Effect of organic fertilization with Bactofeed and spraying with boron on the growth and yield of two hybrid okra plants
The experiment was carried out in a field of Agriculture College / University of Karbala during the agricultural season 2024 where it was in 12/4/ 2024 and finished in 10/8/2024 to study the effect of fertilizer combination included eight treatments (0, boron 1 g. L-1, 20 organic fertilizer L-ha-1, 25 organic fertilizer L-ha-1, 30 organic fertilizer L-ha-1, 20 organic fertilizer L-ha-1 with boron 1 g. L-1, 25 organic fertilizer L-ha-1 with boron 1 g. L-1 ,30 organic fertilizer L-ha-1 with boron 1 g. L-1) on growth and yield of two okra hybrids, the hybrid of okra were Sultana F1 and Gennext . The experiment was laid out in factorial within randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications. The means were compared by using LSD test at probability of 0.05. The results showed that the Gennext hybrid superiority upon Sultana F1 in growth and yield parameters (plant height, number of branches, number of leaves, leaf area, number of pods, average pod weight and total yield). fertilizer combination treatment T7 (30 liters ha-1 organic fertilizer + 1 g L-1 boron) showed significantly affected in all parameters compared with control. The interaction effect of two hybrids with fertilizer combination ,it clearly indicated that there was significant interaction effect in all parameters under observation (plant height, number of branches, number of leaves, leaf area, number of pods, average pod weight, and total yield), where superior interaction between Gennext with T7 (30 liters ha-1 organic fertilizer +1 g L-1 boron)which was recorded (139.33cm,11 branches.plant-1, 110 leaves.plant-1 and 198.80 cm2.plant-1, 91.70 pods plant-1, 6.91 g. pod-1 and 21.95 tons. ha-1) respectively.  
Effect of different levels of Sage (Salvia officinalis) essential oil drenching on blood parameters, growth and reproductive performance of Saanen goat does
The current investigation examined the impact of different doses of Sage extract on the complete blood count, body weight, and reproductive performance of Saanen goat does administer weekly over a 12-week period. Blood was collected third from 15 Saanen goat does and divided into three groups of five replicates. Fifteen adult Saanen goat does, aged 1 to 1.5 years and averaging 72 kg in body weight, were utilized in this investigation. T1 was administered 2 ml of distilled water per head, T2 received 40 mg/kg, and T3 received 80 mg/kg. The findings imply that after two months, Sage essential oil drenching at the tested levels did not substantially change the haematological parameters of Saanen does. Over the course of three months, Sage essential oil drenching significantly increased body weight in Saanen does, especially at the T2 level, by the end of the measurement, the effects were statistically noticeable. Although there were no notable variations in the size of the litters (T1:2.0, T2:1.6, and T3:1.5) or the rates of twinning, T2 showed the best reproductive results, with 100% conception and fertility rates (compared to 80% in T1 and T3) and 0% barrenness (compared to 20% in controls)

Background: Hypothyroidism is one of the most widespread disorders affecting the thyroid gland in the world, which associated with hormonal disorders. Objective: the aim of this study to measured adipokines (ghrelin and obestatin) in hypothyroidism patients.
