Penerapan IoT untuk Sistem Pemantauan Lampu Penerangan Jalan Umum
Penerangan jalan umum (PJU) digunakan untuk menerangi jalan, sehingga pengguna jalan mendukung kenyamanan dan keselamatan dimalam hari. Terdapat keterbatasan sistem pemeriksaan dan pelaporan kerusakaan lampu PJU. Artikel ini membahas penerapan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) untuk memantau gangguan kerusakan pada lampu PJU. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem pemantauan tersebut yaitu, kajian literatur, analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, pembuatan dan pengujian. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan sensor ZMPT101B, ACS 712, dan Modul WiFi ESP 8266-01. Sensor ZMPT101B digunakan untuk mengukur nilai tegangan PLN, sedangkan sensor ACS 712 merupakan sensor yang digunakan untuk mengukur arus pada lampu jalan. ESP8266-01 merupakan modul wifi yang dapat terhubung langsung dengan WiFi dan membuat koneksi TCP/IP sehingga dapat mengirim data dari mikrokontroler Arduino Mega2560 ke internet. Sistem pemantauan lampu PJU ini kemudian dapat diakses menggunakan antarmuka ThingSpeak baik dengan ponsel maupun laptop. Hasil pengujian sensor tegangan menunjukan tingkat akurasi sebesar 96,7%, parameter tegangan dan arus lampu ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik dan indikator. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat digunakan untuk memantau kondisi lampu PJU. Hal tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar pengembangan sistem selanjutnya berbasis sistem cerdas untuk mendukung lampu PJU sesuai SNI dan memiliki efisiensi energi
Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Pemasaran Produk Pertanian berbasis Website
Pengembangan sistem informasi pemasaran produk pertanian (SIPTANI) dibutuhkan untuk membantu para petani dalam memasarkan produk-produk pertanian khususnya di era pandemic Covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan sistem dengan model pengembangan prototype dengan studi kelayakan menggunakan standar ISO 9126. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan pengisian kuesioner oleh responden. Hasil pengujian aplikasi diperoleh dengan menganalisis aspek-aspek pada functional suitability, usability, compatibility, dan portability. Pada aspek functional suitability berada pada kategori layak diterima. Pada aspek usability, kategori sangat setuju memiliki dengan persentase 90%, sehingga aplikasi dinyatakan layak dan ditanggapi baik oleh pengguna. Pada aspek compatibility, sistem pemasaran pertanian ini dapat berjalan dengan baik. Pada aspek portability, aplikasi sistem permasaran pertanian dapat berjalan dengan baik
Experiential-based training to improve literacy skills of traditional game for tourism workers
This research aims to develop the literacy skills on the traditional game for tourism village workers through experiential-based training. Traditional game literacy is attitudes, knowledge, and skills in managing traditional games to make it more meaningful for life, sustainable, and keep people away from negative social changes. This research is participatory action research and conducted on 25 workers located in the Yogyakarta batik tourism village. Data collected and analyzed by using qualitative methods. The research results showed that the action of skill development able to the target group realized the importance of traditional game literacy in the context of developing tourism services, having the ability to manage tourism services based on traditional games, and forming traditional game tourism management. Therefore, this skill development needs to be carried out continuously and meaningfully by optimizing the involvement of all parties involved in tourism development
The praxis of project-based learning at PIKA Vocational Secondary School Semarang
This study aims to find out the praxis of project-based learning at PIKA Vocational Secondary School Semarang and to identify the advantages and disadvantages. The design of this research is a qualitative case study. The data collection techniques were in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The informants of this study were: principal, vice-principal, teachers, employees, and students. This study shows that: (1) there are two patterns of project-based learning at PIKA VSS Semarang. The first pattern is an internal internship program, and the second is learning a productive practice program. (2) The advantages of project-based learning are: (a) it trains the students\u27 sense of entrepreneurship; (b) it develops learning motivation; (c) it gives a complete, real and contextual learning experience; and (d) it develops the students\u27 hard skills and soft skills. The disadvantages of project-based learning are: (a) it requires the acquisition competencies to perform project assignments; (b) it takes times; (c) it requires high operational costs; (d) it requires adequate facilities
School management: The optimization of learning facilities to improve the quality of vocational schools
