Efficiency of Alkaloid and Phenolic Extracts of Seeds and Leaves Sesabania Plant on Larvae Red Flour Beetle Tribolium castaneum Herbest (Coleoptera : Tenebrionidae)
Get PDFThe results study of efficiency of the alkaloid and phenolic extract of the seeds and leaves of the sesban plant in the average percentage of mortality the larvae of the red rusty flour beetle T. castaneum showed a variation in the average percentage of mortality insect larvae, are reached 62.08 and 73.75%, respectively. The results of the statistical analysis showed that there was a clear significant difference in the average percentage of mortality the larvae for both extracts. The results of the study showed a variation in the effect of the extract of the plant part of the seeds and leaves of the sesban plant on the average percentage of mortality insect larvae, which reached 67.08 and 68.75%, while the results of the effect of the concentrations of the alkaloid and phenolic extract were 0.25, 0.50, 0.75 and 1%, to the average percentage of mortality insect larvae directly proportional to The studied concentrations increased and reached 50.00, 65.00, 72.50, and 83.33%, respectively. The results of the study showed the LC50 values ??and the relative toxicity of the alkaloid and phenolic extract of the seeds and leaves of the Sisban plant, indicating that the alkaloid extract of the leaves of the Sisban plant was superior to the rest of the studied extracts. The LC50 value reached 0.284 and the relative toxicity was 151.41 compared to the alkaloid extract of the seeds of the Sisban plant, which gave the lowest toxicity with an LC50 value of 0. 430 and a relative toxicity of 100
Developing Distance Protection Scheme for Double Circuit Transmission Lines Integrated Into Wind Energy System
Get PDFWind energy integration into the grid presents a major challenge to the conventional Permissive Underreach Transfer Trip (PUTT) distance protection scheme. This technical challenge arises from variations in power generated by wind turbines connected to double-circuit transmission lines. This paper proposes an enhanced PUTT scheme to improve the accuracy of the Mho-type distance protection relay in such systems. The Developed PUTT (DPUTT) scheme incorporates compensation techniques for residual and mutual coupling currents in the zero-sequence network. Since variations in wind generation impact the security of conventional compensation methods, the DPUTT scheme compares earth current magnitudes at both ends of the system to distinguish between faulted and healthy circuits. Simulation results from a MATLAB model show the apparent impedance trajectories observed by the relays at both terminals. These results demonstrate the mechanism of the proposed tripping scheme across three protection zones and show improved performance over the traditional PUTT. The supervision signal generated by the DPUTT effectively blocks tripping of healthy terminals while correctly initiating trips for faulted circuits. The simulation confirms that the proposed DPUTT scheme reduces false tripping events by up to 99% compared to PUTT, significantly enhancing protection reliability and system stability under variable wind conditions
Comparative Analysis of LMS, NLMS, and RLS Adaptive Filters in Vehicle Automation Systems under Mixed Noise Conditions
Get PDFIn modern vehicle automatic systems, noise interference presents a significant obstacle to the precision and dependability of sensor-based control and communication. This study offers a comparative performance evaluation of three adaptive filtering algorithms—Least Mean Squares (LMS), Normalized LMS (NLMS), and Recursive Least Squares (RLS)—utilized for adaptive noise cancellation (ANC) under mixed noise conditions. A MATLAB-based graphical user interface (GUI) simulation was created to estimate and illustrate the performance of each method across three noise types: Gaussian, Impulsive and Mixed. The results informed that RLS attained the greatest signal to noise ratio (SNR) enhancement and with the minimal mean square error (MSE), where as the NLMS offered a proficient equilibrium between velocity and computing complexity. Incidence of Reproductive Disorders in Different animals treated in Teaching Hospital related to Veterinary College of Mosul University: Retrospective data
Get PDFThe current analysis was conducted to quantify the incidence of reproductive disorders in different animals examined and treated at the University Veterinary Hospital, University of Mosul. Such analysis is important in evaluating the hands-on experiences that the local veterinary students obtain in this hospital. For this analysis, data related to the animals examined and treated between January 2018 and December 2022 was retrieved from the records of the Theriogenology section and compiled in Microsoft Excel 2010. A total of 385 Pregnancy diagnosis cases were received, which represented about 50% of all cases received at the hospital. Cows represented 64% of animals received for pregnancy diagnosis. Dystocia in ewes, metritis/endometritis, retained fetal membranes, and inactive ovaries in cows, constituted the most frequent obstetrical cases received at the hospital. In general, all practical reproductive disorders in different she-animals like mare, cow, ewe, nanny goat, buffalo, cat, and bitches were recorded in this analysis which in our point of view add many information in way to improve undergraduate student’s skills. In conclusion, improving skills in pregnancy diagnosis, treatment of dystocia and retained fetal membranes, and diagnosis of metritis/endometritis and inactive ovaries should be considered in the training of local students and it's important to direct and focus practical training and treatment to in the way to deal with reproductive disorders which may related to new situations and conditions like global warming and using best equipment for teaching

