COMMUNICATION COMPETENCES DEVELOPMENT IN PRESCHOOL THROUGH LANGUAGE EDUCATION ACTIVITIES: 10.24250/jpe/1/2021/HT/TBP
The competence to communicate in both the mother tongue and a foreign language is one of the key competences approved by the Council of the European Union. Communication competence sums up linguistic competence with socio-cultural, generic and encyclopedic competence, in the sense of using it in the appropriate social framework. This competence has the following components: linguistic, grammatical, socio-linguistic, pragmatic, discursive and strategic. Communication competence refers to the ability to receive and send a message in different contexts using the correct language standards and the appropriate choice of communication situation. Language education activities offer, through the multitude of means of achievement, a very wide variety of situations through which children have the opportunity to form or develop their communication skills. Modern education emphasizes interdisciplinarity and interactive methods, and this contributes to the fulfillment of the original goal, that of forming an active and creative personality capable of successfully integrating into society and meeting its requirements. Language education can be done in various forms and using various methods. At preschool level, based on the experience of the group, we consider that the most suitable are the interactive methods (brainstorming, the "Thinking Hats" method, the stellar explosion, the quintet, the Venn diagram, the "Change pair" method, RAI and many others), which can be used successfully in language education activities for the purpose of training and developing communication skills. In the present article, there are presented the theoretical frames of communication development competencies, and also some practical models in which these can be developed at preschool level
IDENTIFICATION OF FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO ABSENTEEISM IN ROMANIAN RURAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS : 10.24250/jpe/1/2021/LMT/RSV
The present article highlights the factors that favor the high absenteeism of high school students in rural areas. The first part of the article includes an analysis of the literature, and the second part presents and analyses the research carried out in April-May 2020 with the aim of identifying the causes of school absenteeism of high school students in rural areas. As far as the design of the research is concerned, this is a quantitative one that used the questionnaire as a research tool. The participants in this study were 82 students from two rural high schools in Hunedoara County. The research tool used tracked family-type factors, namely the relationship between family members, the encouragement and interest of parents towards school and alcohol consumption; on the other hand, economic factors (income and difficulties caused by lack of income) and social factors (entourage, how students tend to spend their time when not attending school) were targeted. The questionnaire was completed online through a Google Forms app, and their results highlight problems related to school absenteeism in students from violent families whose members are drinkers; the same is true among those whose parents are of little or perhaps non-existent interest in the child’s school results. Family low-income makes attending school difficult and favours the entry into the labour market for young people who want to support their family financially

In this study the evolution of the gifted and talented education wasexplored, followed by a discussion of disparity between thewestern and eastern culture in terms of perceptions of thegifted and talented, diagnosis of the gifted and talented,curriculum options, and service delivery models in these twocultures. Disparity in gifted education between rural andurban areas in China was also discussed in this paper.Recommendations about how to properly serve the gifted andtalented were provided
Development of Motor Qualities Through the Specific Means of Gymnastics
Introduction: The study entitled “Development of motor skills through specificmeans of gymnastics†refers mainly to the specific means of artisticgymnastics used by the physical education teacher for physical training anddevelopment of motor skills of high school students considering that gymnasticsdiscipline is one of the most important parts of the physical educationclass in school. