    Iki šiol daugiau nei du trečdalius pasaulinės energijos poreikio patenkina neatsinaujinanti energija, gaunama iš gamtos išteklių. Tyrimai rodo, kad pasaulinio ir regioninio energetinio saugumo rizika didėja dėl gamtos išteklių išeikvojimo. Tuo pačiu metu pastatų modernizavimas atlieka pagrindinį vaidmenį mažinant energijos naudojimą ir poveikį aplinkai. Tyrime analizuojamas šiluminės energijos išgavimo iš nuotekų potencialas. Aptariami klausimai, susiję su aplinkosaugos, ekonominiais ir praktiniais suvaržymais, kaip realiai galima atgauti šią energiją, galimybės sumažinti anglies pėdsaką. Šiame straipsnyje nagrinėjama aprūpinimo energija alternatyva, kiek šilumos būtų galima atgauti iš nuotekų ir ar ši šiluma gali būti veiksmingai panaudota.More than two-thirds of the world’s energy needs are met by non-renewable energy from natural resources. Research shows that the risk to global and regional energy security is increasing due to the depletion of natural resources. At the same time, building modernization plays a key role in reducing energy consumption and environmental impact. The study analyses the potential of thermal energy recovery from wastewater. Issues related to environmental, economic and practical constraints, how this energy can be realistically recovered, and the possibilities for reducing the carbon footprint are discussed. Giliau pažvelgus į mūsų pažangos kelią ir iškylančias problemas suprantame, kad rezultatą pasieksime greičiau, jei dirbsime drauge: vystytojai, naudotojai, projektų rengėjai architektai, urbanistai, kraštovaizdžio architektai, inžinieriai, teisinės aplinkos kūrėjai ir jos prižiūrėtojai.     Intelektinės transporto sistemos (ITS) yra esminis modernios kelių infrastruktūros elementas, leidžiantis didinti eismo saugumą, optimizuoti transporto srautus ir užtikrinti kelių dangos ilgaamžiškumą. Atlikta ITS analizė Lietuvos keliuose atskleidė, kad esamas ITS diegimas Lietuvoje yra fragmentuotas, o tai riboja eismo valdymo efektyvumą ir didina kelio dangos nusidėvėjimo tempą. Šiame straipsnyje aptariamas ITS diegimo netolygumas ir jų tarpusavio sąveikos stoka, kuri riboja technologijų potencialą efektyviai valdyti eismo srautus ir užtikrinti infrastruktūros ilgaamžiškumą. Remiantis tarptautine praktika, siūlomas ITS efektyvumo vertinimo algoritmas, kuris leistų objektyviai įvertinti ITS sprendimų naudą ir jų taikymo efektyvumą.Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) are an essential element of modern road infrastructure, allowing us to improve traffic safety, optimise traffic flows and ensure the longevity of pavement. The analysis of ITS on Lithuanian roads has shown that the existing ITS deployment in Lithuania is fragmented, which limits the efficiency of traffic management and increases the rate of pavement deterioration. This paper discusses the unevenness of ITS deployment and the lack of interaction between them, which limits the potential of the technologies to effectively manage traffic flows and ensure the longevity of infrastructure. Based on international practice, an algorithm for assessing the effectiveness of ITS is proposed, which would allow an objective assessment of the benefits of ITS solutions and the efficiency of their application.Taip / Ye

    Research of the water permeability of the base layer of the road pavement structure from unbound mixture, using a vertical tubular infiltrometer

