SUSTAINABILITY AND ETHICAL PRACTICES OF THE APPAREL INDUSTRY IN INDIA
This study provides a comprehensive examination of sustainability challenges and ethical practices in India's $165 billion apparel industry, analysing data from 2020-2024. As the world's second-largest textile producer, India's garment sector faces mounting pressure to balance economic growth with environmental stewardship and social responsibility. The research evaluates three critical dimensions: environmental impacts, labour conditions, and policy frameworks, drawing on case studies of leading brands and empirical industry data. Findings reveal significant progress in water conservation, with large manufacturers achieving 60% reductions through advanced technologies like zero-liquid discharge systems. However, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) lag due to financial constraints, while chemical pollution from dyeing processes remains a persistent challenge. Circular economy initiatives show promise but require scalable infrastructure and policy support for wider adoption

VICIOUS CIRCLE OF POVERTY: THE PSYCHOLOGICAL BARRIERS AND COPING STRATEGIES
In most cases, material dimensions are emphasized while defining poverty lines and minimum standards of welfare. However, there are different approaches to defining poverty due to its interdisciplinary nature. In 1995, the multidimensional definition of poverty was adopted and approved at the World Summit on Social Development in Copenhagen. According to the latter, poverty is described in deprivation terms connected with each other, with an emphasis on poverty-related stigma, discrimination, vulnerability, and social exclusion (United Nations, 1995). Current article overviews the empirical data to analyze how public stigma toward poor people might be interiorized in their identities which in result causes negative feelings toward their selves and passive behaviors to improve social-economic conditions. Coping strategies and policy level recommendations are also discussed for developing social services for poor people

EXPLORING THE STRATEGIC ROLE OF FAN ART CONTESTS IN GAME BRAND COMMUNICATION: AN ANALYSIS ON IMC AND UGC SYNERGY
This study explores how the integration of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) principles enhances the strategic value of fan art contests as user-generated content (UGC)-driven brand communication initiatives in the gaming industry. Through qualitative case and content analysis of 38 fan art contests held by ten leading game companies from 2022 to 2024, the research identifies how IMC elements are embedded in UGC practices. A coding framework was developed based on established IMC planning principles and executed using MAXQDA software. The findings reveal three core insights: first, although the application of IMC elements across UGC activities is uneven, high-frequency co-occurrence among elements such as co-creation, interactivity, and multichannel communication significantly enhances brand co-creation potential. Second, different companies exhibit distinct strategic preferences, forming biased communication orientations through specific combinations of IMC and UGC tactics. Third, short-term incentive mechanisms, such as material and virtual rewards, dominate current practices, while creative support remains largely absent, limiting the sustainability of long-term brand co-creation ecosystems. These findings contribute to a better understanding of IMC-UGC synergy and offer practical implications for optimizing brand communication strategies in digital fan communities