Patient and method: A case-control study comprised 60 samples from hypothyroidism patients and 30 healthy samples from female patients ranging in age from 20 to 70 . A questionnaire was designed for collecting patiens as required in criteria of the study and to distinguish them from healthy controls. This questionnaire include Age, hight, weight, BMI, chronic disease and duration of illness for patients. A thorough clinical history, physical examination, and pertinent laboratory tests were performed on the patients, and an evaluation of laboratory measures for thyroid diseases was used to establish the kind of problem. A Proposed Recommendation System to Exhibit Product Advertising at Proper Time Stamps of Video
An advertisement is a notice or announcement in a public medium promoting a product. Advertising plays significant role in the introduction of a new product in the market. It stimulates the people to purchase the product and provides an opportunity for e-commerce companies to recommend their products in videos. In this research, we propose a video advertising system to exhibit appropriate video product ads to particular users at proper time stamps. This takes into account video content (semantics or relation between video and products), and viewing behavior (user and video). In the proposed framework, the first stage will be analyzed video structure into its primary components. Next stage will be associations between users and videos and videos and products. Finally, the recommendation system is proposed to integrate key frame-product association and the important shot of original video to recommend appropriate video of product advertisement(ads) to user. The results of determining the video category by employing the Yolo deep learning model (Yolov5s) in precision. Thus, the proposed method is more accurate in getting the video content. The results of the recommendation and video advertising algorithm demonstrate that all the recommended videos are accurately classified and suggested to the actual type of viewing videos in the GWO algorithm.Correspondin
Determining the Optimal Values for Certain Rate Equation Parameters of the Cr: LiSAF Laser with Cr: YSO as a Saturable Absorber Through an Optimization Technique
Q-switching is a technique employed for control a laser system, enabling the generation of brief, high-energies laser pulses. The purpose of this study is to identify optimal values for certain rate equation parameters using an optimization technique. The Runge – Kutta – Fehlberg approach was employed to simulate the rate equations to find pulse characteristics of a Cr: LiSAF laser with Cr: YSO as a saturable absorber under a certain condition. The Rosenbrock optimization technique was used to find the optimal values of the decision variables (β, γa, γc) for different saturable absorber molecules number. The values of γa and γc are found to decrease with the increasing number of molecules due to the decrease in the absorption of photons by the material as a result of reaching the saturation state. For the β parameter, the increase in the saturable absorber molecules number leads to an increase in its value. According to the computer code, the calculated energy value was 4.19 mJ compared to the published 4.3 mJ, while the pulse duration is 35.1 nsec compared with 35 nsec.Corresponding Autho
A review of the synthesis, characterizations, and applications of inorganic nanoparticles
Due to their exceptional chemical, physical and biological properties, the synthesis of inorganic nanoparticles has received significant attention, enabling diverse applications across various industries. This review highlights research that has focused on developing efficient methods for the synthesis of inorganic nanoparticles, including various metals, metal oxides and semiconductors. In addition to elucidating different synthesis techniques, such as sol-gel processes, hydrothermal methods, and chemical reduction, the role of synthesis agents in controlling the size, shape and surface properties of nanoparticles is demonstrated. Since nanoparticles have unique electronic, optical and mechanical properties, they are suitable for applications in medicine such as cancer imaging and therapy, agriculture, energy and food industry. Therefore, a discussion of the potential applications of these nanoparticles in areas such as targeted drug delivery, biosensors, antimicrobial packaging and environmental remediation is provided. These findings contribute to the advancement and understanding of the synthesis of inorganic nanoparticles, paving the way for innovations in the field of nanotechnology
Assessment of IL-32 Serum Levels and Demographic Factors in Psoriasis Patients: Department of Biology, College of Science, University of Kerbala, Kerbala,Iraq College of Medicine, University of Kerbala, Kerbala, Iraq
