A GEOLOGIA E A PALEONTOLOGIA NOS LIVROS DIDÁTICOS ADOTADOS PELA REDE MUNICIPAL DE EDUCAÇÃO DE SERRINHA – BA: UMA ABORDAGEM INICIAL
Get PDFEste estudo, ainda em estágio inicial, é fruto de um projeto de iniciação científica concentra-se na análise das abordagens da Geologia e Paleontologia nos livros didáticos do ensino fundamental do município de Serrinha-BA. O objetivo dessa pesquisa é aprofundar a análise conceitual, a partir de referências apropriadas de modo a evidenciar as lacunas conceituais que possam existir nos materiais didáticos adotados na rede municipal de ensino. A metodologia está estruturada por meio da pesquisa exploratória, bibliográfica/conceitual e de campo. Os resultados preliminares indicam de maneira geral que a abordagem conceitual apresenta-se de forma superficial nos livros adotados, especialmente em temas como rochas, minerais e fósseis. Essa superficialidade contrasta com a potencial capacidade desses tópicos de enriquecer a compreensão dos processos naturais. Apesar de estar em fase inicial, a pesquisa destaca a importância de apresentar a Paleontologia e Geologia de maneira mais atrativa e contextualizada, com explicações claras e acessíveis, de forma a estimular o interesse dos alunos por esses conteúdos, através da contextualização desses assuntos com a realidade dos estudantes podendo tornar o aprendizado mais significativo, além de enriquecer o ensino de ciências e promover o interesse dos alunos por essas disciplinas. Pretende-se ao final da pesquisa produzir um material que possa auxiliar professores, coordenadores, equipe pedagógica e demais interessados na condução das aulas voltadas para temáticas de Geologia e Paleontologia

No full textEste trabalho tem como escopo de discussão e reflexão o projeto de ensino intitulado “Educação ambiental é fundamental!” – idealizado e executado no atual período de pandemia. Dado o contexto, o ensino, a pesquisa e extensão também precisaram de um novo redirecionamento em suas práticas a fim de atender aos protocolos de distanciamento social orientados pela Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) para conter o avanço do coronavírus. Diante da questão mencionada, surgiram questionamentos acerca de como redirecionar ações educativas em Educação Ambiental em espaço não-formal de educação. Este estudo compreende um relato de experiência de atividades remotas do referido Projeto, com o objetivo de refletir acerca das potencialidades, desafios e limitações do ensino remoto da Educação Ambiental em espaço não-formal. As atividades do Projeto foram esquematizadas em três partes: interdisciplinaridade da educação ambiental; criação e contação de histórias como prática no ensino da educação ambiental e rede social como espaço não formal no ensino remoto da educação ambiental. Para uma avaliação sobre o aprendizado dos estudantes que participaram do Projeto, foi utilizado como instrumento para coleta de dados um questionário online semiestruturado. Assim, diante do estudo empreendido, constata-se que é possível desenvolver ações educativas em Educação Ambiental de maneira remota, a partir do uso da internet e de metodologias/plataformas facilitadoras do contexto remoto. Destaca-se, sobretudo, o uso de histórias em quadrinhos, uma vez que apareceram nos resultados e discussões deste estudo como uma importante estratégia metodológica de ensino e aprendizagem por se tratar de um procedimento didático-pedagógico lúdico e transversal. Igualmente, enfatiza-se a potencialidade das redes sociais, que podem ser utilizadas enquanto estratégia didático-pedagógica para a compreensão, ampliação e execução de propostas e discussões com ênfase em Educação Ambiental.

Abstract:
This study has as scope of discussion and reflection the teaching project called "Environmental education is essential!" – It was idealized and executed in the current pandemic period. Given the context, teaching, research and extension also needed a new redirect in their practices in order to take account the protocols of social distancing guided by the World Health Organization (WHO) to contain the coronavirus advance. Before the issue mentioned, it has emerged questions about how to redirect educational actions in Environmental Education in non-formal education space. This study includes an experience report of remote activities of the referred Project with the aim of reflecting about the potentialities, challenges and limitations of remote learning of Environmental Education in non-formal space. The activities of the Project were outlined in three parts: interdisciplinary of environmental education; creation and storytelling as practice in environmental education teaching and social network as non-formal space in remote education of environmental education. For an evaluation about the learning of the students who participated in the Project, it has been used as an instrument for data collection a semi-structured online questionnaire. Thus, in the face of the study undertaken, it has been noted that it is possible to develop educational actions in Environmental Education remotely, from the use of the internet and methodologies/platforms enabling the remote context. Stands out, especially, the use of comic books since they appeared in the results and discussions of this study as an important teaching and learning methodological strategy because it is an educational-pedagogical playful and cross-sectional. Likewise, it is emphasized the potential of social networks, that can be used as a didactic-pedagogical strategy for understanding, extension and implementation of proposals and discussions with emphasis on Environmental Education.

