No full textThe research results, studied questions related to violence against children, showed that many children were being subjected to any form of violence or abuse in Mongolia. Addressing the problem in secondary schools is paramount. The author aimed to suggest the effective ways to help schools for changing violent behaviors in adolescents. The article showed that effective strategies focus on: development of adolescents’ positive leadership; use art and literatures; prevention from discrimination; prevention from drug and alcohol use and etc

No full textThis article will illustrate how mass media, such as TV chat, yellow newspapers also some radio broadcast are being advertised pornography based on the content analysis. Even though Mongolia had already ratified law and regulation anti advertising pornography on mass media, they are not following the rule in terms of the study. The importance of our research showed the following results. Firstly, advertising pornography by analyzing content, tendency, form as well as frequency and size of the specified newspaper. Secondly, research study focused on laws, which were related to the advertising illegal information ‘pornography’. Thirdly, based on these analyses, we will influence policy makers and other related parts

No full textIn this article, the methodology and methods used by Russian sociologists are localized in accordance with the characteristics of the life of Mongolians and the characteristics of available data, and the goal is to outline the integrated index of the life opportunities and risks of Mongolians today. In doing so, each of the four sets of indicators: a) economic conditions of life, b) conditions at work, c) opportunities to preserve and increase human capital, d) characteristics of consumption and free time, will be defined with three positive and three negative indicators, showing the overall positive side 12 , 12 to show the negative side, all 24 measures are selected and measured, and the results are presented

No full textAbstract: College enrollment in Mongolia has increased sharply over the last twenty years. As the number of college graduates is still on the rise, there is a growing concern whether higher education pays off in the country. In this paper, we measure the college wage premium using the Labor Force Survey of Mongolia, and compare the measured premium with those in other countries. We find that given the standard Mincerian regression, the college premium in Mongolia is comparable with that in the U.S., but higher than those in many European countries. We argue that the average wage of the college graduates in Mongolia is negatively related to college enrollment. The large regional gap in the college premium is consistent with large mobility differences among different educational groups of Mongolia.

Энэхүү ажил хаялтыг бид тухайн ажил хаялтанд оролцсон хүмүүсийн дурдатгал, Үндэсний төв Архив, МАХН-ын архивын материалыг судалж нотлов. Эрдэнэтийн Зөвлөлтийн барилгын “Медьмолибденстрой” байгууллагын монгол жолооч нар цалин хөлстэй холбоотой хөдөлмөрийн маргааны улмаас ажил хаялт хийжээ. Үйлдвэрчний эвлэлийн бүлгийн ахлагч ажилчдыг зохион байгуулсан, ажил хаялт ажилчдын талд эерэгээр шийдэгдсэнээр дууссан бөгөөд дээд удирдагуудын анхаарлын төвд орсон байжээ. Судалгаагаар 1988-1990 оныг дуустал нийтдээ 31 ажил хаялт бүртгэгдээд байгаагийн хамгийн анхны ажил хаялт нь Эрдэнэтийн ажил хаялт байв.
