The current research aims to measure the nature of the relationship between the dimensions of fear marketing, represented by (fear of missing opportunities, fear of product scarcity, fear of losing the product, fear of followers and influencers) at Tariq Agha General Trading Company in Mosul, which was the field of research, as data was collected from the research sample, which amounted to (200) individuals, who are the company's permanent customers, using the questionnaire, which is the main tool for collecting data, and analyzing it based on the statistical program (SPSS v.22) to reach a solution to the research problem, which is "What is the nature of the relationship between the dimensions of fear marketing in the company under study from the point of view of customers?" Which aroused the interest of the researchers to adopt the dimensions of fear marketing, as it is a pattern that contributes to achieving the goals of the company under study, and one of the most prominent results that were reached is the existence of a significant and positive correlation between the dimensions of fear marketing, and the research presented a set of proposals, including: that the organization under study take into account the (price) it obtains compared to the services and effort made by the staff in the company.

The research aims to demonstrate the importance of information technology in identifying and analyzing variances of actual cost elements from the planned costs in the budget by designing a proposed model for preparing a budget and identifying and analyzing variances of cost elements based on Excel programs. The research adopted the descriptive analytical approach by presenting and analyzing how information technology is used in analyzing variances of actual cost elements from the standard. The research reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which are: Information technology contributes to enhancing the role of the cost accountant according to modern trends in the field of costs, as it is no longer just recording and analyzing costs, but rather its role must be extended and expanded to include tracking actual costs in light of what has been determined in advance, and reporting to management on the reasons for the differences between them.
Molecular characterization of methicillin resistance Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) from eye infections in domestic cats in Mosul city
The spread of antibiotic resistance has become a global threat in both human and veterinary sectors. In this study, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strains were previously isolated from cats with eye infections have characterised using PCR and DNA sequencing. The mecA resistance gene, in addition to clfA, cfB and coa virulence factor genes were used as molecular markers. The results indicated successful amplification of all these genes with PCR product size 147, 288, 203 and 674 bp, respectively. Additionally, the sequencing results of mecA gene confirm the PCR results, and 4 MRSA isolates were registered in the GenBank under accession no. PQ181561, PQ181562, PQ181563 and PQ181564. The phylogenetic analysis of the mecA gene indicates that the source of these bacteria is human. In conclusion, pet cats serve as reservoir for MRSA and could transmit such zoonotic pathogen to humans in contact with these animals
Influence of ozone treatment on quality of stored orange juice
This study aimed to treat Orange Juice with Ozone Gas and store the juice for 30 days. The characteristics and Laboratory tests were evaluated every 7 days to determine the effect of Ozone treatment on the juice properties during different storage periods.
At the end of the storage period, an increase was observed in the Total Phenolic Compound values and Total Acidity values, while the Total Soluble Solids, pH, and Browning Index values decreased. The Impact of OFDM-IM System Parameters on the Performance of the SLM PAPR Reduction Technique
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing with Index Modulation (OFDM-IM) is an effective communication technology that utilizes subcarrier indices to transmit information in addition to the information traditionally modulated on active subcarriers. However, OFDM-IM suffers from high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR), which can result in signal distortion and hence system performance degradation. One of the techniques used to alleviate the PAPR in OFDM-IM is the selected mapping (SLM) technique. The effectiveness of the SLM PAPR reduction technique is affected by OFDM-IM system parameters, such as the number of subcarriers and subcarrier activation ratio. This paper explores the impact of these OFDM-IM system parameters on the PAPR reduction performance of the SLM technique with different phase sequence settings.
The obtained results provide an overview of the collective effect of both OFDM-IM and SLM parameters in different operation cases. The findings show that the amount of PAPR reduction is mainly affected by the number of subcarriers, and less affected by the subcarrier activation ratio. That is a greater PAPR reduction of up to 4.2 dB is achievable with relatively smaller number of subcarriers. The results show the limited effect of more complex phase vectors, hence suggesting simpler SLM parameter setting alternatives to achieve a target PAPR reduction performance. Finally, the results show the improvement in Bit Error Rate (BER) performance of OFDM-IM system employing the SLM with carefully selected PAPR reduction parameters

Achieving sustainable quality management programs in healthcare is a global goal implemented year after year. Therefore, sustainable quality must now be placed at the forefront of basic healthcare priorities in all countries. Organizations in general, and hospitals in particular, are witnessing a new trend toward environmental protection, coupled with a growing awareness of the environmental damage caused by hospital operations and activities. Therefore, the research aimed to study the role of sustainable quality (responsiveness, reliability, digital transformation and smart activities, infrastructure, social quality, and sustainability) in achieving green hospital requirements (green leadership, waste management, green transportation, green energy management, chemical management, green procurement management, and pollution treatment) in the organizations under study. This represents the main hypothesis of the research by establishing correlations and influences between the independent and dependent variables. Questionnaires were distributed to collect data from a random sample and analyze them statistically. The sample numbered (143) administrative leaders from the research community, and (110) valid questionnaires were retrieved for analysis. The research reached several conclusions, the most important of which was the confirmation of the main research hypothesis that there is a correlation and influence between the dimensions of sustainable quality in achieving the requirements of green hospitals. The research suggested the need to move beyond some of the traditional methods adopted by the management of the organizations under study and adopt them to achieve sustainable quality through advanced technology to meet the requirements of the green hospitals under study. Relationship between Multidrug Resistance and Biofilm Formation in Pseudomonas aeruginosa Isolated from Burn wound Patients
Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa) is a common nosocomial pathogenic bacterium found in hospitals and burn clinics, and it is a major contributor to illness and death. The study was aimed to investigate the correlations among antibiotic resistance, pigment synthesis, and biofilm formation by P. aeruginosa. One hundred eighty samples were gathered from burn wound patients at Azadi Teaching Hospitals/Burn Center, only 48 isolates of P. aeruginosa were obtained from various sources of burn. A microtiter plate approach is utilized for detecting biofilm. In the present findings, the bacteria were most prevalent in flame burns, followed by hot liquid burns, gas explosions, and electrical burns, with percentages of 41.7%, 35.4%, 16.7%, and 6.2% correspondingly. Pyoverdine and pyocyanin are more frequently seen on Cetrimide agar compared to other pigments. Antibiotic resistance rates varied across different antibiotics: Piperacillin (83.3%), Aztreonam (79.2%), Ceftazidim and Cefepim (62.5%), and Amikacin (52.1%). Levofloxacin, Gentamicin, and Tobramycin showed moderate resistance rates of 41.7%, 37.5%, and 35.4% respectively, however Imipenem and Ciprofloxacin exhibited minimal resistance and are considered the most effective medications against P. aeruginosa and 33.3% of isolates were positive for ESBL. P. aeruginosa identified 95.8% of isolates as biofilm producers, with 33.3% classified as strong producers, 45.8% as moderate producers, 16.7% as weak producers, and 4.2% as non-producers. An examination of the susceptibility pattern of biofilm-forming bacterial isolates revealed that 82.6% of them were multi-drug resistant (MDR). Impact of olive leaves powder addition to diet on carcass characteristics of Awassi lambs
The research was conducted on the Animal Production field of the College of Agriculture and Forestry / University of Mosul. Twenty-four Awassi lambs were used in study, randomly divided into four treatments. The lambs of the first treatment (control), were fed the standard diet only, while the lambs of the second, third, and fourth treatments, were fed the standard diet with the addition of 25, 50, and 75 g/kg olive leaves powder, respectively. The study lasted for 90 days, preceded by an introductory period that lasted for 10 days. At the end of the study, three lambs from each treatment, were slaughtered to study carcass characteristics. The results of the statistical analysis of live body weight showed that there was a significant superiority (P?0.05) for all three olive leaves treatments, and the significant superiority was reflected in the hot carcass weight, and all treatments did not differ significantly in the dressing percentage relative to the hot carcass weight. The results of the physical dissection of the three ribs (9, 10, and 11), showed that there was a significant increase (P?0.05) in ribs weight, rib eye area and ribs fat for all olive leaves treatments. While the bone weight of the three ribs decreased significantly in the second and third olive leaves treatments, lean weight increased significantly in 2nd and 4th treatments. Wide tail fat and kidney fat increased significantly in all olive leaves treatments, also recorded a significant increase in Omental and Mesenteric fat in 3rd and 4th treatments. The addition of olive leaves to the ration of Awassi lambs cased an improvement in body and carcass weight and some carcass traits
Influence of Induced Diabetes on the Severity of Experimental Toxoplasmosis in Mice
This study aimed to evaluate the effect of induced diabetes on the severity of experimental toxoplasmosis in mice. 10 placenta samples were collected from Al-Salam Hospital in the city of Mosul. The parasite isolated and identified. Eighty mice were experimental diabetes were induced with Alloxan, and divided into three groups; two groups 40 mice of both sexes (20 males and 20 females) infected in Toxoplasma gondii (T. gondii), and 20 mice consider as a control group. Mice were sacrificed at one, two, three and six weeks post infection (p.i.), blood serum was collected and evaluated for the severity of T. gondii infection using an ELISA kit, and glucose and insulin levels were measured. Tissue cysts in brain casts were also assessed. The results showed a significant difference at P < 0.01. in the glucose level in all groups, the highest glucose level was recorded at six week i.p in females which recorded 274.13±74.13. It was also observed that there is an increase in the rate of insulin level, the highest rate was showed in the second and sixth weeks p.i in male group which recorded16.15±4.14. furthermore, it was found that the highest concentration level forIGg was recorded at third week p.i females which recorded 0.52±0.06., Furthermore, a statistical relationship was found between males and females according to number of cysts
Application of New Sero- Diagnostic Techniques and Molecular Assays to Characterize Recent Mycoplasma Isolates from Ruminants in Nigeria
This study investigated the presence of contagious bovine pleuropneumonia (CBPP) and contagious caprine pneumonia (CCPP) in ruminants to confirm and identify the mycoplasma species present. A comprehensive approach was employed, involving serological and molecular assays. A total of 342 cattle and 319 goats were tested, with 42 cattle and 23 goats showing positive serum samples, along with six stored cultures. These samples were analyzed using various serological assays, including IDEXX CBPP and CCPP cELISAs, Immunoblot, CapriLAT, BoviLAT, and the Complement Fixation Test (CFT). Molecular techniques such as PCR-DGGE, species-specific PCRs, and real-time PCR kits were also utilized. The results indicated serological evidence of CCPP and CBPP infections, with some samples positive for M. agalactiae and M. ovipneumoniae. Due to culture contamination, the real-time PCR results were often borderline. However, the study suggests mixed infections in goats and highlights the importance of storing purified colony isolates and expanding sampling regions to identify diagnostic biomarkers and potential vaccine traits for mycoplasmas in Nigerian isolates
