PECTIN QUANTIFICATION FROM CELLULOSIC/LIGNOCELLULOSIC RAW MATERIALS BY FT-IR ATR ANALYSIS
This paper presents an accurate quantification by FT-IR ATR analyses of pectin content from cotton and flax raw woven fabrics. For this purpose, the investigated samples were exposed to HCl vapours. The relative absorbanceof pectin-specific bands was evaluated. The results showed an increase in the band intensity values located at ~ 1735 cm1 and a decrease of the one from ~ 1645 cm-1 after the exposure of the samples to HCl vapours due to the transformationof the (COO-) linked with Ca2+ groups into acidic carboxylic groups
Strategies Used in the Stage of Learning to Swim
Introduction: The reasons that determined me to approach the topic of thispaper is the importance of the correct mastery of swimming from an earlyage, the formation of the mentality of practicing sports in general and swimmingin particular and the maintenance of optimal fitness. Purpose: Thepresent study aims at theoretical and experimental research on the very importantrole of swimming means used in the initiation stage in children aged5-7 years. Thus, we tried to achieve a systematization of the most effectivemeans of learning to swim, Increasing the efficiency of the preparation ofthe educational instructional process requires the establishment of precisefinalities, of a well-objectified and optimized action system as well as thechoice of the most efficient methods and means of action. Methodology: Theestablishment of training models as well as the judicious use of the most efficientmethods and means specific and non-specific to swimming must leadto the following tasks: - appropriate mastery of the basic technical elementsof swimming (floating, sliding, breathing) as well as the craul swimmingprocess, - increasing the minimum motor qualities, - demonstration of thevalidity of the methods used and the applicability of some tests in order tofollow the qualitative development of the motor qualities. Results. I considerthat the focus on the technical component of sports training, especially at thisage, when the psycho-physiological peculiarities of the subjects allow motoracquisitions, high receptivity, plasticity of the nervous system. the basic technicalelements of swimming and the craul swimming process over a distanceof 25m. Following the evolution of the arithmetic mean, we can interpret it asfollows: the arithmetic mean of the sample included in the research has 3.93 points in the initial test, increasing it to 5.07 points in the intermediate test. There is a progress of 1.14 points. At the final test the average of the sampleis 6.91 points, so we can see an improvement in performance by 2.88 pointsfrom the initial test. Following the evolution of amplitude (W), the simpleststatistical indicator, we can see that if at the beginning of the experiment, thedifference between the subjects’ scores was 2.70 points, it is reduced to2.30 points in the intermediate test, that in the end it reaches 2.11 points.Conclusion. These results show that the value differences between the subjectsfade, the subjects mastering the basic elements in swimming and thecraul swimming process. Following the evolution of the standard deviation,we observe the same homogenization of the results in the investigated sample.Analyzing the evolution of the variability coefficient, we observe in thiscase the tendency to homogenize the value of the subjects from the point ofview of recorded performances
Comparative Study on Multi-Joint and Single-Joint Exercises in Bodybuilding Economics
Introduction. A relevant aspect of bodybuilding is that each person wantsto improve muscle mass, or remove adipose tissue and build muscle, but thiscan only be done through a specific training program. The purpose of thiscurrent research is to make a comparative study between MJ and SJ exercises, and to see if through specific training routines, the subjects can achievethe proposed objectives, muscular hypertrophy or weight loss. Methods. Thestudy was carried out on a number of 30 subjects divided in two groups withspecific trainings methods. To obtain specific results, we will develop 2 trainingroutines, one routine for hypertrophy based on multi-joint exercises, andone for weight loss based on single-joint exercises. These training structureswill be consistent with the specific objectives, in terms of load used, numberof repetitions and rest break. Results. Following the experiment, we recordeda series of significant results, regarding the HMM group, respectively the DMgroup. The most representative increases were recorded in the chest musclefrom HMM group, with an increase of 5.86%. The smallest increase was onthe chest on DM group, -2.57%, and in the thighs the highest of -4.15%. Conclusions. The hypothesis works to confirm, this allows us to affirm that it ispossible as through a predetermined program with multi-joint exercises, anda program with single-joint exercises combined with cardio routines, subjectsaccumulate muscle mass, or lose weight by reducing the perimeters of bodysegments, to reach the desired physical shape
THE INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCE: AREAS OF INTEREST, DEVELOPMENT, AND RESEARCH PERSPECTIVES: 10.24250/jpe/1/2021/SM/CB/MB
In an ever changing and evolving world, where we witness a socio-economic revolution and where the geographical borders are no longer an obstacle for human interactions, the need for demonstrating new and particular abilities for interacting with culturaly diverse individuals is more and more obvious. Therefore, intercultural competence (IC) was studied from different perspectives, there are also attempts of finding a general accepted definition of it and there are several procedures for evaluating and measuring it. Although measuring IC is becoming a more precise process as the years pass, the biggest problem in assessing its levels seems to be the dependence on the autoevaluation that it emplies. By reviewing specialty literature on IC and its components, this article aims to point out future research directions on this topic. To do so, we have put together the most important elements highlighted by previous research, like: environmental influences, components, the domains where it’s most needed, the obstacles needed to be overcomed for developing it, along with proposals and results obtained by applying different programs that aim to develop IC