Percepção dos consumidores de produtos orgânicos em circuitos curtos de comercialização da Região Metropolitana de Belém - PA: Perception of consumers of organic products in short marketing circuits in the Metropolitan Region of Belém - PA
No full textEste é um estudo sobre a percepção dos consumidores de produtos orgânicos em circuitos curtos de comercialização, que possui o objetivo discutir o perfil e o comportamento do consumidor orgânico das principais feiras de produtos orgânicos da cidade de Belém-PA. Nesse sentido, o artigo discute o perfil e o comportamento do consumidor a partir de princípios econômicos e agroecológicos. Como metodologia foi utilizada a pesquisa exploratória e bibliográfica sobre o tema proposto, seguida de uma pesquisa quali-quantitativa. Para a coleta de dados, foram utilizadas a observação participante e a aplicação de formulários, com a finalidade de obter informações socioeconômicas, além de características, percepção e disposição do consumidor. Entre os resultados, destaca-se que cinquenta e oito por cento dos entrevistados acreditam na qualidade dos produtos e no seu benefício à saúde; sessenta e nove por cento apresentam renda média familiar acima cinco salários-mínimos, o que lhes permite adquirir alimentos de qualidade com mais facilidade, embora tenham dificuldade de diferenciar produtos orgânicos e convencionais; sessenta e dois por cento avaliam que os produtos das feiras não influenciam sua decisão de compra; sessenta e três por cento dos entrevistados afirmam estar fidelizados há menos de 4 anos nesse tipo de consumo; e oitenta e sete por cento atestam a excelência na qualidade dos produtos das feiras. Conclui-se que, de forma geral, os consumidores estão satisfeitos com os aspectos de comercialização realizada nas feiras através do circuito curto de comercialização, o que revela um achado semelhante aos de outras pesquisas.
ABSTRACT
This is a study on the perception of consumers of organic products in short marketing circuits with the aim of discussing the profile and behavior of organic consumers at the main organic product fairs in the city of Belém-PA. In this context, the article discusses consumer profile and behavior based on economic and agroecological principles. To investigate this topic, we conducted exploratory and bibliographical research, followed by qualitative-quantitative research. For data collection, we applied participant observation and forms to obtain socioeconomic information, consumer characteristics, perception, and preferences. Among the results, it stands out that 58% (fifty-eight percent) of those interviewed believe in the quality of the products and their health benefits; 69% (sixty-nine percent) have an average family income above five minimum wages, which allows them to purchase quality food more easily, although they have difficulty differentiating organic and conventional products; 62% (sixty-two percent) believe that products at fairs do not influence their purchasing decision; 63% (sixty-three percent) of those interviewed say they have been loyal to this type of consumption for less than 4 years; and 87% (eighty-seven percent) attest to the excellence in the quality of the products at the fairs. It is concluded that, in general, consumers are satisfied with the aspects of marketing carried out at fairs through the short marketing circuit, revealing alignment with findings from other research studies.