The creation of qualified graduates is a parameter of the implementation of quality education. Vocational schools become one of the learning places to produce quality human resources who are ready to enter the world of business and industry. Effective and efficient management of learning facilities and infrastructure is a leadership strategy of the school\u27s related parties to improve the quality of graduates. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case-study design. A total of three vocational schools in Sumedang Regency were selected as research sites. This research aims to understand, describe, and analyze the school principals\u27 leadership strategies in managing and developing learning facilities and infrastructure to improve their graduates\u27 quality. The research data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation studies, and field notes. The results show that despite all the problems due to the limited availability of practical equipment and the minimal cost allocated, vocational schools in Sumedang Regency can produce graduates with the industrial world\u27s certified expertise competencies. The use of learning facilities and infrastructure to improve graduates\u27 quality in the three vocational schools participating in the research has been running optimally. However, the strategy for developing learning facilities and infrastructure has not been implemented as expected. Planning, implementation, and supervision are stages that must be highly considered by school principals in managing learning facilities and infrastructure
Learning process analysis based on industrial products in mechanical practices
Revitalization of vocational education must be designed and developed according to the industry\u27s needs through appropriate learning innovations. The selection of suitable learning methods influences the graduate competencies and learning experiences of students. This study aims to analyze the learning process based on industrial products in mechanical practices. The learning process analysis includes giving apperceptions and motivation, mastering learning materials, learning strategies implementation, learning resources or media, involving students, and closing the learning process. The research used an experimental method with a static group comparison design. This study used two groups consisting of the experimental and control group with 20 respondents for each. The experimental group is respondents who used industrial products-based learning, and the control group is respondents who used conventional learning (job sheet-based). The research respondents were students of the Mechanical Engineering Department Universitas Negeri Semarang who have passed the Mechanical Process I lesson chosen by random sampling technique. Research data were collected using a teaching and learning process questionnaire, while the data analysis technique used is the Mann Whitney U Test and descriptive statistics. The research findings show that there are differences in the process of the mechanical practice using industrial products-based learning and conventional learning (job sheet-based). Implementation of learning with the gift of apperception and motivation, mastery of learning materials, application of learning strategies, assembling of learning resources or learning media, students\u27 participation in the learning process, and closing the learning process is better to use the industrial products-based learning compared to conventional learning
Analisis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita program linear berdasarkan Newman\u27s error analysis
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita program linear. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI SMAN 5 Kota Serang (n = 30). Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam analisis ini, kesalahan siswa dikategorikan berdasarkan Newman\u27s Error Analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak siswa yang melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita program linear. Kesalahan yang paling banyak terjadi adalah kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir, sedangkan kesalahan yang paling sedikit terjadi adalah kesalahan transformasi. Kesalahan membaca terjadi karena siswa tidak mampu memaknai kalimat dengan tepat dan tidak mampu menemukan kata kunci atau informasi dalam soal. Kesalahan memahami soal terjadi karena siswa keliru dalam menuliskan apa yang diketahui dan ditanyakan dalam soal. Kesalahan transformasi terjadi karena siswa tidak mampu mentransformasikan masalah ke dalam model matematika dan tidak teliti dalam melakukan operasi matematika. Kesalahan keterampilan proses terjadi karena siswa mengalami kesalahan prosedur seperti salah dalam menulis fungsi tujuan yang akan dicapai dan tidak dapat memproses lebih lanjut solusi dari penyelesaian soal. Kesalahan penulisan jawaban terjadi karena banyak siswa yang tidak menuliskan kesimpulan, menuliskan kesimpulan tetapi tidak tepat, serta menuliskan kesimpulan yang salah.