MODELS OF INTERVENTION IN THE RECOVERY OF CHILDREN WITH MENTAL RETARDATION AND AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS. ALTERNATIVE THERAPIES: 10.24250/jpe/1/2021/IC
Learning activities, targeted therapy is the main sear, support and guidance to develop compensation. Develop compensatory mechanisms in children with mental retardation can be supported effectively when learning activities is based on a methodological approach adapted to the particularities of development in children concerned. When we talk about specific ratio of psychic development and learning disabled, use the following phrases: developmental disorders, developmental delays, impaired învăţareraportul specific of psychic development and learning disabled, use the following phrases: developmental disorders, delays development, learning disorders. Structuring a behavior as close to normal as possible to encompass the three fields of activity - cognitive, language, socialization. Language skills will be obtained more easily in a conversational interaction, in a certain context. The child will be taught to plan time periods for structured social interactions. The active role of parents and teachers is essential. Language learning does not follow competence but social utility. For those who do not speak, the emphasis is on understanding, not on the ability to express. Sometimes sign communication prepares the ground for later verbal communication. The content of the article is a finding of the exploratory study: "Analysis of teachers' perceptions of curricular policies and strategies in pre-primary and primary special education" was conducted between December 2017 and March 2018, comprising a lot of 57 respondents, teachers involved in the process of education in the classroom of children diagnosed with ASD and mental retardation. Finally, the qualitative results obtained from the application of the questionnaire are presented and some recommendations are proposed
INTRODUCTION TO THE PEDAGOGY OF HAPPINESS: 10.24250/jpe/1/2021/ADP
The voice of children, the voice of teachers, the voice of parents can be primary sources for analyzing the existing models of happiness in school, as well as directions to investigate in order to build positive interventions in the educational environment since primary school. Happiness courses can be successfully taught in primary school, in the form of a happiness hour, but the design of classes in all disciplines can integrate the principles of happiness. In this way, the quality of school life increases: a deep, meaningful learning, simultaneously supported by the dimensions of happiness, as well as self-awareness, understanding the notions of "happy brain", "happy body", "happy teacher", "happiness teacher", "happiness at school". The benefits of happiness in the school environment attest to the impact of a pedagogy of happiness from an early age
STUDY ON THE DIDACTIC METHODOLOGY EMPLOYED IN ONLINE INSTRUCTIVE-EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES: 10.24250/jpe/1/2021/LCT
Among the directions of action and study in which the current didactic tendenciesare concretized at the level of educational practice, we emphasize: theintensification and streamlining of the learning process; promotingcollaborative, cooperative relationships between teacher and student that wouldfacilitate the student’s individual work and the capitalization of their individualskills; identifying strategies and forms of organization of the didactic activitythat involve the students in a responsible manner, while being at the same timeoperative and productive; ensuring a permanent feedback in the informationcircuit between teacher and student. The problem under study is to what extentthese directions for the restructuring of the educational reality, and especiallythe teaching strategies, which emerged and developed in response to thechallenges of the contemporary world and are reflected in the principles of thenew educational paradigm, are found in the educational practices specific toinstructive-educational activities conducted online. Through the application ofa questionnaire to a group of first- and second-year students, we aimed toidentify their perception of the teaching methodology used in conducting onlineinstructive-educational activities. The purpose of the investigation was toidentify the extent to which the active and interactive teaching methods that arevalued by current educational paradigms are used in conducting online teachingactivities

BEING A PARENT OR O PROFESSIONAL? THE FOSTER CARERS DESCRIBING THE CHILD'S CARE EXPERIENCE: doi>10.24250/jpe/2/2021/AC
Maternal assistance is a form of special protection of the childseparated from the parents; A rich literature, evident fromeveryday life indicates a higher quality level of child care inthis format than other forms of care. Insufficient number offoster carers invites reflection; Too few studies investigate theperception of foster carers about their work, the difficultiesthey face or the needs they have during such a complexprocess of caring for a child (Wilson, Sinclair, Gibbs, 2000).We conducted 5 focus groups with 30 participants, nursesaged between 29 and 58 years. We aimed to identify the waythey perceive and describe their experience / profession, whatare their grievances and what are the skills they must have inorder to be considered a good parent. The findings suggestthe existence of attitudes confirmed in other previousspecialized works, namely, dysfunctions of the protectionsystem, lack of support from social assistance structures, failure to focus on the best interests of the child in makingdecisions, etc. Dissatisfaction was reported regarding thestatus of the foster parent profession. It is recommended to beincluded in the DGASPC strategy, to increase the visibility ofthe foster care profession as an objective, to inform andsensitize the population about the specifics and complexity ofthis profession. We suggest ensuring the provision of supportservices, consultancy and counselling to maternal assistantsand improving their dialogue with the staff of the socialprotection departments