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the progress made inincreasing the level of motor skills by using the means of artistic gymnasticsand to present the effectiveness of these means in physical education. Theexperiment was performed at the Vasile Goldiş National College Arad for aninterval of 6 months between January 15, 2019 and July 15, 2019. The classessubjected to the experiment were from the 5th A and 5th C classes from theabove mentioned unit, 48 female students and boys between the ages of 11and 12. The 5th A class comprises 23 students, of which 13 girls and 10 boys,and the 5th C class comprises 25 students, of which 14 girls and 11 boys. Bothclasses were subjected to the same group of tests at both the initial determinationat the beginning of the experiment and the final one. The experimentconsisted in applying a set of exercises to the experimental group, ie to classV A, different from the one applied to the control group, class V C. The researchmethods used were: bibliographic study, observation method, survey,experiment method, test method and statistical-mathematical method. Testsapplied in the expermient: 1.Shuttle; 2. Lumbar mobility; 3. The bridge; 4.Antero-posterior cord; 5. Long jump from the spot; 6. Trunk lifts from supineto sitting and back. Results The average values obtained by the experimental class in the tests were are following: - Shuttle I.T =11,96 ± 0,64 and to F.T= 11,69 ± 0,64; - Lumbar Mobility I.T = 49,3 ± 8 and to F.T = 55,43 ± 5,6;- Bridge I.T = 46 ± 10,4 and to F.T = 43 ± 11,2; - Split A-P I.T = 17,6 ± 9,4and to F.T=14,8 ± 9,5; - Jump in length from sport I.T= 163 ± 8,7 and to F.T= 169 ± 5,5; -Abdomen I.T = 21 ± 4,2 and to F.T = 22 ± 4,4. Compared tothose of the control class : - Shuttle I.T = 13,03 ± 0,85 and to F.T = 12,88 ±0,78: - Lumbar Mobility I.T = 53,28 ± 6,32 and to F.T = 54,32 ± 6,04; -BridgeI.T = 50,8 ± 8,9 and to F.T = 50,1 ± 9,3; - Split A-P I.T = 23,6 ± 8,2 and toF.T = 23 ± 9,2; -Jump in the length I.T = 158 ± 7,8 and to F.T = 159 ± 7,3;- Abdomen I.T = 23 ± 4,6 and to F.T = 23 ± 4,8. The research conducted,through which we aimed to demonstrate the effectiveness of gymnastics inthe physical education lesson in middle school classes, was confirmed, as canbe deduced from the comparative table of results obtained, set out in the researchannexes. Conclusions: Following the study, we can conclude that themeans of gymnastics, used intensively in physical education classes, alongwith traditional means, increase students’ attendance, increase their attractiveness,create a motivational framework for conscious and active participationof students, contributing largely to increase the level of development ofmotor skills in physical education lessons. Given the results obtained, werecommend physical education teachers in primary and secondary school tointroduce in their lessons as many exercises and games specific to gymnasticsboth for the harmonious physical development of students and for maintainingtheir health and mental relaxation they need during school. In this way thephysical education lessons do not seem to be boring, they become pleasant,attractive
Contributions to the Technical Training of Handball Players Specialized in the Wing Post
Aim: The level of performance achieved at the current stage, both internationallyand internally, is very high and can only be achieved by playerswhose performance capability is particularly high and steadily increasing.The field of game technology has expanded a lot. Increasing the spectacularityof this game, coupled with its spread across the continents, has hadrepercussions on the organization of handball at junior level. New methodshave emerged, which performance players perform with high craftsmanship,doubled by special physical qualities. Methodology : the experiment tookplace between September 2016- Juin 2017, in the city of Suceava, with 3players specialized on the wing position from the under 18 team SuceavaSports High School. During this period the team maintained its regular trainingprogram, the wings following our proposed program to analyze its effecton improving the tracking parameters. We estimate that using efficient meansof action and adapting them to the post of the wing player will increase theperformance of the game and individual value to handball players specializingin the wing. Results: the mean results recorded at the technical level,show good differences between initial test (IT) and final test (FT): - driblingamong the rounds: IT= 6,21±0,009 sec., and FT= 5,80±0,02 sec.; - passing intwo out of the way: IT= 5,16±0,005 sec., and FT= 4,80±0,01 sec.; - triangleshift, gate throw: IT= 12,48±0,01 and FT= 12,0±0,01, show a breakthroughin all the sustained samples and the statistical analysis demonstrates a homogeneityof the research group. Given the importance of the “wing†role in organizing and directing the field play in this paper, I presented the tasksin the post, determined by the action areas and the contribution in the attackphases. Conclusions: we can assert that the hypothesis from which I leftis confirmed and the purposes of the work have been achieved. I think thestudy has achieved its goal by showing: optimization of the training, due tothe selected means of action, the fulfillment of the tasks of the wings in thepost, resulting from the registration of the actions in the attack, as well as theefficiency in their areas of action, as revealed by the research
