PRODUZIONE POST-INDUSTRIALE. Quale costo rispetto alle identità segmentate dei lavoratori?/POST-INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION: WHAT COSTS FOR WORKERS’ SEGMENTED IDENTITIES?

    No full text
The article explores how the reconfiguration of the times and methods of professional life drives the formation of social blocks and calls for a reconsideration of the connections between work and non-work. The intermittent and discontinuous working paths which entire generations are being offered almost never match their life expectations; such that an analysis of the job market’s phenomenology over the last fifty years  leads us to a crease between a «no longer» and «not yet». As both the job market and the very biography of precarity change, this article explores the impact that labour flexibility has had on the end of factory work. In analysing the connotation of the formative and remunerative aspects of work, further, it also explores its influence on the construction of a new professional figure. Keywords:Production Processes, Job Market, Working-class, Flexibility, Whirlpool

The investments in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan aremeant to correct the “Water Service Divide” between the North and Southof Italy. The ‘Water Service Divide’ consists of the difficulty of accessinghigh-quality water services in a significant part of the south of the countryas well as in the islands. This article highlights how the regulations developed by the Italian Government for the use of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan funds actually complicate the access to European funds in those regions that most need them. The contribution focuses in particular on the case of Campania, a region in which the failures to successfully entrust the integrated water service by the Campania Water Authority ends up preventing the use of European funds and penalizing public means of water management. Keywords:Water Service Divide; National Recovery and Resilience Plan; EuropeanUnion; Infrastructure; South Italy

Legal anthropocentrism between nature and technology: the new vulnerability of human beings.

Reflection on the possible reform of the Italian Civil Code requires an analysis of the evolution of the relationship between subject and object of law in the legal systems of the Western area. From this perspective, we note the thrusts toward a recognition of legal subjectivity to nature, animals, but especially to devices endowed with AI. At the same time, on another side, strong tendencies toward objectification/reification of human beings (and animals) emerge, from their origin to the different stages of their development. Anthropocentrism implodes, heading toward a transhumanist drift that only an inclusive humanistic vision of every living being could stem

Technologies to support citizens' health behavior must be designed to meet their needs and protect both rights and data. Here are some significant examples for the design and implementation of health technologies in some web and mobile applications used in various countries. Behavioral theories that constitute their background are recalled, as well as narrative, cognitive and design factors that influence its use and adoption. User-centered design is crucial to applied disciplines, as well as for the development of eHealth/mHealth technologies that are useful and effective for end users, but also and above all safe by design

For centuries now, the value and the matter of individual and collective memory and of the preservation of facts and values, has always been important. This is a process located outside of time and space and finds an innovative expression of such complexity in the Homeric poems. Subsequently, the Greek alphabet was involved in an already initiated and widespread narrative process that was nothing more than the tool through which one helps spread an already outlined and defined thought. Today, as in ancient times, the mediation of technology, which increases the possibilities of commercial relationships and transactions, makes the experience of narration and of documentation again essential. One may well wonder whether besides the enormous quantity of transparency, there are means able to create relationships and a more democratic, accessible and, more importantly sustainable digitalisation process. Are we facing the inexorable submissiveness and unknowability of the digital world or, can every process be regulated by the word of law which, similar to the Greek poets and singers in the ancient world, manages to shed light on silence

Protecting minors as technologically vulnerable persons through data protection: An analysis on the effectiveness of law.

The article aims to address the issue of the protection of personal data regarding the only category of vulnerable subjects specifically provided by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR): minors. Corresponding attention is dedicated to the Italian legislation (legislative decree 10 August 2018, n.101) enacted to adapt Italian law (the code regarding the protection of personal data referred to in legislative decree 30 June 2003, n. 196) to the GDPR.I will analyze the provisions referred to minors (e.g., articles 8, 12 GDPR as well as art. 2-quinquies of Legislative Decree 2003/196), as well as the principles and rules provided in general terms, which indeed need to be tailored where applicable to the processing of personal data involving minors. Positive aspects as well as critical issues are highlighted in the light of effectiveness, that is to verify if the objectives set out by law (rectius ratio legis) are put in place through rules able to realize them. With particular attention to privacy policies and effective application in digital contexts, the presentation aims to submit issues and proposals for solutions from both a de iure condito and de iure condendo perspective

STELLANTIS: LAVORO DIPENDENTE NELL’INVERNO DELLA CLASSE OPERAIA/STELLANTIS: EMPLOYEE WORK IN WINTER OF THE WORKING CLASS

The paper examines the transformations underway in the automotive sector, starting with the Stellantis case-study.Using a case study will help to understand if and how trade unions and workers are reacting to social transformations, which are also the effect of the decline of the working class. In the text, the author will analyse the hypothesis that the current passivation, or lack of resistance, is, on the one hand, the result of organizational changes within the union and the various industrial relations developed in recent decades.By reproducing excerpts from the interview, we will try to simultaneously test the effects of rhetoric and discipline and the invention of new resistance practices. Keywords: Discipline; Resistance; Automotive; Worker; Trade Union

The article describes the transition of personal data from an accessory contractual element to a core business of the economic models of Big Tech. The dominant theme is the urgency of a precise regulation of the contractual cases of transfer of personal data. This urgency is highlighted through the analysis of the ruling n.2631/ 2021 of the Council of State, and of the preliminary ruling (Case C-446/21) recently raised by the Austrian Supreme Court, as well as through the study of the current schemes of remuneration of consent
