Archeologia della ricerca e archeologia della tutela: Ranuccio Bianchi Bandinelli e Massimo Pallottino tra DC e PCI

    No full text
The positive role of archaeologists represents one of the many aspects of the relationship between archaeology and politics. By analyzing the legal processes and broader cultural debates that led to heritage law commissions, urban planning, and superintendence reforms, it is possible to outline a complex discussion among different branches of archaeology. Critical archaeological figures, such as Bianchi Bandinelli and Massimo Pallottino, came to represent and support the new political identities of early republican Italy. Within a determined time frame (1945-1970), this paper follows the concrete developments of archaeological interventionist tendencies, motivated by a common desire to establish a legal apparatus to protect cultural heritage and archaeological work, but supported by different and opposing political visions.

In principio era l’azione. Verso una definizione enattiva dello schema corporeo

Representing our body has a pivotal role in our experience of the external world. The point, however, is that the corporeity is too much complex to be depicted in a unique framework. Accordingly, authors from both scientific and philosophical literature of the last century share the idea that at least two different bodily representations exist, namely the body schema and the body image. Unfortunately, because of the absence of clear definitions, these two representations have often been treated in an interchangeable way, thus engendering a great confusion in literature. The main attempt to solve such a confusion is provided by Shaun Gallagher’s argument about the conceptual nature of the dualism between body schema and body image. The problem thus is not just a matter of terminology, on the contrary body schema and body image are conceptually different, because they represent different aspects of the body by referring to different processes. Under this aspect Gallagher’s solution is totally convincing, but there exist reasons – theoretical as well as empirical – to assume that the criteria indicated are not consistent. More precisely, in this dissertation we are going to focus our attention on the contribution coming from the field of neuroscience. As a consequence, the standard notion of body schema as postural schema finalized to the accomplishment of movement must be replaced by a new notion of body schema related to the capacity of performing actions.Representing our body has a pivotal role in our experience of the external world. Miglioramento dell\u27efficienza energetica in sistemi aggregati di edilizia pre-industriale di base, tra istanze conservative e prestazionali. Valutazione quantitativa del fabbisogno di energia in alcuni aggregati nel centro urbano di Ferrara

The energy performance of buildings, their needs and the possibilities of energy saving, have long been an issue in the debate of construction and real estate sectors. The transposition of the Directive 2002/91/EC (EPBD), as well as of the Directive 2010/31/EU, has modified the relationship between building and energy, also in existing buildings. On the other hand, the energy performance certificate (EPC) spreading has changed the real estate perception. Energy upgrade is a good way for retrofit existing buildings of the second half of the 20th century, but not for all existing buildings. The cultural heritage and preindustrial basic building should be a special case to discuss. Several studies discuss energy performance of single building, building stock, heritage building and also urban comfort. The planning of actual energy policies and the organization of targeted action in the structural planning, can only start from the knowledge of the real state of things. With the aim of validating the real need for improvement of energy performance in preindustrial basic building, my dissertation provides an in-depth quantitative analysis of the thermal energy demand and the improvement of energy efficiency in preindustrial basic building, through the analytical investigation of the case studies in the urban center of Ferrara. The energy performance of buildings, their needs and the possibilities of energy saving, have long been an issue in the debate of construction and real estate sectors. EMMA BOVARY: UNA FIGURA DELL’EMANCIPAZIONE ESTETICA. UNA RIFLESSIONE CRITICA A PARTIRE DA JACQUES RANCIÈRE

    No full text
With an imaginary identification, Jacques Rancière considers Emma Bovary\u27s experience as a literary equivalent of workers\u27 emancipation. Starting from its aesthetic-political categories, the article proposes a critical reading of Madame Bovary as a scene of dissent in which the conflict with the dominant language and the dis-identification with respect to "natural" destiny are embodied in a conceptual character which he attributes to himself by transgression that capacity that belongs to anyone to participate in the configuration of the partition of the sensitive and to modify one\u27s own form of life

RESIDENZE ARTISTICHE: STRUMENTO DI SVILUPPO DELLA PRODUZIONE CULTURALE

    No full text
Born in the 1970s of the past century, the artistic Residence is rooted in the Italian system with the understanding of 2014, signed between the permanent conference, the state, the regions and the autonomous regions, finalized towards the “promotion and development of the system of artistic Residences, which are experiences of the renewal of creative processes, of mobility and of national and international artistic confrontation, of the increasing of access and of qualification of demand”. In 2017 a new understanding of triennial duration has consolidated the Residence introducing the distinction between “Centers of Residence” and the projects “Artists in the territories”. The Fitzcarraldo Foundation has carried out an important activity of monitoring during the 2018-20 triennial. Analyzing this, one notes that the Residence has become a significant opportunity reachable by artists, even rookies and novices, to consider as an essential part of their course of formation
