    No full text
Silence of Sound aims to explore the transformative potential of sound through a podcast series designed to educate listeners and promote emotional well-being and personal growth. The podcast integrates creative and critical components to address a single driving question: How can the therapeutic properties of sound be harnessed and integrated into wellness frameworks to promote holistic healing and improve the lives of individuals across diverse populations? Drawing on principles of sonic ecology and neurophysiology, the podcast will investigate the dynamic relationship between sound, mind and environment, examining how auditory experiences can influence cognitive and emotional states. Through a series of immersive soundscapes and educated insights, the podcast will provide listeners with practical tools and techniques to cultivate resilience amidst the stresses of modern life. By integrating creative storytelling with evidence-based research, the project seeks to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and everyday practice, empowering listeners to take charge of their mental and emotional health. Through this inquiry, the podcast aspires to contribute to a deeper understanding of the therapeutic potential of sound, while offering a beacon of hope and inspiration to those seeking balance and harmony in their lives

    Christmas In The Summertime [Audio]

    No full text
As a musician who has directed several Christmas carol events over the years, I have identified a need for holiday songs that accurately depict the Summer Christmas experience. Due to the globalisation of media, much of the Christmas content we consume comes from America and Europe which use heavy Winter imagery and feature traditions that don’t make sense in an Australian context. For this project, I aim to write and produce 3-4 original Summer-theme Christmas songs for the primary use of being played at live Christmas events such as school productions, Carols by Candlelight and church services. At this point in project development, I have recorded rough demos for four original songs: Christmas in the Summertime: An upbeat and humorous Christmas anthem that depicts the authentic Aussie Christmas experience. It Must Be Christmas: An upbeat but tender song, featuring Summer imagery and a gratitude for Christmas. Good To Me: A cute, romantic song about lovers who fell in love at Christmas in Summer. What A Name (Here With Us): A song to be played during church services with heavy Christian themes about Jesus coming to earth and living among us
