PRACTICAL TEACHING MODELS THROUGH OUTDOOR EDUCATION IN THE CORE PROCUREMENT CYCLE: 10.24250/JPE/2/2020/HT/CE
Learning outside the study hall is educational plan-based instructing and learning exercises that go past the dividers of the homeroom. It incorporates any educational program-based movement that happens outside the school running from a gallery or field visit, to a games trip, or open-air instruction camp. It is based on the curriculum, and also on the imagination of teachers, who have to properly and wisely combine the curricular contents, methods and resources in order the get the most efficient results. These results are not just based on school grades, but also regarding transversal competencies and emotional intelligence.
In the present article, we would like to present a set of outdoor teaching and learning practical models, based on the core procurement cycle curriculum in Romania, in order to help primary school teachers in organizing similar activities for their classes, based on different school subjects. We would also like to present a main model of planning outdoor learning activities and its outcomes
DEVELOPMENT OF CRITICAL THINKING THROUGH ONLINE ACTIVITIES: 10.24250/JPE/2/2020/CMC
The present research capitalizes the activity carried out within the project Development and implementation of innovative motivational and didactic tools for the inclusive school in Sibiu, the module Development of critical thinking. The course started with face-to-face training activities. The pandemic caused the entire training activity to be reoriented and carried out through ONLINE activity. The research presented involved 71 teachers, in three working groups, from several schools. Each of the three groups spent 13-hour ONLINE activity, in which both learning sequences and applications, psycho-pedagogical reflections and sequences of continuous evaluation were procedeed. The course itself pursued, permanently, two purposes: to cover the contents related to Critical Thinking (the role of critical thinking in achieving learning, benefits of critical thinking, ways of development, problems faced by teachers) and to practise methods of thinking development critical, so that, by transfer, the teachers can lead them in the activities specific to the subject they teach. In addition, the development of ONLINE activities has generated a third goal: familiarizing teachers with work tools, using google forms, for specific methods of critical thinking. The research results have confirmed the formative value and the beneficial impact of the practical applicative character of the carried out activities
PERSONALITY AND SUBSTANCE USE
The purpose of this study is, first and foremost, to investigate whether there is a link between a personality trait (impulsivity) and substance use and, also to investigate whether there are significant differences between impulsivity levels and substance use levels. Participants completed online a google form that included demographic questions, a questionnaire that measures the level of substance use and one that measures the level of impulsivity. The results showed that the level of impulsivity correlated positively with the level of tobacco consumption, but also with the level of alcohol consumption. In addition, significant differences were found in impulsivity between the 3 levels of cannabis use (low consumption, moderate consumption, high consumption). The results suggest that there is an association between certain facets of impulsivity and tobacco, alcohol and cannabis use.
Key words: impulsivity, consumption, substance, tobacco, alcohol, cannabis
THE MEDIATING ROLE OF THE PSYCHOLOGICAL CONTRACT FULFILLMENT
The present paper describes the psychological contract fulfillment from the perspective of the Job Demands-Resources Model (J-DR) (Demerouti, Bakker, Nachreiner & Schaufeli, 2001) and the Social Exchange Theory (Blau, 1964). Through this study we want to integrate the concept of the psychological contract fulfillment in the job resource model and analyze the social exchange process between the results and characteristics of the job, to answer the research question whether the psychological contract fulfillment will mediate the relationship between job demands and work results (Birtch, Chiang, & Van Esch, 2016). Increased demands on the job will cause employees to experience lower levels of psychological contract fulfillment, which will lead to lower job satisfaction and organizational commitment. To achieve the objectives proposed in the present study we used a convenience sample consisting of 194 participants from the private and public medical sector. According to the results, the psychological contract fulfillment proved to mediate the relationship between the results and the characteristics of the job. Moreover, it was found that job resources (job control and support) mediate the negative effects associated with job demands on the psychological contract fulfillment. Thus, as predicted by the theoretical framework (social exchange theory), job characteristics interacted to influence satisfaction and organizational commitment by performing the contract
The Use of Aerobic Gymnastics as the Means of Realizing the Objectives of School Physical Education Specific to High School Education
Introduction. Aerobic gymnastics has a great influence on the locomotorsystem because the exercises used play an important role in shaping the shapeand structure of our body, especially on the component parts of the locomotorsystem: bones, joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons.Methods. The use of the means and methods of aerobic gymnastics in thephysical education lessons of the school will lead to the achievement ofsome goals of physical education and sport specific to education. Results. It was assumed that conducting physical education activities within the studenttraining system, with the dominant application of the aerobic means, will allow to increase the influence of the instructional-educational processon the training of the necessary motor skills and experience, as well as theformation of the movement need. Some of the results obtained are: Pushups:EG/Ti = 6,3±1,63 and EG/Tf = 8,8±1,13 while CG/Ti = 5,3±1,88 andCG/Tf = 6,3±1,63; Abd.flexion: EG/Ti = 12±1,41 and EG/Tf = 14±1,5while CG/Ti = 11±2,05 and CG/Tf = 11,6±2,01; Runing resistance: EG/Ti=4,39±0,07 and EG/Tf =3,85±0,43 while CG/Ti = 4,38±0,1 and CG/Tf =4,35±0,08. Conclusions. The hypothesis works to confirm, this allows usto affirm that it is possible for aerobic gymnastics and to contribute to theachievement of the proposed goals and to create the physical conditions forthe students by increasing significant manifestation to provide their motorand psychomotor skills
Perceived social support and Anxiety: A correlational analysis: doi>10.24250/JPE/1/2020/TSD/ED/GSV
Exposure to a varied environment (associated with a reduced capacity for predictability or tolerance to social dynamics) can lead to anxiety for some individuals. In these situations, we look for recourses to overcome the dysfunctions generated by anxiety in the sense of increasing the degree of adaptability to the social environment. Perceived social support can be one of these resources. In this light, the current investigation has the objective to identify the relationship between perceived social support (i.e. Attachment, Social Integration, Reassurance of Worth, Reliable Alliance, Guidance, and Opportunity for Nurturance) and anxiety (i.e. Social Anxiety and Performance Anxiety). The sample consisted of 71 individuals (between 19 and 52 years, with an average age of M = 35.04, SD: 9.95) from Romania. Anxiety was measured with the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale and perceived social support with the Social Provisions Scale. Results highlighted the significant negative association between perceived social support and anxiety. The results of this study can offer relevant information to stimulate the reconsideration of social support in the reduction or prevention of the development of anxiety and can support educators or counselors who work with young individuals

GIFTED CHILDREN EDUCATION IN EARLY CHILDHOOD- PRACTICAL STRATEGIES: doi>10.24250/JPE/1/2020/GK
The identification and education of gifted children at an early age remains a challenge and a priority objective of Romanian education. Undoubtedly, children have certain exceptional abilities when entering school, it is the educators` duty to identify these innate skills and to stimulate them so that they reach the performance level. The challenge of the school is to find the means and methods of early intervention to promote a differentiated education that will help the whole group to develop, but which will take into account individualities to promote learning according to the needs of the children. Stimulating the development of each child according to his/her abilities requires a flexible curriculum and differentiated and personalized teaching strategies. In our article we will outline some strategies used in educating gifted children by focusing education and instruction on the child