A HISTÓRIA DO “MEU” LUGAR: As memórias e suas contribuições para o enriquecimento das identidades campesinas
Get PDFO presente artigo propõe um olhar reflexivo sobre a visibilidade dos sujeitos do campo através da história do lugar a que pertencem. Para tanto, o estudo traz esta questão norteadora: de que maneira a contextualização da história de um lugar pode trazer empoderamento para os atores sociais enquanto sujeitos construtores de cultura e identidade? Assim, se objetiva ao longo da pesquisa compreender como as estratégias de contextualização da história da Comunidade de Ipoeira, em Teofilândia/BA, pode promover o empoderamento e o reconhecimento dos moradores no tocante à identidade e à cultura. Foram traçados como objetivos específicos: conhecer/reconhecer a história local através das memórias dos moradores (jovens/idosos) e refletir sobre a importância dos mecanismos de produção da visibilidade identitária e cultural. Como percurso metodológico, utilizou-se a abordagem qualitativa, no viés da pesquisa-ação, que trouxe resultados significativos ante a finalidade da pesquisa de mostrar que o território a que se pertence contribui para a construção da identidade do indivíduo.
Abstract:
This article proposes a reflective look at the visibility of the subjects of the field through the history of the place where they belong. For this, the study brings as a guiding question: how can the contextualization of the history of a place bring empowerment to social actors, as subjects constructing culture and identity? Thus, we aim throughout the research to understand how the strategies of contextualization of the history of the Community of Ipoeira, Teofilândia/Bahia/Brasil, can promote the empowerment and recognition of residents regarding identity and culture. We outlined as specific objectives: To know/recognize the local history, through the memories of the residents (young/elderly); reflect on the importance of mechanisms for producing identity and cultural visibility. As a methodological path we used the qualitative approach, in the bias of action research, which brought significant results before the purpose of the research of showing that the territory to which we belong contributes to the construction of our identity.

Relações comunitárias vivenciadas numa pesquisa-intervenção no semiárido baiano
Get PDFIn this article, we report experiences and reflections about community relations experienced through a research intervention entitled Public policies and medicinal community garden: building a manual for use in associative projects, of the Graduate Program in Territorial Planning - PLANTERR (professional master\u27s degree) from Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana - Bahia. The research was conducted in the Community of Bastião in Retirolândia, Bahia with the participation of 12 women members from the Bastianense association. By applying the intervention research method, we aimed to investigate the relationship between the community and medicinal plants, as well as stimulate bonds between those involved, strengthening these bonds from the daily experience of the participants, their ways of life, their expectations and the relationships they maintain with the association and the local community. The result of this research-intervention was the implementation of a community garden of medicinal plants and the production of a socio-educational manual for the implementation of this type of vegetable garden
O processo de construção da identidade do adolescente com síndrome de down no atendimento psicopedagógico

Neste presente estudo, consideramos que o sujeito se constitui à medida que suas ações vão sendo expostos ou interagindo com o outro, através da internalização de papeis, definidos, inicialmente, pelas pessoas que são referências mais concretas do sujeito com Down. O objetivo foi refletir sobre o processo de formação e/ou construção da identidade dos adolescentes com Síndrome de Down durante os atendimentos psicopedagógicos no CAPENE – Centro de Atendimento Pedagógico a Pessoas com Necessidades Educacionais Especiais do município de Serrinha–Bahia. Do ponto de vista metodológico a pesquisa fundamentou-se em uma investigação de cunho qualitativo, pautada na abordagem da investigação que adota as entrevistas narrativas como um importante instrumento de investigação, trazendo em seu interior depoimentos extraídos de entrevistas abertas e/ou semi-estruturadas. O estudo tem sua origem nos resultados obtidos em pesquisas realizadas com o grupo de adolescentes com Síndrome de Down, através de entrevistas narrativas. Os resultados revelaram a identidade negativa que o próprio sujeito tem em relação à deficiência. As análises realizadas procuram relacionar a identidade que esses sujeitos têm de si com a identidade transmitida pelo grupo social do qual eles fazem parte. Os resultados mostraram o discurso do grupo social nos dizeres dos sujeitos. Concluímos que para a transformação das identidades que os sujeitos com Síndrome de Down têm de si mesmo, precisamos de ações que incidam sobre aqueles que os rodeiam, ou seja, a família, os amigos, os colegas e o grupo social em geral.
Abstract:
In this study, we consider that the subject is formed as his actions are exposed or by the interaction with others, through the internalization of roles, defined, initially, by the ones who are concrete references of the person with Down Sundrome. Its purpose was to reflect on the process of identity formation and / or construction of adolescents with Down Syndrome during psychopedagogical consultations at CAPENE - Center for Pedagogical Assistance to People with Special Educational Needs in Serrinha – Bahia. From a methodological point of view, we conducted a qualitative investigation, based on the research approach that adopts narrative interviews as an important investigation tool, bringing testimonies extracted from open and / or semi-structured interviews. The study is a result of the research carried out with the group of adolescents with Down Syndrome through narrative interviews. The results revealed a negative identity of these participants in relation to their disability. The analysis sought to relate the identity that these subjects have of themselves with the identity transmitted by the social group of which they are part of. The results showed the discourse of this social group in the subjects\u27 speeches. This way, we conclude that we need to focus on the people around them, that is, their family, friends, colleagues and the social group in general in order to promote a change in the perception the people with Downs Syndrome have of their identities.

