LEVERAGING PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP (PPP) APPROACH FOR TECHNOLOGY-DRIVEN TEACHING AND LEARNING OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN SOUTHEAST NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES : 10.24250/jpe/2/2023/PMVS/UAN/
The study examined leveraging Public Private Partnership (PPP) approach for technology-driven teaching and learning of entrepreneurship in Southeast Nigerian Universities. Two research questions were answered while two hypotheses were tested. Multistage sampling technique was used to select 203 respondents for the study. The instrument for data collection for the study was a structured questionnaire and face-validated by three experts. To obtain the reliability of the instrument, Cronbach Alpha reliability technique was used which yielded a reliability coefficient of 0.934, indicating that the instrument was about 93% reliable for data collection for the study. Out of the 203 copies of the questionnaire administered, 194 copies were completely responded to, returned and considered suitable for the study. Data were analysed using mean and t-test statistics. From the data analysed, the results identified 12 Public Private Partnership (PPP) approaches for technology-driven teaching and learning of entrepreneurship studies and 15 potentials of wellcoordinated Public Private Partnership (PPP) for technology-driven teaching entrepreneurship studies in and learning southeast of Nigerian Universities. The results on the hypotheses tested showed that no significant (p<0.05) difference existed in the mean ratings of the responses of Entrepreneurship Studies Lecturers and Administrators. Based on these findings, the study recommended improved collaborations of public institutions with private investors for adequate funding and management of entrepreneurship programmes to actualize technology-driven instruction for quality education in Nigeria. 
SCIENCE TEACHERS’ AWARENESS AND UTILIZATION OF INNOVATIVE FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT TECHNIQUES FOR ASSESSING STUDENTS IN SCIENCE CLASSROOMS IN ANAMBRA STATE: 10.24250/jpe/Vol.32/1/2023/ISN/SOE/ANN/OFA
The growing need to survive in a 21st century global competitive society has presented the need to restructure the teaching and learning process to not just employ innovative instructional approaches that can promote learning but also formative assessment techniques that can help improve classroom instruction for effective delivery. In this light, the study sought to investigate science teachers’ awareness and utilization of innovative formative assessment techniques (IFAT) for assessing students in science classrooms in Anambra state. Two research questions guided the study. A descriptive survey research design was adopted. 150 science subject teachers, drawn using simple random sampling technique, comprised the sample of the study. An instrument titled “Checklist on Science Teachers’ Awareness and Utilization of Innovative Formative Assessment Techniques (CSTLAUIFAT)” developed by the researchers for the teachers was used for data collection. The 50-item checklist was subjected to face and content validity by three experts and with a reliability coefficient of 0.82 established using Cronbach Alpha. Frequency count, percentages, weighted Mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions. The findings of the study revealed that although science teachers are aware of some of these innovative formative assessment techniques, they however do not utilize most of them in the teaching and learning process. Based on the findings, it was then recommended among others that education stakeholders should organize workshops, seminars, symposia, and conferences to educate teachers on these innovative assessment techniques and how to implement them in the classroom

Children’s play is first and foremost a matter of human rights. As declared in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC, 1989), all children and young people have the right to play and have an intrinsic need to play. Play provides opportunities for children and young people to be free to choose what they do, and to challenge themselves, take risks and enjoy freedoms. (Playboard Northern Ireland, Young researchers’ team, 2013). General Comment 17 of the UNCRC states that children need to play in order to grow, learn and that play is a way of taking part in everyday life. Play also provides opportunities to promote gender equality and is essential for children’s health and well-being. The importance of play in early childhood education (ECE) will be analyzed with a specific emphasis on the sociological dimension and as a right granted to children by the UNCRC
THE REALITY OF PRACTICAL TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR TEACHERS IN LIGHT OF TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT AND CONTINUOUS MODERN INNOVATIONS: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES : 10.24250/jpe/SI/2023/MBH/
