Get PDFThe contribution aims to consider the dimension of sculpture at the Venice Biennial in 1950. It is an emblematic case study aiming to analyze sculptural research dynamics immediately after World War II in relation to its critical reception and, specifically, to this segment of the art market.The essay describes the literature about sculpture in the post war Biennials and previous studies which investigate the problem of the sales, analyzing original sources and documents. Along with the catalogue, many other materials kept by Archivio Storico delle Arti Contemporanee (ASAC) were considered, including copies of the sales registers compiled by head of Ufficio vendite Ettore Gian Ferrari, minutes of the commission for the visual arts chaired by Rodolfo Pallucchini and coeval press review. The study is a first analysis about the logic behind the market of contemporary sculpture, in a decade that saw the rising of a new concept of sculpture that overcome the traditional meaning of sculpture which still had its roots in the 19th Centur

No full textThis article presents the results of an action research study commissioned by the Genera Social Cooperative, which it financed using the fiscal tool of the tax credit after assuming the management of two preschools in the Milanese hinterland historically operated by the municipality. Absorbing all the municipal educational team into a new organisational configuration with the cooperative\u27s educators generated a major management criticality due to a high level of conflict and poor acceptance of the new organisational management. The research study focused on reflecting with the participants on the role of diversity in the workplace and its impacts, positive and negative, on interpersonal relationships between the workers and consequently on educational practice. The action research methodology adopted made it possible to identify criticalities and modify practices during the research process itself and ultimately to draw up a protocol for managing diversity in the workplace.L’articolo presenta gli esiti di una ricerca-azione commissionata da una Società Cooperativa Sociale con il dispositivo fiscale del credito di imposta a seguito dell’acquisizione di due asili nido dell’hinterland milanese storicamente gestiti dal comune. L’assorbimento di tutto il personale educativo comunale ha generato, nella nuova ricomposizione con le educatrici della cooperativa, una forte criticità di gestione per l’alto livello di conflittualità, frammentazione e scarsa adesione alla nuova gestione organizzativa. La ricerca si è focalizzata sul riflettere con i partecipanti sul ruolo della diversità nei luoghi di lavoro, sugli impatti sia in termini positivi che negativi nelle relazioni interpersonali tra lavoratrici e lavoratori e sul conseguente agire educativo. La metodologia della ricerca-azione ha consentito di identificare gli aspetti critici e modificare le pratiche già durante il processo di ricerca attraverso la costruzione di un’identità organizzativa e pedagogica comune e, in ultima istanza, ha consentito di elaborare un protocollo per la gestione della diversità nei luoghi di lavoro
La narrazione come approccio innovativo per la formazione inclusiva del docente: dalle storie di vita al cambiamento professionale
No full textThe article investigates storytelling as an innovative approach to inclusive teacher training, following two directions. The first concerns the power of life stories, which are capable of deepening complex phenomena such as those related to disability. Life stories, in fact, allow the reader to go into the heart of pedagogical issues starting from the narrator\u27s point of view. Thanks to the meet with narratives, teachers in training have the opportunity to mend the plots of different existences, to access a generative space of self-transformation and change for the educational and didactic relationship. The second concerns the value of the narrative for educational practices in initial and lifelong education and the role of autobiographical writing in the process of professionalization and recursive reconstruction of professional identity. To this aim, a format used in training classes for support teachers will be presented.
L’articolo indaga la narrazione come approccio innovativo per la formazione inclusiva del docente, attraversando essenzialmente due direzioni. La prima relativa al potere delle storie di vita in grado di far immergere nella conoscenza di fenomeni complessi come quelli correlati alle disabilità, scendendo nel cuore delle questioni pedagogiche a partire dal punto degli attori biografici. Grazie all’incontro con le narrazioni gli insegnanti in formazione hanno la possibilità di ricucire le trame delle diverse esistenze, per accedere a uno spazio generativo di trasformazione di sé e della relazione educativa e didattica. La seconda riguarda il valore della narrazione delle pratiche educative nella formazione iniziale e continua e del ruolo della scrittura autobiografica nel processo di professionalizzazione e di ricostruzione ricorsiva dell’identità professionale. Ad esemplificazione, viene presentato un format utilizzato nei percorsi di formazione degli insegnanti per il sostegno

Covid-19 has dramatically questioned the old pattern based upon Mass Public Transit and Skyscrapers. 500,000 citizens have abandoned New York City as a consequence of its high death rate. In New York City people died 3 times more than in the rest of the United States. The same happened in many other metropolis such as Madrid, London, Milan. Cities need to rethink their urban pattern according to the needs of safety and accessibility strongly advocated by citizens. The new Healthy City will be based upon the Garden City pattern with a correct balance between density and safety

A trial and error process in the making of an artistic or a scientific craft is grounded upon the idea that the core of the craft already lies in nature. Such process leaves unsolved questions, like why isn’t anyone a creator due to the simple trial and error? A junghian approach to the matter may find answers in the archetypes. Get PDFThe main inspiration that led Florestano Vancini’s film career was Italian history. Although his attention was mostly drawn to major events from the 20th century – as in the highly praised La lunga notte del ’43 (1960) –, the Ferrarese director showed a considerable interest for the Renaissance era. The aim of this essay is to investigate the relationship that Vancini had with the “Umanesimo” in Ferrara. The first part of the present contribution analyses a short film from 1949, Amanti senza fortuna, staging the tragic events that involved Parisina Malatesta and her step-son Ugo d’Este. After that, other Vancini’s works are taken into consideration, such as the now lost La città di Messer Ludovico (1951), focusing on the great Renaissance poet Ludovico Ariosto; Ferrara (1995), a short TV movie showing the beautiful architecture of the town; and Lucrezia Borgia. Una intervista impossibile di Maria Bellonci (2002), a medium-length film dedicated to the tormented wife of Alfonso I d’Este. The final part of the essay analyses E ridendo l’uccise (2005), the last feature film directed by Vancini. Set at the time of the feud among the four Este brothers, the movie sheds light on a bloody page of the history of Ferrara viewed from the perspective of a jester, a character with a complex role in the social context of the Estense court
