2) Koefisien reliabilitas Dyer Tennis Test putera = 0,994 dan puteri = 0,894 sangat bagus sebagai instrumen yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat keterampilan bermain tenis bagi mahasiswa FIK UNY; (3) Norma Penilaian Dyer Tennis Test masih sangat relevan digunakan sebagai instrumen penilaian untuk mengukur tingkat keterampilan bermain tenis bagi mahasiswa putera dan putri FIK UNY.
Testing the validity, reliability, and relevance of the dyer tennis test assessment on tennis playing skills
Abstract
This study aims to: (1) to test the validity level of the Dyer Tennis Test assessment norms on the level of playing tennis skills of FIK UNY students, (2) to test the reliability level of the Dyer Tennis Test assessment norm on the level of playing tennis skills, (3) to test the relevance of Dyer\u27s norm assessment of Tennis Test on the skill level of playing tennis. This research was descriptive with the survey method. Data collection used tests and measurements. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: (1) The coefficient of the Dyer Tennis Test validity (X) and the Ranking of the Match Results male\u27s half competition (Y) = -0,968 and the results of the female\u27s half competition (Y) = -0.997. Thus, the Dyer Tennis Test can be used (acceptable) as an assessment instrument to measure the level of tennis skills for male (Y) and female (Y) students of FIK UNY. (2) The reliability coefficient of the men\u27s Dyer Tennis Test = 0.994 and the women\u27s = 0.894 is very good as an instrument that can be used to measure the level of playing tennis skills for FIK UNY students; (3) Dyer Tennis Test Assessment Norms are still very relevant to be used as an assessment instrument to measure the level of playing tennis skills for male and female students of FIK UNY
Implementation of problem-based learning to improve problem-solving skills in vocational high school
The learning process in Vocational High Schools must encourage students to have problem-solving skills needed in the industry through the application of appropriate learning models. In reality, the students\u27 problem-solving skills in computer subjects and basic networks are still lacking, and the Problem-Based Learning learning model has never been applied. This research aims to understand the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) to improve students\u27 problem-solving skills. This research is a class action research model of Kemmis and Taggart, carried out in three cycles; each cycle consisted of two meetings. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results show how PBL on computer subjects and basic networks can improve problem-solving skills. Improvements occurred in all aspects of observation. In problem-solving skills, 56.25% of the students in the above medium category in cycle I increased in cycle II to be 71.875% and increased again in cycle III to be 100%. This means that there are no students below the medium category in cycle III. PBL can improve problem-solving skills with the steps: (1) orienting students to the problem classically; (2) organizing students to study in a group work of four people and the division of tasks for each member; (3) guiding individual and group investigations on the same topic, discussed maximum in two groups; (4) developing and presenting the work done in front of the class with more time allocation in the discussion session; (5) analyzing and evaluating the problem-solving process that focuses on re-checking the results
