Quantitative evaluation of Employee Substitutability in manufacturing using Cosine Similarity and Principal Component Analysis
Employee substitutability in manufacturing plays a key role in ensuring production efficiency and seamless workflow transitions. This study explores algorithms and computational methods to quantify substitutability using operational performance data. In work are used employ Cosine Similarity and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to evaluate how closely employees' work patterns align. Cosine Similarity measures the resemblance between employee task performance, while PCA reduces dimensionality to highlight key differences in skill sets. A dataset containing employee operation counts and execution times was analyzed using these methods. The results indicate that employees with high Cosine Similarity scores exhibit comparable performance levels, while PCA effectively identifies clusters of employees with similar efficiency patterns. Combining both techniques provides a comprehensive methodology for employee substitutability, workforce optimization and facilitating task reallocation

The analysis of international trade remains important and relevant regardless of the fact that this type of business has a very long and rich history. MIESTŲ TURISTINIO PATRAUKLUMO JAUNIMUI VEIKSNIAI IR STIPRINIMO GALIMYBĖS
Youth is one of the most active age groups traveling worldwide. Their travel style, goals, and criteria for choosing destinations differ significantly from those of other age groups. Domestic tourism is one of the most popular travel choices among young people. Local youth tourism invigorates the country’s tourism market, especially during the off-season. Therefore, positioning cities as attractive destinations for youth travel is a key objective for all major cities in Lithuania.
The aim of the study: to determine how Lithuanian youth perceive the attractiveness of Vilnius, Kaunas, and Klaipėda in the local tourism market.
When evaluating the components of tourist attractiveness for youth in Vilnius, Kaunas, and Klaipėda, respondents clearly differentiated the strengths of the analyzed cities. For Vilnius, the best-rated aspects were the overall atmosphere of the city, the general aesthetic appeal, the attractiveness of tourist sites, and the suitability of green spaces for visitors. In Kaunas, the highest ratings were given to cleanliness and order, the city's aesthetic appeal, and conditions for sports and active leisure. In Klaipėda, the top-rated factors were the city's safety, the appeal of the local community, and the transportation system within the city. On a ten-point scale, respondents rated Vilnius' attractiveness at an average of 8.45 points, Kaunas at 8.12 points, and Klaipėda at 6.74 points. The majority of respondents noted that youth from other cities would visit Vilnius, Kaunas, or Klaipėda more often if travel-related service prices were lower, if there were more events, more entertainment options, and more leisure venues
PROJEKTUOJAMOS STATYBOS SKLYPO GEOLOGINIŲ CHARAKTERISTIKŲ TYRIMO REZULTATŲ TAIKYMAS PASTATO PAMATŲ MODELYJE
Foundations are an essential element of any building as they take the effects of structural and variable loads and distribute them evenly into the soil, ensuring the stability and durability of the building. Even if soils are visually similar, the mechanical and physical properties can vary considerably between different locations on the same site. To determine these soil properties, IGG boreholes were made. IGG boreholes are boreholes used to determine the engineering geological and hydrogeological structure of the part of the subsurface related to the object of the study, to determine the composition and properties of the soils or rocks, and to take samples of soils, rocks and groundwater [1]. Sandy clay of medium plasticity, sandy clay of low plasticity and dust occur throughout the study area to a depth of 4,7-5,0 m, and the water table aquifer lies at a depth of 2,0 m from the surface. The calculation of the foundation options shall be based on the most heavily loaded structure and on the results of the borehole with the weakest soil characteristics. A shallow foundation transfers all the loads to the subsoil by means of the footing, while a pile foundation transfers part of the loads to the soil at the lateral surface. The material requirements for the shallow foundation are estimated to be 22% higher, while the pile foundation requires more expensive machinery. The bearing capacity reserve of a pile foundation is 1,5 times higher than that of a shallow foundation

