Pradinių klasių specialiųjų ugdymo(si) poreikių mokinių, besimokančių kartu su bendraamžiais, emocinės savijautos tyrimas

    No full text
Be to, tai gali provokuoti netinkamą elgesį  ar net bloginti fizinę savijautą.

    No full text

The article “Enhancing Digital Inclusion in Adult Education: Impact of the DigIN Project on Social Work and Educational Practices in a Digitally Evolving Society” addresses the very urgent topic of digital inclusion within adult education in the frame of social work. Considering further digitisation of society, effort should urgently be made to improve digital competencies among different population groups to guarantee equity of access and participation. This study aims to evaluate the DigIN project, a structured adult education intervention to enhance digital social inclusion by training educators and Adult Education Organisations. It combines a mixed-method approach of the theoretical review and the implementation of the cooperative project management model, referred to as TEAMWORK. The TEAMWORK model is a systematic framework that has been quintessential to planning and implementing cooperative projects of adult education. The study includes a desk review of the latest strategies on digital inclusion, the document analysis of the Erasmus+ Programme Guide, and case studies representing different stages of the DigIN project. From the preliminary results, the proposed model of TEAMWORK appeared to be properly structuring the DigIN project to enhance collaborative outcomes, manage resources better, and keep aligned with the priorities of Erasmus+ KA204. The key findings are that it is a step-by-step process that facilitates focused teams in making and setting goals. An essential factor in developing shared objectives is vital in digital inclusion. The study concludes that the frequency of monitoring with transparent communication enhances stakeholders’ input and flexibility. At the same time, robust outcome evaluation and risk management assure responsiveness to the new challenges presented by digital education. This research contributes uniquely to the knowledge of structured collaboration to reduce digital marginalisation and promote equity and lifelong learning across diverse populations. By integrating the TEAMWORK model with Erasmus+ guidelines, results were presented in a replicated framework to advance digital competence among educators and further inclusive educational practices within an evolving digital landscape. Ultimately, the study underlines digital inclusion as an integral part of social work within a digitally changing society and promotes sustainable practice to enhance adult education frameworks

    No full text
Printing enterprises face growing competition, rapid tech progress, and higher demands for efficiency and quality. In this context, fast and accurate order evaluation is essential for resource optimization, cost reduction, and competitiveness. Traditional methods − manual input, expert judgment, and classic financial models − are labor-intensive, inflexible, and poorly suited to today’s diverse technologies.Intelligent information systems offer significant value by automating data analysis, revealing hidden patterns, and supporting informed decisionmaking. Their use streamlines production, lowers costs, and boosts financial performance.Although many printing stages (prepress, color management, quality control) are automated, smart order estimation remains underdeveloped − creating bottlenecks, especially for small and medium print runs. This article presents the adaptation of the Flex Estimate AI system for the printing industry. Initially designed for IT project evaluation, the system was enhanced with machine learning and data mining to deliver automated, transparent, and accurate order assessment. Its adoption improves planning, optimizes workflows, and strengthens business resilience during digital transformation

Associations between intermittent fasting and anthropometric data in healthy subjects

    No full text
Recently, increasing attention has been directed towards novel treatment methods aimed at addressing the pathophysiological consequences of obesity and metabolic syndrome. One such approach is intermittent fasting (IF), a dietary method characterized by alternating periods of eating and fasting within a given day. This study employed two intermittent fasting patterns: 16/8 and 12/12. The 16/8 pattern involved fasting for 16 hours and consuming all meals within the remaining 8 hours, while the 12/12 pattern entailed 12 hours of fasting and 12 hours of eating, with both approaches adhering to healthy dietary recommendations. The study included 10 participants (9 women and 1 man) with a mean age of 20.10 ± 1.45 years and a mean body mass index (BMI) of 29.76 ± 5.04 kg/m². Anthropometric measurements, including BMI, weight, muscle mass, fat mass, and visceral fat mass, were collected at three time points: baseline, mid-point, and endpoint. These measurements were performed using a body composition analyzer Tanita DC-360 S. After five months, the results indicated an overall average decrease in BMI of 0.54 kg/m². In the 16/8 IF group, BMI decreased by an average of 0.82 kg/m², while in the 12/12 IF group, the reduction averaged 0.3 kg/m². Regarding weight loss, participants in the 16/8 IF group experienced an average decrease of 2.5 kg, whereas those in the 12/12 IF group lost an average of 1 kg. Changes in body fat mass were observed in all participants. The 16/8 IF group demonstrated an average reduction in body fat mass of 1.7 kg, while the 12/12 IF group showed an average reduction of approximately 1 kg. At the beginning of the study, the mean fat mass of participants was 30.41 ± 9.42 kg, which decreased to 29.15 ± 9.44 kg by the study\u27s endpoint. Muscle mass changes varied between the groups: participants in the 16/8 IF group experienced an average decrease of 0.8 kg, whereas those in the 12/12 IF group showed a slight increase of 0.02 kg

