    In education, adapting teaching methods to students' learningstyles is a fundamental concern for improving academicperformance. This study investigates the importance ofidentifying and adjusting teaching practices to students’ learningstyles to optimize academic outcomes. The data collected, boththrough online teacher questionnaires and literature review,highlight that adapting to individual student preferences cansignificantly improve academic performance. Teachersrecognize that tailoring teaching methods to prevailing learningstyles contributes to student success, emphasizing the need tounderstand the diversity of learning styles in the educationalprocess.     This study investigated the impact of staff motivation onacademic performance of secondary school students in OsunState. Two research questions and two research hypotheses weregenerated for the study. Sample of twenty (20) principals and twohundred (200) secondary school teachers was the respondentsused. Structured questionnaire which has two (2) sections wasduly validated and reliability value was 0.75. Same datacollected through the research Instruments were analysed usingfrequency counts, descriptive statistics and T-test statisticss. Itwas revealed that, there is influence of staff motivation onacademic performance of secondary school students in Osunstate: Teachers’ rated all the motivational strategies used by theprincipals as good, they rated all the indices of staffperformance as good, there was a significant difference in themotivational strategies used by the principals in secondaryschools based on school types, there was a significant differencein the indices that aid staff performance in secondary schoolsbased on school types. Major recommendations wereenumerated as: Principal should recognize work done well byteachers to boost their ego to enhance their work performance;teachers should be highly praised and commended for maximumperformance; ministry of education should make it a policy toprovide all public secondary schools in the study area withnecessary facilities to facilitate effective teaching and learningin schools; research should also be done on the head teachers'motivation of students, non-teaching and subordinate staff

    Computer-Aided Design (CAD) is an essential technology inthe teaching and training of students in technical and artisticdisciplines, including food engineering, tourism, andenvironmental protection. This literature review examines theinfluence of CAD utilization in student preparation, emphasizingits advantages, including the enhancement of design skills,creativity, and analytical abilities, which are vital for cultivatingproficient and versatile experts. Research indicates that CADutilization enables the simulation of technical processes, thedesign of tourism infrastructure, and the modeling of ecosystems,hence enhancing practical learning and the appliedcomprehension of academic concepts. Nonetheless, theintegration of CAD in education presents problems, such as thesubstantial expense of software and the necessity for specializedtraining for educators. The report suggests strategies forenhancing CAD utilization in educational settings, highlightingthe significance of accessibility and industry partnerships tomitigate cost barriers and secure essential resources for effectivestudent training

    The presence/absence of coliform bacteria in food is a hygienic-sanitary indicator that provides valuable information about the hygienic conditions in which the food was processed. The determination of coliform bacteria in food using the classical method (multiple-tube method) is a laborious work, and the results take a long time. In recent years, modern techniques for the determination of coliform bacteria have emerged, which include enzyme tests, ELISA techniques, PCR techniques, and spectrophotometric techniques, with much faster results.In this paper, the use of ion mobility spectrometry for the determination of o-nitrophenol (ONP), a volatile marker generated by the E. coli species, is briefly described, discussing both the strengths and weaknesses of this method

