    The Effect of Marketing Agility in Reducing Marketing Risk

    The study aims to diagnose the nature of the relationship and the impact between marketing agility and marketing risk, as studies have confirmed that marketing agility is one of the most important factors that enable organizations to adapt to the environment and its variables, and enable the organization to make its marketing decisions quickly and implement them with high flexibility, in a way that enables it to avoid or reduce Marketing risk to the maximum extent possible, Scientific Bureau and Drug Store were selected as a field for study, and their employees were selected as a sample for the study, which numbered (311) respondents, and with the aim of collecting the required data and information, the questionnaire was designed as a main tool in data collection, which was covered through (66) phrases. Included in the questionnaire based on a group of scientific sources, the study adopted the descriptive analytical approach in an attempt to answer the questions of the study and test its hypotheses using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).     The role of operational performance in supporting the financial flexibility of the company by applying to a group of companies listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange for the period (2009-2020)

    The study aimed to evaluate the operational performance of the company and explain its role in supporting its financial flexibility by following the method of descriptive and quantitative analysis. To achieve this aim, operational cash (OCF, current asset turnover CAT) and financial flexibility measurement based on the indicator (debt flexibility + cash flexibility) have been applied to a group of companies listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange consisting of (6) companies and for the years (2009-2020), Furthermore, showing the impact of Operational performance indicators as an independent variable in financial flexibility as a dependent variable using multiple regression analysis. Results showed that the highest positive significant effect of operational performance on financial flexibility was in (Qatar Fuel Company and Qatar Cement Company), while the rest of the companies did not show a clear effect, as for the results of the regression measurement for the total companies, it was found that there is a significant non-strong impact between operational performance in financial flexibility. Finally, there are a set of recommendations were made, the most important of which is the need to study and identify the influencing factors On the financial flexibility of companies with the need to develop and adopt new models for measuring operational performance. &nbsp

    Prevalence of Epstein-Barr virus among hemodialysis patients in Kirkuk city

    Epstein-Barr virus infection has a significant global impact on adults. In individuals with a strong immune system, the infection usually remains inactive and is effectively controlled. However, for those with compromised immune systems like hemodialysis patients, the virus can lead to severe illnesses that endanger lives. This study aims to evaluate the presence of IgM and IgG antibodies against the Epstein-Barr virus in hemodialysis patients and explore potential connections between the prevalence of these antibodies, the duration of dialysis (whether exceeding or less than one year), and the frequency of weekly dialysis sessions. The research carried out in Kirkuk city encompassed 91 individuals undergoing hemodialysis and a control group of 50 individuals. Blood serum samples were collected from all participants in the study and subjected to analysis using the ELISA technique. The recent findings revealed that among hemodialysis patients, the prevalence of EBV IgM/IgG antibodies was 7.6% and 42.8% respectively, while in the control group, these values were 0% and 8%. The presence of EBV IgM and IgG antibodies showed a notable correlation with the younger age group. No statistically significant differences were noted concerning the patients' gender. Notably, EBV IgM levels were elevated in patients undergoing dialysis for over a year (71.4%), displaying significant divergence with a p-value of 0.015. The prevalence of Epstein Barr virus was higher in hemodialysis patients compared to the control group. Additionally, the occurrence of acute EBV infection showed a strong association with the duration of dialysis and the frequency of weekly dialysis sessions

    Serological Study of Toxoplasmosis in Slaughtered Animals in Mousl, Iraq

     A study was conducted to elucidate the prescence of T.gondii antibodies in the serum of slaughtered cattle, sheep & goats in Mosul abattoir. The study was carried out during the period from October 2002 to March 2003. For serological tests, 300 serum samples were collected from (100) of each slaughtered cattle, sheep & goats. Serum samples collected from slaughtered goats showed the highest percentage of infection using latex agglutination test and was (54%), followed by sheep (49%), while the lowest percentage (23%) was detected in cattle serum. To determine antibodies in positive serum samples, a modified latex agglutination test was used. The highest percentage of IgG was found in sheep (87.8%) followed by cattle (86.96%) and goats (83.3%). However, the highest percentage of IgM was found in goats (16.7%) followed by cattle (13.04%) and sheep (12.2%). A trial for preparing ELISA test manually was conducted in the laboratory of the Microbiology Branch/ College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Mosul, through the isolation of the parasite (antigen) from aborted sheep fetuses.      Abstract The aim of the current study is testing the mortality effect of mixtures of Milk thistle and Carthamus tinctorius oils with some insecticides on the whole and larvae of flour beetles using three different pesticides: Aktara, Indoxacarb and Alfacypermethrin, using the four different concentrations 50, 100, 200, 500 ppm for each mixing ratio (oil: pesticide) in the general rate mortality of the concentrations of oil mixture with pesticides in the adults and larvae of flour beetles. The results of the statistical analysis showed a clear significant difference between the general averages of the mortality ratios of the four concentrations. The results also indicated the values of propensity, LC50, and the total activation ratios of the mixtures of Milk thistle oils and Sob with the pesticides Aktara, Indoxacarb, and Alfacypermethrin. A variation in the LC50 values for the mixtures of oils with pesticides was noticed, but there is an increase in the toxicity of the mixture of oil and Indoxacarb pesticide compared with the mixtures of oil, Aktara pesticide and alfacypermethrin. The LC50 values for mixtures of Milk thistle and Carthamus tinctorius oils with Indoxacarb pesticide reached 34.5 and 17.9 ppm on caterpillars and 46.4 and 23.5 ppm on adults, while it reached 46.4 and 23.5 ppm for mixtures The oils themselves with the Aktara pesticide were 858.5 and 715.3 ppm on caterpillars and 190.3 and 538.7 ppm on adults. As for the mixtures of oils with Alfacypermethrin, they were 3194.4 and 248.5 ppm on caterpillars and 307.8 and 1410.5 ppm on adults

