ROBOTICS EDUCATION IN ECE: TEACHERS’ OPINION AND WAYS OF INTEGRATION : 10.24250/jpe/SI/2023/NS/
Educational robotics in Early Childhood Education is proven to empower children to understand the basic functions of technology and become digitally literate. The article investigates the current opinion of teachers about educational robotics at preschool level. The study takes them through several stages of questioning: from what they understand robotics to be at preschool level, if they consider the integration of robotics elements useful, how easy they find the integration of these elements and how quickly they can integrate practical robotics elements into games didactic. With a well-done PhD process Educational Robotics can have maximum effectiveness throughout its life. The natural curiosity and way of thinking of the new generation are advantages that must be exploited. Numerous studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of robotic education in the early education of children, although all we have to do is guide the specialists to integrate it into the teaching-learning process.
The results of the quantitative analysis carried out with the help of teaching staff are presented by category and the significant differences that resulted are highlighted as well as recommendations for the integration of robotics elements in ECE activities
STEPS TOWARDS CHANGE DESIGNING PERSONALIZED MESSAGES BASED ON THE TRANSTHEORETICAL MODEL : 10.24250/jpe/2/2023/SV/
The Prochaska and DiClemente model, also known as the Transtheoretical Model (TTM), provides a comprehensive framework for understanding and facilitating behavior change. In this article, we explore the stages of change in the TTM and examine how they can be effectively applied to achieve lasting transformations. By analyzing the principles and strategies associated with each stage, individuals and professionals can gain insights into the process of change and develop tailored interventions that promote real, sustainable changes in various domains of life. In this article, we offer examples of how to communicate to individuals in each stage, depending on the area that change is expected in (e.g. climate change, addictions, positive new behaviors) and thus lay the frame
General physical training at Judoka from rural areasIntroduction.
Introduction. Physical training plays a decisive role in forming a solid base for high performance in judo. In the first year of preparation of the Judokans, there is a special emphasis on the development of the basic motor qualities: strength, speed, resistance, skill and mobility. The physical training of the judokan is a continuous process, a relatively long period of achievement at a high level is required. With children aged 6-10 years, no emphasis will be placed on strength and resistance, the activity being oriented on the development of speed and skill. The planning of the process of improving the motor qualities for a long period is imposed by the uneven development of the motor qualities of the Judokans. Also, age particularities must be taken into account. For the development of motor qualities, general and specific exercises are used. General physical exercises are selected from complementary sports, being adapted to the specific judo.The purpose of the preliminary research is to identify the suspicious appeals of optimization and operationalization in the national programs of the FRJ "Judo in schools" and "Judo in villages" in order to develop an efficient implementation strategy and to evaluate their effects or a mix- Judo in schools in rural areas.Hypothesis. In this paper I started from the premise that the implementation of training and training programs of children between the ages of 6-10 must take into account the level of general physical training. This will lead to the crystallization of a national judo strategy in rural areas from a technical and tactical point of view.Working methodology. In order to carry out the investigation I developed a questionnaire with 10 items that I distributed to the 14 specialists involved in the national program "Judo La Sate", considering that they best know the aspects that a program to promote the judo in schools from the rural area.
Results. From the analysis of the answers to those questioned, we have detached the fact that at the level of the local communities there is openness and support for the successful organization and implementation of the "Judo La Village" program. The support comes from the parents but also from the schools, and the coaches are supported by the local councils.Conclusions. The final conclusion is that the training program applied by us was effective, beneficial for creating the premises of the future performances of the little judoka in the village (rural) environment

Academic learning illustrates the complex process by which students develop or acquire, as appropriate, knowledge, abilities, competences, skills in order to succeed in an academic environment and, of course, to develop and continuously improve themselves. In this research, several elements related to academic learning have been investigated. The method of investigating the matter of academic learning is the inquiry conducted using the questionnaire as a tool. The sample of subjects consists of one hundred and fifty students from the University “1 Decembrie 1918” of Alba Iulia, year I, II and III of study, from the field of Pedagogy of Primary and Pre-School Education. Among the indicators presented in the questionnaire we can mention a few: the time allocated for study, organizing the learning material, the efficiency of learning, passing exams, the learning style, the success in learning, the failure in learning, etc. The conclusions are drawn based on statistical analysis and confirm the presence of unique elements about academic learning
EXTRACURRICULAR APPROACHES TO INFLUENCE THE WELL-BEING OF PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN: 10.24250/jpe/SI/2023/DRC/AFR/
This article examines the influence of extracurricular activities on the well-being of primary school children, using the Well-Being Index (WBI) to measure levels of well-being before and after participating in these activities. The results suggest that engaging in extracurricular activities can have a significantly positive impact on children's overall well-being, helping to increase their sense of connection, competence and autonomy