    Šiame straipsnyje analizuojama kelio dangos konstrukcijos nesurištojo pagrindo sluoksnio vandens pralaidumo ir filtracijos koeficiento sąsaja. Įrengus apsauginį šalčiui atsparų sluoksnį vienas atliekamų kontrolės bandymų yra pralaidumo vandeniui koeficiento k10 nustatymas. Šiuo metu šis bandymas atliekamas laboratorijoje bandiniui paimtam objekte. Paprastai šis bandymas trunka apie 1–3 darbo dienas, priklausomai nuo duomenų apimties, reikalingos tinkamumo bandymui atlikti, kiti kontrolės bandymai trunka trumpiau. Siekiant paspartinti darbų priėmimą, sluoksnio pralaidumas vandeniui lauko sąlygomis gali būti nustatomas vertikaliuoju vamzdiniu infiltrometru. Straipsnyje nagrinėjamas kelio dangos konstrukcijos pagrindo sluoksnio pralaidumo vandeniui matavimas infiltrometru. Analizuojami sluoksnio iš nesurištojo mišinio filtracijos koeficiento ir pralaidumo vandeniui koeficiento matavimų, atliktų skirtinguose objektuose su skirtinga medžiaga, rezultatai. Įvertinta priklausomybė tarp nesurištojo mišinio filtracijos ir pralaidumo vandeniui koeficientų.This article analyzes the relationship between the water permeability and filtration coefficient of the unbound base layer of a road pavement structure. After installing a protective frost-resistant layer, one of the control tests performed is the determination of the water permeability coefficient k10. Currently, this test is performed in the laboratory on a sampled object. Usually, this test lasts about 1–3 working days, depending on the volume of data required for the suitability test. While other control tests last shorter. In order to accelerate the acceptance of works, the water permeability of the layer under outdoor conditions can be determined using a vertical tubular infiltrometer. The article analyzes the measurement of the water permeability of the base layer of a road pavement structure using an infiltrometer. The results of measurements of the filtration coefficient and water permeability coefficient of a layer from an unbound mixture, carried out in different objects with different materials, are analyzed. The dependence between the filtration and water permeability coefficients of the unbound mixture is evaluated.Taip / Ye

    Assessment of chronic fatigue in the work environment – CFS methodology

    A toxic or mismanaged work environment, along with a lack of support and self-care opportunities, can directly contribute to chronic fatigue. It’s important for organizations to recognize these connections and implement strategies to promote healthier, more sustainable work environments. The paper presents the results of the verification of the new, original CFS methodology for the assessment of chronic fatigue syndrome. On a research sample of 366 employees working in different work areas, three attributes were extracted using factor analysis: Fatigue at work, Stress at work, Perfectionism, which explain 50.859% of variance. The basic psychometric parameters of the CFS methodology, the values of Cronbach’s alpha and the differences in the assessment of factors are also presented. The aim of the paper was therefore to approach the issue from a theoretical as well as methodological point of view and to point out the possibilities of assessing its syndromes in its infancy. In order to collect data and information, we opted for a questionnaire focused on chronic fatigue. The methodology consists of 20 statements related to the assessment and subsequent detection of symptoms of the assessed disease. The analysis of the data confirmed the existence of statistically significant differences in the assessment of individual extracted factors of the CFS methodology.     Darni aplinka ir tvarumas mados industrijoje yra aktualus klausimas šiandienos pasaulio kontekste. Mados pramonė yra pripažinta viena labiausiai aplinką teršiančių industrijų visame pasaulyje. Jos poveikis aplinkai apima didelę vandens ir oro taršą, energijos bei cheminių medžiagų suvartojimą ir didelį atliekų kiekį – nuo mikroplastiko iki neparduotos tekstilės. Dabar tvari mada skelbia naują sąmoningumo erą. Gyvename perteklinio vartojimo amžiuje, ir tai ypač akivaizdu mados industrijoje. Visas drabužių gamybos procesas taip pat generuoja tekstilės atliekas. Būtinybę keisti žmonių vartojimo įpročius ir pradėti saugoti planetą akcentuoja ir naujausia CNN klimato ataskaita. Mokslininkai įspėja apie kritinę situaciją pasaulyje: pirmą kartą žmonijos istorijoje sutrikdytas Didysis vandens apytakos ratas – sudėtinga sistema, kuria vanduo juda aplink Žemę. Dešimtmečius trukęs destruktyvus žemės naudojimas ir netinkamas vandens išteklių valdymas lėmė krizę, kurią dar labiau gilina žmogaus veikla. Ši vis auganti ekologinė katastrofa turės rimtų padarinių ekonomikai, maisto tiekimui ir žmonių sveikatai bei gyvybėms.Environmental sustainability is a critical issue in the fashion industry today. This industry is recognized as one of the most polluting sectors globally. The fashion industry significantly impacts the environment through water and air pollution, high energy and chemical consumption, and the production of large amounts of waste, including microplastics and leftover textiles. Sustainable fashion is now directing in a new era of awareness. We live in a time of overconsumption, particularly noticeable in the fashion industry. The entire clothing production process contributes to textile waste. The recent CNN climate report (on October 16, 2024) emphasizes the urgent need to change people’s consumption habits and take action to protect our planet (Paddison, 2024). Scientists warn of a catastrophic situation, stating that the global water cycle is off balance for the first time in human history. The Great Water Cycle is the complex system through which water moves around the Earth. Decades of destructive land use and mismanagement of water resources have created a manmade crisis.     Impact of IOT on B2B digital marketing: investigating the mediating role of operational effectiveness

