Physiotherapy techniques used in the sensation of the phantom limb in patients with amputation of the superior member, systematic review
Introduction: the sensation of a phantom limb is experienced by people who have had an amputation or loss of one of their limbs and continue to perceive its presence; in most cases it occurs within days or in the first month. Objective: determine which are the most used physiotherapy techniques in the treatment of phantom limb sensation and which of them is the most effective.Method: a search was carried out in main databases such as PubMed, Scopus, Cochrane and ScienceDirect, under the guidelines of the PRISMA model, for the last 5 years, where 9 studies were selected. Results: there are several techniques that are applied in phantom limb pain such as: mirror therapy, graded motor images, neurofeedback training, repetitive magnetic cranial stimulation, BCI training and virtual reality. These showed a prolonged reduction in pain, improving quality of life and therefore activities of daily living. The most outstanding result indicates that virtual reality and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation reduces DMF and its characteristics despite the fact that the most used is mirror therapy because it is economical and easy to apply. Conclusions: the physiotherapeutic techniques used in the sensation of the phantom limb are diverse that help to improve the symptoms in the short-term depending on the treatment to be applied, avoiding surgical and pharmacological intervention

Moroccan Public Universities Confronting the Challenge of Patent Valorization: Potentialities and Realities
This study examines the intricate dynamics of patent valorization within Moroccan higher education institutions, highlighting a pronounced contrast between the efficiency of patent generation and the inherent challenges in their commercial exploitation. Leveraging a qualitative methodology, particularly through in-depth interviews with key stakeholders involved in the patent valorization process within public universities, the research uncovers the primary obstacles that impede the transformation of university patents into marketable innovations. These obstacles include a lack of specifically allocated funding for post-patent development phases, a deficiency in marketing and entrepreneurship skills among academic staff, limited interactions with the industry, and a regulatory framework perceived as restrictive. Based on these observations, we propose a set of strategic recommendations on two levels: national and university. Nationally, we recommend the establishment of dedicated valorization funds to finance key commercialization phases, a substantial revision of the regulatory framework to simplify and encourage the valorization process, and the implementation of incentive mechanisms to strengthen collaborations between universities and the industrial sector. Within university settings, it is crucial to integrate specialized training programs for researchers and valorization managers focused on intellectual property management and technology transfer, and to bolster existing valorization structures. These structures should be equipped with the necessary resources to efficiently identify and support patentable innovations. Furthermore, it is advised to promote the creation of incubators and accelerators within universities to support innovative startups emerging from academic research. The ultimate aim of this contribution is to provide strategic guidance for enhancing the effectiveness of university patent valorization, thereby fostering innovation and contributing to Morocco\u27s economic developmen
Pre-Professional Placement Intervention Models in the Social Work programmed at the Technical University of Manabí in 2024
Introduction: pre-professional placements are a fundamental component of Social Work students\u27 education, as they enable them to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts. However, at the Technical University of Manabí, no prior research has been conducted on the intervention models utilized.