To meet labor market demands, teachers must stay updated with technological advancements as technology has become a crucial part of life. To remain relevant, they must engage in specialized training programs. The success of these programs relies on trainees’ basic technological skills. To attain effective educational results, educators must recognize the influence of technological advancements and innovations on the relationship between instructors and students. This study investigated the most successful design techniques for practical teacher training programs in the age of the technological revolution. It recognizes the problems and opportunities associated with adopting new technological developments in educational operations. By analyzing the current state of training programs for teachers, this study seeks to identify the obstacles faced in acquiring modern technological skills and the subsequent benefits to educational systems. In addition, practical recommendations were provided to address these challenges. Furthermore, this study will investigate the main components that should be included in the content of training programs, considering the technical skills expected by both teachers and learners. Drawing from previous studies on teacher training in modern technology, this study hopes to offer unique insights and recommendations for future programs. The opportunities offered by technological developments to enhance the quality and effectiveness of practical training programs have been explored, including online and blended learning, virtual simulation, augmented reality, data-driven assessment, collaboration and communication tools, personalized learning experiences, access to open educational resources, and mobile learning. The integration of these components into practical training programs equips teachers with the skills necessary to effectively integrate technology into their teaching practices, ultimately improving the quality of their education and learning outcomes
INVESTIGATING THE INFLUENCE OF COVID-19 ETHICS ON STUDENTS’ INTEREST IN LEARNING CHEMISTRY: 10.24250/jpe/SI/2023/JNN/SCN/
This study discusses the influence of COVID-19 ethics on students’ interest in learning chemistry. Five research questions and one null hypothesis guided the study. A descriptive survey research design was used to carry out this study. The population for this study consists of 2,644 chemistry Students in the 19 public secondary schools in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra state. A sample size of 80 chemistry students was used for the study. The simple random sampling method was used to select eight (8) public secondary schools in Awka South Local Government Area. Therefore, 10 chemistry students were selected from each of the eight secondary schools. Twenty (20) item structured questionnaires on a four-point rating scale developed by the researchers were used for data collection. The instrument was validated by two experts. To determine the internal consistency of the instrument, the Cronbach alpha formula was used and a reliability coefficient of 0.87 was obtained. After the administration of the instrument to the respondents, the data obtained were analyzed using mean and standard deviation to answer the research question and z-test to test the null hypothesis at the significance level of 0.05. The findings of the study revealed that social distancing, use of face masks, regular washing of hands, use of hand sanitizers and restriction of movement are common COVID-19 ethics. Also, COVID-19 negatively affected students’ chemistry learning and influences students’ interest to a high extent. It was shown that COVID-19 ethics influenced more of male students’ interest than their female counterparts as there was a significant difference between the male and female chemistry students on COVID-19 ethics on student interest in favour of the males. Thus, providing enough lesson time and provision of ICT and e-learning facilities are possible ways to improve students’ interest in learning chemistry during the COVID-19 era
CHEMICAL AND ANTIOXIDANT CAPACITY EVALUATION OF CENTAUREA JACEA EXTRACTS FROM PLANTS HARVESTED IN ARAD COUNTY, ROMANIA
The phytochemical composition and biological activity of the plant extracts obtained in different solvents(water, 70% ethanol, methanol, and diethyl ether) of the brown knapweed (Centaurea jacea L.) harvested in Romaniawere obtained. The chemical composition of the extracts was determined by gas chromatography–mass spectrometryanalysis, by total phenolic and flavonoid content. The antioxidative potential was determined using ferric-reducingantioxidant power (FRAP) and 2,2-dyphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) scavenging methods. The methanolic extractsrevealed the highest antioxidant activity by FRAP and DPPH assays. This study revealed, once again, the importance ofthe geographic and climate region of harvesting the plants used for biomedical applications
Reliability and validity of a translated MUSIC inventory in a small sample: 10.24250/jpe/Vol.32/1/2023/CI
The present study sought to investigate the MUSIC inventory reliability and structure validity. Previous research developed on various samples indicated that the instrument proved to be an instrument with good or excellent Cronbach’s Alpha values for each scale and despite some higher correlation between these scales, its structure validity was considered acceptable.
