Decision tree in Obesity Level Classification of Northern Technical University Students
Get PDFThe rising prevalence of overweight and obesity among youth and adolescents is a concerning trend in many countries. This poses a significant threat to current and future healthcare systems due to the associated risks of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, metabolic disorders, and even mortality. Developing effective strategies for preventing these conditions and understanding their origins are crucial. Creating predictive models for overweight and obesity in young individuals and their related outcomes holds immense value, and machine learning models have proven to be valuable tools for this purpose. The main objective of this study is to construct a data-driven model that can forecast the likelihood of overweight or obesity in youngsters. HTo achieve this, the researchers employed Decision tree analysis using the Rapid Miner program. This analysis aimed to determine the extent to which various human variables contribute to obesity and how accurately these factors can classify individuals into different obesity index categories based on their determined body mass(body weight in kg divided by the square of body length in meters). For this study, a body mass of <= 24.9 kg.m-2 was considered normal weight (obesity index = 0), while a body mass above 24.9 kg.m-2 indicated overweight (obesity index = 1), The attributes related to student activity and nutrition were utilized as inputs for the Decision tree models, and the outputs were the obesity index classifications. The results of the investigation demonstrated successful classification of obesity levels, with an efficiency rate of 94.16%. This indicates that the data attributes used in the study were highly accurate in determining the obesity index
Fog Computing: A Comprehensive Review of Architectures, Applications, and Security Challenges

It tries to overcome the limits of traditional cloud designs by putting storage, computing, and resources of networking closer to the data source. This results in accelerated processing, decreased latency, and enhanced system performance. Fog computing designs use a hierarchical approach, where the fog nodes act as an intermediary layer for local data processing and the cloud infrastructure acts as the top layer to support the fog nodes while the devices and sensors generate the data at the bottom layer. The paper discusses the uses of fog computing, and security issues,and suggests countermeasures including encryption, intrusion detection, and access control to reduce risks. It is anticipated that as fog computing develops further, it will spur creativity and efficiency in the linked world because to its adaptability and versatility. Performance of solar stills integrated with PV/Thermal solar collectors: A review

Despite the critical importance of fresh water in the modern world, water pollution caused by industry and increasing urbanization has significantly reduced the amount of pure water available on Earth. Changes in global climate and seasons also contribute significantly to the depletion of fresh water resources. Population growth over the past few decades has increased the demand for safe drinking water. Multiple water-borne diseases can result from drinking contaminated water, and depending on the level of pollution, this could even be fatal. There are several ways to purify polluted water, but solar distillation is the most cost-effective and environmentally friendly option because it mimics the hydrological processes seen in nature and can be powered by the sun alone. Solar stills provide drinkable water and don't call for any special expertise to operate or maintain. An integrated PV/T solar still is a welcome solution for distant locations that already struggle with access to safe drinking water and dependable electricity. According to research, a passive solar still produced 2–5 kg/m2 of fresh water daily whereas an active solar still connected to a PV/T collector could produce 6–12 kg/m2 of fresh water daily. Design and Implementation of multi-level inverter for PV system with various DC Sources
Get PDFMultilevel inverters (MLI) are now favored over conventional transformers due to higher output voltage levels and lower harmonic distortions. In this study, a 45-level and 39-level inverter with lower power switchgear number was constructed. The 16-switch single-phase MLI inverter is generated, simulated, and used realistically. The simulation system uses a control method called sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM). The output voltage from the simulation includes total harmonic distortion (THD). THD values of 45 and 39 level output voltage simulation are 2.59% and 2.98% respectively. The system has been designed and tested practically without load? The THD value was 2.69% for 45-level and 3.13% for 39-level. These results demonstrate that the proposed MLI circuit and SPWM controller were successful in achieving the necessary voltage level and THD decreased when level increased
Dimensions of Marketing Intelligence An exploratory study of the opinions of a number of employees of the Green Fields Dairy Production Company Ltd
Get PDFThe aim of the current research is to describe and diagnose the level of awareness of the two scientists in the researched company about the dimensions of marketing intelligence represented by (customer intelligence, market intelligence, product intelligence, competitor intelligence, and supplier intelligence) among the employees of the Green Fields Dairy Company Ltd., with the aim of showing their level of awareness of these Dimensions. Therefore, the researchers sought to include the dimensions of marketing intelligence and its measures in this research in an attempt to identify the reality of the dimensions of marketing intelligence in the company in question. Dimensions of marketing intelligence? In order to answer this question, two main hypotheses were adopted.
1- There is a certain level (high - medium - low) of using the dimensions of marketing intelligence by the company's employees.
2- The two scientists surveyed in the company do not have a clear and accurate awareness of the dimensions of marketing intelligence.
And they were tested using the appropriate statistical tools through a questionnaire form prepared and distributed for this purpose, as (83) forms were distributed and were fully recovered, that is, by (100%), the results of the statistical analysis showed that the answers of the respondents were in the positive direction, which enabled the researchers From presenting a set of conclusions, the most important of which were:
1- Marketing intelligence is a component of total intelligence and one of the dimensions of marketing intelligence for market-oriented productive companies.
2- The results of the analysis showed that the answers of the respondents in the company in question focus in the positive direction on all dimensions of marketing intelligence, and this indicates the use of the dimensions of marketing intelligence represented (customer intelligence, market intelligence, competitor intelligence, and supplier intelligence) by employees in varying proportions.
A set of proposals that are consistent with the conclusions presented by the research were also presented.
1- Introducing gradual improvements to the products and ways of doing business in the company in question by giving global individuals training opportunities that contribute to enhancing their skills and abilities, making the company able to achieve the optimal investment of all resources.
2- Establishing a clear future vision consistent with the objectives of the company under study and serving it, and working to deliver this vision to the workers in a convincing and simplified manner that contributes to motivating them towards achieving it and reaching it by working in a team spirit and enhancing cooperation between the company’s departments and its affiliated laboratories