    The emergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) has driven a significant shift in business processes, particularly in online marketing. This study examines the impact of IoT implementation on marketing performance, emphasizing the mediating role of operational effectiveness in a business-to-business (B2B) context. Using data from a German company, the research employs regression analyses based on the Baron and Kenny framework to assess direct and mediated relationships. The findings reveal that IoT has a significant positive effect on marketing performance. While operational effectiveness alone does not significantly predict IoT’s impact, it has a strong direct influence on marketing outcomes. The study confirms a partial mediation effect, with a small yet statistically significant indirect pathway. These results highlight the important role of operational effectiveness in maximizing the benefits of IoT for marketing success. This research contributes to the limited literature on IoT’s mediating variables in marketing and offers actionable insights for optimizing IoT-driven B2B marketing strategies.Taip / Ye

    The role of ergonomic work environments in reducing mental and physical strain among office workers: systematic literature review

    The work environment affects office workers’ well-being. Prolonged sitting, poor ergonomics, and job demands contribute to musculoskeletal issues and stress. Ergonomic solutions, like adjustable desks and micro-breaks, improve health and productivity. This study aims to analyze the role of ergonomic work environments in reducing mental and physical strain among office workers, identifying the most effective strategies for improving employee well-being and productivity. A systematic review of PubMed and Scopus (2000–2024) used keywords: “ergonomics,” “mental strain,” “physical strain,” and “office workers.” Studies were selected for relevance to workplace ergonomics and well-being. Poor ergonomics and inactivity increase physical strain, while job pressure heightens stress. Physical activity, ergonomic workstations, and social support improve well-being and productivity at work among office workers. The role of technology has been analyzed and proved that it can help reduce cognitive load but may also generate additional stress if implemented without careful consideration. The efficiency of these interventions has been proved across diverse sectors and global settings.     The contribution of entrepreneurial component of education to resilience of higher education institutions

    Entrepreneurship education ensures the application of risk assessment, opportunity identification, and strategic decision-making in uncertain periods. The object of the research is higher education institutions in different fields. The subject of the research is the improvement of the entrepreneurial component of education in HEIs. The study aims to identify how improving entrepreneurship education in HEIs can contribute to enhancing their competitiveness. The study is focused on Ukrainian HEIS, applying the HEInnovate framework for research to assess faculty members’ perceptions through a structured survey. Using such methods as statistical interpretation of the survey and literature review, the study identifies which formal learning mechanisms and informal activities strengthen HEI resilience. The results of the research showed no significant variation by the institutional location, academic field, or faculty age, indicating the equal relevance of entrepreneurial education. The study concludes that the incorporation of entrepreneurial components in HEI curricula and governance management fosters adaptability, sustainability, and long-term institutional capacity, offering valuable insights for enabling HEIs to navigate in dynamic and uncertain environment.Taip / Ye

This paper develops a theoretical framework to examine how influencer marketing fosters consumer trust in the wellness industry. Employing a systematic literature review, the study identifies key mechanisms of trust-building – authenticity, credibility, transparency, and audience engagement – and analyzes the strategic implications of influencer selection, content alignment, and platform-specific tactics. Special emphasis is placed on the shift from macro- to micro-influencers, the role of long-term collaborations, and the application of performance analytics. The research also proposes a four-stage influencer marketing model and a conceptual trust-building framework tailored to wellness branding.
