Analysis of the Philosophical and Sociological Foundation of Human Freedom in the Political-Social Order of the West
This paper seeks to elucidate the problems of individuals immersed in the "universe" of the social and their development under historical power relations, viewed from long before the birth of sociology as a science of the study of structures, functioning, and development of social life with its human activities. The aim is for the new generations of postmodernity to understand how to face the challenges posed by some new forms of power associated with state bureaucracy, which classical sociologists such as E. Durkheim, Karl Marx, and especially Max Weber had warned about, as well as some philosophers like Theodor W. Adorno and Max Horkheimer, who foresaw the constant changes and alterations in human affairs in the West. This convergence between philosophy and sociology examines the problem of freedom of human actions and their social structuring and development, viewed from the relationship between sociology and the critique of the form of self-knowledge of contemporary society, analyzed through the lens of power and domination relations and the insights provided by philosophy since antiquity, where the concept of freedom had a different meaning than what we understand today
GLP-1 receptor agonists for weight loss, benefits and risks: A systematic review of the literature
Introduction: Obesity is a chronic disease linked to numerous complications. Pharmacotherapy constitutes one of the therapeutic options by which people with obesity can achieve and maintain the desired weight. Objectives: to describe the mechanism of action of glucagon-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs) and their effect on weight loss and long-term weight maintenance. Studies addressing both initial weight loss and long-term maintenance based on the use of GLP-1RAs were analyzed.Development: GLP-1RA therapy, initially developed to treat type 2 diabetes, has been shown to be effective in reducing body weight. Daily subcutaneous administration of liraglutide has been approved, and weekly subcutaneous administration of semaglutide is being investigated in phase III trials for the management of obesity. Conclusions: consideration of GLP-1 receptor agonists as a robust therapeutic option for the management of obesity in patients who have not responded adequately to other interventions is recommended. Their use should be personalized, carefully evaluating the benefit-risk ratio for each patient. It is crucial to continue research in this field to better understand the long-term effects of GLP-1 receptor agonist
Investigating the role of energy consumption, ecological innovations, institutional quality and economic growth on ecological sustainability: a study from UAE
In the contemporary world, the issue of a sustainable environment is under significant attention by researchers and policymakers. However, the role of energy sources, both in terms of renewable and non-renewable, cannot be ignored in determining environmental pollution and related issues. This study aims to examine the trends in environmental sustainability as measured through carbon dioxide emissions while considering the role of renewable energy, non-renewable energy, ecological innovation, institutional quality, and economic growth in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The time period of the study consists of 1995-2020 with yearly observations. For the purpose of literature discussion, both theoretical and empirical studies have been covered through critical analysis.Furthermore, this study considers novel approaches entitled auto-regressive distributed lag (ARDL) in order to estimate the relationships between the variables. The initial results confirm the presence of stationarity properties and the cointegrated association between the variables of interest. On the other side, the long-run results through ARDL show that renewable energy, ecological innovations, institutional quality, and square of economic growth are playing their significant and productive role in reducing carbon emissions. On the other side, non-renewable energy sources and economic growth are causing more carbon emissions, hence confirming the presence of the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC). Based on such findings, several policy suggestions have been provided along with limitations and future direction

Fuzzy Clustering Algorithm for Trend Prediction of The Digital Currency Market
Digital currencies, such as Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), Stellar (XLM) and Tether (USDT), have been attracting the interest of investors and speculators. Over the last several years, the exponential growth in the value of digital currency has captured the interest of many individuals who see it as an attractive investment opportunity. After all, investors must deal with the expected volatility of Bitcoin prices as part of their investments. The future development of cryptocurrency can be challenging to forecast because of the extreme unpredictability and disorder of external events. In this research, fuzzy models for cryptocurrency price forecasting using a level set-based Fuzzy Clustering Based on Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (FC-MCDM). Compared to linguistic and functional fuzzy clustering, the construction and processing of fuzzy rules in a multi-criteria decision-making-based collection set differ. Based on level sets, the model produces the weighted average of the functions that active fuzzy rules provide as output. In the model\u27s outputs, the activation levels of the fuzzy rules are represented directly by the output functions. Computational experiments are carried out to test the efficacy of the level-set approach for one-step-ahead prediction of cryptocurrency closing prices. Meanwhile, level set-based fuzzy clustering outperforms the other methods when the direction of price change evaluates performanc