A expansão do Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina numa perspectiva de política social: The expansion of the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina from a social policy perspective
No full textEste artigo versa sobre a expansão dos Institutos Federais de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia, com foco no processo ocorrido no Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina. O propósito do trabalho é a compreensão do processo de expansão do Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina em uma perspectiva de política social, fazendo um levantamento bibliográfico sobre política pública, e por fim, estabelecendo uma relação com a expansão e os objetivos do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Santa Catarina. As políticas públicas, independente de serem econômicas, fiscais, educacionais ou mesmo com outro foco, devem refletir no social, servindo como ferramenta que estruture a sociedade e torne melhor a vida das pessoas. Desse modo, observa-se que a expansão por meio da interiorização, a ampliação da oferta de educação profissional, a preocupação com o arranjo produtivo local, e a formação focada no cidadão, são características da expansão da Rede Federal de Educação Profissional e Tecnológica que podem ser associadas com as políticas de cunho social, o que permite concluir que a conexão existente entre a comunidade na qual o campus está instalado, o arranjo produtivo local e o próprio Instituto, é condição essencial para a compreensão da política pública presente neste processo de expansão, bem como para o alcance de seus objetivos.

Abstract:
This scientific paper discusses about the expansion of Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology, and it emphasizes on the process within the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina. This research aims to understand the process of expansion of the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina in a social policy perspective through bibliographic research about public policy, in order to establish a link among the expansion and the objectives of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Santa Catarina. Public policies should reflect on social policy so they should be used as a tool that structures society and makes people’s lives better. Some characteristics of the expansion of the Federal Network of Professional Education and Technology are noticed: expansion through interiorization, amplifying of professional education offer, concern about local productivity, and education focused on citizens. They can de associated to social public policies which implies that the connection among the community in which the campus is located, local productivity, and the Federal Institute is essential to understand the public policy present in the process of expansion, and also to achieve objectives.

A relevância do paradigma transformativo na contemporaneidade em estudos que envolvem temas sociais: The relevance of the transformative paradigm in contemporary studies involving social issues
No full textThis article seeks to demonstrate the relevance of the transformative paradigm in contemporary studies that encompass social issues. Its overall objective is to clarify the relevance of the transformative paradigm in studies that involve social issues, especially those that refer to power relations and social justice. The specific objectives are: 1. To present the theoretical conception of the transformative paradigm through the studies of Donna Mertens; 2. Check the relationship between the transformative paradigm and Paulo Freire\u27s ideas on the Pedagogy of the Oppressed. The methodology adopted is based on a theoretical review of the literature. The theoretical outline is based on the conception that in studies focused on the social, the transformative paradigm is currently the most appropriate, because it refers to relations of justice and power. In the final considerations, this article proposes that this paradigm be more used in research in Brazil and Portugal. This is considered to be a scientifically relevant work, as it will seek to demonstrate that this paradigm in contemporary times can be an instrument to strengthen research involving social issues, not least because this paradigm argues that research must be related to politics, confronting social oppression and suggesting a plan for change.Este artigo procura dissertar a respeito da relevância do paradigma transformativo na contemporaneidade em estudos que englobam temas sociais. O seu objetivo geral é clarificar a relevância do paradigma transformativo nos estudos que envolvem temas sociais, principalmente nos que se referem às relações de poder e justiça social. Os objetivos específicos consistem em: 1. Apresentar a concepção teórica do paradigma transformativo por meio dos estudos de Donna Mertens; 2. Verificar a relação do paradigma transformativo com o pensamento de Paulo Freire no que se refere ao livro Pedagogia do Oprimido. A concepção metodológica abraçada ampara-se em revisão teórica de literatura. O desenho teórico respalda-se na ideia de que em estudos voltados ao social o paradigma transformativo é o mais apropriado na atualidade porque ele se refere às relações de justiça e poder. Nas conclusões será apresentada como proposta que este paradigma seja mais utilizado em pesquisas no Brasil e em Portugal. Entende-se que este artigo é cientificamente importante, pois pretenderá esclarecer que este paradigma na contemporaneidade poderá ser uma ferramenta que contribuirá para o enrobustecimento das pesquisas que envolvem temas sociais até porque esse paradigma defende que a pesquisa deve estar relacionada à política, confrontando a opressão social e sugerindo um plano de mudança.

