Individuelle und kollektive Reiseerfahrung: Sulpiz Boisserée in Italien
The art historian and collector Sulpiz Boisserée gives in his diaries a detailed report on the years he spent in Italy. Through his daily notes, ordinary events are juxtaposed with the remarks on landscape, painting and architecture. In a fragmented, yet constant and continuous way, the writing records the encounters with the German community living and travelling in Italy, a network of social relationships through which the traveller’s ego is forming his identity. In the pragmatic horizon of communication, the exchange of ideas and interests gradually builds up the image of a historical and medieval Italy together with the myth of its classicism
For the protection and integration of unaccompanied foreign minors, the current Italian legislation provides for the figure of voluntary tutors, adequately trained private citizens who take on the protection of a minor assigned to them free of charge. The training of tutors does not provide for the acquisition of pedagogical and intercultural competencies. Many educators present in communities that welcome unaccompanied foreign minors do not have the title of socio-pedagogical educator and little is invested in their in-service training. Although possessing pedagogical and intercultural competencies is necessary for those who work with migrants, do not allocate sufficient time and resources for this training.

This paper analyzes Ernst Wilhelm Ackermann’s travel writing for the very first time. After a brief presentation of this virtually unknown German Vormärz-author, who died very young in 1846, some possible reasons for a repêchage of his poetry, fictional prose and other writings are proposed. The correspondence documenting his two journeys to South Europe – mostly letters to his father – and his fragmentary project Pictures from Italy and Greece are analyzed in detail in the third and largest part of the paper

The essay analyzes Word Groups as original professional pedagogical practice based on a problematic approach and educational intervention addressed to children (aged 6 to 16) of separated couples in situations of high conflict. This practice aims at educating minors – through confrontation and exchange with peers who live in the same condition – to activate a process of awareness-raising, that helps to understand/metabolise the emotional distress caused by the specific family situation, ‘putting word’ on it: the pursued goal is to induce the conflicting parents to re-assume their educational responsibilities. Thus these groups are presented, through the word, as instruments capable of restoring the parental Socratic dialogue necessary for the child to bring together in his/her mind both maternal and paternal horizons and regain a sense of unity of affections and feelings destroyed by conflict.
SOLUZIONI A PORTATA DI MANO CONTRO L’INTRATTENIMENTO IN PSICHIATRIA/HANDY SOLUTIONS AGAINST ENTERTAINMENT IN PSYCHIATRY
In 2016 we conducted a cross-media laboratory in a mental health day centre in Rome. The aim of this essay is not to examine the skills acquired by the participants in the use of communication tools, but to focus on their newfound abilities to look around them, to plan and manage one’s own and standard time, to find a channel to be part of the current world. This teamwork has created a web TV, a Facebook page and a short film. The short film, Reach Out, was useful for a high school lab, in which attempts have made to reflect on some representations of mental illness through media, paintings and photography, to deconstruct them and to unravel the prejudices behind these.Keywords:Cross-media, Short Film, Mental Health
