No full textInternational audienceThrough an exploration of conceptual frameworks and practical implications, light is shed on how monitoring-evaluation (M-E), when properly implemented, serve as a powerful lever for transparency, accountability, and improvement of organizational performance. The analysis of current practices in public institutions reveals challenges related to the effective application of M-E, notably a marked preference for regulatory compliance at the expense of performance and impact evaluation. The need for a deeper and harmonized integration of M-E in the management of public institutions is emphasized, highlighting its importance for strengthening accountability, transparency, and institutional efficiency. This is crucial for effectively responding to citizens' expectations and the demands of sustainable development. The article advocates for a rebalancing of M&E practices to not only prioritize the regularity of actions but also and especially the appreciation of performance and impact, a majorchallenge for the continuous improvement of publicintervention.À travers une exploration des cadres conceptuels et des implications pratiques, une lumière est jetée sur la manière dont le suivi et évaluation (S-E), lorsqu'ils sont correctement mis en œuvre, servent de levier puissant pour la transparence, la responsabilité, et l'amélioration de la performance organisationnelle. L'analyse des pratiques actuelles dans les établissements publics révèle les défis liés à l'application effective du S-E, notamment une préférence marquée pour la conformité réglementaire au détriment de l'évaluation de performance et d’impact. La nécessité d'une intégration plus profonde et harmonisée du S-E dans la gestion des établissements publics est soulignée, en mettant en avant son importance pour renforcer la responsabilité, la transparence, et l'efficacité institutionnelle. Cela est crucial pour répondre efficacement aux attentes des citoyens et aux exigences du développement durable. L'article plaide en faveur d'un rééquilibrage des pratiques du S-E pour qu'elles privilégient non seulement la régularité des actions mais aussi et surtout l’appréciation de la performance et d’impact, un défi majeur pour l'amélioration continue de l’intervention publique

Un banchetto per l'eternità. Una nuova testimonianza pittorica dalla necropoli di Cuma
No full textInternational audienceDa diversi anni, l’équipe del Centre Jean Bérard conduce ricerche nell’area situata immediatamente al di fuori delle fortificazioni settentrionali della città di Cuma dove, nel corso dei secoli, si è sviluppata una grande necropoli pluristratificata.Nel II secolo a.C., il paesaggio funerario davanti alla Porta mediana si anima della presenza di imponenti tombe a camera ipogeica, con volte a botte e facciata monumentale, costruite in blocchi squadrati di tufo, destinate ad accogliere inumazioni plurime, deposte in cassoni o su letti funerari. Nel mese di giugno di quest’anno è stata riportata alla luce una nuova tomba riferibile alla stessa tipologia architettonica, ma dall’eccezionale decorazione figurata. La fascia della cornice modanata è ricoperta da intonaco di colore bianco, sulle pareti al di sotto della cornice è steso dell’intonaco di colore rosso piuttosto acceso mentre l’intradosso della volta è giallo racchiuso da una fascia arancio chiaro. I primi 4 corsi della volta sopra la cornice e le lunette in corrispondenza dell’accesso e del muro di fondo sono decorati con scene di paesaggio e di banchetto.La qualità delle pitture è eccezionale. Purtroppo la tomba è stata più volte visitata e pochi sono gli elementi di corredo recuperati, anche se sufficienti a confermarne la datazione.Per motivi di conservazione e di tutela parte della decorazione è stata staccata ed è stato intrapreso un progetto di restauro e valorizzazione grazie a una collaborazione tra il Parco archeologico dei Campi Flegrei, il Museo Nazionale archeologico di Napoli, l’Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne e il Centre Jean Bérard.È stata inoltre avviata una collaborazione con il DISTAR dell’Università Federico II di Napoli e il DST dell’Università del Sannio per svolgere la caratterizzazione degli intonaci e delle superfici dipinte, in particolare per l’identificazione dei tipi di pigmenti impiegati e la tecnica esecutiva delle maestranze. L’approccio analitico ha previsto due livelli di acquisizione delle informazioni. In una prima fase, sono state eseguite analisi in spettroscopia FT-IR e Raman, riflettografia IR e riprese UV. Nella seconda fase, sono state condotte indagini micro-stratigrafiche con microscopio ottico a luce polarizzata (PLM) ed elettronica a scansione (SEM) per la caratterizzazione di ciascuno strato di malta e annesse superfici dipinte. I temi rappresentati sulle pareti della tomba, poco consueti per questo periodo cronologico, offrono nuovi e importanti spunti di riflessione per delineare e ricostruire l’evoluzione artistica della pittura parietale cumana
Lethal Giant Disc is a target of Cdk1 and regulates ESCRT-III localization during germline stem cell abscission
No full textInternational audienceAbscission is the final step of cytokinesis which allows the physical separation of sister cells through the scission of the cellular membrane. This deformation is driven by ESCRT-III proteins which can bind membranes and form dynamic helices. A crucial step in abscission is the recruitment of ESCRT-III proteins at the right time and place. Alix is one of the best characterized proteins that recruits ESCRT-III proteins from yeast to mammals. However, recent studies in vivo revealed that pathways acting independently or redundantly with Alix are also required at abscission sites in different cellular contexts. Here, we show that Lgd acts redundantly with Alix to properly localize ESCRT-III to the abscission site in Germline Stem Cells (GSCs) during Drosophila oogenesis. We further demonstrate that Lgd is phosphorylated at multiple sites by the CycB/Cdk1 kinase. We found that these phosphorylation events potentiate the activity of Shrub, a Drosophila ESCRT-III, during abscission of GSCs. Our study reveals that redundancy between Lgd and Alix, and coordination with the cell cycle kinase Cdk1, confers robust and timely abscission of Drosophila germline stem cells