    There will likely be a rise in fall rates as the population ages. This will impact our society and put more strain on healthcare systems by increasing the number of unintentional injuries and injury-related deaths. According to Zijlstra et al. (2007), falls have a significant psychological impact on individuals, frequently leading to diminished confidence, decreased functional activity, deconditioning, and an elevated risk of falls. Estimated costs of fall-related damage to older adults owing to demographic changes in Australia (2003) predict that by 2051, fall-related injuries, which currently account for 5% of the country's overall health budget, would triple and cost the Australian health system about $1,375 million annually. Exercise and other modifications in lifestyle can potentially reduce the risk of many physical falls (Gregg et al., 2000; Sherrington et al., 2011). The current recommendations for physical exercise among older persons, which include elements of aerobic, resistance, and balance training, are not met by many of them. According to Chodzko-Zajko et al. (2009), the American College of Sports Medicine (ASCM) advises older persons to engage in aerobic, muscle-strengthening, and flexibility exercises. People who have mobility issues or are at risk of falling should also engage in certain activities designed to enhance their balance.     Sports participation is declining in most countries starting at age 12, with the tendency becoming considerably more noticeable as people get older. The most industrialized nations experience a demographic shift that leads to an older population due to declining birth rates and improvements in healthcare. The objective of this literature review is to analyse the existing data to discover the rates, current trends of sports participation, health problems and ways of preventing and improving it through exercise therapies of a recreational nature in the 55-65 age group in Albania and the world. 54 articles from Google Scholar, 16 articles from Crossref, 22 articles from PubMed, 14 papers from Research Gate, and 11 books (a total of 117 references) that were chosen for preliminary screening were evaluated using a methodical methodology. Upon through examination, 29 articles, or 25% of the total, satisfied the requirements to be regarded as legitimate for the subject at hand. The current condition of lower limb strength and balance in both the experimental and control groups will be determined through preliminary laboratory testing. Two instruments from the Sports University of Tirana biomechanics lab; the Leonardo Platform and the Isokinetic Dynamometer will be employed for the aforementioned measurements. We estimate that the study sample will consist of 60–90 working-age men and women who fall into the 55–65 age range. The systematic literature review and meta-analysis aims to define quantitative relationships of lower limb strength with balance improvement.     The textile industry's pollution is a growing environmental concern. This study promotes sustainable fashion awareness through clothing recycling. By addressing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, we aim to advance eco-friendly fashion. This research can benefit future students and interested individuals. Our methodology included a questionnaire with 105 respondents. Results revealed high support for clothing recycling. The study emphasizes textile waste's environmental consequences, such as water and energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and ecosystem pollution. While most people are environmentally concerned, apathy still poses a threat to the environment

    The Nigerian educational system is today beset by numerousproblems. None of these is more genuine and tenacious thanstudents’ poor academic performance across all educationallevels. This is one of the greatest drawbacks to educationaladvancement. The purpose of this paper was to explore students’views on factors influencing academic performance of elearners.The population consisted of all students from secondyear to fourth year of the National Open University, South Westgeo-political zone. The respondents were asked to express theirviews on factors perceived to influence their academicperformance. The study employed a qualitative study design asa means of carrying out the research. The sample of the studywas made up of 48 respondents from the University which wereselected using purposive sampling technique. Data werecollected through focus group interviews, the interviews wereaudiotaped and transcribed, and data was analyzed throughthematic analysis. The results of this study revealed factors suchas computer reliance and knowledge, benefit of Internet, priorICT experience, collaborative learning, parent influence – ICTliteracy, self-efficacy and motivation and progressive use ofcomputer and benefits as factors perceived by the students toinfluence their academic performance. Based on the findings ofthis study, it was recommended that distance e-learners shouldbe encouraged to register for ICT training before being admittedinto higher institutions. It was also recommended that themanagement of the university should give open access to theInternet and e-mail in the university by establishing ICT learningresource centres that give room for students to access relevantsoftware, applications and technology of any form

    One of the key elements influencing the adoption oftechnology in science teaching and learning is theefficacy of teachers in using technological pedagogicalcontent expertise. This study examines trainee scienceteachers enrolled in three Ilorin colleges of educationand their efficacy in using technological pedagogicalcontent expertise. The study specifically focused oncolleges of education that were owned by the federal,state, and private sectors. This study took into accountvariables including gender, year of study, specialization,and type of school. The study used descriptive surveyresearch method. A multistage sampling approach wasemployed to choose 221 science pre-service teachersfrom selected schools. The research instrument used toelicit responses in this study was an adapted TPACK selfefficacyquestionnaire. The questionnaire was validated,and an internal consistency reliability test was carriedout to determine its reliability. Cronbach’s alphastatistics was used to determine the reliability coefficient,and a value of 0.94 was obtained. Hence, the instrumentwas considered reliable. The data gathered wassubjected to analysis using Welche's t-test and KruskalWallis test. The results indicated that trainee teachers sampled in this study had a moderate level of TPACKself-efficacy when it came to teaching, and that there wasa significant difference in pre-service teachers' selfefficacydepending on their gender, year of study, area ofspecialization, and type of school attended