O artesanato da piaçava das mulheres da comunidade quilombola de Pedra Rasa: elemento de desenvolvimento social e biocultural, Camamu – BA, Brasil: Piassava palm craftsmanship by women from Pedra Rasa Quilombola Community: element of social and biocultural development, Camamu – Bahia, Brazil
No full textQuilombola communities represent a very particular reality within the scope of rural locations, both in terms of their conditions of existence and their formation. The objective of this research was to evaluate the social development of women from the Quilombola Community of Pedra Rasa based on craft activities that generate income, added to the ethical-cultural affirmation in order to value the identity of the local group. 20 women, residents of the Pedra Rasa Community, participated in the research. After the bibliographic research, semi-structured interviews were applied for data collection, aiming to characterize the artisanal activities of the women of the Quilombola Community of Pedra Rasa, evidencing the social changes that occurred in the community after the implementation of the Bahia Produtiva Project and that the main raw material is piassava (Attlea funifera Martius). The characteristics found in the handicrafts of Pedra Rasa artisans demonstrate that, in addition to being an activity of economic importance for the quilombo, it brings together cultural components that are very particular to it: the conservation of available resources; the positive manifestation about the beauty of the products that passes through the creative vision of the women and; not least, the manifestations about the conservation of the local culture. In fact, public policies and programs are essential, not only to ensure the permanence or sustainability of cultural activities, but, above all, to guarantee the appreciation of traditional crafts, the addition of commercial value to products and socio-environmental sustainability.As comunidades quilombolas representam uma realidade bastante particular do campesinato brasileiro, especificamente na Bahia. O objetivo dessa pesquisa foi avaliar o desenvolvimento social de mulheres da Comunidade Quilombola de Pedra Rasa a partir de atividades artesanais que geram renda, ao mesmo tempo, remete à afirmação étnico-cultural de modo a valorizar a identidade do grupo local. Após os estudos bibliográficos, foi feita a pesquisa de campo, de caráter qualitativo, envolvendo observação participante e entrevistas com 20 participantes, artesãs da Comunidade Quilombola de Pedra Rasa. Foram evidenciadas as mudanças sociais ocorridas na comunidade após a implantação do Projeto Bahia Produtiva. A principal matéria-prima é a piaçava (Attlea funifera Martius, Arecaceae). As características encontradas demonstram que, além de ser uma atividade de importância econômica para o Quilombo, reúne componentes culturais que lhe são bem particulares: a conservação e uso da palmeira piaçava; a manifestação positiva sobre a beleza dos produtos que passa pela visão criativa das mulheres; e a valorização de traços culturais local. De fato, pode-se asseverar que as políticas públicas são essenciais, não apenas para assegurar a sustentabilidade das atividades culturais, mas, principalmente, para garantir a valorização do artesanato tradicional, a agregação de valor comercial aos produtos e a sustentabilidade socioambiental.
ABSTRACT: Quilombola communities represent a very distinctive reality of Brazilian peasantry, specifically in the state of Bahia, Brazil. The objective of this research was to evaluate the social development of women from Pedra Rasa Quilombola Community based on handicrafts that generate income. At the same time, it refers to ethnic and cultural affirmation in order to value the local group identity. After the bibliographic studies, qualitative field research was carried out, involving participant observation and interviews with 20 participants, artisans. The social changes that occurred in the community after the implementation of Bahia Produtiva Project were highlighted. The main raw material is the piassava palm (Attlea funifera Martius, Arecaceae). The characteristics found demonstrate that, in addition to being an activity of economic importance for Quilombo, it also brings cultural components that are very particular to it: the conservation and use of piassava palm tree; the positive expression about the beauty of that products, provides creative connotation of women; and the appreciation of their culture. In fact, it can be asserted that public policies are essential, not only to ensure the sustainability of cultural activities, but also to guarantee appreciation of traditional crafts, addition of commercial value to products and socio-environmental sustainability.