Analysis of students\u27 errors in solving word problems of the linear program based on Newman\u27s error analysis
Abstract
This study aimed to describe students\u27 errors in solving word problems of the linear program. This study\u27s subjects were eleventh-grade students of SMAN 5 (Senior High School) in Serang City (n = 30), Indonesia. Data collection using the written test and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis. In this analysis, students\u27 errors were categorized based on Newman\u27s Error Analysis. The results showed that many students made errors in solving word problems of the linear program. The most common error was writing the final answer, while the error that occurs the least was the transformation error. Reading errors occur because students could not interpret sentences correctly and could not found keywords or information in the problems. Errors in understanding the problems occur because students made errors in writing what they know and were asked in the problems. Transformation errors occur because students could not transform problems into mathematical models and were not careful in performing mathematical operations. Process skill errors occur because students experienced procedural errors such as incorrectly writing the objective function to be achieved and could not do the next process to find a solution to the problems. Errors in writing answers occur because many students did not write conclusions, write inaccurate conclusions, and write wrong conclusions
Penentuan sistem antrean dengan pertimbangan biaya dan kontrol kedatangan pasien: Studi kasus di Puskesmas Ungaran Semarang
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan sistem antrean yang efektif dengan mempertimbangkan biaya dan kontrol kedatangan pasien pada fasilitas kesehatan: Puskesmas Ungaran, Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif berupa waktu kedatangan pasien, waktu pelayanan pasien, jumlah pasien, dan jumlah pelayan. Tahapan-tahapan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah menganalisis steady state dari sistem antrean, ukuran kinerja pada sistem antrean, keefektifan sistem antrean dengan pertimbangan biaya (cost), dan keefektifan sistem antrean dengan pertimbangan kontrol pada kedatangan pasien. Hasil analisis sistem antrean pada kedatangan pasien di loket pendaftaran, ruang dokter, dan loket apotek merupakan proses Poisson, sedangkan pelayanan pasien berdistribusi eksponensial. Jumlah pelayan dan biaya yang efektif pada masing-masing sistem antrean adalah dua pelayan dengan biaya Rp59.513 pada loket pendaftaran; empat pelayan dengan biaya Rp141.864 pada ruang dokter; dan satu pelayan dengan biaya Rp23.885 pada loket apotek. Rerata jumlah pasien dalam antrean dan sistem antrean masing-masing adalah dua pasien dan lima pasien. Rerata waktu pasien menunggu di dalam antrean maupun sistem antrean adalah 1,937 menit dan 8,883 menit. Lebih lanjut, ketika dilakukan kontrol pada kedatangan pasien, maka jumlah pasien yang diterima akan meningkat ketika biaya yang dibutuhkan puskesmas dalam menerima pasien diperbesar.
Determination of the queuing system by considering costs and patient arrival control: A case study at Puskesmas Ungaran Semarang
Abstract
The study aimed to determine an effective queuing system by considering costs and control of patient arrival at a health facility: Puskesmas Ungaran, Semarang, Indonesia. The study used quantitative data in patient arrival time, patient service time, number of patients, and number of servants. The stages carried out were analyzing the steady-state of the queuing system, performance measures of the queuing system, the effectiveness of the queuing system by considering costs, and the effectiveness of the queuing system by considering control of patient arrival. The result of the queuing system analysis at the arrival of the patient at the registration counter, doctor\u27s office, and pharmacy counter was a Poisson process, while patient service has an exponential distribution. The number of servants and costs in each of the effective queuing systems was two servants with costs 59,513 IDR at the registration counter; four servants with costs 141,864 IDR at the doctor\u27s office; and one servant with costs 23,885 IDR at the pharmacy counter. The average number of patients in the queue and queue system was two patients and five patients, respectively. The average time for patients to wait in the queue and queue system was 1.937 minutes and 8.883 minutes. Furthermore, when the patient arrival was controlled, the number of patients accepted will increase when the health center\u27s costs to receive patients were increased
Kinerja guru matematika SMP dalam membangun minat dan motivasi belajar siswa
