On Uniform h-Stability of Evolution Operators in Banach Spaces

The paper treats the general concept of uniform h-stability, as a generalization of uniform exponential stabilityfor evolution operators in Banach spaces. The main aim is to give necessary and sucient conditions of Datko-type and Barbashin-type for this property andalso criterias for uniform h-stability using Lyapunov functions. As particular cases, we obtain the results for uniformexponential stability

Results on Approximation Properties in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Normed Linear Spaces

In this paper we introduce the notions approximation properties (APs) and bounded approximation properties(BAPs) in the setting of intuitionistic fuzzy normed linear spaces (IFNLSs). Further, we define strong intuitionisticfuzzy continuous and strong intuitionistic fuzzy bounded operators and using them we prove the existence of anIFNLS which does not have the approximation property. In addition, we give example of an IFNLS with the APwhich fails to have the BAP

    Fuzzy Differential Superordination

S.S. Miller and P.T. Mocanu in (Miller & Mocanu, 2003) the notion of differential superordination as a dualconcept of differential subordination (Miller & Mocanu, 2000) . In (Oros & Oros, 2011) The authors define the notionof fuzzy subordination, in (Oros & Oros, 2012b) they define the notion of fuzzy differential subordination and in (Oros& Oros, Jun2012a) they determine conditions for a function to be a dominant of the fuzzy differential subordinationand they also gave the best dominant. In this paper, we introduced the concept of fuzzy differential superordinationand we set conditions for a function to be subordinant of fuzzy differential superordination and we also give the bestsubordinant

Decomposition of Continuity in a Fuzzy Sequential Topological Space

A new class of fuzzy sequential sets called fs-preopen sets is introduced and characterized. An fs-precontinuous mapping and strongly fs-precontinuous mapping are defined and studied. A necessary and sufficient condition under which an fs-preopen set is fs-open has been established. Apart from that, different kinds of sets, namely, fs alpha-open set, fs delta-set, fs A-set, locally fs-closed set, and fs S-preopen set have been studied. The interrelationships between them are investigated. Using them and the associated continuities, various decompositions of fs-continuity have been established

The practice of organizing sports events is a new area of research and therefore requires further studies. The objective of this study was to identify events that have different values and characteristics from traditional sports competitions. To this end, a survey of information about these events and an interview with the organizing committees of these events were carried out. The study was guided by qualitative research, of a descriptive and interpretative nature, involving interviews and documentary research of the events selected for the study. After reading the data, information was gathered to better understand the values of the Educational, Sports, Cultural and Solidarity Tournament (TECSESP). As a result, we found that there is a sports organizational model for holding this event, the organizing committee of TECSESP that seeks to promulgate values that are passed on through the actions of participants and organizers. Because the event is held periodically, it has been structuring itself and seeking to be increasingly aligned with its target audience in a process of collaboration

The study investigated the roles of differentiated instruction on cognitive engagement and achievement among colleges of education chemistry students in South-West, Nigeria. Two research questions and two null hypotheses guided the study. Non-randomized Quasi-experimental design was used for the study. The population of the study was 240 year three students of chemistry in Federal Colleges of Education in South-West, Nigeria. A sample size of 180 students was purposively selected from three schools. Students’ Cognitive Engagement Questionnaire (SCEQ) adapted from Barlow et al. (2020) and Chemistry Achievement Test (CAT) developed by the researchers, were the instruments used for data collection. These instruments were validated by three experts in Psychology, Chemistry, and Measurement and Evaluation, Faculty of education, University of Nigeria Nsukka. Internal consistency reliability coefficient of SCEQ was established using Cronbach Alpha technique as 0.82. KuderRichardson formula 20 was used to estimate reliability coefficient of CAT as 0.76. SCEQ and CAT were administered to the students with the help of the research assistants. Mean and standard deviation were used to answer research questions, whereas t-test was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The result showed that the students taught chemistry using differentiated instruction improved in their cognitive engagement and achievement. The study also revealed that there were significant difference in the mean cognitive engagement and achievement scores of students taught with differentiated instruction and those taught using lecture method. It was recommended amongst others that Chemistry teachers should adopt the approach as it would foster improve cognitive engagement and achievement among Chemistry students

VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION: A CATALYST FOR SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN A DISTRESSED ECONOMY : 10.24250/jpe/2/2025/MOAS/NOO/

This paper examines vocational and technical education: a catalyst for socio-economic development in a distressed economy. The paper discusses the various ways that vocational and technical education can serve as catalyst for socio-economic development in a distressed economy. It draws attention to the purposeful efforts made to ensure that the country's potential is realized as well as the significance of vocational and technical education in the process of national development. Even for those who dropped out of high school or post-secondary education, there were always employment available with perks throughout the early 1950s and 1970s. The remarkable shift in the job market demands that vocational education programs be prioritized and expanded in order to address the issue of unemployment, which has grown to be a significant social crisis in Nigeria. According to the study, Nigeria must increase its investments in vocational and technical education if it hopes to fulfill its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and become a part of the technology-driven global community. Ultimately, the government and the private sector should collaborate, according to this report, in order to sustain and grow vocational education and training in Nigeria. The programme's vision and mission should be clearly stated by VTE stakeholders, and they should be completely carried out. In order to maintain the commitment of employers and the business sector to VTE, legislators had to propose legislation pertaining to fresh reform measures

The growing geriatric population creates a greater need forintegrated psychosocial therapies in old-age homes toenhance mental health, cognition, and social integration. This article provides an evidence-based description ofwell-established psychosocial therapies, includingcognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), reminiscence therapy, mindfulness practices, positive psychology interventions, social activity programs, and creative therapies like artand music therapy. Drawing on previous theoreticalframeworks, such as the Successful Aging Model,Socioemotional Selectivity Theory, and the CognitiveReserve Hypothesis, this study investigates how theseinterventions influence psychological resilience and qualityof life in aging populations. A central focus is given to thetranslatability of psychosocial therapies to institutionalsettings, with consideration of challenges such as resourcelimitations, training, and resistance to change. Bestpractice for psychosocial integration, including theapplication of custom-designed care models andtechnology solutions, is reviewed. Ethical dilemmas, including autonomy, informed consent, and culturalresponsiveness, are considered against the background ofelder dignity and rights. Moreover, policy options highlightage-friendly healthcare policies based on prioritization ofintegrated holistic well-being. The findings emphasize theimportance of multi-dimensional psychosocial care of theolder population and invite continued research on the effectiveness of long-term intervention, cross-culturalapplicability, and innovative digital strategies to olderpopulations. With an emphasis on evidence-based methods, this article aims to contribute to the evolution ofpsychosocial care in older adult care towards increasingdignity, activity, and emotional strength in older age
