Хятан хэлний үг хэллэгийг түүвэрлэн тайлбарлах нь (Цуврал - 2): Interpretation of Some Khitan Lexical Items (Continued Series II)
The progress in Khitan studies over the past century has been built upon the foundational work of earlier scholars in deciphering and reconstructing the pronunciation of the glyphs and graphemes. Since the dawn of the new century, with the establishment and gradual refinement of Khitan text databases, the comparative research methodology between Khitan large script and Khitan small script has demonstrated its unique value. In previous studies, we employed this comparative approach to interpret certain words and phrases in Khitan inscriptions. Building on this foundation, the present study further expands the scope by integrating newly discovered epigraphic materials to propose original insights into the pronunciation and meanings of several Khitan words, seeking expert feedback from fellow scholars
Хятан их бичгийн дурсгал дахь “Жаргалын дотор зовлон, зовлонгийн дотор жаргал буй” гэх эшлэл үгийн тухай : Allusion in Khitan Large Script Misfortune is What Fortune Leans on; Fortune is What Misfor-tune Lurks Within
An allusion in Khitan large script found in the Epitaph of Xiao Chen’ge Biexu, which was at that time referred to as the Epitaph of the Second Year of Qingning, originates from the statement “Misfortune is what fortune leans on; Fortune is what misfortune lurks within” in Chapter 58 of the Taoist classic Dao De Jing. By interpreting this allusion, this paper deciphers the Khitan large words meaning “calamity, misfortune” and “exist”
Хятан бага бичгийн хөшөөний бичээсийн хуулбар дахь хэдэн ташаарлын залруулга ба хэлтэрч баларсан үсгүүдийн сэргээлт: Corrections of Misreadings and Restoration of Missed Characters in the Transcriptions of Khitan Small Script Epitaphs
This paper takes as its point of departure the commonly observed phrase found in Khitan Small Script epitaphs. It analyzes and compares the structural features and terminology appearing at the end of the inscription texts immediately preceding this phrase. Employing philological and textual criticism methods, the study identifies and corrects erroneous entries and transcription mistakes in the interpretations included in Further Studies on the Khitan Small Script as well as in four recently published digital transcriptions of Khitan epitaphs. Additionally, this paper proposes restorations for certain missing characters. The organization and correction of digital transcriptions are of critical scholarly value for the accurate interpretation and systematic compilation of Khitan textual materials
Хөвсгөл хөдөлгөөн: 1988-1991: Khuvsgul movement: 1988-1991
During mid 1987, influenced by Perestroika in the Soviet Union, writers from Soviet Siberia, together with Japanese journalists and writers, started an environmental movement to protect Lake Baikal. The movement drew writers and journalists from the Republics of Armenia and Kazakhstan, which were part of the Soviet Union at that time, forming the international environmental movement "Roof". Inspired by these, writer Baldorj Tserendorj publsihed an article entitled "Mother Sea on the Death Row" with the request of newspaper “Unen”. The article was so inspiring that in July 1988, Mongolian journalists and writers formed "Khuvsgul Movement" as a branch of "Baikal Movement". In the fall of 1989, the students of the National University of Mongolia organized a movement to protect Lake Khuvsgul. This article referenced the archive materials of the National Archives of Mongolia, the former Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party, old daily newspapers, official memoirs of people who participated in the event, and interviews with them. It could be concluded that the public protests to protect Lake Khuvsgul played a critical role in organization of the first demonstration in Mongolia and formation of Mongolian Democratic Union
Олон нийтийн орчин дахь ньюд урлагт цензуртэй хандах нь: Censorship of new art in the public environment
In this article, we aim to determine how nude artwork can be distinguished from pornography to determine the difference in its meaning and to answer whether it is necessary to censor nude artwork in public spaces. Although in any society, there should be an age limit on the public display of nudes (television, social media, such as mass media), classical works of art are not intended to be obscene but to illustrate the perfect person and to make the observer who feels the beauty of nature. Thus, censorship of nude art shouldn't be approached from the social side (e.g., obscenity); it should be approached from the beauty side
Нийгмийн судалгаанд зураг ашиглах нь: Visual Method in social research
The paper reads a photography taken in China in 1954 using a methodology that makes sound inferences from the picture itself and the audience under communist leaders. Social documentaries can be used to enhance our research and understanding in new ways. The picture about a distinguished schoolboy from a remote area as an inheritor aims to inculcate the people with the eternity of communism and its ideology.