Background: Psoriasis is a chronic immune-mediated inflammatory skin disorder marked by excessive keratinocyte proliferation and T-cell infiltration of the dermis and epidermis. Interleukin-32 (IL-32), a proinflammatory cytokine, has been implicated in psoriasis pathogenesis.Materials and Methods: A case-control study was conducted on 96 psoriasis patients (41 men, 55 women) and 50 healthy controls (26 men, 24 women) recruited from Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba Hospital, Karbala. Data on age, gender, height, weight, psoriasis type, and family history were collected via questionnaire. Serum IL-32 levels were measured using ELISA. Statistical analysis used SPSS version 26 with t-tests for mean comparisons and Chi-square tests for categorical variables.Results: Patients were significantly older, with 36.5% aged 42–54 years and 33.3% aged 55–67 years, compared with a control peak of 36% in the 29–41-year group. Obesity was more prevalent among patients (78.1%). Plaque psoriasis was the dominant clinical type (69%), followed by guttate psoriasis, while nail involvement was rare. Absence of a family history was significantly more common than presence (p = 0.000). Serum IL-32 levels were markedly higher in psoriasis patients than in controls.Conclusion: Psoriasis is significantly associated with older age and higher body-mass index, whereas sex and family history show no meaningful effect. Elevated IL-32 supports its role in the inflammatory milieu and highlights its potential as an immune biomarker and therapeutic target. Its involvement in systemic inflammation may link skin manifestations to comorbidities such as psoriatic arthritis and cardiovascular disease. Future studies should investigate IL-32 isoform-specific expression and evaluate IL-32 levels longitudinally before and after biologic therapy to clarify its value as a treatment-response indicator
A Review on Reducing TiO₂ Photocatalysis in Sunscreens: Perspectives on TiO₂@Zn₂SnO₄ Composites
This review examines the most important strategies to enhance titanium dioxide (TiO₂) as an ultraviolet (UV) filter by mitigating its photocatalytic activity in terms of suppressing the risk of harmful reactive oxygen species (ROS) (free radicals). As Zn2SnO4 has been reported recently to exhibit promising UV filter properties similar to TiO2 while producing a very low amount of ROS. This review also provides insight into and compares Zn2SnO4 and TiO2 for incorporation into sunscreen. Zn2SnO4 is potentially expected to maintain the high sun protection factor (SPF) of TiO₂, allowing for effective sunscreen formulation. To the best of our knowledge, this review summarizes for the first time the recent advancements in reducing the high photocatalytic activity of TiO2, and explores the suitability of using a composite of TiO₂@Zn2SnO4 as a promising UV filter in sunscreen
YouTube-Based Dataset of User Comments in the Iraqi Dialect
Social media\u27s widespread use has significantly improved communication between people by enabling quick and unrestricted sharing of ideas and opinions. However, some people have also abused this freedom to disseminate hate speech. As a result, abusive language has become more common online, which has a negative impact on society, especially in areas with an elevated level of dialectal variation. In Iraqi society, where almost every province has its own unique dialect that differ greatly from those in other places, a significant challenge to the creation of efficient hate speech detection technologies is this language diversity. A dataset of 548,661 comments in the Iraqi dialect was first gathered from YouTube for this study. The dataset was condensed to contain 120,000 comments after extensive preprocessing, including the removal of random and duplicate comments, etc. The data were then manually classified into four categories: Abusive, Offensive, Hate speech, and Normal language. For investigations involving the identification of hate speech and other associated natural language processing tasks, this augmented dataset provides a fundamental resource. Without a labeled dataset containing actual instances of linguistically offensive material, Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms cannot be trained for hate speech identification. Therefore, this dataset was created to train models on Iraqi hate speech.
Atherogenic Indices for Cardiovascular Outcomes in Patients with Chronic Coronary Syndrome Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention: A Key Role or Standby
Background: This study explores the link between atherogenic indices and cardiovascular outcomes in patients with chronic coronary syndrome (CCS) undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). It aims to determine if these indices can provide valuable prognostic information for risk stratification and personalized treatment strategies.
Method: A retrospective study analyzed medical records of 120 CCS patients, revealing 72 underwent PCI and 48 underwent Catheter Angiography.AC, AIP, Castelli’s I , II and C-index were determined as non-HDL / HDL , log (TG/ HDL) , TC/ HDL , LDL / HDL and LDL– HDL respectively.
Results: The study compared atherogenic indices between PCI patients and CA patients, finding that CA patients had significantly higher values for most atherogenic indices despite a seemingly better lipid profile. The CA group has a significantly higher C-index (85.8 ± 18.7) compared to the PCI group (37.1 ± 57.4), indicating a potentially greater risk of atherosclerotic events in the CA group. The PCI group has a slightly higher average AIP (0.7 ± 0.5) compared to the CA group (0.6 ± 0.1). The CA group has higher values for both Castelli\u27s indices (I: 5.4 ± 0.7, II: 3.6 ± 0.6) compared to the PCI group (I: 4.0 ± 1.9, II: 2.0 ± 1.8). The CA group has a higher average AC index (4.4 ± 0.7) compared to the PCI group (3.0 ± 1.9).
Conclusion: Daily practice should consider parameters like AC, AIP, CR I&II, which can better reflect complex lipid metabolism and are more easily calculated than traditional lipid parameters