THE PROS AND CONS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN MODERN SPECIALTY LANGUAGE TEACHING / LEARNING
This theoretical literature review critically examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in English as a specialty language (ESL) teaching / learning, considering both its potential benefits and limitations. Grounded in specialty language acquisition theories and educational psychology, the article synthesizes findings from 2022–2025 to assess AI-driven tools in gaining smoother writing and speaking skills. The methodology is a conceptual analysis of ten recent studies rather than new empirical research. Key findings indicate that AI can enhance ESL writing through immediate, tailored feedback and improve speaking proficiency via low-anxiety conversational practice. The analysis also shows that AI integration can boost learner’s motivation and positive effect (e.g., reduced anxiety and increased confidence), creating a supportive emotional climate for language learning. Additionally, the article discusses the evolving role of teachers: educators become facilitators who integrate AI into education, ensuring technological augments rather than replacing human instructions. The review concludes that while AI offers significant benefits for ESL, effective implementation requires a guided human–AI collaboration
GAMYBINĖS LINIJOS, NAUDOJANT DUOMENŲ SURINKIMO SISTEMĄ, EFEKTYVUMO TYRIMAS
This article presents a methodology for evaluating the efficiency of a conveyor-based production line in the textile industry using an automated data collection system. The primary goal of the study is to assess production performance through real-time data acquisition and analysis. The developed approach enables efficiency measurement through two alternative methods: analyzing individual worker productivity and evaluating the overall production line output.
The research utilizes production data collected from a textile manufacturing company, incorporating both the company's ETON transportation systems and a previously proposed data collection device. Based on these data, mathematical models were developed to calculate efficiency metrics. The study evaluates 12 production periods, demonstrating that worker productivity does not always correlate with final production output. The results indicate that discrepancies between the two calculation methods are within 6 percentage points in 8 out of 12 cases. Larger deviations may signal operational inefficiencies such as bottlenecks, idle time, workflow disruptions, rework, or data entry errors.
The findings confirm that both efficiency evaluation methods are valid and can be applied to monitor production line performance. The insights gained from this study can contribute to optimizing manufacturing processes and improving overall operational efficiency. The proposed methodology provides a valuable tool for identifying production constraints and enhancing workflow organization in automated manufacturing environments
THE INFORMATION BEHAVIOR OF THE EMPLOYEES OF THE MANUFACTURING COMPANY
The article deals with the analysis of the information behavior of the manufacturing company. The analysis of the scientific literature shows that information behavior is the communication of information by individuals consisting of more than one element of information acquisition and use. The empirical research shows that the employees of the manufacturing company need to develop competence in information behavior. Therefore, it can be said that large amounts and abundance of information are creating new tools faster than company employees learn to work with them, and additional attention should be paid to avoid the resulting lack of information behavioral competencies

The article examines the variability of current assets in an agricultural enterprise, with a focus on how seasonality impacts liquidity. This sector experiences seasonal fluctuations and cyclical changes in biological assets, leading to ongoing shifts in the composition of current assets. The study shows that seasonality and changes in the production process directly influence variations in current assets, while increasing cash balances is vital for maintaining liquidity. The findings emphasize the importance of effective working capital management and precise accounting in optimizing the financial health of agricultural businesses. It was determined that fluctuations in inventories and cash are the primary factors impacting the enterprise's economic stability
DEGALŲ ORO SANTYKIO ĮTAKOS VARIKLIO GALIAI IR IŠMETAMŲJŲ DUJŲ KOKYBEI TYRIMAS
Straipsnyje nagrinėjamas oro–kuro mišinio (AFR) poveikis variklio galiai ir išmetamųjų dujų kokybei. Aprašoma bandymų eiga naudojant originalią (stock) ir modifikuotą (chip) ECU programą. Analizuojami galios matavimai ant stendo, diagnostiniai rodmenys bei emisijų duomenys, gauti taikant Bosch ESI ir EGA5 analizės sistemas. Išryškinama AFR reikšmė degimo efektyvumui ir emisijų kontrolei. Įvertinama, kaip pariebintas mišinys veikia galios kreivę bei mažina NOx emisijas