Art deco baldai Lietuvoje: stilistika ir datavimo iššūkiai

    No full text
Lietuvoje iki XX a. 7-ojo dešimtmečio sukurtų baldų datavimas išlieka sudėtingas. Tačiau straipsnyje teigiama, kad Lietuvoje šis stilius baldų gamyboje išliko vyraujantis iki XX a. 6-ojo dešimtmečio pabaigos. Todėl siūloma išplėsti art deco stiliaus chronologines ribas Lietuvoje nuo XX a. 3-iojo iki 6-ojo dešimtmečio. Išvadose teigiama, kad XX a. 3–6 deš. Lietuvos baldų gamyba patyrė reikšmingų permainų – nuo kūrybiškai klestėjusio tarpukario iki pokariu vykusios sovietinės industrializacijos. Nepaisant okupacijos, art deco stiliaus tradicija išliko gyvybinga dėl praktinių bei estetinių savybių, pritaikomų pramoninėje gamyboje. Pokariu baldų estetika pakito dėl medžiagų stygiaus ir techninių apribojimų, tačiau pagrindinės art deco formos ir dizaino bruožai išliko iki XX a. 6 dešimtmečio pabaigos

Market concentration, asset allocation in banking: implications for financial stability and competitive dynamics

    No full text
This study examines the relationship between market concentration and asset allocation in the banking sector, with a particular focus on the Albanian banking industry. Using the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI) as a measure of market concentration, we analyze how banks allocate their assets between traditional lending and investments in government securities. The findings indicate a growing preference for risk-averse investment strategies, particularly among large banks, which raises concerns about the decline in credit intermediation and its implications for profitability, systemic stability, and economic growth. The study also highlights the risks associated with excessive investment in sovereign debt, including interest rate risk, sovereign-bank nexus vulnerabilities, and reduced net interest margins (NIMs). The empirical analysis, based on HHI calculations for the Albanian banking sector, suggests that despite moderate market concentration, a small number of banks hold a dominant share of assets, deposits, and government debt financing, leading to potential systemic risks. The findings underscore the need for balanced asset allocation strategies, enhanced risk management frameworks, and regulatory incentives to promote sustainable lending practices. This research contributes to the ongoing discourse on banking sector competitiveness, financial stability, offering policy recommendations to ensure banks maintain their core function as credit intermediaries while navigating regulatory and market challenges

Artificial intelligence in accounting education: challenges we face

    No full text
Integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into education is a modern shift in pedagogy, complementing traditional teaching methods with interactive and personalised learning experiences. This paper presents the challenges of incorporating artificial intelligence into accounting education. Through intelligent tutoring technologies and teacher knowledge, artificial intelligence can help improve learning outcomes by providing a tailored learning environment and instant feedback. Furthermore, it is widely used in the actual workplace of an accountant for processing accounting data and enhancing accounting techniques. Still, its application in accounting education is still limited. This paper provides insights, particularly relevant to accounting teachers trying to maximise the contribution of artificial intelligence to enhance the quality of accounting curricula\u27s teaching. The study will be based on an analysis of existing academic literature and a survey of higher education teachers. It will seek to understand the reasons for the under-application of AI in accounting education. The limitations of the study are related to its geographical coverage, as only higher education teachers from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, and Poland participated in the survey. Additionally, the selection of respondents is limited to accounting lecturers, excluding the perspectives of students and employers. The study showed that accounting teachers find it difficult to adapt to the use of AI in the context of their teaching. These difficulties relate to several dimensions: the lack of competencies of the teachers themselves, the limitations of the educational institution, the complexity of the teaching process, and the students themselves. This study stands out because it analyses the AI integration challenges in accounting education in the Baltic and Nordic context, where no studies of this kind have been carried out before. The results of the study will be useful for higher education institutions seeking to modernise accounting curricula
