China's stable economic growth has a notable impact on Mongolia's economy, necessitating an assessment of whether this effect is short-term or long-term. Understanding the level of economic dependence on China is crucial for informed policymaking. This study confirms a long-term relationship between Mongolia's economy and China's. The foreign economic dependence index, measured at 28.2 percent, highlights a significant reliance on a single country. This underscores the need for Mongolia to diversify its economy and enhance economic engagement with a broader range of countries

No full textIn this study, the energy calibration and efficiency of a NaI(Tl) scintillation detector were carried out by activating 55^{55}55Mn using a 239^{239}239Pu-Be neutron source within the energy range of 0.5–1.0 MeV. This method was then applied to determine the manganese (Mn) content in several imported black tea samples commonly consumed in Mongolia. The results revealed that the Mn concentration varied depending on the type of tea, ranging from 0.4 to 4.1 mg/g

No full textA metaphor is a form of composition that implicitly compares one thing to another. The more rational the analogy, the more concise, understandable and graphic the expression can be. Therefore, implicit metaphors or metaphors belong to cognitive sciences such as psychology, linguistics, and culture. Metaphorical sentences and idioms require certain skills to translate because of the culture of the language. Mongolians have a long history of developing and applying rich translation practices and theories. One of their major confirmations is Khasbu's “Newly translated «The Dream of the Red Chamber»”. Currently, academics are still studying the introduction and interpretation method of the novel "Newly translated «The Dream of the Red Chamber»” and the translation of the poem. This time, we observe and summarize the translation of metaphorical sentences and idioms in Khasbu's "Newly translated «The Dream of the Red Chamber»”
“Монголын Нууц Товчоон”-ы “iloγa” гэх үгийг шинжлэх нь : An Analysis of the Word iloγa in The Secret History of the Mongols
No full textThere are three words rooted from “iloγa” in The Secret History of the Mongols, which are “iloγadqu” and “iloγadba” in §174, “ iloγatuju” in §188. Scholars have different interpretations of these three characters, and to date, there is no view that associates the etymological roots of these characters with insect. The “iloγadqu” and “ iloγadba” are interpreted as “infringe”, “fight”, “stir... up”, etc., and “iloγatuju” is generally interpreted as related to the root “ilaγa”. In this article, we consider that the root of the three words is “ iloγa” instead of “ ilaγa”. The “iloγatuju” in §188 is the original meaning of the word “iloγa”, while the “iloγadqu” and “ iloγadba” in §174 are the extended meanings of the word . Furthermore, we consider that the roots of the words such as “ilaγuγsan” “ ilaγuγči” that appeared frequently in ancient Mongolian literature and “ iloγaxu [jɔlɔ:x]” in the Khorchin dialect are also “ iloγa”.Keywords: The Secret History of the Mongols; iloγa-; transition of vowel i ; Noun-Verb Concurrenc
