Zur Entwicklung des Lesens im Fremdsprachenunterricht
Reading, one of the four language skills developed in the process of foreign langua.ge instruction has a receptive character. However, it is more and more often interpreted not only in the categories of reception and production, but also as a kind of interaction, i.e. relations between the text (author) and the reader who co-creates the text. From this active role of the reader result certain consequences for foreign language teaching as far as the selection of texts and forms of working on them are concerned. When the texts a reselected it is important to take into account, apart from students\u27 interests, their perceptive abilities in the linguistic and intellectual aspect, the structure of the text – from the point of view of form and content. These problems and examples of work with a literary and technical text are presented in this article
Zur Rezeption Wolf Biermanns in den beiden deutschen Staaten
The author presents negative aspects of cultural politics in East and West Germany on the example of the biography and reception of the Wolf Biermann\u27s works. The first two parts of the article include examples of several sophisticated methods which served as means of repression towards the writer in East Germany. Among other methods there were: prevention from being published and from giving live perfomances, suppression of travelling abroad, correspondence confiscation, vexation of his family and friends with interference in private and intimatest spheres of life, continuous eavesdropping and control, trials of intimidation and the expulsion from East Germany in 1976. The suppressions were continued „succesfully“ also after 1976, during his stay in the West. A part of those „operational activities“ against the poet and his work is documented in „Stasi“ archives, which were made accessible to him 1993 (the documentation about his person includes over 40 000 pages). The last part of the article describes the history of the poet\u27s reception in West Germany either before his expulsion from East Germany or later. The mechanism of the censorship worked there quite differently but it is possible to proove on selected examples, that for instance big, recognized publishers were afraid to publish the damned and oppressed by the East German regime artists
Deutsch-polnische Äquivalenz aus der Sicht der Textstruktur
In the article the author discussed the problem of coherence of text in German and Polish, namely the principle of indications on the line of the text. The author established a number of exponents (indicators) of the so called reference of the text whose interpretation has been extended with the aspect of the so called isotopy of the text. The established types of equivalence give a picture of regularity in the structure of the text and point to the systems possibilities and restrictions in the field of the so called language usage in both languages
Kontext und Bedeutung
Starting from the concept of text as "a grammatically coherent component of the act of utterance" the author takes a critical view of the up-to-date understanding of the text meaning, differentiating it with respect to a given communicative situation as that of the sender and that of the recipient, i.e. in the way it is required by so called radical constructivism. Contextual meaning with language interactions is constituted by the individual and social context of the communicators. Following the tradition of Malinowski the author distinguishes within the cultural context between a conventional and connotative one, emphasizing also such factors as the knowledge of the world and the individually experienced context. All kinds of context are shown in their mutual relations as well as to the text meaning
Zur Stellung und Funktion des Hörverstehens im sprachpraktischen Unterricht polnischer Germanistikstudenten
The position of listening (oral comprehension) at German studies and the functions which it performs in the teaching process are determined by the level of foreign language mastery of the students. This level makes it that developing of a complex ability of oral comprehension, thus oriented to the reception of the meaning contained in the text, is connected in the course of teaching with developing of the other language skills and with the work on the subsystems of the language and in particular on the lexical subsystem. The general remarks contained in the first part of the article are in the course of further considerations the basis for differentiation of the position and functions of listening skill (oral comprehension) in specific years of studies
Interaktionsschemata als Ordnungsprinzip von Textkorpora gesprochener Sprache
The article is a methodical contribution to the analysis of spoken language. In its first part the author points to the difficulties in the classification of spoken language records. She then describes the various stages of analysis with the aim of obtaining homogeneous text corpora. lnteraction patterns characteristic of two communication situations (in a shop and in an office) are presented. The author recommends such patterns for all types of interaction
Ellipse in den deutschen und polnischen Dialogen
The article includes in first part the review of some definitions of elliptic constructions, in particular a presentation of views of Soviet linguists. In part two the author describes and classifies elliptic utterances. The corpus are 32 dialogues taken from belles-lettres
G. E. Lessing „Ernst und Falk. Gespräche für Freimäurer" - Hauptpositionen der Rezeption bis 1933
The most important evidence of an intensive influence of this outstanding humanistic work of Lessing beyond the free-mason milieu was the creative reception of free-masonic conversations by Herder, Friedrich Schlegel, and Fichte. Already in the early phase of reception this work was used for the radical political goals in the Enlightenment ideology of the Order of llluminates by Adam Weishaupt. Another variant of ideological-political instrumentalization was the revolutionary-socialist reception among the German communists who lived as emigrants in Paris. The fundamental trend of this reception was undertaken and developed by the later Marxist interpreters (Mehring). Ideological one-sidedness of this kind of reception was relativized by the authors of works on the study of literature who presented more varied and balanced opinions