CAPABILITIES OF SOCIAL WORK IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE EUROPEAN QUALIFICATION FRAMEWORK (EQF): 10.24250/jpe/1/2021/MM
Starting with an description of dimensions of professional capabilities in theEuropean qualification framework (EQF) two comparisons are made: (1) Onthe basis of a international classification of objectives of study programs ofsocial workthese specific capabilities are related to the EQF. (2) The data of asurvey with practitioners of social work are used to develope an empiricalbased model to link the EQF to capabilities relevant in practice. This study aims to determine the extent to which online cultural activities can develop interest in authentic values, well-being, knowledge and creative expression of culture in the instructional-educational process. Knowing that cultural activities are a complement to curricular actions, these being actions exercised by adults on the young generation in the form of an interpersonal relationship in order to form the good skills necessary for a harmonious social life, I believe that the "rope" of cultural activities can intertwine with the obtained intellectual results, with the formation of the adult with an educational potential involved in the instructive-educational process, thus resulting the development of the psychosocial competencies of those involved, facilitating at the same time their social integration and assuming the role of belonging to the community group
SCHADENFREUDE AS A MEDIATOR IN THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMPATHY AND DIFFICULTIES IN FOLLOWING THE RULES: doi>10.24250/jpe/2/2021/DR/ED/RM/RG
Researchers have lately been interested in the scientific literatureon the dark triad and antisocial conduct in order to bettercomprehend the complexity of human aggression.Furthermore, studies revealed that breaking rules, physicalviolence, and social hostility were three aspects of antisocialbehavior, underlying the Machiavellian correlation of specificdeviant and antisocial behaviors, such as workplacedifficulties, disruptive and counterproductive job action, anddeception. To better understand the evaluation of the subfacetcynical view of human life, we look at the concept ofschadenfreude, which is defined as one person's enjoymentfrom another's suffering.The convenience sample approachwas used in our study, which targeted a group of 390 adultRomanians.For measuring schadenfreude, and difficulties infollowing the rules, this research has used a single itemresearch question, and for measuring empathy, we have usedthe 6 items empathy scale (IPIP), in an online survey sharedon social media platforms. Our research investigated ifSchadenfreude mediates the relationship between empathyand difficulties in following the rules (Process Model 4 V3.5).Results confirm our hypothesis, showing that there is asignificant relationship between empathy and difficulties in
following the rules, but when adding schadenfreude into theequation, former relationship becomes statisticallyinsignificant, and all the effect flows through the mediator,schadenfreude. Thus, the more individuals score onschadenfreude, the more difficulties show in following therules. Conclusions and implications are discussed
HIGH RESOLUTION MASS SPECTROMETRY WITH CHIP-BASED IONIZATION FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF NONCOVALENT INTERACTIONS OF PROTEINS WITH NORMAL BRAIN AND BRAIN TUMOR GANGLIOSIDES
The noncovalent interactions between the amyloid beta (Aβ) and α-synuclein (Syn) proteins with native gangliosides extracted and purified from human brain and human glioma were studied using an analytical platform encompassing fully automated chip-nanoelectrospray (nanoESI) on a NanoMate robot coupled to a quadrupole time-of-flight (QTOF) mass spectrometer (MS). The novel interaction assays developed here for this purpose involved several stages: i) the incubation at 37°C under constant steering of the protein and gangliosides in 10 mM ammonium acetate buffer, pH 6.0, up to a concentration of 1 pmol μL-1 and 10 pmol μL-1, respectively; ii)collection of aliquots directly into the 96-well plate of the robot after 1, 5, 10, 15, 30, 60 and 180 min of incubation and iii) immediate submission of the reaction products to MS screening and structural analysis. Chip-nanoESI QTOF MS and CID MS/MS revealed the formation of the Aβ-GT1(d18:1/18:0) and Aβ-GT1 (t18:1/18:0) complexes as well as the preferential biding of Syn to GD1, GT1, GQ1 and GO1 species. CID MS/MS top-down fragmentation analysis demonstrated that the Aβ protein binds to a GT1b isomer type structure, characterized by Neu5Ac linkage to the external galactose and a disialo element Neu5Ac-Neu5Ac bound to the inner galactose of the molecule. Thus, by chip-MS and tandem MS experiments it was possible to deduce the structure of this non-covalent complex as: Aβ-GT1b(d18:1/18:0). Similar results were obtained also for the Aβ complex formed with the gangliosides having trihydroxylated ceramide as well as the complexes of Syn with G1 class of gangliosides