Get PDFThe experiment was carried out using 20 genotypes obtained from the International Research Center (ICARDA) in addition to a local cultivar available in the local market, where the cultivation process took place in the research centre of the College of science / University of mosul in the spring season 2019-2020 using random complete block (R.C.B.D investigated the following characteristics: number of days until 50% of the plants flower, secondary branches/plant, height of fresh pod in cm, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, harvesting index, 100-grain weight (gm), biological yield gm, and grain yield per plant gm. investigated the following characteristics: number of days until 50% of the plants flower, secondary branches/plant, height of fresh pod in cm, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, harvesting index, 100-grain weight (gm), biological yield gm, and grain yield per plant gm. To evaluate genetic variability, correlations, and direct and indirect impacts between yield and yield components, a study on path analysis, genetic variability, and correlations was conducted. The number of days that plants flower at 50% and the number of main branches in a plant, as well as the secondary branches/plant, pods per plant, and 100-grain weight (gm), were found to have the highest genotypic and phenotypic coefficients of variation. Certain traits, including the number of seeds per pod, biological yield per plant, and harvest index, had a strong phenotypic and genetic link while others, like plant height, the secondary branches/plant, and the height of the first pod, did not approach the significant limit. Analysis of path coefficients (seed yield as a dependent variable) concluded that the number of seeds per plant, biomass yield, biological yield, number of tillers, and number of secondary branches in the plant had all had a beneficial direct impact on seed yield. When choosing the highest-yielding genotypes in chickpeas, it is crucial to consider factors like grain yield and seed weight in the pod where the phenotypic path coefficient was significant for certain traits and in the desired direction.

The purpose of the study is to explore the role of technical and non-technical skills of accountants practicing the accounting profession in Iraq in creating and stimulating innovation in the field of accounting. Relevant literature was reviewed, and a proposed theoretical framework was presented to show and test the relationship between these variables. The descriptive analytical approach was used to verify and examine the relationship between creating accounting innovation and technical and non-technical skills among accountants practicing the accounting profession in Iraq. Data were collected through a form prepared for this purpose. A questionnaire form was distributed to the study sample of 320 male and female employees working as accountants in economic units in Iraq. The study used bivariate correlation techniques and multiple regression analysis techniques to examine the proposed hypotheses. The data analysis technique used in this study was used to examine the data collection process and clarify the degree of association between the research variables. The study found that technical and non-technical skills among Iraqi accountants affect stimulating and generating innovation by improving the efficiency of preparing and analysing financial and accounting data, saving time and effort in review and audit procedures, and improving the accuracy of financial reports.

However, careful epistemological reading and digging deep into the intellectual systems that stand Behind the distribution of human social roles reveals that such marginalized aspects are the origin of the crystallization of the phenomenon of violence against women.