THE IMPACT OF THE TRAINING METHOD ON STUDENT SATISFACTION: THEORY VERSUS PRACTICE - ONE OF THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL ISSUES IN HIGHER EDUCATION: 10.24250/jpe/SI/2023/IR/
In my study, after a general introduction to the training method, I discuss its important role in higher education and link it to the learning pyramid theory. I will describe the so-called T-subjects integrated in the curriculum of our university (Hungarian Agricultural and Life Sciences University, MATE), which are implemented in the economics majors (bachelor, master and doctoral), and which are present in both our Hungarian and English language economics courses. In the empirical part, I summarise the opinions expressed in the textual reflections of a selected group of students from the Leadership Skills Training in five different classes of international students. The feedback clearly demonstrates that master’s students need both the latest and most up-to-date theories and the skills acquired through experiential learning

ESTIMATING METHANE EMISSIONS FROM DIFFERENT LAND-USE TYPES IN THE URBAN AREA
In the recent decades, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions increased considerably; due to the remarkablegrowth in anthropogenic activities. These gasses have potential warming effects on the atmosphere as long as theyaccumulate in the atmosphere.Methane (CH4) as a GHG has very high radiative forces, with a short lifetime of approximately 10 years.Therefore, targeting CH4 emissions would bring immediate climate benefits in the short-term. Land-use changing policiesin the urban area decrease CH4 sinks and affect the urban contribution in CH4 budget. However, the uncertainty of CH4emissions in the urban area is very high, so that estimating CH4 concentration is important to take appropriate mitigationmeasures.In our study, we estimated street-level CH4 concentrations in the following four urban areas: the city center (CC),the central park (CP), a residential area (RA), and a commercial area (CA). An Enhanced Portable Fluxmeter devicewith a precise measurement of 0.1 parts per million (ppm) was used to perform these CH4 estimations between 10:00and 12:00 am (EEST), from 20-30 March.The results showed that the CC and CA have an elevated contribution in CH4 concentration with more than 2.3ppm. The RA recorded the least as hypothesize. Surprisingly, the CP which was supposed to have the least contributionin CH4 concentration from the anthropogenic perspective, was estimated to have ascending records. These findingsdemonstrate the remarkable contribution of the urban area in influencing CH4 concentration, and recommend furtherCH4 investigation in the urban area and to identify its potential sources
MATHEMATICS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: IMPROVING STUDENTS’ LEARNING THROUGH RICH MATHEMATICAL TASKS STRATEGY: 10.24250/jpe/SI/2023/AOS/
Mathematics is needed to achieve sustainable development goal 4, which targets inclusive, equitable education cum lifelong learning. Nonetheless, the students’ achievement in senior secondary mathematics is below average. Thus, this study examined the effects of the Rich Task strategy and numerical ability on senior secondary mathematics achievement. The sample comprised 203 pupils from two public senior secondary schools in Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area, Ogun State, selected on purpose. Three data collection instruments are the Mathematics Achievement Test (r = 0.84), the Numerical Ability Test (r = 0.79), and the Treatment Instructional Package. The data collected were analysed with descriptive and inferential statistics at 0.05 significance. The study discovered that the treatment significantly influenced students’ academic achievement, with the Rich Task instructional strategy found to be more effective than the conventional method. The findings also showed that numerical ability significantly impacted academic achievement, with high-ability students outperforming low and medium-ability students. However, there was no significant interaction effect between instructional strategies and numerical ability on students’ academic achievement. The study recommended that teachers employ Rich Task Strategy to meet their students’ different learning requirements and skills, and the implications for achieving sustainable development Goal 4 were identified
OUTDOOR EDUCATION AS AN INTERFACE BETWEEN TRADITIONAL AND MODERN LEARNING APPROACHES: A CURRICULUM-BASED ANALYSIS AT CORE CURRICULUM STAGE IN ROMANIA: 10.24250/jpe/2/2023/HT/EMC/
This study delves into the pivotal role of outdoor learning in acting as a connecting thread between conventional and contemporary teaching methods within the realm of core curriculum education. As educational methodologies continually evolve, educators are keen to adopt innovative approaches that effectively engage and educate students. Traditional teaching methods, while enduring, coexist with modern pedagogical practices that emphasize experiential learning, active participation, and holistic development. The research explores how outdoor learning functions as an intermediary, facilitating a seamless fusion of traditional and modern educational practices. Its primary focus is to investigate the influence of outdoor learning on student motivation, critical thinking, and overall educational achievements, particularly within the core curriculum stage. By employing a combination of quantitative and qualitative analyses, this study seeks to highlight the advantages and obstacles associated with the incorporation of outdoor learning in core curriculum subjects. It aims to pinpoint effective methods for embedding outdoor experiences into conventional classroom settings, thereby contributing to a more comprehensive comprehension of how outdoor learning can enrich the educational experience. The insights garnered from this research endeavor have the potential to provide valuable guidance to educators, curriculum designers, and policymakers in striking a harmonious balance between time-honored teaching techniques and innovative strategies. This equilibrium aims to create a well-rounded, enhanced learning environment for students at the core curriculum level.