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kinerja guru matematika SMP dalam membangun minat dan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex post facto. Populasi mencakup semua siswa kelas 8 SMP di 4 sekolah negeri dan 3 sekolah swasta di Sumatera Utara, dan sampel diambil secara acak sebanyak 243 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket, dan data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum kinerja guru matematika dalam membangun minat belajar siswa berada pada kategori cukup. Ketika membangun minat belajar siswa, dilihat dari aspek menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran, menjelaskan manfaat pembelajaran, dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan, kinerja guru berada pada kategori cukup, sedangkan dalam hal membuat siswa senang belajar kinerja guru masih berada pada kategori kurang baik. Kinerja guru matematika dalam membangun motivasi belajar siswa juga berada pada kategori cukup. Ketika membangun motivasi belajar siswa, kinerja guru dalam menjelaskan pentingnya belajar keras, melaksanakan ujian remedial, memberitahukan hasil ujian, dan memberikan pujian berada pada kategori cukup, sedangkan kinerja dalam membuat kompetisi di kelas berada pada kategori kurang baik
Abstract
This study aimed to describe junior high school mathematics teachers\u27 performance in building student interest and motivation. This study was an ex post facto research. The population included all eighth-grade students of junior high schools from four public schools and three private schools in Sumatera Utara, Indonesia, and 243 students were randomly selected as samples. The instrument used a questionnaire, and the data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that, in general, mathematics teachers\u27 performance in building students\u27 interest in learning was in the moderate category. In building students\u27 interest in learning, teachers\u27 performance conveying learning objectives, explaining the benefits of learning, and the learning approach used, teachers\u27 performance was in the moderate category, while in terms of making students happy to learn, teacher performance was still in the poor category. The performance of mathematics teachers in building students\u27 motivation was also in the moderate category. In building students\u27 motivation, teachers\u27 performance in explaining the importance of studying hard, administrating remedial exams, notifying test results, and giving praise were in the moderate category, while making class competition is in the poor category
Identifikasi proses berpikir siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah aljabar dengan menggunakan representasi graf
Representasi graf banyak digunakan, salah satunya untuk menggambarkan proses berpikir siswa. Caranya dengan melihat hubungan antara langkah penyelesaian satu dengan lainnya dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merepresentasikan proses berpikir siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah aljabar dengan bantuan representasi graf. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 dari 38 siswa kelas IX-A SMP Negeri 26 Surabaya, yang diambil dengan teknik snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara berbasis tugas. Tugas atau masalah yang diberikan berupa dua soal open onded dan hasilnya dianalisis serta direpresentasikan melalui graf: graf pohon biner, graf pohon rentang, dan graf pohon keputusan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui graf pohon biner, representasi proses berpikir siswa masih sederhana dan tidak sistematis dengan langkah-langkah penyelesaian yang dilakukan masih sedikit. Melalui graf pohon rentang, proses berpikir siswa direpresentasikan secara praktis, lengkap, dan tepat. Melalui graf pohon keputusan, proses berpikir siswa direpresentasikan secara teratur, rinci, dan terurut.
Abstract
One of the uses of graph representation was to describe students\u27 thinking. Processes by identifying the relationship between one completion step and another completion step in doing mathematics problems. This qualitative descriptive research aimed to describe the representation of students\u27 thinking processes in solving algebraic questions with the help of graph representation. The subjects of this study were 3 from 38 students of class IX-A at SMP Negeri 26 Surabaya, Indonesia selected through snowball sampling. Data was collected from task-based interview methods. The task or problem given was two open-ended questions and the results were analyzed as well as represented through graphs: binary tree graph, spanning tree graph, and decision tree graph. The results showed that through the binary tree graph, the representations of students\u27 thinking processes were still simple and not systematic with few steps to complete. Through the spanning tree graph, students\u27 thinking processes were represented practically, completely, and precisely. Through the decision tree graph, students\u27 thinking processes were represented in an orderly, detailed, and consecutive