And some suggestions, including managing private bank mustmust clarify the employee's duties and expectations accurately, and what the organization will offer in return, during employment interviews. And it should not set expectations or make unrealistic promises and pledges that are difficult to fulfill and, when violated, may lead to dissatisfaction

Get PDFThe current research seeks to determine the extent of the impact of the of the DMAIC model for continuous improvement in reducing supply chain risks in the General Company for the Pharmaceutical Industry and Medical Appliances in Samarra, As a model that seeks to identify the root causes of the problem and work to find solutions that caused defects to occur through already defined stages based on the research problem represented by the main question that states (Does the application of the DMAIC model have a direct impact on reducing supply chain risks? ?) In order to answer this question, the questionnaire was formulated as a main tool for data collection, which included the research sample of the senior management in the company as well as managers of departments, units, and production and administrative divisions, which amounted to (225) individuals, and the data was analyzed using the SPSS V.26 program to test the research hypotheses emanating from his model, and the research reached a number of conclusions, the most prominent of which is the significant effect of applying the DMAIC model in reducing supply chain risks. Based on these conclusions, a set of proposals were presented that would serve the company under study.

Does the organization understudy have a clear vision on the importance of harmony between the human sense and technical aspect within the elements of human engineering ?
The study has used a questionnaire as a tool for collecting data ,which was distributed to a random sample of 40 personnel working in Badoosh Cement Factory . The study aimed at postponing the issue of human study and discovering its elements at the level of the organization understudy . The researchers have made use of the following statistical means : frequencies , percentages , means of value , standard deviations , factor analysis and correlation coefficient . The study has come up with a number of conclusions the most important among them are the availability of human engineering elements within one level when the factor analysis was used and the availability of correlation coefficient among the decided items of these elements at the level of the y organization understudy . The study also put forward a number of recommendations.

No full textThe study aimed to determine the impact of strategic intelligence on strategic success, which was determined based on the study problem represented in formulating questions that focus on testing the influencing relationships between the variables of the study. The researcher sought to build a hypothetical study scheme that contributes to identifying the nature of the correlation and influence relationships that exist between its variables represented by strategic intelligence as an independent variable and its role in the factors of strategic success (the dependent variable). The medium industrial companies in Nineveh Governorate were chosen as an area for applying the practical side of the study, and (60) companies were selected from them, and the opinions of their managers were surveyed regarding the questionnaire.The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach in collecting data on the study variables and analyzing them to obtain results. In order to test the hypotheses of the study and answer its practical questions, the questionnaire was distributed to a purposive sample of managers of the researched industrial companies. The obtained data expressing the attitudes of the respondents were analyzed using a set of statistical methods according to the statistical program (SPSS V26) to obtain the arithmetic mean, standard deviations, response ratios, correlation and influence relationships. The results confirmed the support and confirmation of its hypotheses, the positivity of its objectives and the validity of its plan, and the field verification was consistent with the theoretical objectives, and the existence of influence relationships between the variables and dimensions of the study.