Considering these good results, the MUSIC inventory, due to its length (only 26 items) and simple way to get answers can be a useful instrument in any quantitative research preoccupied to determine motivational aspects in an academic setting. Because of these previous findings, MUSIC inventory was considered an instrument that could be translated and tested on a Romanian sample. The hypothesis was that the students' perceptions measured using MUSIC inventory would prove the reliability and construct validity of the translated version. The sample of this study consisted of a voluntary group of 28 students who studied the Psychology of education in the first year of the psycho-pedagogical module, from several specializations. The study had a cross-sectional design. The search of results for this study was accomplished through various types of statistical analyses: reliability analysis (Cronbach’s Alpha), factor analysis and correlation analysis. Interpretation of results from this study suggested that the hypothesis of the study was only partially confirmed, reliability was proved by Cronbach Alpha coefficients are excellent (above 0.9 ) for Usefulness and Interest scales and good (between 0.7-0.9) for the remaining three scales, but, on the other hand, construct validity of the inventory was not confirmed by the results obtained in the present study

Students are motivated by the desire to satisfy their personal needs to achieve certain individual goals and aspirations. Motivation can vary according to interactions between internal factors (such as individual needs, interests, and values) and external factors. The most difficult practical problem is to understand the nature and quality of motivation in the classroom. Metaphors can help students understand and integrate information in an easier and more meaningful way. A substantial part of Social Psychology stems from the belief that social behaviors are based on people's perception of reality. Learning styles derive from four bipolar dimensions' (David, 2015, p. 204): extravert-introvert, which refers to the capacity to assimilate and analyze information through social interaction. Adolescence is marked by fluctuating levels of self-esteem and the adoption of different attitudes and styles until it stabilizes in youth and adulthood. Willpower comes into play at this stage, representing the subjective and most crucial aspect of self-regulation. TEACHERS TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE CRED PROJECT: 10.24250/jpe/SI/2023/EMUE/
The "CRED- Relevant Curriculum, open education for all" project was developed to respond to some needs, including: to knowledge and use of the values of the new National Curriculum; to develop of relevant documents for educational policy (methodological guides for the various disciplines and Educational Resources Open (RED); to support the classroom application of the new school programs; to carry out thematic research to support the implementation process of the curriculum based on key competences, with a focus on students from disadvantaged categories; to train of 55,000 primary and secondary education teachers for a methodological approach centered on key skills and adapting learning activities to the specific needs of each student, including those at risk of dropping out, facilitating student-centered teaching-learning, the integrated approach (in the sense of making connections with real life), using alternative methods of formative assessment; to review the curriculum at the school's decision, capitalizing on the needs, resources and local cultural, social, economic context; to review the curriculum documents aimed at the "Second Chance" Program. EXPLORING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE GENERATION Z CONSUMERS’ DESIRE TO LEARN AND OPENNESS TO TECHNOLOGY: 10.24250/jpe/SI/2023/GP/DCB/FP/CMS/
This study explores the relationship between the desire to learn and openness to technology among Generation Z consumers. As a digitally native generation, Generation Z has grown up in an era of rapid technological advancement. This has influenced their attitudes and behaviors towards learning and technology adoption. The aim of this research is to investigate whether there is a correlation between the desire to learn and openness to technology among Generation Z consumers. The research employed a quantitative survey method to collect data from a diverse sample of Generation Z consumers. The survey included measures of desire to learn, openness to technology, and demographic information. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation and regression analysis to explore potential associations between motivation and openness to technology. The results show that Engagement and Desire to Learn are significant predictors for perceived usefulness. Related to the predictors of attitude and intentions to use, results showed that Engagement (R² = 0.19, p < 0.05) and Eagerness to Learn (R² = -0.20, p < 0.05) were predictors for attitude toward mobile apps. On the other side, engagement (R² = 0.17, p < 0.01), fearlessness (R² = -0.21, p < 0.01), and Eagerness to Learn (R² = -0.14, p < 0.05) were significant predictors for the intention to use mobile apps in the future. These findings have important implications for marketers, educators, and policymakers. Understanding the relationship between the desire to learn and openness to technology can help organizations develop targeted strategies to engage Generation Z consumers effectively
