This research investigates the performance of integrated system combining of hydraulic storage and solar power in Iraq. A photovoltaic-water pumping system was designed to store solar energy in the form of water in tank at a height of 6 mm. The study evaluates the influence of solar radiation level and pumping time in determining the amount of energy stored. During clear days in March, 175 minutes was taken to pump a total of 3400 liters of water in the case of the fixed PV panel, while when using the tracker, the time is reduced to 165 minutes for filling the tank with the same quantity of water due to the increase in the pumping capacity in the case of the tracker. During a cloudy day in the same month, the same quantity of water was pumped in 230 minutes. The stored water was then utilized to generate electricity, with varying flow rates based on the desired power output .The highest produced power was obtained by 42.9 W at a 42 lit / sec water flow rate, and the lowest power obtained by 23.2 W at a minimum water flow rate of 25 lit / sec. Moreover, the system's cost-effectiveness is enhanced by employing a direct current pump which can be used without the need for the inverter or batteries. These findings provide good understanding for the integrating of the hydraulic storage and solar power systems, offering potential solutions for sustainable energy generation in Iraq

The study aims to identify the sites of Arabic bookstores accessible on the Internet. The study used the descriptive analytical approach to study an intended sample of (5) websites of an Arab bookstore that includes a group of publishers according to the checklist and to compare them. The study came out with a set of results, the most important of which are:1. Arab stores vary in the statement of reliability and attribution of the website that they represent, as we find that the Arab store (Nil and Furat.com) is the most reliable Arab store, as it contains detailed information about its actual and virtual presence. 2. Arab stores compete in providing different types and forms of information sources, and we find that the (Neil and Furat.com) store provides more diverse sources of information.3. Stores agree to provide the requirements to facilitate the purchase process, while they do not agree to provide different types of payment methods, as we find that the (Neil and Furat.com) store includes multiple types of payment methods when purchasing. The study reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which are:1. Those in charge of the process of selection and provision in libraries must verify and ensure the reliability of the attribution of the website of the Arab Store if the library collection is developed.2. Diversifying the sources of information in the store or opening a special window to register the required sources to meet them, especially the store (Kitabak Lababak).3. The need to provide more than one method of payment through the website to facilitate the purchase process for the beneficiaries without being content with one method, as in the store

Determine of the efficient portfolio for Amman stock exchange according on sectorial diversification : Determine of the efficient portfolio

The research aims to determine the efficient investment portfolios for the sectors of the Amman Stock Exchange, and to determine the efficient investment ratios for their sectors, for the period (2004-2021), using quadratic programming, and using the Excel Solver tool. Amman Stock Exchange without this having a significant impact on the size of the risk, In addition to the large variation between sectors in terms of levels of return and risk, which indicates the need to study each sector in terms of aspects related to levels of return and risk associated with it, in order to reach an efficient portfolio. The investor avoids the risks of economic fluctuations in important sectors and exploits the positive results in his interest ,which indicates that the components of the portfolio are directed to the category of assets that include several companies (a sector), and not directed towards a financial asset issued by a particular company, And based on the assumption that the sector index is an important lead stock performance, which results in the combination of assets that are not fully correlated with each other, reduces the risk of portfolio volatility and maximizing potential riskadjusted returns. which means that investors can adopt the quadratic programming method, when His desire to build an efficient investment portfolio that would achieve the highest possible return and less risk, as well as the possibility of using this method to form an efficient portfolio using the Amman Stock Exchange companies for each sector separately, The results also indicate the sensitivity of the return to the investment ratios, as a result of the higher return in greater proportions than the risk, when changing the investment ratios

Abstract: The unusual virus, now known as Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), spread fast throughout China and other regions of the world due to its remarkable ability for human-to-human transmission. Patients with COVID-19 commonly experience significant morbidity and mortality from subsequent bacterial infections. Aim: To determine the incidence of typical bacterial infections in COVID-19 pneumonia, including Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aerogenusa, Escherichia coli, and Staphylococcus aureus. Hundred sputum samples were taken from individuals who had been identified as having the developing Coronavirus and were dwelling in intensive care units in Hospitals (Al Shifa hospital) in Kirkuk city/Iraq. The BDph Phoenix m50 procedure was used to test the antibiotic sensitivity of samples collected on various culture mediums, then transferred to pure cultures and diagnosed. The total of 100 patients, 60% of them had a secondary bacterial infection, whereas 40% of them did not. The most common isolated species was Staphylococcus aureus identification at (40%) followed by K. pneumoniae (33%), Pseud. aeruginosa (22%), and E. coli (5%). The majority of the identified strains were resistant to the study's antibiotics. This study demonstrates that SARS-CoV-2 infected critically sick individuals had a very high frequency of subsequent bacterial infection. The pathogenic bacteria that were identified for this investigation were resistant to the majority of the antibiotics that were utilized.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) was a chronic functional gastrointestinal disorder with an estimated prevalence of 10% around the globe. (IBS) is a common characterized by recurrent abdominal pain or discomfort associated with altered bowel habit. Humans and animals gut contain intestinal parasites live in, and the intestinal wall is preferred for most of these parasites. Human intestine contaminated by many parasites, the most common of them are  intestinal worms, Giardia, blastocyst and others. Method: The current study was conducted on 76 Iraqi participants suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and the diagnosis is made by the consultant physician, according to clinical signs and laboratory diagnosis (blood test (WBC, NEU, LYM, Hb), during the period from November 2021 to March 2022. Blood The sample (2 ml) was drawn intravenously with a sterile injection and then emptied in a plastic tubes containing EDTA anticoagulant and a complete blood count(CBC) test was performed. A stool sample was taken and examined under a microscope to see if the sample contained parasites or not. Result: We have noticed the presence of different types of parasites in 54 samples with irritable bowel syndrome, the most prominent of them Blastocyst hominis and Entamoeba histolytica and 22 samples that do not contain parasites, after the laboratory diagnosis , the result was that: the ratio of white blood cell (WBC) and lymphocyte (LYM) increased, but decrease occurred in the ratio of Hb for the IBS patient infected with parasite. Conclusion: This study proved that the highest rate of parasite infection was for Blastocystis hominis and the lowest percentage for Teania saginata  which also affects the  hematological parameters in patients with irritable bowel syndrome

The Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH): types and application: a review

    No full text
The macromolecule identification method known as fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) is regarded as a recent development in the study of cytology. It was first created as a physical mapping method to identify genes inside chromosomes. Later, biological and medical studies benefited from the precision and adaptability of FISH. This attractive method offers a level of resolution in between chromosomal studies and DNA analysis. A hybridizing DNA probe used in FISH can either be directly or indirectly labeled. Fluorescent nucleotides are employed in direct labeling, whereas reporter molecules used in indirect labeling are afterwards recognized through affinity molecules, fluorescent antibodies, or other means. An excessively high number of chromosomes in a cell, unique gene fusions, or the loss of a chromosomal segment or an entire chromosome are examples of genetic disorders that can be detected with FISH. It is also used in a variety of scientific projects, including gene mapping and the discovery of fresh oncogenes. This article examines the FISH idea, its use, and its benefits in medical research