    The field study was conducted during the agricultural season 2022-2023 in three locations. The first is the apiary of the College of Agriculture and Forestry, in which the bee sects were feeding and resting on the natural wild plants and bushes present in the apiary and the surrounding areas. The second location was in one of the agricultural fields in the Rashidieh area, in which it was planted. Seeds of the bee bread plant Borago officinalis at a rate of one dunam. The third site was in one of the agricultural fields of the Al-Mazra'i neighborhood of Nineveh Governorate, in which rapeseed Brassica napus  was planted, at a rate of one dunam as well. The results of the study showed that the treatment of bee bread (the second site) on 1/10 was superior in recording the highest bee density, worker brood, pollen grain area and mature honey area, which was positively reflected in the amount of honey produced, with averages of 17.66 bees, 785.66 inches2, 302.17 inches2, and 803 inches. 33 inches2 and 9.08 kg / colony, respectively, and the treatment of rapeseed plants (the third site) recorded satisfactory and good results in which it outperformed the comparison treatment with averages of 14.42 bees, 596.66 inches2, 257.66 inches2, 760.33 inches2, and 7. 63 kg / colony, respectively, while this percentage decreased in the comparison treatment (first site) on 11/11, which recorded the lowest averages of 5.17 bees, 341.33 inches2, 40.66 inches2, 118.33 inches2, and 2.54 kg. Respectively, the results confirmed the necessity of cultivating bee bread and rapeseed plants to provide beds and a good pasture of nectar and pollen through which bee colonies can cross the winter stage and obtain high bee density and good storage of honey and pollen

    The Effects of Using Eco-friendly Materials for the Production of High Strength Mortar

    This study aims to evaluate the effect of using eco-friendly mineral admixtures, such as calcined clay (CC), silica fume (SF), and limestone (L), as partial replacements for ordinary Portland cement (OPC) in the production of high-strength mortar(HSM). The use of these materials can help reduce the environmental impact of cement production by decreasing carbon dioxide emissions and preserving natural resources. To achieve the desired strength, different mixtures were proportioned by increasing the percentage of binder and limiting the water-to-binder ratio (w/b) with the aid of superplasticizer (SP) type G. The mechanical behavior and strength of the blended cements were evaluated, and the optimal mix was determined based on the results of mechanical behavior, strength, and flowability. The results revealed that the optimal mix that gives the best mechanical behavior is the mix F32 with combination of (8% SF + 4 %L+  13% CC) with an increase about 35 % to control mix strength. The study concludes that using CC, SF, and L as partial replacements for OPC can improve the properties of modern concrete/mortar mixes, resulting in improved durability, service-life properties, and mechanical properties. The results of this study can be utilized as a base for future studies on the same concrete mix design

    With the beginning of the industrial revolution in the eighteenth century, ICE, refrigeration equipment and power stations developed. All of the above devices use TBHE. The important thing is the recent increase in energy demand, which led researchers to find optimal solutions to save the largest amount of energy. The objective of this review can be summarized in the research published in the field of TBHE of all kinds. In order to improve the performance of the TBHE, two basic conditions must be met, the first is to increase the CHTC, and the second is to reduce the PD across the HE. In order to reach this goal, many influential variables must be studied, including pipe diameters and shapes, vertical and horizontal distances, fins shape, and installation method. In addition to the arrangement of the tubes through the TBHE. It was in the form of IL or staggered, the type of flow that was stratified or turbulent. The most important variables affecting on the performance of HEs can be summarized in general. The shape of the pipes had a greater urgency in the process, as the flat pipes had better performance than the circular TBHE. Both the PD and the CHTC are a function of the Reynolds number, as both increase with the increase in the Reynolds number. Therefore, studies in this field must be intensified to obtain the optimal design TBHE, taking into account all the above variables
